December Lunch Menu & Holiday Program Reminder

Attached is the December Lunch Menu in PDF form, or you can pick up a paper copy at the front desk.

Also, please remember that the annual Holiday Program is this Saturday at 10am at Bethel Church. Please have your child(ren) to the church by 9:45am so that we can begin the program promptly. Families are also asked to bring a 1/2 dozen of store-bought cookies to share afterward.

This year we will be recording the program using the church's recording facilities. Families can pre-order this Holiday Program DVD for $5 each by filling out the form left in your family cubbie (or get another from the front desk). A limited number of DVDs will be available for sale after the event, as well. We are asking families that bring their own cameras please set up at the back of the church so that everyone in the seated area can have a view of the program.

Also, please remember that the NM will be closed for the holidays on the following dates:
Friday, December 24th
Monday, December 27th
Friday, December 31st

GiveMN.org is a web resource dedicated to raising funds for organizations, causes, and individuals right here in Minnesota. Tuesday, November 16th (that's tomorrow!) is their Give to the Max Day 2010 event, where every donation to the Northfield Montessori enters us to win in the hourly raffle for a $1000 donation! The four organizations that receive the most donations on this day will can will up to $20,000!! Just imagine what we could do for our children with those additional funds!!

Reminder: School Pictures Oct 27-28

This is just a reminder that school pictures will be taken this week on Wednesday and Thursday.

Individual and sibling pictures will be taken on Wednesday.

We will be taking ALL class pictures on Thursday. If it is not your child's regular day you may still bring them at the scheduled time to be included in the class picture. All times are approximate. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early and plan to stay 5-10 minutes past... we'll try and do them quickly. :)

The class picture times are as follows:

Toddlers 1 9:30
Toddlers 3 9:45
Toddlers 2 10:00

Preschool M2/D2 10:15
Preschool D1/M1 10:30

Infants 1 10:45
Infants 2 11:00

Kindergarten 11:30

Please remember to bring your picture order envelopes with a separate check for each child and/or sibling picture.

Please remember that the Northfield Montessori is closed November 25 & 26th for the Thanksgiving holiday. If your child will miss their regular schedule for any reason, please make sure to make a note of it in the spiral notebook at the sign-in desk, and mention it to one of your childs' teachers.

Also, the Northfield Montessori teachers, staff and board members are always open to suggestions or new ideas. Please feel free to speak with anyone at the school about your ideas!

BIKE RODEO on Tuesday, Aug 31st!!
