Why go with an inferior brand? With nearly 70 years in the business and still forging pistons in-house, in the United States, Wiseco needs little introduction. A leader in piston technology, Wiseco’s sport compact collection is produced with light weight and strength in mind, the ideal piston. Pistons feature advanced multivalve technology, specifically designed valve pockets, intricate dome and crown shapes, steel nitride/napier xx rings and optimized skirt profiles. ArmorGlide coating is standard on pistons which reduce friction and noise, resulting in increased horsepower.

Since D2 Racing’s 1996 debut they have managed to build a reputation of quality matched by value. The least of their suspension offerings is the RS coilover system, a 36 way dampening and rebound adjustable, monotube full coilover system featuring separate height and preload adjustments that allow for optimal adjustment and full suspension travel. The lower mounts are constructed of 6061 powder coated aluminum and the threads are teflon coated to prevent rust and seizing, a frequent issue with steel competitor coilovers. Equipped with pillowball upper mounts/ top mounts (depending on application), the D2 brand prides themselves on supplying some of the highest quality coilovers available.

The first thought that should come mind when considering fuel injector upgrades is Injector Dynamics (ID). With the most detailed quality control it is clear why ID has maintained their status as the premier injector. Batch tested in large volumes, the modified injectors are then divided into sets based on their “dynamic flow across the pulsewidth” resulting in a tuners dream, a high flow injector that can idle. Consistent at very low pulse widths, this is what defines true drivablity.

When fast is open to interpretation it takes technological devices such as those by Longacre to truly determine who is “king of the castle.” The Longacre HotLap system operates by sending an invisible signal from the transmitter across the track (included in part number 21710). When your car passes through the beam it is picked up by the receiver that is connected to the display, triggering the timing. The display shows your lap times as you race much more accurately than the primitive hand held stopwatches. You can visualize your times on the track and execute different driving styles or different lines immediately to get the quickest results. Times are stored and can be recalled with ease once you are back in the pits, further supporting your reign as champion.

The “built motor” phrase is frequently misused, usually to describe drop in pistons or a modified head depending on the application. But the actual definition should, at the bare minimum, include top and bottom end improvements.

After having a poor experience with dealer maintenance on his STI, to be specific the oil drain plug wasn’t secure, the life of his motor was quickly put to an end. Seeking professional help this individual made his way into NoLimitMotorsport to have his motor built. With Adam, our Subaru specialist’s, assistance, they addressed every element of the motor. The results are clear but if you can’t wait 522HP on 93 octane.
