Jakarta Day 2....DUFAN "Dunia Fantasi" Ancol..

2012-02-12T22:23:00.008+08:00

The story continues....
After dinner, we went back to the guest hse for a gd nite sleep as tommorow we all are going to Ancol.." Fantasy World" aka DUFAN " dunia fantasi"..
Our supir arrives as early as 8.00 am ..to avoid the jam..we arrived at 9 am and the booth ticket is not yet open till 10 am..so to occupies our time we went for a gondola ride..

After having an enjoyable ride up in the air..we bought the tickets to the Fantasy World which is abt RM 70 per person..so wif 10 of us..wow....but it was worth it..we spend the whole day here & the kids really enjoy themselves...moreover all in the family are here...

My 1st wish on the wishlist of 2012

2012-01-31T18:59:00.006+08:00

Family's first..that is my first priority ...raising 8 growing kids is a tough job but then luckily for me they all understd that their mum & dad are always busy...they never ask for more then we could afford but still they always get what they want...its a year now since my hubby's transfer to Trengganu ..i took over the chores that is normally done by hubby...again I'm lucky bcos apart frm all the hard work & pressures frm all around ....my kids understds...further more the burden is lessen wif my hardworking & loyal bibik who have been wif us for almost 5 years now..my kids dun't want to follow hubby to Trengganu bcos they dun't want to leave thier friends & school..& furthermore hubby always came down for meetings here almost every week..so they get to see their father every week...
the most stress part for me was last Dec when I was involved in the SPM invigilation..for almost a month I leave the house at 6 am after solat subuh & came back home nearly 7 pm every day..Why?? bcos myself jaga the bilik kebal where we have to open the peti besi where the SPM papers were kept..my kids complained that they didn't see much of me & at that time my bibik went back to Medan for a 3 weeks break..i was so tired, stress & miserable thinking of the Naqiyah & Nabilah left behind all day..although they are grown ups but the worries r still there..
Soo..since we coudn't go anywhere at that time...I ask the big ones when is their free time..esp Fathullah & Nadiah semester break..coincidently..their break falls on CNY week
Soo..to cover up the Dec hols that we don't have..I planned a trip to Jakarta/ Bandung..why Jakarta?? My doter Siti Nasirah is studying in Jakarta so we can visit her at the same time..ask for my hubby's permission & whether he can free himself within that date....happily..my first wishlist of 2012 came true when I took the family to Jakarta / Bandung ..we went there on the 21 - 28.1.2012..it was the most memorable & enjoyable trip..most of all..the quality time that hubby & me spent together wif the children....its not always that I can gather all 8 of them together...
My family trip story will continue in my nxt post...but first..a few sneak peek of our pix at LCCT airport just b4 departure to Jakarta..

Happy Birthday, Fathullah

2012-01-17T21:39:00.002+08:00

Happy Birthday, Fathuddin..

2012-01-03T18:41:00.004+08:00

My son Fathuddin turns 17 today..how time files & he's grown up already. Still remember the days where i was holding him in my arms 17 yrs ago wif those tiny little feet & the so loud cry..he3..now he's grown tall & handsome & will be sitting for his SPM exam this year..Abt his studies ..i'm really worried as he is so active at sch..involving in the sch curicullar activities apart frm his usual football game wif friends in the afternoon which is a must..hopefully he will study hard this year..
Fathuddin loves cakes esp choc cake..since i went to sch to settle a few unfininshed work this morning....I only managed to bake this black forest cake for him..
Happy Bornday, Mohd Fathuddin

2011-10-14T22:59:00.006+08:00

I've been 'away' from my diary for almost 2 months. Why??? . Apart fr the normal work at sch & fulfilling cake orders.... commitment is to my daughter Siti Naqiyah. I limited myself in taking cake orders + in front of pc the past 2 months bcos Naqiyah is having her PMR exam this mth. I feel guilty if i'm too involved in orders so for the past few mths my concentrations are on her. There are afew small orders fr friends which I did only on weekends that I can't resist so wif that few orders plus my commitment to Naqiyah my diary had been hibernated for 2 mths. Naqiyah just finished her PMR & in her relaxing world.
Also I hope my diary will be lively again but again I'm involve in the SPM invigilation which starts on the 14th Nov - 14th Dec. So there goes my sch hols.
Anyway orders for cakes are still open since I have Najwa around.

Apam dot2 aka apam doties as i called are on my main order list for the past few mths. with variuos fillings. No wonder its most like by all.

School's Story

2011-07-26T15:42:00.003+08:00

Today's post is abt what's happening thruout this month of July at school..i seldom wrote an n3 abt my sch life but then this is my diary so why not?
Firstly..wants to congratulates my sch friends for their APC yesterday at PTGC, Templer. Myself as a AJK sambutan/ Protokol were there & were very happy for them & together we took alot of pix. Congrates guys....dunt forget..will be waiting for a treat fr u all...he3

buzy week

2011-07-19T23:00:00.004+08:00

Again & again..I way behind in updating my blog. been buzy with the sch work, with the kids not well really limited my time in siiting in front of the pc...
Naqiyah been not well for the past few weeks..followed by Najwa who lost her sweet voice..luckily it's not serious....after seeing the doctor & taking the medicine, Najwa gets her voice back..
Pentaksiran for my KHB subject went smoothly well today without any complications..now i can concentrate more on the studnets revisions with the PMR exams coming soon... My worries are still for naqiyah who will be sittng for her PMR this Oct..she don't want to go to any tuition ...she likes to study by herself..luckily she has her brothers & big sis to ask for any assistance..even though her mid year results are not to my satisfactions, naqiyah can do it as she is a bright kid....hoping for the best..
just to end my story of the day..want to show a birthday cake ordered by my sch friend for her son's birthday last week..German Blackforest cake layered woth pitted cherries & deco with chocalate mousse...+ sphageti olio which i made for my buka puasa last week..

sphageti olio..made for buka puasa last sunday

2011-06-30T18:43:00.005+08:00

OMG...teringat kata2 Juara Maharaja Lawak Sepah....a bit frustrated cos Jozan came in second..anyway that's not what I'm posting abt 2day...
Today is the last day of June & I just noticed that I don't have any entry in June..OMG again
so just to make the month flow I'll have to write something right.. & actually alot of happenings happens thruout this month.
Firstly....birthdays...June is the month of birthdays to the family. It is Faiz & Nasirah's birthday...& both of them are not at home during their special day...Faiz's birthday was on the 5th June & he was in Paris at that time. He went to Paris for a 3 days course & while he were there he travels to London & Amsterdam. He was away for 2 weeks & came back home on the 8th June looking thin...he said he missed home & mum's food...no wonder la...Faiz ..my eldest son ..just turns 25 & still single...engineer at Technip, KL & still enjoying life...
Nasirah...3rd in the family..study medical in Jakarta & celebrate her 22nd birthday on the 22nd June...sadly ..in Jakarta...celebrating with friends....
Both of them are great kids & i love them so much...

Noor's World Of Cooking

2011-05-29T09:08:00.006+08:00

I put up a new blog related to my cooking world. This blog is all abt my cooking & orders & will be handle by my doter, Siti Najwa. She helped me alot with the orders thruout this month. She just finished her studies & will start working nxt week. Her work is in KL & will stay with us. She is good in doing the cuppies & the blogging. Any CSI work ie new recipies just gave it to her & she will do it. It means alot to me when she is around since I cannot do it all by myself as Naqiyah will be sitting for her PMR soon. But bear in mind that I don't mix work with business. I love teaching & I won't entertain any orders that I could't manage. I start my baking as my hobby & that I never imagine that it would turn into a business. Najwa will handle the cuppies, chocolates, muffins and I will do fondant cakes, talam, festive cakes & not to forget any simple packaging. Cake classes will be conducted soon upon requested during weekends & school holidays till further notice.
So anyone wants to do any ordering , do drop by NoorsCookingWorld. We try to entertain ur order as to ur satisfaction as homemade cakes are clean , halal & freshly made with love. That I know as I made it with love just as I made it for my 8 kids who just love eating cakes.
Pix shown is caramel puding made by my other doter, Siti Nadiah for makan2..

Happy New Year 2011

2011-01-01T17:42:00.003+08:00

I came across this beautiful 'recipe' from here. hope u don't mind I share this with my blogger friends...

Take twelve whole months,
Clean them thoroughly of all bitterness, hate, and jealousy,
Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.

Now cut each month into twenty-eight, thirty, or thirty-one different parts,
but don't make up the whole batch at once.
Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients.

Mix well into each day -
one part of faith, one part of patience, one part of courage, and one part of work.

Add to each day one part of hope, faithfulness, generosity, and kindness.
Blend with one part prayer, one part meditation, and one good deed.
Season the whole with a dash of good spirits, a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play, and a cupful of good humor.

Pour all of this into a vessel of love.
Cook thoroughly over radiant joy, garnish with a smile,
and serve with quietness, unselfishness, and cheerfulness.

You're bound to have a happy new year."
