Rum Diaries Part 1

2012-06-13T02:14:00.003+05:30

I was anticipating Najju Da to arrive to Hyderabad today evening, but he altered his plans, but I'd already made my plan to have a Rum party tonight, so here I'm with Banna Shekhawat, drinking on the tunes of Coke Studio (Pakistan..original one)... and obviously Purani Jeans from India.

on this instant Banna played Pehli pehli bar baliye from Sangharsh

oh ho I was lost in this song and now damn you Banna you played this god damn song

anyways we were having our Rum On The Rocks... then I stumbled upon my er what are theses called.. yeah sticky notes.. and I found something, a couple of lines, once a tipsy night, I tried writing.. all were not great but a few of these holds material, so I'm sharing here..

"kuch kehni hai unkahi baatein
puri karani hai kuch mulaqatein"

"hum toh aa bhi jayenge sanam...

hame toh bas ek bahane ki talash hai

sanam... tu na bhi mile woh mil jaye... lekin hum aa jayenge sanam".

"mera dill chahata hai ki tujhse har dinn milu

apane ankahe pyar ka izhar karu lekin teri..

gum hai ki kahi mera pyar tujhe khaak na kar de...

mai toh tadpunga iska mujhe ilm hai... agar tu bhi tadapi toh mera jeena bekar hai.(lol :D)"

"chahata hu tujhko kisi dusri se jyada.. yeh sach hai magar..

woh jyada slutty na nikal jaye kahi agar

tu kho degi mujhko... yaad rakhna yeh magar..

lekin hum tharki hai yeh bhool na jana.. agar ya magar."

Now Banna played the song from the epic movie Andaz Apana Apana

and we are on the brink.. So BottomsUP :D
Shabbakhair.....

Review : Chanakya's Chant

2012-01-31T14:50:00.001+05:30

I received a complimentary copy of Chanakya's Chant very few days after its release... Being an ardent follower of the Ashwin Sanghi, the author on Twitter, he send me one as a gesture of goodwill.

With an attractive golden cover, that fascinate you and drops a hint or two about the time and genre of this book, Chanakya’s Chant is spellbound read that make you get consumed in its world of 450 pages. The printing and typing quality is at par and beautifully comprehensible, plus you find the Chanakya's Chant hummed in your ears, a master strategy by Yell graduate author to release music and video teasers prior to his Novel.

Story of historic King maker Chanakya or the Kautilya told parallel to contemporary Pandit Vidhyasagar, who transits himself from being the son of a simple teacher to the power behind everything that happens in the country.

The author done a brilliant job by pulling together two eras of India's Polity into one book, both protagonists duals with world around in same pace, fighting tooth and nail and mastering opponents with ruthless and cold hearted tricks and with razer sharp brilliance. In spite of a huge gap of milenia between the two narrative Ashwin Sanghi keeps you indulged in plot.

Pandit Gangasagar - the modern day Chanakya, steers through and play his art to politics. The plots and events you can relate to present political scenario: Rise of a leader from rags to the helm of the power, sex scandals, horse trading of lawmakers, corporate and multi-million scams, rigging in polls, Dharmgurus and Tantric advisers and what not. All these multi-layered plot lines inspires awe and adds to the overall fun .

The novel starts on mild tone but as the introduction to the characters gets over it picks up the pace.

You can't help yourself but Marvell at protagonist's ruthlessness, the sacrifices they make in their life to achieve their final aim.

The style and tone of this novel is independent it keeps varying throughout the plot, The author have adopted a number of quotes from real life political legends to truly justify the aura of Protagonists; this is one of the things he acknowledged at the end of the book with references.

The ending of the novel is bit far fetched but can be digested looking at the trend of current political scenario of "anything can happen".

All in all it is a wholesome reading experience and make Ashwin Sanghi stand apart from the Chetan Bhagat genre of fiction.

I'll live in Banjara Hills one day...The Dreams Movies and STYLE!!! Its Hyderabad...

2011-10-23T14:47:00.003+05:30

So I'm at last at something, to do something that matter not just to me but to one and all, to make dreams into reality and to dream even more.
Handsomely welcomed in this land I stand mesmerized at the culture, the lovely sweet helpful and STYLE oriented people, the skyscrapers the flush buildings and material, that too to remind you that I'm yet to explore the old heritage city of Hyderabad.
The fan following Tollywood stars enjoy is crazy, people throng to cinema halls, once twice and umpteenth times, the posters and bill boards displaying their heroes in life size can make any one Marvell at their craziness, that too when I'm yet to visit temples of one of those stars.
I never knew I'll end up working in South, that too in Andhra Pradesh, the only place I dreamed to reside in south India was the town of Malgudi in Kingdom of the God, the Kerala, here is no Swamy but you'll find a Reddy ready in every corner, the Jesson M. John my 'pen friend' from Kerala is not here, I'll miss Bannas of Rajasthan but here I'll find many Annas every day, to take me to office on shared Auto drive, or refresh me with excellent innovative tea.
The Tea, the way they make tea here is the one I thought is my Brain Child, a good riddance from usual North Indian milk burnt tea; they call it Irani chai, so I can blame Iran for being copy cat of my tea.
for what I see from couple of my brisk to and fro journeys in this city, I find that here this lands provides ample opportunities for new start ups for everyone no matter what you want to do, if you have dedication and a vision you can make it large in this city.
The Biryani or the Hyderabadi Biryani is the ultimate shaan of the Hyderabad along with Charminar, as I'm yet to see charminara but after gorging umpteen dishes of Biryani, the Dum, Egg or Chicken, I must say I'm loving it, that to when I was the one who usually used to avoid rice in meals.Talking about food culture, Biryani is ultimate dish with number of yummy curries, no neither Rice nor Banana is sold cheap here, yeah non-veg dishes are quite economical as compared to Veg. one.
The shared taxi is one of the 'I'm loving it' type feature of Hyderabad, you can have economy ride at best comfort, but I must warn you these taxi wallahs are ones, who are crazy behind the Tollywood stars, so they imitates their actions and ride in that aura of that action packed cult only, at one step you'll think that you'd already run down by this truck on the other hand you'll thanking for good escape.
The music will be Ringa Ringa instead of Dhinka Chika yet you'll find 'Sheila ki Jawani' being played everywhere, the dubbed English movies channels now no longer talk in that "UTV Action's maa ki aankh" but they'll be aired in Telugu, obviously.
Another aspect of this city is the Cyber Fever, cyber towers, cyber mall, cyber city, cyber park and everything is there in this Hitch City, thousands of geeks working day and night on numerous projects, not only professional but also students dive in the ever flowing river of Techno-Gyan and Coaching available around here, you go for a stroll in evening in coaching city of Ameerpet here and you'll find lacks of pamphlets advertising different coaching programs carpeted on streets with inch of thickness... sounds like Kota, No?
So after so much of work and studies one need to relax, right? No problems at all, this city is full of hangouts where you can have the fun of your life time, pubs, bars, Hookah, spots and what not!
Now when I'm here, got a chance of working with awesomely motivated & dedicated guys here, I started dreaming again, sitting in my office at Kavuri Hills, I dreamt of Banjara Hills.

Cheerio folks :)

Review : Revolution 2020... Love. Corruption . Ambition

2011-10-19T00:40:00.002+05:30

The Great Indian Dream that's what this ~~yet another~~ new Novel of Chetan Bhagat is about.

serving to his mass "youth" fan following... for most of whom "Chetan Bhagat" is synonymous with "Reading"

Well he again tried to cash on the feelings of Indian Student, anyone who is following his news paper articles and speeches would find this novel highly predictive and deja-vu.

So he raised the issue of ~~arji-farji~~ non-elite Engineering and other professional institutes.... which are getting mushroomed everywhere, a love triangle around three average students of Varanasi... the holy city of India where people go to purge their sins in river Ganga, this novel talks about dreams, rational and practical acumen while choosing education and carrier alternatives, ambitions, love, friendship and most imposingly about corruption in education system.
The usual dose of sex and sensuality is missing a lil bit in Revolution but that is ok, Chetan Bhagat successfuly brought up the issue in his novel but this novel released or may be written late and was running behind the time.
the Revolution 2020 it talks about... is one we already going through, the Fight Against Corruption is already ON.
Like his Three Mistakes this book is too written from protagonist's perspective, where baring a few all other characters presented in shades of gray, Revolution stands no chance as compared to humor and originality of his Two States, the only laughs you can muster are those which brought up by your own memories of Kota days, yes it talks about Coaching, JEE AIEEE preparation and Kota, it gives you one of saddest feelings, the starting 100 pages it feels like some dementors are sucking your soul... but I guess that feeling will strike upon you by any honest mention of Kota Days.
All in all the novel is highly predictable and unrealistic, a must for hardcore CB fans and for those who wanna take a peek into Kota Days and want their throats get sucked up and dry :p

happy reading guys

Tyalor Swift British Henna(हेना) in India ;)

2011-10-06T09:21:00.000+05:30

One of side effects of post college and pre job life is that in the morning you have nowhere to go, college and work all starts by almost 7am, but when you have none to bother about you end up reading the morning daily with a large mug of tea, news is always as usual Manmohan or Montek giving new Hope-lines or Anna puncturing some corrupt wind bag and the usual sports stuff about team India flunking again or some corner mention about some Ajlanshah Cup.

But this all are usual stuff, right? So they can’t be calling for attention, rather what seeks my attention is funny advertisements in the paper, no I’m not talking about those one in times.. times boast of most bizarre ones.

Henna read ‘हिना ’ the natural die… the natural die… You all know what it is c’mon everyone uses it in one way or the other.

So now this particular add tends to catch my attention

Nopes no problems with Blondes or but yeah it do remind us of a couple blonde jokes though… which we can easily paste on Santa or Banta when our audience is unaware of presence of blondes in this world (blonde!!! Yeh kya hota hai… leave), rather it kicks my curiosity and no it’s not my dog's name(my father hates Dogs)… it’s the intriguing feeling that How come Taylor land up in Britain and have I ever seen British Blondes?

after days of watching her curly locks teasing and tempting me to dye my ever increasing Gray ones… I decided to google it, and bingo she isn’t a Briton, I cursed the this Henna product then the news papers and continued my sulking after all its me who've this problem with hair… they are freaking going gray and these advertisements with fake credentials can disappoints any one.

I’m sure everyone would have got tempted by and then cursed one of these adds below…. See I’m not saying anything about these… because I know you all Know what I want to say.

Happy Morning Tea

All work and no play makes Jack a Jobless boy

2011-10-04T16:57:00.001+05:30

What IITs actually doing to us?

Here is what happening now a days…with this Join IIT and Engineering fever which is running down with everyone, I was used to amused at it when it was happening in the urban areas but now not anywhere else but in The Hinterland of Marwar… the rural India ~~or rahul gandhi’s other India~~??? No way!!!

My Brother called upon yesterday as his unit was organizing recruitment for Indian Army under sports Quota, the qualification is that the applicant required to be under 19-21 and must be holding a State level Sports certificate.

As he asked me if I know anyone out there, so as to inform them about this so they can get an opportunity to join Indian Army… but surprisingly my answer was No, that means I was too shocked to realize that I know nobody who holds a state level certificate despite of me hailing from a Martial race, where Sports is must, but… no one at all in my knowledge taken up sports in school time.

I was not ready to accept this so I called upon my cousins and folks if there is someone in their knowledge who is into sports… but again that was a even bigger shocker, No one absolutely no one!!!

Then I realized where the problem lies… Most of guys here after completing the secondary and some with highly ambitious parents right from their 8^th standard get pushed to shun Sports and games to be marooned in the huge books of science and mathematics ~~the PCM and PCB ki mcbc~~.

This results in that, between School, homework, tuitions and forced self study there was no time for Jack to play.

So this Geekization of Jack resulted in what??

No, He didn’t lend up in IITs or some big shot professional Universities … no sir not at all.

They all end up in local professional (shame) colleges … where they end up wasting their money, their talent and brains…. And if that was not enough the icing on cake is that they all are Jobless and know no way out of this deadlock of rejection.

Its not that these concerns are new… these are age old woes of students that what they get is only a raw deal from parents schools colleges and then from the Job providers.

I just hope that people specially parents will realize this flaw in entire Education system and prepare their kids accordingly. Its high time they wake up and think about it and don’t let it happen otherwise “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”

Here I'm again to say things which meant for every being...
I know its been long but what they says "its everyday a new day".
months of dilly delaying, doing nothing but just fool around can have grim effects on any being.

For me it was like long hibernation period... like an abandoned place get dingy and smell of cobwebs, my mind now complains of shit and rust.
for this time being I was being taken and broken into many a trusts.
something in me not sure of the real taste of love.
I tried to grasp the forbidden fruit but alas it was only forbidden and I was no good at being the cupids recruit.
all my enabling was to conquer their love and trust but the fate mired against me was fatal...left me in total disgust..
now I'm standing here holding the ever weakening flame of something that is called love.
alas a storm is inevitable... so here I'm musing on my options... Run for cover or let the flame vanquish.
for only I know its an agony whether it survive or not.
and in the end only I'll be there all lost and no where to go,
for then there'll come the devil telling me I told you so.
A noble me, can't let this imp persist, will throw open there doors for some angel to descend
but oh my loony luck, the guiding angel in my stars is none other than this Cupid the Godly pornstar..
sparing all it'll give me deadly stung, his arrow and my hearty blood.
it will nosh me to someone's lust again,
just hoping to survive again.

The Valentine Heart

2010-02-25T22:58:00.000+05:30

Today I saw the strangest dream of my life……… I’m calling it strange because at this age I’m supposed to do romance with hot and beautifull babes in my dreams, but my dream was oriented around Mali Sir, of course there was love in the air as usual in my dream.
So it was like I was sleeping up too late in the morning and I saw the Dream
The Dream
We were in college in my LT… all ITians and we were having free time as most of lectures were free pertaining to shortage of faculty and engagement of students and faculty in their back and M.Tech exams respectively… we were discussing the essence of Valentine’s day and as that was chocolate or Hug day or something.
As we were all IT section are no. trout in the college and sort of rebels we were in SUPERHERO costumes mostly from WATCHMAN movie,
Then we hear that Mali sir is on the round and he is punishing and doing sort of his stuff with people students who are not in Proper code and at proper place.
So we done the thing everyone supposed to do when Mali sir on the round …. To get out of his sight and reach. We took shelter in an abandoned tutorial it was quite cut off from main building sort of perfect for hiding.
So we were having fun in there and some of us opened our laptops and started browsing internet through College’s newly installed Wi-Fi… In my Ymail Inbox there was a new mail and sender was highlighted as S. R. Mali, I admist of shock curiously opened it and was the most heartening mail I ever read.
The Mail
Dear Students
Wish you a very lovely and happy Valentine’s Day…
May your mutual love blossom and lead all you to a very very successful life ahead…
Keep loving
Yours loving
Prof. Mali.

There was a glittering animated heart in the middle.

I was shocked by reading this and out of enthusiasm took out a coloured print out of the mail (dunno from where I got printer in there)
I showed the mail each and everyone they I found the same reaction from them as mine and they all started cheering and hooting about it aloud (IT batch love to hoot) , and suddenly we seen Mali Sir entering in the class, probably hearing all chaos he found us.
Mali Sir in the class and I was standing there holding the mail… The 3D Valentines Heart glittering across it, I enquired him about the mail with mute gestures as like asking for the authenticity of the mail, but he smiled calmly and stepped forward and addressed us.
The Address
Dear Students,
It might be hard to believe for you but that sender of that mail is Me, your teacher, I conveyed my wishes to you so that you can understand the essence of love in your life, love is not all about being in a relationship with a spouse, but it is more than that it is ultimate devotion, respect and gratitude towards whoever you love, may be parents, grandparents friends and teachers any one.
(and lots of his talks about discipline and dress code, but this time the Professor was all different and a lot cool and rational…. I just loved him in that Avatar)
Happy Valentine’s Day
Love for all
Thank you…

And I wake up with a start to find it was 25th and I was flat on my ass sleeping out my fatigue of tiresome college hours.

Hope you all Liked our new Teacher.
Love you all
Dev

Encounter with self

2009-09-12T20:27:00.000+05:30

Sometimes when we are alone sitting in our room; in company of no one but our thoughts. Do you ever thought long and hard about your life in the college and career after that? The thought “I haven’t still clearly decided what I have to achieve and do.”, does it pains you?We all have a plan to become something in our life, but it will require a lot of hard work and complete devotion, shall we ever able to do so?I think it’s high time we come out with some answer to the above question, so let’s start thinking to get ourselves out of all worldly needs and concentrate on the reality, the thing is that some of we are turning out to be branded losers and I really hate that, we should set the priorities in our life, all those who says that “enjoy your whole life in your college days” are liars they just want to spoil you, never believe them. Your life is yours and you solely accountable for it.So I think it’s high time when we firmly decided that gone are the days when you had time to waste around, now you have to act. Open your eyes to actual world, behave in the manner exactly a professional behaves, go ahead and grab every opportunity, be kind to everyone but yourself, suffer the pain you feel when you see your friends having fun and you locked up in your room, swallow the pain, make your pain your ultimate motivator, harness that pain to cultivate the crop of hard work and one day when your “enjoying friends” yields, you yield the harvest of success.Success never comes easily you have to burn and endure the bruises of loneliness and monotony, but the success earned once will make you the centre of entire world, everyone will walk and talk about you, they will be more than willing to be friend with you, the calming and soothing joy you feel that time would be nothing compared to the frustration oriented joy you feel while pursuing love {guy or gal} in the college life. Take the example of Boxer Vijendra Singh, the Olympic Medalist and world no. 2 ranker; he was nobody before he tasted success, but now every Indian is proud of him, how he achieved that? you probably know how, he gone through tough schedule he worked hard, he sweated and sweated to make his moves strong, the pain he endured while punching a punch bag filled his punches with deadly strength, nothing but his hard work made him a “Knock outer” not only of his opponents but also of gorgeous women’s.So friends hard work is what you should really give a thought about. Go ahead grab it, entire world is yours.

THE ASPECT OF BHIMA IN MAHABHARATHA

INTRODUCTION

In Indian magnum opus The Mahabharata, taste of innocence, fun and of highest brute are mentioned with the name of The Bhima, second eldest of mighty Pandvas, born to Kunti by the grace of Air God the Pawan Dev. Bhima is the testimony to physical strength in the epic. Vedavayasa, the writer of the great epic has beautifully described impulse, aggression, and strength, in the character of Bhima. “The strength of his arms, equal to ten thousand elephants” says the writer. His legendary prowess has been mentioned in glowing terms throughout the epic. Eg: "Of all the wielders of the mace, there is none equal to Bhima; and there is none also who is so skilful a rider of elephants. On car, they say, he yields not to even Arjuna; and as to might of arms, he is equal to ten thousand elephants. Well-trained and active, he who hath again been rendered bitterly hostile would in anger consume the Dhartarashtras in no time. Always wrathful, and strong of arms, he is not capable of being subdued in battle by even Indra himself."

BIRTH AND CHILDHOOD
Kunti was the Empress of The Mighty Kuru Kingdom and wife of King Pandu. Pandu was living a austere life with family in forest amidst the hermits.
In Pandu’s absence the kingdom was govern upon by his blind elder brother The Dhritrashtra who was very selfish and ambitious for his own sons.
After the death of Pandu when his family returned to their Kingdom to reclaim the throne and home, then it was not taken humbly by Duryodhana the spoiled and eldest son of Dhritrashtra, Dhritrashtra who wanted the throne for his own son differ the coronation of Prince Yudhistra the eldest of Pandavas with malicious advise of his courtiers like Shakuni, Kanik.
Duryodhana who was never able to come in term with Pandavas and accept them as Brothers and future kings always nurtured a deep hatred for Bhim, as Bhim was only one believed to pay in same coin. Bhima is also infamous for having sown the seeds of hatred between the two collateral branches of the Kuru family by mercilessly beating up his cousins, almost unto the point of death, during his childhood. In vengeance of all these Duryodhana once tried to kill Bhim by poisoning and drowning in the River Ganga but there he was saved and blessed with mighty power of seventy elephants by his maternal uncle who was a serpent King and ruled underwater.

THE ELIMINATOR OF DEMONS
Lord Krishna deployed the great might of Bhima in the execution of the evil demons who were a threat for the civilians. After escaping the conspiracy of “Lakshagriha”, the inflammable palace built at city of Varnawata where Pandava family was lured to stay by Duryodhana, they went to forest fearing more attacks from Duryodhan and his cronies. There he came across Hidimba and Hidimbi a rakshasha brother and sister. Because of the enmity of the rakshasha to the people of the Kuru kingdom, Hidimba asked Hidimbi to lure Bhima to a trap. However, Bhima and Hidimbi were attracted to each other. Bhima fought and killed Hidimba, and lived for a year in the forest with Hidimbi, by whom he had a son, Ghatotkacha , Hidimbi retired to the life of pilgrimage and spiritualism with her son, here after Gatotkacha was married to a Demon princess resulting in entire two sects of demons accepting the civil life
After this The Pandavas with their mother went to the village of Ekachakra in the disguise of brahmanas , begging their food in the streets and bringing what they got to their mother, who would wait anxiously till their return. If they did not come back in time, she would be worried, fearing that some evil might have befallen them, and then Kunti would divide the food they brought in two equal portions. One half would go to Bhima. The other half would be shared by the other brothers and the mother. Bhima, being born of the Air god had great strength and a mighty appetite.
Vrikodara, one of the names of Bhima, means wolf-bellied, and a wolf, you know, looks always famished. And however much it might eat, its hunger is never quite satisfied.
There he killed the Demon Bakasura a cannibal who used to eat a human, two bulls and hoard of stores every week according to his deal with villagers.
After the partition of the Kuru empire in Hastinapur ruled by Dhritrashtra and Indraprastha ruled by Yudhishthira , here Krishna adviced Yudhishthira to perform Rajasuya yagya, but at that time most of the Kings were either imprisoned by Jarasandha The King of Magadh or were ruling under his duress. Jarasandha was a half demon half human he was having evil boon of a convoluted way of death so Krishna decided take Bhima and Arjuna with himself to execute upon the Jarasandha.
They entered the kingdom of Magadha and arrived at the capital of Jarasandha. Jarasandha was disturbed by portents of ill omen. To ward off the oncoming danger, he had propitiatory rites performed by the priests and himself took to fasts and penance. Krishna, Bhima, and Arjuna entered the palace unarmed. Jarasandha received them with respect as their noble bearing seemed to indicate an illustrious origin. Bhima and Arjuna made no reply to his words of welcome because they wished to avoid having to tell lies.
Krishna spoke on their behalf: "These two are observing a vow of silence for the present as at part of their austerities. They can speak only after midnight." Jarasandha entertained them in the hall of sacrifice and returned to the palace.
It was the practice of Jarasandha to meet noble guests who had taken vows and talk to them at their leisure and convenience, and so he called at midnight to see them.
Their conduct made Jarasandha suspicious, and he also observed that they had on their hands the scars made by the bowstring and had besides the proud bearing of kshatriyas.
When Jarasandha demanded the truth of them they said frankly: "We are your foes and seek instant combat. You can choose one of us at will to fight with you."
After acquainting himself as to who they were, Jarasandha said: "Krishna, you are a cowherd and Arjuna is a mere boy. Bhima is famous for his physical strength. So, I wish to fight with him." Since Bhima was unarmed, Jarasandha chivalrously agreed to fight him without weapons.
Bhima and Jarasandha were so equally matched in strength that they fought with each other continuously for thirteen days without taking rest or refreshments, while Krishna and Arjuna looked on in alternating hope and anxiety.
On the fourteenth day, Jarasandha showed signs of exhaustion, and Krishna prompted Bhima that the time had come to make an end of him.
At once Bhima lifted him and whirling him round and round a hundred times, dashed him to the earth and seizing his legs tore his body asunder into two halves.
And Bhima roared in exultation. The two halves at once joined and Jarasandha, thus made whole, leapt up into vigorous life and again attacked Bhima.
Bhima aghast at the sight, was at a loss what to do, when he saw Krishna pick up a straw, tear it into two, and cast the bits in opposite directions.
Bhima took the hint, and when once again he tore Jarasandha asunder he threw the two portions in opposite directions, so that they could not come together and join. Thus did Jarasandha meet his end.
The captive princes were released and Jarasandha's son Sahadev was crowned King of Magadha. And Krishna, Bhima and Arjuna returned to Indraprastha. With Jarasandha gone, the way was now clear for the Rajasuya which the Pandavas performed with great pomp and splendor. Yudhishthira assumed the title of emperor.
He killed Baka (head of a cannibalistic race which used to eat humans). Krimmer, Bakasura’s brother challenged Bhima in hope of taking revenge
Of his brother’s death challenged Bhima during their exile to kamyaka forest. The great Bhima killed him, relieving the sadhus of the forest who were terrorized by the Rakashasha.
Apart from these he killed and dueled with many Demons like MaNiman (leader of the anger-demons in Kubera's garden).
His son Gatotkacha who was living a pious life fought in favour of Pandavas in the Battle of Kurukshetra.

THE LOVE AND MATRIMONIAL LIFE
Besides Hindimbi Bhima had three more wives. With his brothers, he was married to Draupadi,Who was the daughter of Drupad the king pf Panchal kingdom, Arjuna the Archer won her in the Swayambara but due to the accidentally ordered words of Kunti they all had to marry the Draupadi, hence all pandavs wedded with Draupadi.
The portrayal of Bhima's commitment to Draupadi is unblemished in the original Mahabharata,
He was furious when the game of dice between his brother, King Yudhisthira, and Duryodhana reached its final stages. But when Dushasana attempted to strip Draupadi in the court, he swore that he would kill him one day and drink his blood, later in the war of Kurukshetra he kept his words by murdering Dushasana and drinking his blood, eventually he also killed Duryodhana by attacking his thigh unlawfully in their duel only to keep his vow in their at last battle at the pond.
Bhima’s possessiveness for the Draupadi also surfaced during the time of the exile when all Pandavas were busy in preparation of war and she was staying with Bhim, he saved her from the evil hands of Jayadarth and punished him severely, he just spared his life as he was husband of her cousin Duhshala, but highly humiliated Jayadarth vowed to take vengeance against Pandavas, later this incident turned the main cause of the death of the young Abhimanyu.
Bhima taken it as his sole duty to fulfill every desire of Draupadi, to abide by this he brought her the exotic and mysterious Saugandhika plant passing many hurdles rendered by Demons and Yaksha
And at the time of their secrete exile in the court of Virat, it was only Bhima who rescued her from the clutches of her tormenter the Kitchak, The army general and brother in law of king Virat, Bhima killed him at midnight by luring him with the help of Draupadi after this no one dared to trouble Draupadi as the rumour evoked that she has some mysterious Gandharva paramours.
Later she gave birth to a son by Bhim by the name Sutasoma. The child that Draupadi bore to Bhimasena was born after Bhima had performed a thousand Soma sacrifices; he came to be called Sutasoma. Bhima also married Valandhara, the daughter of the king of Kasi, he offered his own prowess as dower and begat upon her a son named Sarvaga. Chedi king Dhristaketu's sister was also wedded to Bhima

THE LAST BATTLE
Bhima was one of most important character in battle of kurukshetra. He alone himself killed six out of eleven akshaukinis which further dignifies his physical strength. He also defeated mighty Dronacharya by breaking his chariot eight times while Arjuna was trying to find and kill Jayadratha, defeated and forced the powerful Karna to withdraw from battle in four pitched battles while Karna was trying to save the remaining brothers of Duryodhan. During the battle, he killed the elephant called Ashvatthama, which enabled the Pandavas to spread the falsehood that Ashvatthama son of Drona, had been killed. At the end of the battle, he also fatally wounded Duryodhana in a duel, after striking him a foul blow below the waist. At this time, Balarama criticised Bhima for the foul blow, but was calmed down by Krishna. Bhima refrained from killing any respectable elders in the Kaurava's side out of respect for their virtue. The only elderly person he killed was the king of Bahlika (Bhishma's maternal uncle) - and he does this because the king of Bahlika asks Bhima to kill him to release him from the sin of fighting for the kauravas (Bahlika had to fight with the kauravas on account of Bhishma, his nephew).
At the end of the Great War when Duryodhana found no one to fight for him, the coward escaped from the battleground and lurked inside an enchanted water pool
But the Pandavas were there with the motive of keeping no issue alive found out him and challenged him for the duel after much provocation from the Pandavas, Duryodhana came out of the enchanted pool n all rage and accepted the challenge of Pandavas and opted to fight with Bhima and hence, the strife began between Bhima and Duryodhana. Sparks of fire flew when their maces clashed. Duryodhana and Bhima were equal in strength and skill, and the battle raged long, and the issue hung doubtful. Those, who stood watching, were debating as to whom would win. Krishna said to Arjuna that Bhima would keep the oath he swore in the Hall of Assembly and smash Duryodhana's thighs. Bhima heard this and, at that moment, the memory of the great outrage came readily to his mind.
He leaped like a pard and came down with his mace on Duryodhana's thighs and broke them and Duryodhana fell heavily on the ground, succumbing to death.
Bhima jumped on the flat body of his enemy, stamped on his head with his heavy foot and danced a terrible dance. He was looking like a fierce beast when he danced like that. Vedvyasa has beautifully and very cleverly described the explosion of emotions by Bhima on his triumph. This is a testimony to the Vedvyasa’s deep knowledge of human character behavior.

He finished his days with his brothers and Draupadi, on their great and final journey toward Vaikuntha. He was the last to die on the journey, leaving Yudhisthira alone to complete the journey by himself.

The White Rose

2008-10-22T22:36:00.000+05:30

Prologue:
This little bit of poetry underneath, is based on a memoir from my classmate, who is a typical boarding School girl, she told me about her early boarding school days, when her seniors used to take her as escort on their way to meet their boyfriend on a hill station.
And there, she told me that she met a guy of her age been there with the senior boys as escort and how she presented him with the beautiful white rose, found only at the bottom of the valley to break the ice…although only on the advice of senior girls.
Later the rose blossomed in blooming friendship. Anyways that was her point of view but then I thought what would have been “guy’s views about the whole incident”, so a poetic me compelled to trace out all the feeling and mentality of a 12 year old boarding school boy, and here I present “The White Rose” all in my words….

The White Rose

On the mountain hillside
the innocence they hide
In his wide brown black eyes
There was a longing to imitate
those thuggish Romeos
May be under orders but he was
there on demand
Both from seniors and his lusty heart,
Keeping a watch out was his task
Truly very humiliating it was
But the little in need of
unveiling mysteries of Kama
left with doing nothing but be
the part of sensual drama.
Bit bemused bit blushed learning
different arts of love making,
On the mountain hillside
The yearn he hide
Watching all cuddling
fondling couples
Yep it was an yearn to have a
partner in that dark and
flowery hillside
Then one day the yearn seemed to be satisfied
on the arrival of a beauty with wide black eyes,
On the task same as his
But alas words exchanged
were only hello and bye both
there smirking and shying.
On the mountain hillside
the innocence they hide.

In side the dormitory at the hill upside
there was a cackle of bragging in the
session of recounting the adventurous night.

The boy’s boast:
They cuddled and snuggle
in the night of mist
Smooches and fondle
send my mind in twist
It was all so absurd
First seemed to be wrestling
all humping and thumping

Then there was she looking
hot in her florid skirt
My angst for a company satisfied
In the cupid’s take
I found my Conscience at stake,
Lured by lust we bowed Love God first
On the task of guarding some sinister work
no shy but only devilish mind’s work,
We driven closer and closer
I was feeling her heartbeat
thumping at a fast pace,
I knew I wouldn’t be a looser in this race.
In my embrace wearing sweetest smile
that easy girl said, she is mine.
Day break advised us to depart
unwillingly we dispersed but
only with the promise to meet again.

On the mountain hillside
the innocence they hide
In the dark again smirking
the desperate eyes asking
when the girls will arrive?
This unease of not having
something was weird but only to
him not to the seniors backstage.
Theirs was custom to linger
for the exotic white roses
presented as love symbol
from the girls hill down side.
Yes she was there as watch out again
knowing it as right time to bargain
the love or lust whatever inside,
hello was a more fine starter
but the most delicious dish comes here after:
The White Rose in her hand
the broad smile on visage,
Inundated with emotions he accepted the flower
lost in chitchat it was a new chum to discover.
Heavy in heart but they had to depart
because its morning’s turn to play its part.
Alas! on the mountain hillside
The innocence they hide.
In side the dormitory at the hill upside
in the meeting the bragger was gone
it was a new Romeo born.

my first complite verse

2008-07-07T20:15:00.000+05:30

Prologue:
Dear friends its been a year since I'm in JIET and I really enjoyed it a lot but as u all I was too a fresher 12 months before, There were many gals not Much{do hell 2 gals college} but that was fine, ya here I want 2 share wid u the gal wid whom I got infatuated to the edges of Madness In starting I stalked her and then later just watched her at my best chance, I saw her first when she came in My LT asking us 2 participate in Fresher's Day; What a pearly white and adorable she was, she was senior to me but I got my soul stuck wid here she was in 2nd yr, I later came 2 know about it. But I just followed her my all senses shut and mouth wide open and agape up to her LT-2.then I watched her quite often in breaks but never had daring 2 face her and Talk her But a poetic me I drafted MY Truest Feelings 4 her in the form of poetry which I'm sharing wid u.

Love! ?
I don’t know… but…

A few words that’s what I want
Idea of failure that’s what I haunt,

“I like you,
I love you,
Or I am infatuated with you.”
These are the words I want to express,
But a modest me, keep them unexpressed.

For what I praise your beauty,
You are in yourself a deity.
When you walk the path boasts of charm,
That’s the eternal bliss, keeps me warm

I don’t know the day when I saw you,
But haven’t seen any else, the moment I felt you,
Don’t know why?
I wonder, what time a quest cover,
But mine was over.
That was the first time; I felt it prevail,
The love, to whom I over sighted; now stands my avail.

The sight of yours, O charming
Drives me lucky and warming
It’s an irony that, I don’t see you much,
Truth is; we are poles apart,
But the desire lingers to have you such,
Like a leaf contain dew,
Morning makes it a pearl,
It’s the glory of love the moments drew.

But problem; remain the same,
How I dare to convey?
The love, both in me and my way.
And I hate to keep you stalking,
A feminist me keep thinking
It’s only on your desire,
Me or whatever else, you aspire.
However you act,
This troubadour will keep his feelings intact.
