My lab member went to Seattle, WA USA to see the WSDM 2012. After she came to Korea, she gave a tumbler to lab members. She said it only sells in Starbucks 1st store named ‘PIKE PLACE MARKET’ where in seattle. However she has another version of tumbler that is published in 2009. This is published in 2011. It’s new one!

  In fact I don’t like coffee so I don’t know about Starbucks well. However I think it’s little bit unique one especially in Korea. So I am thankful to her.^^

  In this tumbler, there is a note to describe about it and a few tips to enhance the enjoyment.

  At the bottom of it, it’s made in China. Well.. in fact, several years ago, I’ve been to Japan. At that place, they sell several remembrance things. However it mostly made in China. So I felt it’s weird. That feeling was also apperaed when I saw this label.^^;

  It’s New Year’s Day. Suddenly sky is dark and it snows a lot. So I just took a picture to tell  it to friends. But… After I took a picture, it’s stop.

  But the temperature is lower than 0 Celsius. So ground is freezed. Therefore I just come back my dorm and watch the lecture video.^^

In thesedays, Burger King in Korea do event that if customer buy a whopper burger, then he/she can take one more.

  In fact, that event is related with social commerce… No, smartphone application, KakaoTalk. In this messenger application, I can make a company friend such as Outback, Lotte department store, etc. So if I made a friend with that company, I can get the information related with events, coupons, etc. Especially, Burger King send coupons very often and that store is located in my campus. Therefore I enjoy this.

  I don’t know that this service is existed other countries. I heard that many people in ther world use KakaoTalk to chat with his/her friends. I think this kind of service is quite good cause customers can enjoy the coupons, company can notice the its information or advertisement easily and KakaoTalk get money!(It means this service can keep going)

Anyhow I enjoy eating two burgers with one charge.^^

It’s fried chicken, and its brand name is BooR chicken. Its delicious one and cheaper than other brand’s one. I don’t remember exactly, but it costs about 10,000 korean won per one chicken.

But the most important reason that I ate it is Aug 13 is 복날. At that day, Korea people eat 삼계탕(Samgyetang) or 보신탕(Bosintang). Eating those soup, people can overcome the hot weather in summer season.

In Samgyetang, it consists of chicken. And I couldn’t eat Samgyetang at that time. Because I couldn’t find the Samgyetang restaurant. Therefore, I bought fried chicken rather than Samgyetang.

  This is 손큰피자. It is sold at Lottemart. Its diameter is 46cm! It costs 11,500 korean won. It’s cheaper than other pizza as same as size.

  Taste is well.. not bad not good. In fact, I don’t care about taste. It means that I just enjoy eating something.^^;;

  On monday, 8/29, 2011, Dunkin donuts store is open. It’s same building as my lab.

  So I just bought some donuts. In the picture, there are 12 donuts. It’s name is 12 mini donuts set. It costs 6,900 Korean won.

  In fact, I don’t like donuts. Because I don’t like sweet stuff such as donut, candy, etc. But professor and other people in my lab like it.

  It’s picture on the blackboard in front of enterance of dorm. Someone draw it and I think it’s good.

  But what the meaning of ‘Thx and keep going’? What’s keep going? I can’t understand it. OTL

  A bicycle that my friend bought it. When the semester was start, me and my friend want to buy a bicycle. So we went to bicycle shop in campus. The shopkeeper said, there are discounted it for freshman. It costs 200,000 won.

  In fact, at that time, I bought the bicycle in the internet.

  Nowadays, I drink a bottle of juice everyday. Acutally, not everyday, only weekdays. Every morning, deliver person come to my lab and give it to me or bring to front of door.

  Last friday, I went the party to celebrate the Trung’s marriage who is researcher in U&I Lab.

  At that time, we are taken several pictures. My alone photo are 2 things. At that time, I just drunk cocktail and beer…

  But why only pictures that I hold the beer? OTL Yeah.. Yeah.. I’m a cheap guy~^^
