Especially the support for the long running process support and the fact that it doesn’t need an X-Server server looks interesting.

Google Integrates Easily Filtered Recipes into Search [Recipes]

Google Integrates Easily Filtered Recipes into Search [Recipes]

Python 3.2 mit besserem Mechanismus für Global Interpreter Lock

Python 3.2 mit besserem Mechanismus für Global Interpreter Lock

PythonCamp Cologne on 16th/17th April 2011

PythonCamp Cologne on 16th/17th April 2011

40 Cool T-Shirts for Geeks

40 Cool T-Shirts for Geeks

Ram Rachum: Cool Python module: `uncertainties`

Ram Rachum: Cool Python module: `uncertainties`

Android über Google Talk oder Jabber fernsteuern

Android über Google Talk oder Jabber fernsteuern

Mark Mruss: Using Future Statements to Prepare for the Future - Planet Python

Mark Mruss: Using Future Statements to Prepare for the Future - Planet Python

Dropbox

Dropbox:
File sync between computers and mobiles.

Look at the samples !

I definitely going to give it a try.

Currently I only have one case where I really need it - at the moment:

Setting up my work environment after a reboot.
Because for this setup I estimate need around a quarter to half an hour to complete, I normally don’t shut off my computer - it is to cumbersome and to expensive to do this every day.
And sadly the normal hibernate doesn’t work for me because I use a lot of terminals where are dozens of ssh connections live in.

You maybe ask why the hell I need so much time to setup my workspace, so imagine this:
I have 4 screens with at least 4 different virtual work places which results in 16 screens which are all fully in use.

Diaspora: die ‘gute’ Alternative zu Facebook

Diaspora: die ‘gute’ Alternative zu Facebook

3sat Neues Special: Die Akte CCC

3sat Neues Special: Die Akte CCC

Issue 1 of "PET: English Translation" a Python magazine is out!

Issue 1 of "PET: English Translation" a Python magazine is out!

Some cool app links

Some cool app links

Dating-Website durchforstet Twitter, Facebook und Co.

Dating-Website durchforstet Twitter, Facebook und Co.

How to Synchronize Your XBMC Media Center Between Every Room in the House [How To]

How to Synchronize Your XBMC Media Center Between Every Room in the House [How To]

This Little App Went to Market, Part 1

This Little App Went to Market, Part 1

Error'd: CAPTCHA'd

Error'd: CAPTCHA'd
