We’ve launched a fully-branded mobile-ready site with a new logo and colour scheme. Our goal was to keep the design simple and compliment this creative business.

One Source Mechanical provides plumbing and mechanical services in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge area. We’ve tailored the new site to be responsive across all devices – from tablets to mobile to desktop, the site is optimized for clean, clear content. Residential and commercial customers can call a plumber quickly and easily via their mobile and industrial customers can find out more details about OSM’s process piping specializations.

We’ve launched the site with a focus on SEO and Google Adwords campaign starting shortly – sure to help our client’s keywords be recognized in Google’s search results!

Feather Animation is our recently launched eCommerce project. With over 700 products available in the catalogue, this fully customized online retailer offers a wide variety of tools and accessories for the avid wood carving enthusiast.

Designed with simplicity and clean interfaces, this website offers a straightforward presentation and user-friendly experience. Under the surface, we’ve included inventory management, customized product pages, SEO and Canada Post integrated shipping. We’re looking forward to including additional features to this site through 2014!

Serial Killer Quarterly

Serial Killer Quarterly is our latest eCommerce publishing project. Founded by current doctoral student Lee Mellor (author of Cold North Killers and Rampage) and his long-time friend, Aaron Elliott, Serial Killer Quarterly offers an academic perspective on true crime, serial killers and modern criminal psychology. Featuring articles and stories by world-class authors such as Harold Schechter, Katherine Ramsland, and Michael Newton, SQK promises to deliver high-quality content.

A yearly membership provides users with updates of the publication in .pdf and ebook format, designed and developed by Northbound. The first issue just launched, with three more coming throughout the year!

Responsive Design

With so many users accessing the internet with tablets and mobile phones, modern websites are being developed to handle different screen sizes, shapes and resolutions. Optimizing layouts for different devices is called responsive design. The key is that responsive design should be thought of as optimized design. Fortunately, this isn’t merely a design trend, but approaches development from a user-friendly viewpoint. You’ve probably noticed many of your favourite sites have converted to new designs throughout 2013.

We’ve made an update to our portfolio, and now Northbound Creations is completely mobile-ready. If you resize your browser, you’ll notice that the layout will change. Over the course of this year, we’ll be excited to share some new responsive projects with you (one is already in the works)! Say tuned!
