Hooray for summer – Fresh tastes

2011-06-30T02:19:00.000-04:00

Breezy open-air markets, bearing baskets of peak-picked freshness. Barbecue that defines “delicious.” Wine to wet your whistle, picture perfect marina dining. Summer never tasted so great!
With the hot weather we know you may feel uncomfortable if overeating. Remember that Security Feel Better is a digestive and may help you to eliminate toxins before they become harmful to your body. Drink 1 bottle of Security AFTER your meal or as your LAST drink of the night if consuming alcohol.

Here are some awesome summer tips:

The ideal time to explore farmers markets, summer brings delectably ripe veggies and fruits, locally grown. Crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, savory summer squash, plump peaches, green snap beans, berries and melons--all chock-full of homegrown goodness.

Find your picnic area, hayrides, tours or other activities for the whole family. Picnics are a pleasant, refreshing pastime. Add cooler and stir!

Go all out for a full-tilt barbecue experience. Some parks offer spectacular views, tailor-made for good southern cooking and old-fashioned fun.

Visit some wineries. Pick up some labels that are sure to perk up your palate, providing the perfect touch to any occasion.

Delight in a laid-back lunch or romantic dinner on the water or at one of beautiful marinas.

It doesn't matter what is your choice, carry always a bottle of Security Feel Better with you!

Party On! 10 Great summer getaways to carry your hangover cure

2011-06-27T09:12:00.001-04:00

We’ve rounded up the 10 best activities and destinations where you can have some fun this summer. Wether you choose a surf trip in Australia or big time party in Vegas, Security Feel Better is definitely a must have item to carry on your trip and being able to enjoy every day without hangovers:

1. Catch a baseball game in Boston
Even a die-hard Yankees fan can’t deny Boston's place in baseball history. The beloved Boston Red Sox (known locally as the Sawx) are such an integral part of the city’s identity that even ambivalence is considered blasphemy. Their fans are fanatical and their home, Fenway Park, looks very much like it did when the first game was played there in 1912.

2. Cook in Napa
You may never own a Michelin-starred restaurant, but there’s no better place to learn the basics than the Culinary Institute of America in Northern California’s Napa Valley. If it gets too hot in the kitchen, get out to one of Napa Valley’s superb restaurants where you can sit back and let someone else do the cooking, or enjoy the fruit of the vine at one of the Valley’s 300-plus wineries.

3. Drink beer in Bavaria
There may be no better place on earth for beer lovers than Bavaria, Germany’s largest state. The capital city of Munich is home to the world-famous Oktoberfest, but there’s plenty of sud-sipping to be done in Bavaria all year long. Beer gardens and beer halls abound, as do centuries-old breweries whose output adheres to the strict standards set forth in 1516. With so many places to lift a glass and say prost!, you won’t have much time for sightseeing; if you need a break from imbibing however, there are plenty of castles, monasteries, medieval villages, lakes, and mountains to explore.

4. Golf in Ponte Vedra Beach
Unless you’ve whittled your handicap down to scratch, you won’t be playing on the PGA tour. Instead, head to Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and book a tee time at the TPC Sawgrass, home of The Players Championship — known as the “Fifth Major” — and the site of Tiger Wood’s incredible 60-foot “better than most” putt that helped him win the tourney in 2001 (you can try to recreate the moment on the famous 17th-hole). No matter what level you're at, playing a course that's as steeped in golf lore.

5. Off-road in Death Valley
Former boy scouts looking for a wilderness camping adventure should look no further than Death Valley, Calif., where deep-rock canyons, old mining camps, and the arid Panamint Mountains beg to explored. See it all via 4x4 — and if you’re feeling really adventurous, spin your wheels in the sand of the Dumont Dunes, some of the tallest dunes open for off-road riding. Set up camp under the stars and test your survival skills, because you’ll be sharing the land with wild donkeys, coyotes and snakes. Pack plenty of drinking water — about two gallons per person per day — if you don’t want the park’s name to predict the outcome of your trip.

6. Party in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is the ultimate spot for excess, a place where for gambling and nightlife. Pool parties are a must, Rehab (Hard Rock) has been a top pool party recommendation. It's all out party vibe in the past has been unmatched but those seeking the plushest pool party will favor Encore Beach Club (Encore). If you are not planning to get drunk and are sensitive to insensitive inebriants, you should go to Encore instead. We will revisit these recommendations later in the season, especially when Marquee Day Club and Nikki Beach Club enter the battle.

7. Play cowboy in Lajitas
Nestled between Big Bend National Park to the west and the Rio Grande to the south, the rugged landscape of small-town Lajitas, Texas, can inspire even the slickest city slicker to don a 10-gallon hat, pack a pistol and settle in for a heated game of poker with his pals. The best place to coral your inner cowboy is at the Lajitas Resort’s Badlands Hotel, which recreates a Wild West frontier town complete with tumbling tumbleweeds and a rickety boardwalk, albeit with modern comforts and amenities. Don’t leave without trying to drink the town’s local celebrity — a beer-swilling goat — under the table.

8. Sport fish in Panama
If the only thing you know about Panama is that is has a famous canal, it’s time for a trip to Central America. Panama is full of surprises; that it’s an excellent spot for sport fishing is one of many. Panama’s waters are home to swordfish, marlin and even some shark species. Even if the fish aren’t biting, the landscapes alone are worth the trek — exploring the country’s tropical rainforests and untouched beaches.

9. Surf in Sydney
The “Man” in Manly Beach isn’t the only reason for its guy-getaway allure. Known as the Bondi Beach of the north, this strip of Sydney sand attracts hordes of visitors looking to kick back and ride the waves. Plus, once the sun goes down, you can head out and enjoy Sydney’s legendary nightlife.

10. Cruise Ship Nothing quite defines the archetypal getaway for a couple in love like a tropical cruise. Imagine drifting quietly through warm, crystal clear Caribbean waters, an exotic paper umbrella-topped drink your hand, your true love at your side, and some new island paradise looming in the near future. If this sounds something like the vacation of your dreams, you may be ready to book your first cruise.

Security Feel Better in support of Rally For Kids With Cancer 2011

2011-05-03T09:59:00.000-04:00

Eva Longoria was, once again, Honorary Chair for the annual Rally For Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup 2011 in Miami; and Security Feel Better was there to ensure a Hangover-Free Rally after the incredible draft party.

Celebrities started to walk the red carpet on Friday evening by 7 pm, at the kick off party for this two-day event, at the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach; where they were handed samples of Security Feel Better during the event and as they were leaving the party.

The event continued through Saturday morning for the rally, where an elaborate scavenger hunt was designed to include six exclusive pit-stops. Then final lap of Saturday’s race end up with “The Winner’s Circle” Gala Dinner where a silent auction and award ceremony was held.

The event’s goal was to raise much-needed funding for research, care and treatment for children’s cancer, on behalf of fiscally-responsible organizations within the Miami area. The real goal is to one day find a cure and bring an end to cancer!

Besides Eva Longoria, stars such as Bai Ling, Ivan Sergei, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Maria-Conchita Alonso, Christina Milian were also supporting the event, and had the chance to be presented with our premium anti-hangover shot, and even taking samples homes in their goodie bags.

“The Rally for Kids with Cancer Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children throughout Miami,” says Eva. By pledging to this event, you are supporting children’s cancer research from diagnosis and treatment, to conducting research and finding promising new therapies.”

Security Feel Better is proud to being one of the sponsors, together with Perry Ellis International, Tiffany & Co., Grey Goose Vodka, and a list of others brands to support the cause.

The best hangover prevention in the market!

2011-03-28T13:55:00.012-04:00

What do customers have to say about Security Feel Better?

As we are hitting the US market, more and more people are trying the effectiveness and the reviews couldn't be better!

At Amazon, clients are saying "Straight to the point these drinks worked very well."

The website Hangover Cures that Work recently published an article where they compare Anti-hangover Drinks versus Hangover pills:

"Many people who have used anti hangover pills and then switched to Security Feel Better Anti-Hangover Drink for hangover relief, say that Security Feel Better Anti-Hangover Drink is the superior product – hands down. Since it is an anti hangover drink and not a pill, it’s improved effectiveness makes sense. Your body more readily absorbs liquids, so Security Feel Better Anti-Hangover Drink goes to work immediately to speed up alcohol digestion so you don’t have to deal with a hangover."

And last but not least, Security Feel Better has received the seal of approval getting an "A" rate at Drinkhacker.com, The Essential Blog for The Discriminating Drinker, where the taste and effectiveness of our hangover prevention drink beat any competitor:

"The problem, as I've said here on the blog many times, with hangover prevention drinks is that they often taste so bad the hangover is actually preferable. That and they don't really work.

Security Feel Better (yes, that's the name) wins on both fronts: It tastes good, and it seems to be effective at making the morning after more of a success."

Cheers for all the positive words, and for those who haven't tried, look for a location near you or buy it online:

Check out some of Eddie's Music http://www.myspace.com/eddietanaka/stream

With a high percentage of its population being of Native Hawaiian ancestry, Molokai is place where Hawaiian culture thrives. The people of Molokai continue to preserve their rural lifestyle thanks to their love of the land, or aloha aina, and you can feel this aloha from small town Kaunakakai to sacred Halawa Valley.

Valentine’s Day: Celebrating the Holiday of Love

2011-02-09T10:10:00.004-05:00

Valentine’s Day is all about flowers and heart shaped chocolate box. Approximately 110 million roses, the majority red, will be sold and delivered within a three-day time period.

Even if you don't have a Valentine, you can still celebrate life, either alone or with friends, with these Valentine's Day ideas. On February 14^th , what will you celebrate?

Valentine’s Day

It’s a tradition. Since the Middle Ages, people have honored St. Valentine, the patron saint of romantic causes.

Love inspires creativity. Even if words aren’t your thing, a love letter, poem or handmade card is the perfect way to express how you feel about someone.

It's an excuse to indulge in some fancy cooking for two. Start with fresh oysters and end with strawberries in balsamic vinegar jelly.

Adventure. What is the one thing your partner has always wanted to do? Now is the day to make that wish come true.

Pamper yourselves. Stay in the honeymoon suite at a five star hotel, visit a day spa together, shower each other with gifts, get dressed up for dinner, and order two rounds of dessert.

Stay in. Order takeaway, buy a tub of your favorite ice cream, hire romantic movies and chill out on the sofa.

Party. When was the last time you hit the town together? Head to a bar, buy tickets to a gig, finally go to the newest nightclub in town.

Spread the love. Remind your friends and family how much you love them by sending Valentine's Day e-cards to everyone you care about.

Singles Awareness Day

For Her:

You can eat the entire box of chocolate.
Sometimes it's fun to drink champagne by yourself and dance to disco tunes in your living room.
It's okay if you're having a bad hair day. No one will notice.
Those tiny containers of Haagen Dazs were obviously designed for one person.
Hairy legs? No problem.
You get to spend quality time with your cat.
You can have a Sex in the City party with your other single girlfriends.
You can have the remote control all to yourself.

For Him:

You don't have to sit through chick flicks and pretend to like them.
You get to stay home and drink beer.
No clueless trips to Victoria's Secret, not knowing what size she is. The salesgirls will thank you.
One less day to have to remember – it's just Monday.
You don't have to shave – or even shower.
You can watch The Fight Channel all night long.
You don't have to wait in line with those other last-minute Valentine's Day shoppers.
You don't have to talk about your feelings.
You don't have to talk.
No one will stop you from playing video games.
You can save your money to buy more video games.

Remember that you don't need to be in a relationship to celebrate LIFE!

Just keep in mind that Feb 15 is a Tuesday and you need to get back to work… or you may keep enjoying your celebration in the morning after!

Doesn’t matter what is your celebration; take your anti-hangover drink, Security Feel Better the night before!

Order yours now:

New Year’s resolution: Cure your “existential” hangover

2010-12-20T10:42:00.000-05:00

New years is the opening of a fresh, new, year according to the calendar, but actuality it’s just another day — no different than yesterday. But then again, any excuse to get drunk is a good one: Break-ups or Unions, Bankruptcy or Successful business, illness or perfect health conditions.
Its also they where promises are made to start making the right decisions forthwith.

All the same, every year when the New Year rolls around, you find people wracking their brain to think of resolutions to improve their life. They've probably found from experience that resolving to win the lottery is not likely to happen, because as they say (not that I've ever figured out who "they" are), "Ya gotta play to win."

Obviously, gets better results whoever make resolutions that are a sure thing. Stuff like, “learn how to cook," or "Sleep whenever possible." A simple and achievable resolution can be: start the New Year without hangover!

New Year's Eve is the night when millions of toasts are made. But the next day, many will suffer the consequences - the dreaded hangover headache. As wonderful as the New Year's Eve party might have been, partygoers who overdid it at the bar will spend New Year's Day tormented by a hangover. The typical symptoms are fatigue, headache, joint pain and an upset stomach that typically includes vomiting and pain.

Are you wondering if you can make it through this New Year's morning without suffering from the dreaded party hangover? Whether you have a couple of glasses of wine or go for a hard boozing night of holiday revelry, a hangover can get you.

That’s when the wise guy inside of you should look for a solution that make your first day of the year THE GREAT DAY OF THE YEAR. If you think about it, the last day is to be forgotten, and the first you will carry with you during the other 364 days. So chose wisely the hangover prevention method you will go for. Go for natural and eco-friendly products - yes sir, going green should be on your resolutions. Trust the ones that have been in the market long enough to prove their efficacy, for example, Security Feel Better.

Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. Start with simples but realistic resolutions that can change your every day, like not suffering hangovers anymore!
