Few snaps of pictures featuring some of scenery in Miri, my hometown...

Went to Bintulu last November to photograph Dhya's wedding which obviously haven't been shared in the blog. It feels so different to be in my mother-tongue land, it feels good to be surrounded by my own people.

If last time, I was so firm that I don't want to go back to Sarawak, to settled down or to work there, but I think I have changed my mind. Just see how 2013 treats me, and just see how far and great I'll go and perform in my new career with AIG next year. If it is worth of everything to stay here in KL, I'll stay. If not may be I'll just migrate back to my mother-tongue land. The reason why I stated my mother-tongue land is that, it is not necessarily to be back to Miri, there are 29 districts in Sarawak what. I can just place myself anywhere I want ;))) ...

Or maybe I'll put Sabah in the list too.

Fakhruzi & Aimi ... Solemnization.

It's kind of hard to compose my words here since you know... Um. I don't have to explain it.

Anyway here goes some of the pictures taken during Fakhruzi and Aimi's solemnization in Terengganu. As I mentioned in my previous blogpost, Fakhruzi and Aimi were married on one of the the most coolest ascending auspicious date, 10.11.12 ... And so, I am feeling lucky! ;)

Currently blogging from afar... Like far, far away...

Starting from today, I have decided to use my blog, as in 100%ly, as a platform or medium to feature my captures, and any related photography matters because I have came to the realization that I cannot commit on too many of advertising platforms. Take my Facebook page for example, honestly at the end of the day it goes unmaintained. Plus, as I grew older, I have less interest with Facebook. ;)

This blogpost embarks the new spirit of Nono Fara and her Nonocaptures. She will ensure to keep it updated with a lot of beautiful captures, composed in her own styles and ways, delivered in such beautiful melody, framed as a beautiful memory and story, that definitely and ultimately will captivate people’s hearts and make them happy! Ameen, insha Allah.

So, here goes the story of Fakhruzi and Aimi for your viewing taken in Terengganu on the 10.11.12 (such a lucky lovebirds to get married on that date!)... :) Will blog about their solemnization ceremony, and also reception later because I don't want to mix them all as I believe each event will loss its exclusivity when I do so. ;)

... Been knowing Fafa since we were both studying in UIA Matric PJ.. She then left UIA PJ to pursue her dream to be a doctor. Then... She met Umar lah, her fiance! ;D

She went to Miri twice, sekali with me during sem breaks 6 years ago and last year with her family. Yes, we both are more than a good friend and saya dah anggap Fafa and family macam family sendiri. I remember back in matric, her father gave me 3 bijik buah durian hantar sampai UIA. Cus he knows I love durian soooo much! And whenever I slept over at her house, her parents will stuffed me with lotsa delicious food. I love them... :)

Oh back to the engagement, it was held 2 weeks ago (and I shot lotsa engagement lah this year!). None of the pictures featured in this entry were edited one. Sebab saya malas. Hehe.. Sumpah saya tak edit langsung and fyi, total gambar yang saya ambik untuk wedding Fafa is only 150 shots and alhamdulillah all the pictures came out good and bermakna chewah! And yes, these are the so called engagement present from me to Fafa... :)

Last but not least, the over-over photographer of the day! I love you Fafa and congratulations for your engagement, you two! *pelukkuatkuat*

R & I's R-day stands for Rauf & Ilyia's Reception Day! :)

I have a lot of pictures taken on that day but those pictures are ordinary and cliche shots I normally took during a wedding but those I featured in this entry are extraordinary one well at least to me. They are my favourite and the group photos of the family members are my MOST favourite! It feels sooo family-rish! And I love them! :)

Most of the pictures were captured by Arif Ahmad because yours truly was so busy directing people and acting silly in order to get the so called desired shots with desired emotions. LOL. Thanks Arif!

Oh.. Another productive day for blogging activity I guess. Been blogging 3 days in a row. That's impressive! :P

To Rauf & Ilyia, have a blastful happy life filled with lotsa joy and laughters. Looking forward to see you guys on March for delivery of your photobook and other final products. Thanks so much for being superbly cool clients. God bless!

"... Trip to Palestine & Holy Land" - FH

Tengah kemas-kemas files dalam external hard disk and stumbled upon all these pictures and I think I must share them in this blog. Some interesting info I got from Kak Fadh during out short catch up last month...

1. Budak perempuan Palestine umur 11 tahun sangat cantik.. I saw a picture of a girl, and seriously sangat dewasa and jelita (chewah).. Kalau budak perempuan Malaysia umur 11 tahun masih comot and memang takde orang sudi nak kahwin. Hehe..

2. Bani Israel adalah dari keturun Nabi Ishaq (a.s). Ibu kepada Nabi Ishaq (a.s) iaitu Saidatina Sarah (r.a) yang juga adalah isteri kepada Nabi Ibrahim (a.s) adalah salah seorang daripada perempuan yang paling cantik (seperti yang di nyatakan oleh seorang Ustaz yang mengiku rombongan Trip ke Palestine). Selain itu, Nabi Yusuf (a.s) juga dari Bani Israel. Jadi kebanyakan keturunan Bani Israel dilahirkan cantik-cantik and handsome handsome... Ada satu tempat saya lupa kat mana tapi tak silap tempat tersebut tempat asal Nabi Ya’acob (bapa kepada Nabi Yusuf) and Kak Fadh ambik gambar perempuan-perempuan kat kawasan tu memang sangat cantik.

3. Wailing Wall (boleh Google sendiri) memang resemblance wall di Facebook.

4. Memang betul tentera Israel gali lubang bawah tanah dekat Masjid Al-Aqsa, Jerusalem and Kak Fadh ada ambik gambar lubang yang diceroboh oleh tentera Israel, sedih tengok sebab mereka hanya mampu pagar and kunci guna mangga biasa.. :( .. Mereka gali sebab nak bina Solomon Temple.

5. FYI, those in Palestine guna USD (majority), dan juga matawang mereka sendiri.

6. Buah-buahan di Palestine sangat gemuk dan besar... :)

7. Setiap kali waktu solat semua solat di Masjid Al-Aqsa. Masjid sangat penuh dengan jemaah... Sebab fadhilat solat di dalam Masjid Al-Aqsa sangat banyak.

8. Hebron dikenali sebagai Dead City. Keadaan yang sangat menyedihkan... Budak-budak berkeliaran mencari makanan. Bantuan makanan dan perubatan dari Negara jiran disekat. Pelawat yang datang selalunya akan membeli makanan di sempadan Jordan untuk diberikan kepada kanak-kanak Palestine selain daripada menghulurkan bantuan kewangan kepada penduduk miskin Palestine di Hebron. Sebuah Masjid di Hebro dimana terdapat Makam Nabi Ibrahim (a.s), Makam isteri baginda Saidatina Sarah (r.a.), Makam Nabi Ishaq (a.s.) dan isteri baginda serta Makam Nabi Ya’acob (a.s) mempunyai kawalan keselamatan yang amat ketat. Tentera Israel akan menjaga pintu masuk ke Masjid tersebut dan memeriksa setiap beg pelawat. Dipintu masuk masjid tersebut juga, pelawat terpaksa melalui 2 metal detector.

Banyak lagi interesting facts and stories about Palestine which saya ingat-ingat lupa and takut nak tulis sebab takut salah so below are some of the pictures yang diprinted oleh Kak Fadh.. And you can view more kat Fadhilah H Photography. :)

Life lately...

Still struggling to finish all the photography related matters and another 30% to go. Hopefully I can submit all the photobooks by the end of February for production purpose and deliver them to their respective clients on the second or third week of March. And here I'd like to apologize and thank my clients for being coorperative for the late/delay or what so ever I should call it. :)

Been thinking to start a business instead of working and have came out of one cool idea but still need more creative 'add on ideas' to make it real. I am on a quest to prepare myself and hopefully I am dare enough to take the risk. Super excited and scared at the same time... I have spent so much time reading a lot of books, articles, blogs lately about how to start, how to manage and most importantly how to maintain business which honestly doesnt sound easy at all. Ya Allah I want this becomes reality. And thank to those who I share the idea with - those who gave me some ideas and inspirations. I'll try to make all the moments richer and flavorable. *cough*

I bought complete novels & series of Sherlock Holmes and although I havent finish reading them but in my opinion Sherlock Holmes is the best masterpiece ever. And what I learned is that it is not necessarily to take an official course which is so technical when it comes to creativity. Take the author of Sherlock for example, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, he's a doctor by profession without writing background but still he can write superbly good and creative masterpiece than those who are from writing's background possibly can. The same goes for photography... :P

Faiz & Fida's engagement...

Supposedly this entry should be published two days ago as what I have mentioned in Nonocaptures but unfortunately I had this one unplanned dinner and sleepover at a friend's house, got carried away with the so called superbly therapeutic sembang-sembang session and I forgot that I've a promise to be fulfilled. Erk.

Urmm urm.. So, back to Faiz & Fida's E-day, I have these two words to describe them - awesomely awesome! The pictures describe it all... So, enjoy! :)

I need to select the least revealing shot and also the most decent shot to feature in this blog since S has requested me not to expose it excessively and obsessively, and therefore I need to respect it. However I have posted 4 photos of the engagement day in my FB-page called Nonocaptures. Yes I have setup a FB-page exclusively for my arts, products and captures. ;-)

I am not looking for a popularity, and I am not setting up the FB-page because of fame but rather than to have a proper place where I can interact with those with similar interest with me which is obviously photography! I was a bit inferior and scared to setup an exclusive FB-page for my captures at first and that's why I have decided to shared Color Warna with 2 of my friends instead.

Anyway, I just came back from Kedah for a solemnization of L & Z a week ago and I have a lot to write about it in the next entry! Stay tune.. :)

On the other note, I would like to express my highly apologize to those whom the pictures that I havent delivered yet, ... But dont you worry your pictures and final products will reach you. I will guarantee that. This crazy amount of works really limit my movement and everything seem to be so out of reach, and it left me dumb and numb, even 10minutes walks to the post office seem to be very far. (Aimi I am dedicating this to you) Whoops.

This is just a quick update. I’ll be back blogging for good with lotsa updates, insha Allah on the 15th of January! I am still in my exam period by the way… O.ov

So, these are my packages from January till Jun 2012 (may be…) or I might just stay with it till the end of 2012. We’ll see.

2011 Reflections

1) However difficult the situation might be, there’ll be always a way (at least) to resolve it.

2) I grew faster, stronger, and wiser. And most importantly I am still alive. Yey!

3) Jangan menyerah & percaya pada diri!

4) It is true, love comes when you least expects it...

5) Be thankful with all the shits that happened in your life as it made you a relevant and considerate person. Yes I am so thankful for that because I am becoming one. ;) Alhamdulillah.

6) Keep going. Even it takes you to crawl to reach the finishing line. Try. Try. Try. And if you failed, try again.

7) It’s never too late – it’s better late than never.

8) Sony Alpha brought me to where I am today. Through all these days with Sony, I am happy dan jauh dah saya pergi. ;)

9) I realized the importance of having saving and currently I am working on it. And I try to discipline myself to spend only on necessary things, mengelak hutang, mencuba untuk menahan diri daripada meng-upgrade dan menambah gears untuk sementara waktu kerana memang belum mampu.

10) I started to love gold! Hur hur hur… :D

11) Realizing the importance of balancing, and consistency to live a life however still unable to practice it or apply it in life. But I will keep trying, no worries.

12) Rasa syukur bertambah-tambah in the midst of hidup yang tunggang langgang, penuh malang kadang-kadang, dan lintang pukang because, Allah sent me some people yang sangat-sangat unlucky hidupnya (compare to me) but yet still happy.

13) What you see isn’t really what you get. Thus, what you see is what you get isn’t 100% true.

14) Dah malas berkias-kias. Kalau nak, terus cakap nak. Kalau tak nak, cakap taknak. Kalau suka, cakap suka. Kalau tak suka, cakap tak suka… Less stress, less mess. Oh, do speak up, voice out! Fight for your rights if you’re right lah kan…

15) You are responsible with your life. If you look for trouble, trouble you’ll get in the end. In addition to that, since you’re responsible with your life so you need approval of no one if you want to do something regardless of whom they are. Ask for opinion instead of approval. Approval and opinion are two different things. Or else, you’ll live other’s life and losing yours. Believe me. Terms and conditions applied, btw. Most importantly, jadilah manusia, jadilah orang.

16) Do what you love and love what you’re doing. Be good at it.

17) Ingat, rezeki Allah yang bagi, bukan orang yang bagi.

18) What comes from the heart will touch the heart.

19) Kalau rasa tak dihargai. Pergilah lari jauh jauh jauh dan jauh bawa diri. Mungkin rezeki, happiness, dan destiny kita bukan di tempat sendiri. Hidup mesti berani! Rempuh je hidup nie! ;D

20) Saya mintak maaf saya tak sempat bloghopping/blogwalking… Serious saya busy gilaaaaaa. But I will try to make time for you. Infinite thank you to those yang always come over, and compliments my works. The same goes to those yang sent me emails jugak… Thanks for the aspiring and inspiring supportive words and compliments. Thank you banyak banyak banyak. ;)

Today is a beautiful windy day! Oh, another blogpost… Second last for the year of 2011. The last one has been saved in draft, waiting to be published in 5 days time may be. It would be my 2011’s reflections as a whole. Tungguuuuu saja dong….

Just want to show you Nono Fara’s final products, the semi-official one since the official one would be in pink and I may upgrade it from time to time… I was just experimenting, and try to find out what colors, photobook styles and design, frames and packaging that really resembles me and reflects my style, as in when people look at it they’ll know its Nono Fara’s! Oh in addition to that, for sure adjustments and amendments will be made to my photography packages too! Ehem… I haven’t fully evaluate and update it yet so for those who send me inquiries before 30th December will be using the old one. No worries, the new one will stays reasonable. Hopefully.... ;)

So I leave you with some of the final products that are ready to be shipped out. Some are still in process and progress…

GTG… FYI, I am still in my pjs. Must hit the shower by now, and speed up to Shah Alam in 1hr time. Today is going to be my last shooting job in the year of 2011… Should be fun! :) Insha Allah… Wish me luck!

Insha Allah I'll have one special outdoor session with Fairuz and Wana this coming January or February. We were supposed to have an outdoor session after the reception however hujan turun dengan super lebatnya masa majlis resepsi. Grrrr.

Radin + Lubna

Honestly at this moment of time I am so grateful and thankful that I have an amazing job (err.. A part time job actually…) that really exhilarates and excites me – of cus it’s photography! ;) I can’t believe I’ve traveled a lot and returned with lotsa lovey dovey stories to show you in this blog.

Anyway, 3 weeks ago I was in Kelantan to photograph Fairuz + Wana’s solemnization and reception (which I will blog about it in the next entry insha Allah), and a week after that I was in Batu Pahat to photograph Radin + Lubna’s reception. I’ve just finished with the editing of their pictures, so yea it’s a ‘show and tell’ time!

The images shown below are not 100%-ly from my camera. Some are from Faiza’s and some are from Alip’s. Thanks Faiza! Thanks Alip! Thanks for assisting me throughout the event. You guys rock! ;)

Fairuz + Wana's Solemnization

On the morning of November 10th, I thank God I had this urge to double-check my email to check the flight itinerary. I thought that my flight to Kelantan will be on the next day (Nov 11th) but the moment I saw the email I was overwhelmed by extreme cuakness cus my flight is actually on the 10th, yes, on that day itself at 5.55pm!

Thank God it wasnt a morning flight or else there'll be a big chance I might miss the flight. Phew~ *sweat*

So yea, .. this is my second time to Kelantan to capture a wedding and of course I feel honoured for the opportunity. Thanks Fairuz and Wana! And not to forget to Wana's twin sister, Wani for introducing and promoting me to Wana. ;)

Faisal + Hanan ...

Wanted to write separately about their wedding and also their post wed session so that it wont mix up but I am afraid I'll end up taking so much time to write... So let's just wrap everything in one blogpost then. :D

Anyway, I just hand in their final products last Wednesday and honestly it was a moment of 'phewww'.. Meaning, I am done with one thing in my 'to-do' list and it is time to move on to the next one.
