When I was in Hawaii, I ate Subway’s one at the morning. Those foods are very impressive for me, because there are many fresh ingredients such as onion, lettuce, etc.

In fact, I was bored with foods that I ate. Because those were so oiled and include many cheeses which I hard to digest. But this one is not. It’s good to eat at the morning!

When I came back to Korea, I searched the Subway store in Korea. There are few stores in Korea, but not in Daejeon city where I live. oTL

Anyway, in my opinion, Subway products are most delicious food in USA.^^

Yesterday, I attend the workshop for master students in department of computer science in KAIST. I made a poster that describe my MS thesis, and explain about it to friends and other students.

My MS thesis title is ‘Distributed Online Learning for Topic Models’. Main idea is combining distributed algorithm and online learning algorithm together. Then it gurranted qualitative one, but speed is faster than exsiting algorithms.

Now it only remained that submit the paper to office and library. So I write and polish my thesis.^^

From a few years ago, in every my birthday, I donate some money to some association such as unicef or  save the chirdren. And at last year, I bought some goods in unicef shop. Because its profit is also works for children.

In this year, I also bought goods in unicef shop (https://www.unicef.or.kr/shop). T-shirt, towel, cap and umbrella. I hope those activity are helpful for children.^^

I submitted the short paper and it is accepted. So I did oral presentation at July 11. My paper name is ‘Self-Disclosure and Relationship Strength in Twitter Conversations‘.

It’s my first time to do oral presentation in conference. In fact, I never registered any international conference. So I didn’t know how to explain my paper and progress of conference. Therefore I do volunteer at Monday to check about it. It’s really helpful to understand the conference and oral presentation situation.

So I did it. It’s 10 min oral presentation and 5 min Q&A time. But many people had questions and comments to me. In fact, I exhausted to do oral presentation. So I couldn’t concentrate the people’s words exactly. That’s my mistake. OTL

Anyway I’ve been to Jeju island to attend the ACL 2012 and EMNLP 2012 conference. I saw many papers and oral and poster presentation and met new people. That’s wonderful experience, so I write about it.^^

This is jjambbong(짬뽕) which is Korean style champon. In fact, I never eaten champon yet, so I can not distinguish between jjambbong and champon. Anyway we can eat this at any Chinese restaurant in Korea.

Unlike common jjambbong, this one is very popular one. As you see, there are so many mussel, sliced pork and squid. And taste of soup is not oily even if there are many ingredients.

If you want to eat this, you can go to Gunsan city and find the restaurant named ‘복성루’. That restaurant opens from 10:30 to 16:00. I recommend that you should go to there early, because many people wait to eat this. We arrive at there at 10:20, so we could sit on a table. But other people who arriave late waited about 30 min to sit a table. Then you can understand that this food is popular.^^ – Google Maps

Rabokki(라볶이) is Korean food that is combined Ramen and Tteokbokki(떡볶이). Tteokbokki is made by boiling tteok, meat, vegetables, eggs, and seasonings in water. But Rabokki is added one more, Ramen noodle. In this picture, you can see that noodle that is raised by chopstick.

It’s hot and spacy, but with Gimbap(김밥) we can eat it easily. Anyway it’s delicious one. If you like Tteokbokki, then I recommend Rabokki to you.^^

I have spark mini car. In August 2011, I bought it a new car. After that, I just drive it between my dorm and lab. Distance between dorm and lab is about 7 km. Therefore total distance covered by my car is not many. And sometimes I’ve been to my home, in Busan, and Seoul. So total distance covered by my car is now 7777 km.

Anyway, my drive distance is also over 7777 km. Well.. then am I good driver… or not?^^

When I drove to my dorm, I just saw the something that is moved. At the first time, I think that is cat or dog. However its size is bigger than those. So I stare at it and firgure out that is kind of deer. So I just took several pictures. Above one is best shot. And also I install the Blackbox in my car. So video is recorded.

So.. Do you agree that it is deer or not? Someone said it’s water deer. Anyway I found it in KAIST campus!^^

It’s Japanese style Ramen. When I met my friend who works at SK C&C. He recommended it because this restaurant is good among the nearby SK C&C. It’s little bit spicy but delicious.

  There are many Japanese foods. So I drank the beer to ease my tongue.(Is it right? haha). Ah.. This restaurant name is 단뽀뽀 , and it’s located near the JungJa(정자) subway station.

It’s Galbitang(갈비탕) which is Korean soup. It contains stewing beef and other inredients. It’s delicious and cheap. It costs 6,000 Korean won.
