Earlier in the week I received an email inviting me to a new party each week. I thought the idea was so fun I have decided to play along. It is called Good thing Bad thing. Each Friday I will sum up the week by writing one good thing and one bad thing. Here we go:

I just made a DIY version of Febreeze. This was a great Pinterest find. I tried it out. It was easy to make, with things you already have in your home and it took no time at all. I found it here. I decided to try it out today as Mondays are my big cleaning day!

Here is what you need:

1/8 c. Fabric softener of your choice

2 Tbsp. Baking Soda

Water to fill in you bottle

Mix and use!

I have something to confess. It is a little funny, a lot embarrassing and totally me. I learned how to ride a bike at the age of 32. My husband taught me, and my oldest when she was learning. Thats right folks! I still wiggle back and forth on a bike like a 3 or 4 year old the first time out with out the training wheels.

So naturally I didn't care, as I aged I started to feel like I needed to change my hair. I remember becoming aware of how big my hair could be and how few people I knew had "pretty" BIG hair. Today I did something that I found on Pinterest. My kids loved it! To tell you the truth I thought it was pretty great too. Living over here there are many kid foods that I was used to growing up that some of my kids have never even tasted. Corn Dogs would be among them. When I saw this in my feed this morning, I quickly changed our lunch plans.

This morning we were reading about Abraham and the place where faith and hope meet. In a situation that seemed hopeless he chose to hope and believe in what God had promised. Even though he couldn't see or didn't have a reason to he stood confident in hope. He lived in a posture of expectance waiting for God's promises to be accomplished in his life. He had this hope because he knew and

Hope Because We are Set Free

Today we were in Titus 2:11-14

We have an amazing God who has done so much for us. We can be confident that he will do what he says because he is who he is. How many times in the Bible do we hear him say don't worry I am with you? When Moses had excuses he said "I am who I am and I am with you"

Last night, I started to feel sick. I fell asleep on the floor in the Littles room. After waking up I moved to my bed and woke up hours later when I was startled. I was tired, had a sore throat and I had fallen asleep with my computer on my lap.

In the middle of the night my baby girl woke up crying. I could tell by the sound of her voice she probably felt similar to me. As you know I have been looking forward to today because it kicks off the Winter Challenge at Hello Mornings. This is my second time to participate in the challenge. It is also my second time as an AC. I love having the accountability and community that is built up during the duration of the study.

I love to read, and I have enjoyed it since I was a kid. I still sit up at night sometimes and write down favorite sayings and quotes I read. I loved Dr Seuss as a kid. As I read his books ot my kids I am reminded of how many great quotes come from his books. I found this little infographic and thought I would share it with you.

I have been feeling sick off and on for about a month now. Today I had a migraine so bad that my sweet daughter took care of everything. She made food for herself, picked everything up, later made food for me and my son after he woke up. I was able to sleep and feel a little better.

What a blessing to be able to do that! I just needed to brag about my big girl today!

One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to go to the Christkindlemarkts here. The smells of the season fill the air. It is always so inviting. Warm waffles fill the air with the smell of cinnamon and powdered sugar. There are many other amazing things to taste and smell but today this is the smell I am thankful for. It is something I recorded in my list today.
