Here are some of my buys from last month. I finally bought my FIRST Etoile Isabel Marant item!

Well, it's second hand but that doesn't make it less cool. I love the simplicity of the skirt, it's just very timeless. And it was such a bargain I had to do it. Bought a new pair of Converse sneakers (I prefer the low ones) and a skirt, striped shirt and pinapple printed shirt (all H&M Trend). Last week there was a vintage kg sale in Amsterdam, you would only pay 15 euros per kilogram. They had shoes, bags and lots of clothing. Love hunting for some pretty stuff at such places, at the end I bought four items.

I'm sorry for my lack of posts the past month. But I have a great reason for that!

Yesterday I started my second week at Dutch magazine VIVA! I am going to work

for VIVA as an Fashion & Lifestyle intern till the end of August.

I will be assisting the editors with fashion articles, shoppings, styling and more.

Also I will be reporting from shows and presentations for the magazine. I'm working on

some new blogposts, but my internship just has a tiny bit more priority right now.

I'm not the most creative person when it comes to dressing up in the morning, so this

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. When I saw this gorgeous Zara coat in store wednesday,

I really had too keep myself from crying. It's so perfect, yet a bit different then

everything else. I had to buy it, no exceptions. After only five minutes I walked

out the door, just to remember that I now was officially broke.

But it was all worth it. Now let's hope it gets a bit sunnier soon...

A semi high waisted black skinny jeans, grey printed tee and a basic top that has a little bit of see-through all from Weekday. Also bought this cute silver (mixed with a string of grey wool) necklace at COS. COS has the best basic jewelry!

There aren't many Dutch labels I really adore. But since a few weeks, and after seeing their
new SS2013 campaign, Maison Scotch really caught my eye. And my heart (read more)

Maison Scotch is part of Scotch & Soda, an Amsterdam based fashion brand.

Their clothes have a great Isabel Marant vibe (my favorite label) without the huge pricetags! Sounds wonderful, right? It's still a bit pricy, but much more affordable then IM.

I've bought already three items of Maison Scotch this week (pants, top and dress).

I guess my new addiction will grow according to their spring/summer looks...

Me and my friend Irene at Sziget festival, Hungary

It just came to mind that I didn't show you guys anything of my vacation this summer!

Not a single glimps of what was a great, but hard time in my life. Just two weeks after

the passing of my mother, I went to Sziget festival in Hungary with six other friends.

We planned it for weeks, but making the actual decision to go was kinda hard. (read more)

After almost two weeks of concerts and sun, I went home for a day. Cause the next day, Lowlands Festival was gonna start! I've always wanted to visit Lowlands, and my mom paid a small amount to get me there. That's why I went, it was one of her last presents.

I've had an amazing time, these three weeks. My friends are the best, and made this difficult time a lot more bearable for me. Ofcourse it's weird, when everybody is partying and you're just in so much mental pain. But it's good to draw your attention away from the bad things sometimes. It really helped for me.

I hope you enjoy the pictures! Analog and Instagram, who needs more?

Today it was my turn. I love her looks, and must say she (almost) convinced me about getting my hair cut in bangs too. Bangs just add so much more to your style. My hair has been boring for ages. I WANT THAT HAIRSTYLE. But, I'm still in doubt, so help me out guys: bangs, or no bangs?!

Onbewust voor het laatst samen op de foto

Nooit gedacht dat ik ooit zo'n bericht op mijn blog zou plaatsen. Je was een van mijn trouwste bezoekers, en de link stond standaard op jouw startpagina. "Heb je nu alweer gewinkeld?" Klonk het aan de telefoon, nadat je mijn nieuwe aankopen op mijn blog had gezien.

Afgelopen maandag stond de tijd plots voor jou stil. Na amper 59 jaar was het tijd om te gaan. In je geliefde tuin, tussen de kleurrijke bloemen en kwetterende vogels, hield jouw leven op. Gisteren hebben we afscheid moeten nemen, maar ik voel je aanwezigheid nog steeds om mij heen. Morgen word ik 21 jaar, een bijzondere leeftijd. En God, wat had ik het graag met je willen vieren. Hopelijk kijk je morgen met me mee. En overmorgen. En alle eenzame dagen die nog komen gaan...

I got pretty bored today, and decided to make a short movie about HAIR. I've been wanting to do something like this for a very long time, cause I like hair. Waving in the wind. It's the first time that I'm trying to make something like this, and I actually like the result. It's weird. And short. And hairy ;)

PS. This morning I had my last exam, and I passed! Now I have my 'Propedeuse'! Yay!

The last few weeks I've changed a lot in my house. Mostly small accessoires, but they can make a difference too! For example this new magazine-display from Ikea: it's fun, has a good design and is easy to use for nice magazines like the Dutch Vogue! It's located above my dinner table.

Next thing: clothes! I've bought this white skinny jeans (with ripped ends) and bright purple top (it's the back you see on this picture!) last week, both are from H&M Trend... ofcourse. Do you like it? X

I got my nose pierced!

I've been drooling over a nose ring for soooo long, but never had the guts to actually do it... Until today! Me and my friend Aukje went to a tattooshop to get her a new earring. But after seeing all those piercings, and hearing that she had time to pierce us we did it! Aukje got a forward helix, and I got my nose pierced. Auch! Read more to see the result...

Haha, picture overload! But I had to show it to my friends... and parents, who didn't had a clue I was planning this. I'm very happy with the result, but can't wait till I can switch the piercing for an actual ring. I like rings more, but for now this will do ;)

PS: My piercing looks quite dark, but it's just a normal silver stud. There's still some blood (iehwww) on it, which makes it look a little bit weird. Well, In my opinion though!

WATCH OUT! PERSONAL UPDATE!

Me and my friends Irene (from myfashionfindings.com) and Marlon went on a boat cruise along the canals of Amsterdam. I've never done it since I live here, and since I don't own a boat we had to do it this way... fun! The third picture is just a random Photobooth photo i shot at my parents house. They had the most amazing hairspray, haha! Check out that volume. I was shocked. And last but not least, a cute picture of my view these days! Isn't it cute and sunny?

Here they are! My new Isabel Marant knock offs! I have been wanting these babies for months now, but unfortunately I never had the money for the real ones. Luckily for me I've discovered eBay (I know, eBay rookie!) a few weeks ago, and here they are! For a very reasonable price, I'm the luckiest girl in the world :)

They're made of real leather, and costed me only €50, and not the regular €500. Sometimes I love a knock off. Only thing is that they are a bit too small for my feet (I've ordered the biggest size, 38,5) but that will hopefully change after I wear them a few times in the house. Who can resist these shoes, with a hidden heel? I love it that I'm a few inches higher when wearing these!
