I have been travelling around Asia and Europe since high school and never in my mind I ever think of going to Myanmar. It was few months back when I saw a friend photos when she travel in Campadocia, Turkey, riding hot air balloon during sunrise or sunset -can't remember exactly- with bird-eyes-view of the land that impressed me immediately. From the Google search when I was searching about riding hot balloon air, articles on Balloons over Bagan appeared. Never heard about Bagan before and out of curiosity I click the articles and there was the start I found out about the awesomeness of Myanmar and immediately decided that I have to visit at least for the beginning Yangon and Bagan.

Take taxi / hired car to Bangsal Harbor

The price should not higher than

Rp200.000/car. We took the Innova car

The journey will be around 2 hours

With hired car, u can request the driver to stop along the way.

We stopped for lunch and took a beautiful sunset photo with the 3 Gili islands as the background.

No extra charge for that.

When arrive in Bangsal Harbor, head directly to this building to proceed for public boat ticket purchasing. Bangsal-Giri Terawang ticket is Rp10000/way/person

The journey is around 30 minutes

It is very cheap but you might need to wait till the boat full enough to cross the sea. We have waited for around 20 minutes till they have around 20 passengers filled up the boat

2 of my friends said that this cake is overly sweet. I do agree with them but if you know how to eat this cake properly, then you can actually subset the sweetness with the sour of the strawberry plus with the bitterness of the chocolate dipping. So, to get the unique sensation of this particular cake, you got to eat everything at once, -not whole cake at once-, i mean everything must be there for each bite. The best part is , when the cake actually melting once it inside our mouth. Yum yumm

Sweet and Yummy

Whenever you craving for something sweet but at the same time you want to have a meal that can make you full, this restaurant is the best option.

Introduced by Vidi, I felt in love with this restaurant since my 1st visit.

Cozy ambiance and well presented dishes make me feel so comfortable having dinner here while having a long chat with my friends. The pricing here is not bad at all.

Very affordable for such delight.

I was passing by Suki-ya when suddenly noticing a mouth watering smell of soup and when i saw inside the restaurant, it was full house and all the smoke is so dramatic ahhahahaha. Directly i decided to had dinner there.Yes, no second thought LOL

Called some friends who are in Mid-Valley mall and luckily they want to come to pavilion to have this steamboat dinner together. It is because i love to have steamboat with many people. Feel more alive and merrier also the non-stop refilling part is so much fun! This is how steamboat dinning supposed to be right?? ;)

Limited choices i would say

consist of few types of vegie and mashroom. The fishcake is premium grad with cheese inside, the boys loved it! some meatballs and the only seafood is clam :((

For that night, we only asked for beef and chicken.

For the soup, if i'm not mistaken there are 4 choices, but i only remember 3 which are kimchi, sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. The clear soup on the right side is shabu-shabu and in my opinion, this soup is a must to have. When u have enough enjoyed the Kimchi (spicy soup) or Sukiyaki (sweet soup), the neutral taste of shabu-shabu soup will balance out the food taste so that we can still continue to eat! trust me, it's work!

We stayed for around 2 hours and the whole time, none of us remember to took picture of the food while it on the pot. Directly after opened the cover, we attached the food as we all are super hungry at that time. it was almost 9pm already. So this is the only photo i have for our dinner hahahahah

Dessert: green tea and chocolate ice cream only

This is my 1st time trying the green tea ice cream, taste quite fun. still can't beat my favorite: yam flavor

Overall i gave 7/10 for this restaurant. The quality of the food is good but it so limited choices there for a buffet. For adult after tax, dinner will cost RM 46. This restaurant is located in Pavillion 6th floor, The Tokyo Street.

See this curros and its chocolate dipping?

Of course this restaurant doesn't serve curros,

we actually take away bought this on the upstair restaurant (forget the name),

still in Starhill and had it as appetizer ;)

We passed by the curros shop on our way to Koryo-Won and couldn't handle

our self not to bought it ^0^

Rice

1st round coming. I don't have any idea what we ordered as

i'm actually not a fans of Korean food.

But i know there is something called Kimchi there ^.^V

Main dish.

You can actually choose to barbecue your own meat OR ask them to serve directly

the cooked dishes. We chose to skip all the troubles barbecuing because we came quite late already and most importantly to avoid the smoke. ^0^

See the beautiful color of the beef and it seriously taste good and smell great

Bon Appetite

As a 5 starts restaurant, dine in here of course not cheap

It cost us around RM375++ if im not mistaken, but it really worthed i would say.

Even though i haven't been to a lot of Korean restaurant,

this will be my recommendation if anyone ever ask me

where to have Korean food.

Comparison won't be necessary once you know you have tasted the best!

and i do miss Germany food badly. Luckily in Malaysia we have quite alot of

This is one of my favorite restaurant in Pavilion.

Beside its comfortable and cozy sitting arrangement, the food all are presented nicely and of course taste yummy. It is a recommended restaurant for chillin' and have a heavy meal at the same time with friends.

Lately, I quite often visiting Sunway Piramid for some treatment with my friends

and its bean twice we had our lunch in this MOF (Ministry Of Food) restaurant.

The first visit was spontaneous when we were very hungry and the first

restaurant that we found were this restaurant. 1st impression was good!

For the 2nd visit, we came to had our lunch with

For a set of bento with seaweed soup, it cost only RM12 nett.

The normal price is RM 18.90 ++

I love the rice very much. Tender and sweet at the same time.

Royale Vietnam restaurant truly an Authentic Vietnam fine dining restaurant.

It have an awesome presentable food and it taste five stars.

The service excelent and the interior is classic with dim lighthing.

Came with three of my girlfriends.

The Appetizer: Flying dragon.
The dragon is made from carrot. You can eat it if you want. I did ^0^
The body comprises of prawn salad.

Main Dish: Beef in Bamboo

This is the best beef I ever had so far. I Highly recommended this one.

It smell so good and all the spices is well adsorb into the meat. Super Yummy.

Fried squib.

Crunchy on the outside but so tender on the inside.

You can feel that the squib is so fresh. I love the green sauce which come with this dish.

Soft Tofu in Oyster sauce. I'm not really like it.

Have to eat the tofu with the sauce, if no, then you won't taste anything.

Last but not lease here come the super cool desert:

Fresh cutting fruit + Ice cream + Chocolate sauce on Boat

It is so nice and cold and fresh.

After finish with the main dish we spent around 20 minutes to finish up this desert.

We were having a great chat accompanied by 6 type of fruits and 4 scoops of ice cream.

Wonderful ^0^

As it is a five stars restaurant, you can expect that dining here will be quite expensive.

The value of all the above inclusive drink and tax is around RM280.

But believe me, It is worthed. We really enjoy our girls' day out here.

We were heading to the Bak Kut Teh Restaurant, just beside Celadon

But suddenly Yunita wanted to have some tom yam soup and here we are ^0^

Celedon seriously have the best tom yam ever. Free refill for the soup, without the seafood of course :)

I love chicken pandan, but here it just ok. Not that fantastic

Sisca like this fried rice alot.

Wendy picked this mushroom tofu. It suppose to be with prawn but we requested it to be change with chicken. Had too much prawn for the last 2 days.

Been to this cafe yesterday. It is exactly the 1st cafe on the left side of the Tokyo street entrance in Pavillion.

This is the main reason for my visit: The hello Kitty Cappuccino.

This what I had: F1 Fettuccine with Clams and Mussels, Pasta with garlic and onion oil. The fresh pasta taste real fresh and the Clams and Mussels is well done. No fishy smell.

This is F5- Fettuccine with smoked salmon in Tomato cream sauce. It taste ok. The salmon cube is quite tick.

F3-Pappardelle with mushroom in spicy ragu sauce. It quite yummy.

Pappardelle with porcini and eringi mushroom in cream sauce, This is my favorite. the taste of cream sauce and cheese so strong. I like it.

However, I haven't try the F2. Maybe next time :)

Oktoberfest Party at The Tavern in the GAB Brewery

Oktoberfest is the most celebrated beer festival in Germany. It is an annual event that being held in Munich Germany. I was very sad before because I had to leave Germany in August and have no chance to attend the Octoberfest in October at Munich. Luckily I'm staying in Malaysia where most of the festive season are being celebrated in this country. So, via a Facebook contest by Octoberfest Malaysia my cousin; Fransisca won 4 exclusive invite to the Oktoberfest Party at The Tavern in the GAB Brewery. So, we went to the party and had tons of fun!!

Pretzel eating competition! it was really difficult because the pretzel is really hard.

Oh.. I miss bretzel in Germany; So big and crunchy but soft inside

We went home with two crates of beer. Sisca is so lucky. She won the invites as well as the lucky draw. Unbelievable!! Bagas got him self the Octoberfest Hat

We all were drunk alot that night. When I was in my Erasmus in German, they will call me KANTARE (In Czech means Drunker)!!! And this make me miss all my Erasmus friends and all the Beer Festival we ever been in Germany!!!
