The sheer volume of subjects about which I know nothing is eclipsed only by the vast quantity of things about which I think I know something but, in fact, actually know nothing. Ignorance, however, is bliss. Not so much in the traditional sense of being happily ignorant, but more in the pure joy of constantly discovering new things. The bliss of looking at things and asking, why, how, what, where – like a young child who looks at the world in awe. Some shockingly amazing things which I have recently discovered are:

• The internet will end on a beach with a hacksaw
• The inscription on the bell in Hay’s tower is…
• My lack of fashion sense is actually healthy (well if I was a hipster or a woman)

Therein lies the purpose of this irregularly updated (sure this first update took 4 months!) blog – to promote and advance the cause of random learning. Obscure facts, bizzare (logicial) tautologies and distinctly unscientific analysis shall all find a home here. Whatever happens to peak my interest or raise my eyebrow will be merrily documented and discussed in a series of disjointed word combinations with a smattering of inappropriate grammar (and unfortunate spelling).
