The Mission 10 years

All Inn

The name of the label, All Inn Records, describes best what it really represents: all the good music of talented artists at one label. The first releases have great early feedback and support from djs like: Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, Rhadoo, Raresh, Nick Curly, Livio & Roby, Andrew Grant, Anthony Collins, Ilario Alicante, Italoboyz, Varoslav, Dj Wild, Kia and others. The business-cards were designed in a square shape, replicating at a small size a vinyl envelope. Front – white, back – black.

I Love Festival

Ellen Allien, Kevin Saunderson, Ed Rush, Sebastien Leger, Industrialyzer, Slyde, Deekline, Chris Simmonds were the international special guests for the first edition of I love Festival, a Romanian electronic and alternative music festival that took place in may 2011 in the natural ambiance of Paulesti Forest. Parazitii, ROA, Suie Paparude, Les Elephants Bizarres, Norzeatic, Toulouse Lautrec, The Moood, The Mono Jacks, CTC, Gojira, Marika, Optick, Kool, Pagal, Rosario Internullo are just a few of the Romanian artists that also played at this first edition of the festival. Cyclic

Cyclic is one of the most important dj booking agencies from Romania.

The agency books both local artists like Optick (Best Romanian Dj in 2010), Adrian Eftimie (Best Romanian Dj in 2008), Raoul Russu, Rosario Internullo, Mihai Popoviciu, Jay Bliss, Liquid, Mahony, NTFO, Proof, Sean Jay Dee, Zanga, and also on special request international artists like Markus Homm, Monoroom, Andrey Pushkarev, Izhevski, Gorje Hewek, Alex Flitsch, Surrealism.

The concept was to have all the information needed in one page with no scroll. For example in the same page for an artist you will find his biography, his discography, a calendar with both future and past events outlined, the last 3 mixes uploaded on SoundCloud, photos, videos, a press kit, his technical rider, his logo and also links to all his online profiles and accounts. The background is an abstract interpretation of the agency logo.

Nextime

Nextime is a fresh, new clubbing / electronic music portal. We started the logo from the 3 dots that form an arrow (which is now the symbol), pointing out the future, the ‘next’, and then we’ve build all the other letters based on the arrow / next symbol.Logo, website layout, magazine cover. Ego-AlterEgo

“Ego-AlterEgo is a visual exploration of good and evil in art”, an art and design related blog. “Ego-Alterego is the visual journey between the two sides of each of us and of everything, an exploration of the concept that good and evil coexist, constantly at war, within one person, art getting one or another of the sides revealed.” Logo, illustrations, web layout. The logo shows 2 E letters, stylized to look like 2 heads face to face smiling to each other while in the same time forming together a larger smiling face (half lighten, half in shadow).

The illustrations that accompany the logo in the Ego-AlterEgo’s identity and on the website / blog layout represent the fight between good and evil, the concept being illustrated with contrasts: fire dragon – ice dragon, sun – moon, light – dark, sun – clouds, sky-land, etc. The paper feel style was added to get them more in contact with the art/design theme that the website features.

Nights Awards ’11

This is the event that all the Romanian clubbing scene is waiting on the beginning of every year. At the ninth edition, the awards party recognized winners on 21 categories, the most wanted being the one for Best Romanian DJ in the year that just ended, this year won by Optick (Bogdan Moldovan). This award represents the fulfillment of that DJ’s success, both on the local and international scenes, where Romanian DJs have been more and more present in 2010. In order to rise up to the expectations from the musical point of view, the special guest of the night was the legendary DJ and producer Doc Martin. With hundreds of successful parties over the romanian seaside Kudos brand takes it to a new level and to a new season. From summer to winter, from the beach to the mountain slopes. Kudos Ice is now moving for the new year’s eve in a dreamy place, surrounded by mountains, slopes and nature – Poiana Brasov, one of the most popular winter resorts in our country, bringing together some the most appreciated romanian djs of the moment for a 3 days non stop party event (Rosario Internullo, Adrian Eftimie, Optick, Pagal, Negru, Kool, Markus Homm, Mihai Popoviciu) planning to to turn the party location in a permanent ski location after the BIG event. Transparent heated tent, outdoor party area, fake snow cannons, snow walls around the tent for outdoor projection, special ice designed bars and a lot of good music. Sounds great, right? Vika Jigulina is a Romanian music producer, singer and dj. Jigulina has made mixes with Steve Murrano, ATB, Tomcraft, DJ DOX, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, and other Romanian artists. She is the vocalist in the international dance hit “Stereo Love” by Romanian producer and musician Edward Maya, song that won the Billboard Music Awards 2011 for the Top Dance Song.

The concept of Vika Jigulina’s website was to have a flash dynamic webpage with animated menus and loads, music player, video player and a different full-screen video background for each of the website pages: news, events, releases, sets, bio, gallery, video.

The video was played under a pattern increasing the text and information visibility while also showing the artist’s logo in the middle of each page under the content.

Their name always guaranteed the success of a party and a great line-up, Carl Craig, Valentino Kanzyani and Moshic being just 3 of the big special guests this spring. ‘Love sensation Dj’s remember’ ‘Remember!’ and ‘Dj’s love nights’ had new episodes with djs as Kool, Pagal, Rosario Internullo, Negru and others. Kristal Glam Club, Studio Martin and La Mania remained the favorite locations for their events. Alex Niggemann, Bill Patrick, Ali Nasser and Kozo were special guests at the DjSuperStore 3 years anniversary. Also DjSuperStore became the main partner of Rush Afterhours events where every weekend the best romanian djs such as Rhadoo, Livio & Roby, Rosario Internullo, Pagal, Negru, international djs such as Andrade, Alex Niggemann, Shonky or the best newcomers Dan Andrei, Cristi Cons, El Cezere, Kozo played recently. Liberty Parade 2010

On the 24th of July 2010 on Venus-Saturn beach of the Romanian seaside takes place Liberty Parade, the 10th edition of the largest outdoor dance music event in Romania, meaning more than 12 hours of non-stop house music gathering more than 50.000 people in a street parade (in 2009 there were about 60.000 people attending the event).

This year’s special guests are the British trance music group ABOVE & BEYOND and also well known romanian and international djs like Dj Optick, Vika Jigulina, Dj Andi, Liviu Hodor, Christian Green, NTFO, Vali Barbulescu, Mihai Popoviciu, and many many others.

We designed the website layout based on the existing logo style, using green and violet lightning straws details. Liberty Parade 2010 website layout included the design of the homepage before the event, a live version of it and a homepage design for the after-event, a category page example and also an article page.

Below you can see the final artwork (the first one), 2 steps of the final result and a different concept done for this event. Under these is the beach banner created for this non-stop marathon party. Close to the hotels and everything you need, Kudos Beach is the place to be for unforgettable parties. Or incredible tan. Or both. Every weekend of the summer, Romanian and international Djs are making the beach too small for the party people that gather here from every corner of the world. Rosario Internullo, Kool, Pagal, Livio&Roby, Negru, Optick, Adrian Eftimie, Mihai Popoviciu, Jay Bliss, Markus Homm, Agnes, Eddie Leader, Luca Marano, Larsen, Alex Celler, Kreon, Simon Baker are just some of the guest djs that played here this summer. International DJ Lee Burridge noticed in an interview for beatport that Romania may be the next Ibiza. Branding project done for and under CerebralArt advertising agency. Below you can see a small case study containing the old and the new logo, a few of the final versions, the stationery design (letterhead, envelopes, business cards design) and the brand guidelines / the logo guidelines manual. Logo redesign, stationery, brand guidelines. Designed in 2008-2009.

Logo evolution: a. old logo used until 2008, b. a temporary 2008 update, c. the new logo designed by us, in use starting 2009

Variations: a few of the shape and colors variations / evolution that leaded to the final design

Stationery design: letterhead, envelope and business cards design. You can see a bit smaller the colors-services relation and also how the stationery elements look side by side with the design continuing from front to back (envelope and business cards) or side by side (letterheads).

Folder design: lighter outside and darker inside

Brand manual / logo guidelines / visual identity manual design contains the logo details and explanation of the concept, elements and the colors – services relation; the usage rules for the logo (accepted logo colors, background colors, black and white variations); technical details (components, sizes, special situations and forbidden usage of the logo); fonts to be used in the identity design; stationery design details (business cards, letterhead, envelope and folder) and an extra visual chapter with examples of graphics that can accompany the logo in the visual communication of the agency.
