Hello friends, my today's post is how to upload a template with simple methods on a blogger blog.Actually, new bloggers are finding it stressful on how to go with these process but to candid enough try and use this post as a process and see if it surely works and easier for you.

First Step
Download your favourite template, always come with Zip file so you need to unzip(XML) the template before making it uploaded to your marked blog.

Second Step
Am sure you now know where your template path leads to on your blogger blog, if not let me make it simple for you..Log in to your account blogger.com..You will this image

Click on a drop down menu near the third screen image above, then you will see this image

Click on template, you will be directed to another page where you either need to customize your already template or Editing the HTML.Anyway we are not dealing with that, just look above and you will this image again.

Click on Backup/Restore
This only help you to have a copy of your content, images, or comment in case you come with any problem.You will directed to another page which looks like this;

Oh you getting to the last stage. click on download full template as i explained before in order to get a copy of you content, images or comments.

Browse your template on your computer and click on the template you have already downloaded and extract to XML document.I think we are at the final stage, you will be re-directed to blogger again, in this case click on upload.

Now you can finally see your blog with gorgeous template.

Note:If you have not extract your template to XML document, then you wont be able to upload it because Blog is made of XML.

As always download a copy of your template
Now Find the code shown below using [ctrl+F] in your template.

I will be giving you two steps in adding a paypal donate button to your blog;

Without Signing in to your PayPal Account- Click Here
Click on “Create Your Button Now” Link. The screenshot for the same is shown below:

After clicking on “Create Your Button Now” link as shown in above figure, you will be redirected to a new window. In Choose a button type drop down list, Choose “Donations” . For understanding it better, see the below given figure:

Fill all fields carefully. In Organization Name/ Service field, you can use any name. If you are a part of organization, use the same. As far as Donation ID field is concerned, you can leave it blank.
Scroll down the Page and choose whether you want a fix donation from users or want them to decide the amount, they want to donate.
You can also customize the look of your Donate Button by clicking on “Customize text or Appearance” link.
Once done, fill your PayPal Email Address and click on “Create Button“. Everything is clearly explained in the below given figure:

After clicking on “Create Button“, you will get HTML code for PayPal Donate Button. Just copy it because we will use the same code in WordPress and Blogger.

That’s it. We have got the code. Now, we will use the same in WordPress and Blogger.

Log into the Admin Dashboard of your WordPress Blog by visiting http://www.yourblog.com/wp-admin
In Dashboard, Navigate to Appearance>>Widgets. The screenshot for the same is shown below:

After clicking on “Widgets”, as shown in above figure, you will be redirected to the widgets page where you will see lots of Widgets. Choose “Text Widget“. For understanding it better, see the below given image:

Now, Enter the Title of the widget and Paste the HTML code of PayPal Donate Button , which was generated by you in the above shown step. The screenshot for the same is shown below:

In the above shown figure, I have named the widget “Donate us“. Once done, click on “Save” button and enjoy.

Replace all the blue highlighted # tag with you site links.
Replace all the teal highlighted text with your menus text that you wont to show.

Am a blogger by profession and a blog designer which knows about HTML but little but still learning on HTML5. If you are a blogger and don't know those two's then am sure you are still not yet a pro in blogging.But it is also good for reading this post, because I will enlighten you more on what HTML is.There is a friend who told me that HTLM5 is good for SEO and others do the same but i don't totally agree with both, that's why i make this post.

What is HTML5?
HTML5 is a new version of HTML which is still in development stage. It is the fifth revision of the HTML standards. Actually, HTML5 is not very different from HTML4 and still follows the XML-presentation language. New PHP developers often compare.

As i said earlier, HTML5 now brought new tags like -<canvas>,<audio>,<video>,<source>,<embed>,<article>,<figure>,<nav> etc to simplify the tasks but it makes the coding more complex as well.If you already good at HTML, then it should be easier for you because it's mostly like HTML4.

I have read many blogs which they pointed out that HTML is better for SEO which i disagree because HTML5 brings new features and functionality which helps in both case . Out of all, some affects the SEO while others doesn’t affect it so you can’t say that it has only positive or negative SEO effect. 1. Page Segmentation feature or HTML5
All Search Engine companies are using smarter methods these days. They keep changing their sorting and indexing alogrithms on regular basis. However, they always use Page Segmentation for better indexing. If you are unaware of the term “Page Segmentation”, it is just another name of the process where a single page is divided into many segments or sections. For example- One HTML page can be broken down into a header,footer,article etc. Almost all search engines uses the same method i.e Page Segmentation.

2. Importance of New <article> tag of HTML5

HTML5 has introduced a new “<article>” tag which acts as a container for writing contents. It is considered one of the best tag for bloggers. SEO experts advise bloggers to enclose their main contents inside this so called “<article>” tag because Search Engines gives more priority to contents written inside “<article>” tag. It also reduces the need of using “<div>” elements.

How to Move a blog between accounts

Sign in to Blogger with Account 1, which we'll assume is the account containing the blog.
Go to the "Permissions" section under Settings | Basic tab.
Click the Add Authors button and send an invitation to the owner of Account 2, the account to which you'd like to move the blog.
Wait for the owner of Account 2 to accept the invitation. If you're sharing a computer, you'll need to sign out of Account 1 first, or each use a different browser.
Once Account 2 has joined the blog, Account 1 can sign in again and go back to the Settings | Basic tab.
Click the drop-down menu next to Account 2 and choose "Admin."
Click the X next to Account 1 to remove Account 1.
