Part of the talk will be on the Niqab, especially regarding the recent controversy surrounding this.

The presentation will also promote health issues for sisters, especially surrounding issues such as stress, diet and lifestyles.

Noor Ul Islam, together with London Action Trust, is looking for Muslims who would like to become Mentors to Muslim ex-offenders.

Ex-offenders often need help, support and guidance to get back into society by enrolling on a course or seeking employment.

Our recruitment campaign is aiming to get Muslims who can offer support for about one hour per week. Full training and a qualification is given. Whilst this is not a paid position, expenses will be covered.

Following being awarded the bronze level previously we had aimed to apply for the higher level (next level up). but after exceeded expectation the school was given the highest level of “Outstanding Level”.

The award will be presented to the school at an awards ceremony in October 2010 at the Emirates Stadium.

The Noor Ul Islam Aalimah course will be receiving a new intake of students for its course.

If you have Type 2 Diabetes and would like free medical advice how to continue to fast during Ramadhan – you’ll be pleased to know Noor Ul Islam Trust is holding a free session with the local Primary Care Trust on Sunday 1st August.

To book your session, please complete this application form: Diabetes Application Form 2010  and return to 713 High Road, Leyton, London E10 5AB no later that Wednesday 21st July 2010.

The Key Stage 2 document compares the percentages of our pupils achieving each level (in the white rows) to the National Average from last year (shaded rows). It also contains the teacher assessment figures. These tests are externally marked.

Whilst we acknowledge that good end of year assessment results is not the only thing we need to achieve with our pupils, it is a good indication of how well we are doing. We make duaa that Allaah (swt) continues to guide our children to success both academically as well as in matters of the deen.

National Report for key stage 1 (from 2009)

The Youth of Noor Ul Islam are raising money for Noor Ul Islam Trust by participating in a sponsored walk up Mount Snowdon, the second highest mountain in Britain. People are always doing sponsored walks up Mount Snowdon for charity but the challenge for Noor Ul Islam Youth Group is that we will be taking around 12 youths aged between 12-16 Years old to trek up this 1085 metres (3560 ft) mountain. We know, it is going to be tough taking youngsters up Mount Snowdon but with your dua’s it will be a success, InshaAllah.

Noor Ul Islam Trust provides many services and activities for its community such as Primary School, Pre-School, Madrassa, Youth group, Women’s Group, Martial Arts Classes, sports sessions, legal advice, Medical Clinic etc. We want to expand so we can provide more facilities for the community. Only with your help this can be possible.
