Preparing for a Move of God

2 Chronicles 7:14 - if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. NKJV

Ever since we moved to the Pacific Northwest several decades ago I've been hearing prophetic words that revival would break out first in the Pacific NW and that it would spread across the nation like a whirlwind. Year after year the word has been reinforced by those you hear and speak from Abba and we have waited, believing that soon God would hear the prayers of His children and heal the land. But a strange thing has happened during the waiting time - fewer and fewer voices are proclaiming a coming move and it seems that fewer and fewer individuals see a need for a move of God. Don't get me wrong, those that still believe and are crying out are doing so with significant passion and vigor - yet things are seemingly getting worse.

This is probably with good reason. As you see things that have happened just recently in our nation and our state - the pot of water is boiling and the frogs are simply soaking it up till they are cooked. As an example - the lack of outcry from the Christian community regarding the passage of the gay-marriage bill here is Washington was amazing. While it is often difficult to stand on the word of God - all of it - we must not compromise the underlying tenets of our faith less we fall to deception.

I know that God loves all sinners and I believe that I love ALL sinners including those whose lifestyles are different than mine - in fact I've had no problem praying for a young HIV positive homosexual man who has visited the healing rooms on several occasions - I see him with the compassion that Jesus sees him - but I must still stand on the word of God and explain my beliefs without trying to judge. Yes it's hard but it is what each and every one of are called to do.This is just one small example of what is happening and perhaps may be why God has delayed bringing the fullness of His presence - Let me share something else that I feel sets the tone for why this nation and the world must have a massive sovereign move of God. This is a very sensitive and serious issue and I’m not casting stones – but I think we need to understand something that is very serious in the eyes of the Lord and has probably caused Him to delay His favor. We see in 2 Kings 17:16-18 an example –

16 So they left all the commandments of the Lord their God, made for themselves a molded image and two calves, made a wooden image and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served Baal. 17 And they caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and soothsaying, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger. 18 Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel, and removed them from His sight; there was none left but the tribe of Judah alone. NKJV

This very simple slide shows the number of children aborted since the passage of Roe v Wade in 1973, the totals are at the side and the 20 pink shaded states are representative of the equal number of residents in those states equivalent to the number of aborted children. As of last year there have been over 52 MILLION abortions – equal to the entire populations of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North & South Dakota, Alaska, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Hawaii, Utah, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Arkansas, New Hampshire, and Iowa. As I have personally experienced - one of the on-going challenges for those God has established as Prophets and Apostles is bringing words and revelation of change that is coming upon the Body of Christ. Fortunately in most situations Abba begins to bring the word and revelation many years prior to the actual occurrence of the change.

And as I've noticed in various social medias a lot of individuals around the nation are hearing similar words of a significant paradigm shift in the spirit.

For my part in this process God has given me several messages and words that I feel, as revealed by Holy Spirit, will come to fruition this year. Over the last several years I have spoken on numerous topics in preparation for what I feel Holy Spirit has been saying will begin to occur this year. And fortunately I am not the only prophet that God has been using to bring these types of message, the truth is that He has been speaking to His prophets for many, many years about future events, many of which we will see come to pass in 2012.

So many people have been believing for a revival, or a renewal, or restoration - all which are great words, and historically many Christians have chased after them in one form or another. We keep looking hoping for something that we have not yet experienced, or something that we may have experienced once before and long to share again. Throughout history man has come to his senses at one time or another and responded to the call from Father God and responded in accordingly – with repentance, supplication and humility.

I remember as a child going to revival meetings, tent meetings, and such and I don’t know if we needed them all really, but it was fun at least. During my life we have had the Jesus Movement of the 1970’s, Argentina, Toronto, Brownsville, and many other breakouts here and there - and the interesting things is - when revival “breaks out” folks run to it to see what going on because they are hungry for something more than what they are getting in their local congregations.

My wife and I had the opportunity to go to Brownsville during the revival in 1998. We were at a conference in New Orleans and we just thought we’d drive to Florida – what can I say - we were much younger then and driving across several states that we had never been through before was no obstacle. We had heard the stories, we knew the longing in our hearts and spirits and so off we went and we got to experience something – a mass of individuals coming before God and God honoring them with His presence.

Yet here we are once again in 2012 and voices around the nation are being raised for revival. To be honest, I don’t think a simple revival will do it, because for some reason revivals don’t seem to last more than a few years, with the Argentine revival being the exception. Renewal would be good, but I’m really feeling in the spirit that we need something much, much more.

Why do we need something? To be brutally honest – for the last several centuries the church has failed in its mission to consistently spread the good news of the Kingdom of God - that God is love, and expect for a few brief years of awakenings and movements that church has not had the displays of God’s dynamic love and power that so many people are desperate for and actively seeking. Denominationism, sects, cults, splits, doctrines, and a whole lot of stuff that is not from God has crept into the church over the years and now we find ourselves in our current dire straits.

And as a dramatic but simple example - when national leaders allow things to happen - reportedly like the use of cells from aborted babies to be developed as "flavor enhancers" because they are considered a "normal business occurrence" we have crossed the line and are in serious need of a cleansing and healing from God through the roar of His love!

As said in the natural – the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. For their role the denominational churches have a similar problem. Preach the same messages, sing the same songs, have the same format, have the same programs and expect something different from God. Yet as I've said - here we are with a mostly powerless church body that has been incapable and/or unwilling to fully represent the love of Christ.

What we need is something much more, we need a sovereign move of the hand of the Lord across this land that will make a lasting change in hearts, minds, and spirits, and restore His children to Him.

Often it takes a national tragedy to get folks attention – the Hebrews were well aware of this during the Old Testament days. And recently we had a very short experience of this following 9/11 where people once again began to refocus on God, their walk with Him, and began to go back to church. But what I’m talking about is significant level of repentance on a national level that has not been seen probably since the days of the Prophets.

How God brings this is completely up to Him and I am convinced the He is looking for spirit filled men and women right now that will set aside their own desires even their own lives in order to seek His face and usher in His presence and His glory.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. NKJV

What will the next move look like? I have an idea based on a message He gave me back in February of 2010, but if history is any indication it will certainly not look like what we are currently doing and in all probability it will not look like what we have seen before. There will probably be similar characteristics of earlier moves of God because the spiritual DNA is His, but other than that who knows. It may include mass amounts of joy and laughter; it may include mass amounts of falling prostate before the Lord in tears and supplication, it may include awesome signs and wonders, but one thing it will include will be controversy.

Let me give you a few examples of what I mean. You see, when God begins to move - not only do the voices in the world shout complaints, but the established “church” rises up in full battle array proclaiming that whatever is going on is clearly not of God – instead of judging by the fruits of the work – the rile against it because it’s different and it threatens their way of life (can you say funding stream?).

The first example I’d like to share comes from our denominational folks over in the Methodist camp. For those that do not know the history of the Methodists – they were radical and outside the box in their foundational days. How many of you have heard of John and Charles Wesley? During the mid-1700’s he was used by God to transform England and by inclusion – America. Today we see the Methodists probably as a mild mannered gathering, but in the 1700 here are some of the things that were said about them:

“The horrid blasphemies and impieties taught by those diabolical seducers called Methodists. They pray in the language of a saint to Beelzebub himself and their religion could be forged nowhere but in the bottomless pit” Rev John Kirkby. (The Revival Answer Book, M. Brown, pg14).

Rev. Kirkby had this to say about John Wesley? He called him “that emissary of satan, whose religion is as opposite to Christianity as heaven is to hell and whose damnation will be just”. (ibid) During the 1740’s there were more than 100 anti-revival publications calling the Methodists such things as fortune tellers, conjurers, and such. Yet in 1922 British Prime Minister Lloyd George said “the Wesleyan movement was responsible for ‘a complete revolution effected in a whole county…and that you cannot understand twentieth-century America, unless you understand Wesley”

The Azusa Street Revival is often called the birth of the global Pentecostal movement and the Foursquare and Assembly of God denominations came forth from the fruits of this work. God used a young one-eyed African-American gentleman named William J. Seymour, who started as a Methodist – still moving in the teaching of Wesley – to bring forth a whole lot of God – but of course not without significant criticism and downright hostility. A Los Angeles Times reporter summarized the thoughts of the day

"Breathing strange utterances and mouthing a creed which it would seem no sane mortal could understand", the story began, "the newest religious sect has started in Los Angeles". Another local paper reporter in September 1906 described the happenings with the following words: ...disgraceful intermingling of the races...they cry and make howling noises all day and into the night. They run, jump, shake all over, shout to the top of their voice, spin around in circles, fall out on the sawdust blanketed floor jerking, kicking and rolling all over it. Some of them pass out and do not move for hours as though they were dead. These people appear to be mad, mentally deranged or under a spell. They claim to be filled with the spirit. They have a one eyed, illiterate, Negro as their preacher who stays on his knees much of the time with his head hidden between the wooden milk crates. He doesn't talk very much but at times he can be heard shouting, ‘Repent,’ and he's supposed to be running the thing...They repeatedly sing the same song, ‘The Comforter Has Come.’[3] - The attenders of the meetings were often described as "Holy Rollers", "Holy Jumpers", "Tangled Tonguers" and "Holy Ghosters." Reports were published throughout the U.S. and the world of the strange happenings in Los Angeles.

How about something a little closer to home and more recent - How many of you recall the renewal movement of the 1990s? How many of you recall the fruit and manifestations of this movement…remember Holy Laughter? Well a Christian author by the name of Dr. Eddie Cheong wrote “Deceiving the Elect: A Scriptural and Critical Analysis of the Laughter Movement” (1995). He explains why he wrote the book:

“I wrote [this book] with all sincerity of heart to warn God’s people of this deceptive movement and would not have proceeded to write even one page if there was one percent of this move being of God. [It] is a Christian spiritual apostasy and deception on an unprecedented scale. False doctrine, like leaven, corrupt the Whole Body of Christ” (ibid pg 23)

Similar things have been said about the moves of God in Toronto and Brownsville, Florida. I won’t dwell on this any longer because dozens of books have been written on these topics over the years – but I want to make a few things as clear as possible.

God desires to move
God will move

And when God moves, as history has shown, it will not be in a way that is “acceptable” to the institutionalized church. Many currently in the church will rise up in opposition against the fruits of the work and those who God is using for this work. I feel the need to stress this as strongly as I can because there are some here today that have this desire to see God come in His fullness of His Glory and who desire to see this nation return to God one street at a time if necessary.

When God comes, and if you embrace what He is doing, you can expect to be vilified, lied about, cursed, etc. until His fruit becomes wide-spread. You may receive some really weird words from God…I myself have been so blessed, but understand that the season you have been going through for the last several years, some for decades, has been to prepare you for this time.

Matt 5:10-1210 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. NKJV

Let me share with you one of the original examples of what God can do. Please turn with me to John chapter 6 starting with verse 41. I heard a message on this passage a short time ago at my mother’s church in California – l don’t think the pastor knew what God would do with it.

John 6:41-59 41 The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, "I am the bread which came down from heaven." 42 And they said, "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, 'I have come down from heaven'?" 43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, "Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world." 52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, "How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?" 53 Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven — not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever." 59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum. NKJV

To the Jewish mind this was the most absurd non-Godly message they could have heard…eat his flesh, drink his blood…but today we understand. We can expect similar because God has not changed, His message has not changed. He has the right to bring the most radical life changing message He wants to bring, anyway He wants to bring it…as I said before, laughter, tears, joy, sorrow, whatever it takes to turn us and this nation around in order to prepare the Bride for the soon return of the Bridegroom and King. You can only see the fruits of Revelation 12:11 and they did not love their lives to the death if you understand that this is not about me or you…it is about the Good News and the Kingdom of God and move without fear into all that God has called you and I to do.

So in that vein - As I said earlier, I think that this change that is currently underway will be one of the most dramatic changes in the Body of Christ since the reformation, or perhaps even since the Cross. I know that these are bold statements to make but I serve a bold and loving God and the need is exceedingly great ant the time is short. Today the body struggles with different denominations with different doctrines, standards, and polices and while many of these doctrine may be good they are not fully scripture – and often taken out of context at best.

I’ve had several individuals ask me what is the next move going to look like, and Holy Spirit prompted me of the word He gave me two years ago…that this move will be based on God’s pure love. And because the overall church has had a problem being and representing His love it is going to be a significant challenge and it will take a revolution of the mind – the word He gave two years ago was:

“This is the beginning of the Second American Revolution” - “This revolution will not be like anything that has happened before in this nation, and it will herald in a mighty move of My Spirit…for this revolution will not be based on politics or political agendas but it will be based on My people coming into the fullness of understanding of My Love and My relationship with them…and through this revolution of Love this nation will turn back to me and once again be what which I have planned for this time.

So be prepared - God is going to move with us or without us. He is coming to help the Bride prepare herself for the return of the Bridegroom and King. If you have a problem with your doctrine being challenged - be prepared He is going to challenge it. For too many years man's interpretation of what God has said has hindered what God really wants to do.

So hear what the spirit is saying today - anything of man that conflicts with the true word of God will have His light shown upon it. Doctrines that limit the giftings, or say that certain ministries ceased centuries ago, or that women can't minster, or that continue any elements of the law will fall under the love and stare of our Heavenly Father.

A Convocation of Eagles

Introduction: A goodly number of prophetic people from the Northwest got together late in April to share what we're hearing from the Lord.

This was the invitation: "The Convocation of Eagles will be a gathering of the prophetic with the mission to hear what He is saying to the Northwest/West Coast. Our goal will be for each person to have 2-3 minutes to share what the Lord is showing you for this region. David Bodine and Mark Acuna will be facilitating the event and we ask that you come prepared to share and hear from the Lord."

I took notes, as best I could, on what was shared; missed some of it, of course. This is the raw material, not a sanitized presentation. Where I have them, I added the name of the person sharing that section. Note that these prophetic words have not yet been subjected to the discernment of 1 Corinthians 14:29. Each presenter is human; some parts are meat, some parts are bones. Please judge every word carefully, eat the meat, and spit out the bones, as instructed by the Book .

Opening: Jerry Chapman: Protocol and Invocation. Wow. (That was heavy.)

Dave: Meditation: “Focus.” We need to focus on what God is focusing on.

Mark: Acknowledging the tears of those who have been praying for this region for years. Reminder: this is a gathering of the prophetic with the mission to hear what He is saying to the NW and the West Coast.

Barb Steely: Some history: personal history and regional prophetic history. Firebase Rainier. Eagles: as they come off the endangered list, prophets would begin to flourish. . Prophets in the NW. Prophets came to the NW. They stopped coming: darkness in the region. Eagles (bald eagles) are flourishing.

We, the prophetic people of the NW, need to come out of the caves, declare the word of the Lord for what is coming. Declare strongly, clear to the east coast. If God is telling us to speak, we need to speak clearly enough to be heard. We’re off the endangered list. It’s time to flourish.

Jerry Chapman: Last few weeks: struggle. That usually happens before something significant. There’s something here. My cave was covered with cedar boughs. Even struggled today. “Pray for enthusiasm.” That we would be energized.

Ten years ago, a Native American prophetic voice who travels the world. When she comes, she’s commissioned to come. Grand Chief Linda Prince: 120 drums. Her commission: land issues, cultural issues, relationships. Asked her to come to Cowlitz before they were federally recognized. We used words there, occasionally. Linda came w/ team. Shortly after, Cowlitz was federally recognized. Cowlitz leaders apologized for missing it. Cowlitz tribe is in a place of favor.

The church, the kingdom, is beginning to recognize that first nations have something to honor. Commissioned Jerry & Leslie as gatekeepers for the coast region. You’re going to delegate people to see certain things.

“What’s a gatekeeper?” One responsibility: guard what Yahweh has given you with your whole life. One thing I’m seeing: Jezebel spirit. For leaders: Jezebel is after leaders of Yahweh. Going to come, going to sit, going to draw Yahweh’s leaders to look at the local gods, to look at the distractions. Go to someone if needful: ask them to pray for you. Comment: most worship songs come here on Highway30.

Note: there is a strong spirit going on; native communities are gathering totem spirits, ancestral spirits, gathering spirits. As bright as things on this earth are, things of Heaven are brighter. We are called to step into the presence of the Lord and speak our voice, our voice (Firebase Seaside, Hushoma), speak before God.

Joan Pingle: With prophetic people, there often is no time frame. What you see is not anchored to time. Remember the gathering in Whistler, may years ago. We were getting tons of things about eagles. The eagles were thick enough that the airport was clogged. 3000 people gathered. First reconciliation. No agenda. Wow. Exciting. First: young NA, weeping. “I came through a dream; God brought me. I came to reconcile red & white.” Flood to the platform. Red & white. Reconciling.

Young prophet prophesied flames, spreading. God led us to give a cake to a NA woman. “Oh, you’re going to the party.” With Linda Prince. Multi-cultures. Now God is bringing back, calling forward the eagles. Great granddaughter: It’s not California; it’s Nineveh! My struggle, included many people dying around me. We took an earthquake in our family.

Lord told me (late 90s): “Jezebel spirit is coming down.” Ran into Chuck Pierce, who happened to confirm it. “I Am will bring it down.” Bible: At the burning bush: “I am who I am, and what I am. I will be what I will be.” “I am that I am.” Let him be that. We will avert many things because I Am is in us. When I walked into this room today, I was about knocked down. This is a room full of prophets. God is up to something. This time, we’re going to see the prophetic in everybody. Not just east coast. Thank God for them. But God is bringing the east coast and west coast together, laughing. We are in the greatest adventure we’ve seen so far.

Tom Christo. That’s what the Lord wants us to declare: who we are. Receive a prophet. Prophet’s reward: to see. The mix of the local church pastor/settler and the prophetic/pioneer needs to be merged: both eyes to see both dimensions. God’s bringing balance so we can both see in the Spirit & be taught. We’ve spent 10 years with NA in Wyoming. Jez spirit is empowered by the NA spirit. Shape shifting, manifestations. We need to focus because we’re in transition. You have to focus when God’s birthing something. Focus on God: the one with wisdom, with power. While my wife gave birth to our babies, I experienced the birth pains. Today’s transition: from gospel of salvation to gospel of the Kingdom: the goodness of God leads to salvation. If you have faith to call yourself a sinner, you’ll have faith to sin. Bible is addressed to saints, not sinners. The culmination of knowledge is not a concept, it’s an experience. Church has worshipped knowledge, worshipped the Bible, even worshipped principles (If we do this, God has to do that). But God is making us know his as I AM. Word for these days: Thankfulness. Thankfulness is not a concept. Not just a teaching. It’s an experience.

As prophetic people, we have the power to change the atmosphere of wherever we are. Thankfulness is the key. I experienced this: Vision: People around were stunted spiritually & naturally. Heavens opened up: new dimensions, including Spirit, Power. Stars: light, w/ occasional dark. Everything gave off sound & light. Joy. Fun saturated w/ expectancy. Endless gifts for everyone. (My secret place is while I’m sleeping.) Weeping for loss of that place. Thanks. Immediately back in that place. Power of thankfulness needs to be released in the church in the west coast.

Second: Honor. Honor those who have gone before us: NA, pioneers, forerunners. We’re not trying to “do the good old days.” We’re honoring what they’ve pioneered. If we honor those before us, honor will be with us.

Third: prayer. Encouragement not to give up. Prophetic prayer is not subject to time. Been praying for a woman since 1980. Been weeping around the world praying for Linda Meisner. Led thousands to the Lord in Jesus People days in Seattle. Got involved w/ a cult. Church wrote her off. He found her on FB. God’s told her to come back to Seattle (from Sweden) to the streets. Key ingredient in prophetic evangelism.

I never come this early in the meeting. I did have a word. It’s why I’m here. Unity. The Body has got to come together. God wants to woo us. I have to go wherever the body is gathering. Shared this in Castle Rock. Such an anointing in CR. Sorry for the tears; interceding for the region. Overwhelming.

In HS, God told me (in science class, in Atlanta) that I was going to the west coast. Sent to Portland & Astoria. It’s time for the body to come together. Honor those who have gone before us. Honor different flavors, different streams. Need to not react when they don’t agree with us.

Awakening is here now. Awaken my heart first. Going through all the old prophetic tapes; it’s all for right now. I will be no other place on this earth than right here, right now. The Awakening has begun. We need to get ready.

Miguel: I was sent here from the east coast. I have a word. We knew Oregon as “way, somewhere out there. Another planet.” I’m from Oregon now. I am an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. I’m learning. I’m a student of the things of God. When he brought me here, I asked him about the area.

He opened my eyes. Saw 4 angels coming: there’s a mighty move that He’s sending to the entire west coast. It’s Time. To me. To the church. It’s time for the church to be the church. It’s time for the church to wake up. The promises are for us, for today. Not for the future, for somewhere. God is on the move in the West Coast. Describes miracles: Man w/ steel rod in his back; God made it bone, he could move. Woman w/ bad heart got a new heart. It’s time. So strong in my heart I can’t get out of this thing.

It’s time for us to experience, “You will do that.” It’s time for you, today, to experience the power of God. There is a mantle. The Entire Northwest Will Be Changed Because of Jesus Christ. Revival is here. We don’t see it. We cannot lookback to revival 100 years ago. It’s here now. It’s for us to experience.

Mark Acuna. Joan was saying, “I am the rock you’re kneeling on.” One of the Asters of Astoria died in the Titanic; this is the anniversary of Titanic. Day of great difficulty, great salvation. MV Carpathia was the nearby ship: named after Carpathia mountains: fundamentally, “Rock”. Floating rock of salvation. Psalms: God lifted me out of slimy mire, put me on a rock. Many will see & will hear.

Some of you have been wondering what you’ve been doing in this season. Some active; some waiting. Some feel your giftings are under-utilized. You are on the Carpathia. God put you on the rock, surrendering your life to him. He’s given you a job, and you’re doing it, thinking it’s mundane. Things got exciting for Carpathia when they came upon the sinking Titanic. They were there to hear the cry for help. You will hear the people’s cry for help.

There were people with a gift for navigation who responded to those crying out. Others know how to focus the light. The tragedy was pitch black; you know how to focus Jesus so he shines exactly where you need to focus: exactly the one who stands out. Our giftings are all needed on the Carpathia. The economy will shipwreck many. Natural disasters. Terrorism/war. Sickness.

You & I, just looking around us, we see so many needy people. Many will be shipwrecked. Some will be on lifeboats, barely hanging on. You can’t survive long on a lifeboat; it’s temporary. Remind you: The Rock has set sail. God has told you when to launch out. He set the course. He knows exactly where you’ll need to be to intercept. Welcome aboard.

Dave: Break. Open at 1:30. Start again at 2:00. We’ll go until 5; hard stop then.

Barb: Need to pray. Focus. Another international group called to the NW from New Orleans. Father, fine tune us. Focus us. Thx.

Dave. 1996: started a real ride. God showed up. Holy Spirit invaded their church. “Dave, we want to share with you what God shared with us this morning.” They laid hands on me. Two hours later, I woke up. I’ve felt it twice before: salvation at 19 and a year later when filled with the Spirit. This was new, different. God in me. I longed for those times. I longed for them. This is a longing you couldn’t understand, unless you’ve been incredibly in love. A lot of what we experienced in the 90s is still going on around the world. It’s coming again to the Northwest. We were a prototype. We are still a prototype. Old Pentecostal leader: “You have a genuine move of God. Guard it carefully.”

This is what I saw, this is what’s coming, this is what’s already being built. I see a harvest that’s ripe. I see a church without walls. I see a powerful outpouring so that the church cannot contain it. It’s too big. The same principle applies to churches of any size. Business as usual, and Holy Spirit shows up. Everything is turned upside down. That evening everybody brings their friends, and it’s doubled. Midweek, you’re doubled again. Next weekend, you’ve got 10x what you had before. Next month, ten times that. Businesses shut down mid-week to pray with people. Your home is full. All the time. Hungry are fed. Streets are reached. Everybody, every body, is filled with God.

This is way the heck beyond anything we have capacity to deal with.

I see politically in our country: it doesn’t matter who you vote for, politics will not save us this time. We must trust One, and only one.

We can’t leave. “What happens if all the people left?”

David: Here are four things that I’m hearing for the Northwest. (Vancouver to NorCal.)

--We’ve heard a fair number of prophecies about disasters in the NW, usually earthquakes & volcanoes.

o I believe that the revelation is accurate, but the interpretation is often mistaken.

o My sense is that God wants to accomplish drastic things in the social realm, in the spiritual realm, possibly even the political realm, not the physical.

• East coast prophets: “We can’t stop this.”

o “They can’t stop it. This isn’t their territory.” That’s our job.

o Gatherings of prophets/intercessors/odd apostle: Speak to the land: small earthquakes/volcanoes, instead of large. Prohibit spirit of fear that wants to ride the reports, and the events. Declare life & hope while we’re at it.

• Better interpretations:

o Earthquake: shaking up things that haven’t changed in a very long time.

o Volcano: bringing things out of the depths back to the surface.

o Tsunami: water. Fresh wave of move of HS, of Kingdom.

• This is not saying that we’ll never have a significant earthquake; we live on the ring of fire. I’m saying that many of the prophecies of disaster have been misinterpretations of legitimate revelations.

--The PNW is a storehouse of prophetic gifts for the nation & the world.

o There’s a lot of prophetic gifting up here. A whole lot of those gifts (people) have kept themselves free from “the system.” I believe we have a responsibility to share the wealth.

--This is a season when God is unleashing women.

• Gentlemen, this is more than just getting out of their way.

o This involves making a place at the table, drawing them out. It may involve repentance. It will involve submitting to their leadership & discernment.

o It does NOT mean that we sit down & shut up. This is not “Them instead of us,” which is how the world has tried to teach it to us. This is “Them with us,” or “us with them.”

o We would be fools to expect women to become “Men in disguise.” Part of the shift is making room for women to be strong as women.

• Ladies, this is more than theory. Don’t wait for someone to make a place for you. for someone to draw you out or repent for past mistakes. This isn’t about defying leadership. This IS about partnership, team. This isn’t about doing things the ways men do things.

• Mostly, we don’t know what this is going to look like. So don’t pretend you understand what this is going to look like. “We have [mostly] not been this way before.” Because this is new, we will make mistakes. It’s OK. Get up, dust yourself off, repent if you need to, and move on. Expect to get better at this as we do more of it: share the wisdom.

--This is a season for releasing broken people to ministry.

• People that know Jesus – but still have wounds, issues, sin – are able to minister what they do have. Jesus example:

o The Gerasene demoniac: that morning, he’s living in the tombs, chock full of demons, drooling on himself. That afternoon, he’s Jesus’ representative to the Decapolis, to ten cities.

o Woman at the well: that morning, she’s “living in sin.” That afternoon, she’s assigned as an evangelist to Samaria, and she’s good at it.

o Are they healed yet? Do they have jobs yet? Do they even have their own home yet? Gerasene’s only home is the graveyard. Her only home is with they guy she’s not married to. Yet they minister.

Glen: We are sons and daughters of God, joint heirs. I don’t go to doctors, but I had a heart attack in October. I knew I was either going to heaven or I was going to get a new heart. Jesus is my doctor. He gave me a new heart in October. He gave me a new knee about 8 years ago.

Don’t back down; be persistent.

I had a dream, 2-3 weeks ago. I know quite a lot about deliverance. I saw demon possessed people delivered, bam, bam, bam. We are the body of Christ. Thanks for letting me come to church here with you. I want a new heart, and I want the job of delivering people.

Diana. Had a vision in church. You can still get visions in church. I saw a banqueting table. “Quit picking up the crumbs.” Sometimes we believe too little of what God is providing for us. God has had me in Romans 12. We are all there together. I came here today, not knowing anybody here except my husband. But when I came, I knew I belonged. We need all of us, and we need to all exercise our gifts. Keep speaking into other peoples’ lives.

What is God saying? Focus. We need to focus. Also: some prophets don’t want to come to the NW because it’s dark. But Jesus is a light in the darkness. And Jesus is in us. Immanuel. People didn’t perceive, didn’t receive Jesus. (So they may respond to us similarly.) Holy Spirit is here to lead us to all truth. People have difficulty recognizing God with us. But HS is God IN us, and that’s even harder. You have every gift of God in you. When you go to represent him, look for the darkest place, and bring light there.

Elijah had revival on the mountain: fire from heaven. But before the week was out, Elijah was depressed, alone, hiding in the cave. “I’m all alone.” God spoke to him, quietly. “I have 7000 yet, who have not bent knee to Baal.” God has thousands yet who have not bent knee to Baal, to that which takes our eyes off Jesus, off what he’s doing.

Blind Bart: “Jesus, son of David, have mercy.” The people in the revival tried to hush him up. Jesus stopped the parade, went back to minister to one. “What would you have me do for you?” “I want to see!” Jesus found it more important to heal one, that one, than to minister to thousands.

Jesus said that those who follow him will be despised, hated, cast out. Don’t feel bad if you get thrown out of your church, Jesus got thrown out of his. He makes crooked paths straight. We have lots of crooked paths in the NW. How is he making crooked paths straight around you if he’s in you? You are the vessel to make that crooked path straight.

I know what man has to say. I know what I was raised up to believe. I’m tired of the status quo doctrine & dogma. Please teach me, Father, what you have to say. I’m willing to throw my theology out the window in order to receive that which is fresh and new. He wants to fill us with Him, not traditions of the fathers, not religion. We are to BE the light of the world, the city set on a hill to shine forth.

Sometimes people push me off because of what I see and hear from God. But they pushed Jesus off too. It’s not actually about who we are; it’s about who He is. We spent 20 years in the darkest part of Mexico, demonology, idolatry, syncretism. “Why don’t I see in the Spirit?” “Because if you saw all that the enemy was doing, you’d never get anything done for me.

When I was ready to throw my theology out, God told me, “Grace is grace. You cannot mix grace and the Law. Grace has been accused by the law, by the Pharisees, of coming from the devil. Jesus was called Beelzebub. They say that mercy from grace is too easy. Law wants to kill grace, as it will lose controlling power. Jesus is grace alive among us. He was accused by legalists, Pharisees, of being of the devil. They arrested him, killed him, to keep their control. But as he arose from death, so grace arises to bring life.”

Thank God it’s a dark place. That’s where God shines the best. You are the light he’s shining. He may not lead you to multitudes, but he may lead you to one, by the roadside, “Have mercy on me.” He’s shown us pieces of what he’s doing. From the beginning, his plan is about bringing glory to himself by bringing salvation to those lost.

“God’s will may look much different than we think; don’t try to box it in.” Dream: pain in my heart. “Part of my word is being misrepresented.” What does the Kingdom of the grace of Jesus look like? “You can’t imagine.” We try to box in what the will of God is, but 1 Corinthians 2:9: no mind can conceive what God has in mind. Ask! Seek! Try! Imagine! But you can’t imagine: it’s bigger, better. Jesus didn’t come to condone disobedience. He came to say Grace, Discernment, Love: these are the important things, more than enforcing. It’s not the law: that’s just the tutor, to bring us to this place.

The woman at the well: Jesus uses the person we can’t even imagine to bring life, grace.

Heather: Nazgul: their only weapon is fear.

Dream: hoards of hell marching on the NW. The 9 of them, the gifts, could see. At a certain time every day, they trained on some giant eagles: scary, but good. Eagles were doing this only because God said so.

When attack came, Nazgul would fly out to terrorize our army. (Our army: 2 mil; theirs: 100 million demons. ).

By the gifts & fruits of spirit, we have to take down fear, which wants to take out our army.

Note: we didn’t over-think it. We just did what God said. Hope I didn’t leave the stove on.

Some said, “You know that’s not real.” Right. “I’m not going to waste my time fighting those I’m trying to save.

Dara Casey: Bright blue. I was waiting for a young person to go first. A word from years ago: the NW had an orphan spirit. God showed me that the orphan spirit and the poverty spirit were married: a union. Because we’ve accepted orphan, poverty, therefore our children have had orphan, poverty spirit.

Hebrews 12:6-9: a sign of being an orphan: not receiving discipline. In the NW, our independent spirit, we’ve chosen to not receive discipline. So our children have suffered. Not known their identity.

Since January: I’ve been seeing birds. I’m a seer: I see, and I make things to bring what I see into the natural.

When I first heard about this convocation, I had no good word. Soon, younger generation came: “We want to be around you & learn. So teach us.” I had to adjust my lifestyle. Young lady, wanting what God has put in me. She got me a nest w 3 little pearls: God speaking to me about hatchlings. We must come together to protect the children. Hatchlings: small animals, hungry for more, just hatching out. Some have never been able to be hatched, because nobody has been willing to brood over them, like HS does. We’ve been unwilling to share our heart, because we’ve been hurt.

There are so many deaths in the past six months. Sad: they don’t get to see their grandchildren, great grandchildren. Our job is to nurture the Kingdom, to nurture the children. We do not have an orphan spirit. We have been adopted. We’re going to carry the fire of God. The Pacific Rim has been designed to carry the fire of God.

Hatchlings need to be brooded over. The need to be fed when they hatch. They need the DNA of the Father.

Someone adds: they need to be let loose and set free from the nest.

George: from the end of the world: Raymond, WA. Have you ever hungered for something? For a move of the HS? So thirsty, you’ll do anything. Hungry to see souls saved that you’ll do anything to speak a word? So eager for the revival we’ve talked about. If you’re not hungry, you’ll not receive it. If you’re not thirsty, you won’t drink.

Trying to meet with other pastors in Raymond. “I’m not sure you’re supposed to be here.”

I go to the café in Raymond, have coffee with the boys. Share as I can. Last night, saw movie Amazing Grace: as he kept contending, they finally got it. Somehow we can fight this battle. I’m challenged to keep contending. Keep visiting jail, keep building relationship, keep on keeping on. God is calling the church to contend for the faith.

Whatever he gives us, we have to contend for it. We need to fight for our faith.

Terry from Spokane. Acts 17:26: God has put us in our territories, assigned us. We are to stand in that authority.

In 1999, painted a painting: vision for two hours. Not a lovely one. Art in Senate before 9/11 (sponsored by Rick Santorium). This isn’t to be beautiful, not for living rooms. My giant paintings are covered in scriptures, artistically: it’s the only scripture some people will ever see.

Todd Adams: I came to share what God has told us how to minister in our space. In 3 minutes or less.

There’s practice in that: people out there who we really want to speak to: we may have only 3 minutes. Else we go to tattoo parlors, where they hold still.

Honor is something you give. Not get. Not allowed to require from others. Recently, I’ve had people try to honor me.

People aren’t interested in the 4 spiritual laws. But people want to see lives.

People have changed nations in a day. The world won’t understand that.

Church is divided: People who love history, or people who love Jesus.

Only those who are called will respond to the testimony. Must start in prayer.

Standing on chairs to call prophets? We need to do that for prodigals.

There is no knowledge that will come against us that did not originate in the Father. New Age came from the Father. They don’t submit to Father. Don’t be afraid of that stuff. Learn it. Challenge them: You can’t do it anymore.

We’re waiting for Him to manifest on the earth. He’s waiting for us to manifest him.

Don’t ask if you should. Ask if you may.

Do what you’ve never done before. Don’t be caught in the trap. Do what nobody’s doing.

Gary: Cameron & I out in the streets, doing kingdom stuff. Kind of scary; witches come after me. When you start speaking truth, you get people angry. Truth is not in vogue anymore.

In the trenches. I need wisdom. I’m afraid for what’s coming down. Asking Lord for help. Recently started, “Pastoral Care Network,” in response to prophetic word about remodeling the church. Worse than being on the street. We’re called to reach the lost before the end comes.

I’m afraid for people like Cameron: his assignment is Portland state. People get angry, show their teeth. No fear. I’m hearing that, trying to get that. Introduce Cameron.

Cameron. Through a series of visions, God called me to Portland State, but not for degree. Vision: healings, power being dumped out. Major mind-molding in all of Oregon. All the lies are propagated here. (God says, “Grace much more.”)

Some things have resonated. Healing is coming. If you want to see healing: take it to the streets. That’s where you’re going to see amputated limbs grow back.

We don’t talk a whole lot about the gift of miracles: the ability to do miracles. Dream (vision?): No sense of power/authority in the natural, but ability to reach into Spirit. Walked into car: healed broken necks, scoliosis, healed broken people. Healed a broken bike. I see that this will only come through Jesus. But there’s such a need. Such a need for the power of God poured in the streets. Word about Nineveh? Wicked society. I can’t walk in that without authority from on high. I know I walk in that, but why the Tupperware lid between us? Jonah had an anointing to see an entire nation repent. There’s power there.

Authority, outpouring that we desire, happens when go out. In dark places, it’s like we’re preaching in an anechoic chamber: no resonance, no reflection. Jesus, help us!

Who’s molding all this? I know God wants to change it all!

Thanksgiving is a powerful thing. It battles depression, darkness.

Persistent Prophetic Warfare

Comment: This is not your typical prophetic word. This is a prophet clarifying the work of the prophetic to which many of us here in the northwest are called. Understand the warfare that you are a part of, take appropriate action, and do not let anything stop you.

Persistent Prophetic Warfare

From my experience there are two “branches” of Persistent Prophetic Warfare. There is what the Persistent Prophet continually does to wage war against the forces of darkness. And, there is what the forces of darkness continually do to wage war against the Persistent Prophet.

Of course, this is also generally true for ANY Child Of God. All born-again believers WILL have to wage war against the forces of darkness – it is written – and WILL suffer backlash and setbacks from that effort – which is also written. There is NO escape. It is our collective reality – and God has made this struggle plain in His Word. From God’s point of view, we are clearly to expect – by faith – that there will be victories, and we are also clearly warned that there will be struggle.

It was the same for Jesus Himself.

But I am writing about that particular subset of the overall battle called “Persistent Prophetic Warfare.” And more importantly, about the enemy’s objective and the tactics meant to bring Persistent Prophetic Warriors down.

The scriptural references that apply are legion, I know you know them, so I will be limited in using them and write more from my heart.

Let’s assume that if you are on my email “to” list [where this article was first published], that I consider that you already know you have a Prophetic Call of some kind – whether it is the primary Call on your life – a complimentary or secondary Call – or you have intimate knowledge about or experience with those that do have a Prophetic Call. Let’s also assume that as “experienced” prophets we have already exhibited decades of proven experience – and have had ongoing struggle as we have “walked out our faith.”

We have been Persistent Prophetic Warriors.

The enemy is not stupid. When satan sees that you are being obedient and affective – especially long term – he will do whatever he needs to do to “take you out.” He will also be persistent. He will continue to attack your day job, those to whom you report to – like bosses or supervisors, your finances, family, friends, your prophetic “vision”, your health, etc. ...even your effort to continue on with life itself. Misunderstanding, rejection, weakness, shame, embarrassment, disappointment, doubt, fear, and sickness may be your “familiar reality.” You may even be called in front of legal authorities multiple times and find yourself having to repeatedly defend yourself for things you may or may not have actually done. Your family, friends, Christian friends, and co-workers may question you and turn away from you many times.

At points you may loose your prophetic vision too – as these things repeatedly rise up to overwhelm you – and not just in ones and twos – but multiple avenues of warfare coming against you over and over – and over long periods of time.

Effective Prophets sometimes fight on with few friends understanding what they are doing. Effective Prophets may feel the sting of isolation and wonder why they have so many victories, so little recognition, and so much struggle and discouragement. Prophets will know the Juniper Tree.

And, if Satan can’t destroy you, he will try to distract you.

He will try to separate you from your First Love – and divert you away from your Calling and mission.

He will try to keep you focused on material things: your money, house, cars, clothes, tools, other worldly possessions, and the struggle to get and maintain them. He will try to make work and your ministry overwhelm you: with diverted time, an appeal to selfishly excel, and constant dissatisfactions with procedures, policies, bosses and co-workers. He will try and disappoint you with your family and friends. At times they will be indifferent toward you, neglect you, and – as in my case – outright reject you. He will try and bring fear into your life through the personal, national and international issues we are all facing. He will attack your health, ability to rest, cause you to be dissatisfied with your own level of fitness – and anything or everything else about you. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Satan will use whatever he can to separate you from the Love of Jesus, the Voice and Power of the Holy Spirit, the Absolute Care of our Heavenly Father, and the CALL He Himself has placed on your life.

You will have Battle Fatigue.

You will have battle fatigue. Not much fun, huh?

Hardened combat soldiers – those who continue to wage effective war on the battlefield against the enemy – ARE going to be the enemy’s target.

Experienced Prophet warriors – those who continue to wage effective war against the forces of darkness and win – ARE going to be satan’s target.

Both are going to face exhaustion. Both are a great threat to the enemy – and the enemy is going to direct his resources toward the greatest threat.

There is that element of combat experience where the soldier and Prophet get to the point that life and death, victory and defeat don’t matter.

Continue the Fight.

What matters is continuing the fight. Because continuing the fight is right.

So, be careful to face up to the fact that you are in this thing – Persistent Prophetic Warfare – for the long haul – and that in a certain sense (understand this with godly wisdom) “you” don’t matter.

What matters is far greater than ourselves or any earthly kingdom. What matters is Jesus and the Kingdom of God – and that in the heat of battle you continue to recognize the enemy, continue keep your weapons aimed at him, and continue pulling the trigger.

If victory comes, which it most surely will, there will come a time when your Reward is made known.

Jesus Himself will not forget you – either in the fight or afterward.

The Holy Spirit will continue to empower you and be your Advocate – both in the fight and afterward.

And, our Father will both dry your tears – and bring ultimate judgment.

As it is written: “God is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

He Himself said that He would “neither leave us nor forsake us.”

Be persistent.

Keep pulling the trigger.

Unlike combat soldiers, Prophetic Warriors have an unlimited supply of weapons and ammunition – and our Leadership does not fail.

A Time is Coming to the Pacific Northwest

A time is coming when the future will intersect with the now, and God will answer the prayers of the mother-protectors—the leaders and intercessors—of His Church. These are the ones who have faithfully prayed for God’s coming harvest. These are the ones who have been praying for the removal of the divisions and demonic strongholds within the churches that have greatly slowed the release of Gods power. These are the ones who have been praying for God “to separate what was holy from what was common” (Ezekiel 42:20).

A time is coming when God Himself will gather these men and women in a place of unity. A place of overcoming where the mountains that have previously blocked God’s plans will be turned into a source of blessings. A place of overcoming where the mountains that had—past tense—blocked the plans of God’s Kingdom, will be turned into watchtowers to overlook the plans of the enemy. A place where the cascades of the Holy Spirit will heal the divisions between the churches.

Then the heart of God’s people will be judged, but judged with fairness and love. Each person will be evaluated based on what they have done—how they have walked with God. All who have done well will be rewarded. Many will find they have produced rare and unique fruit. Good fruit, and of such an abundance that there will be enough to bring many into God’s Kingdom.

When this happens, God will open up His book of Wisdom and History-of-the-future. (This is God’s history of the future, and our God is an awesome, glorious, victorious God!) God himself will provide the strategy we need to cleanse the church. God’s light will shine on the windows of opportunity we need to act on. No longer will we walk in darkness.

God, the divine authority, will redeem His house and establish Godly unity and Godly government (perfected government) within His household. Then God will connect His Church to His Power, His River of Life. No longer will man-made structures block the flow of God’s Power and Love. God will pour out great blessing and power to those who work in His harvest fields.

To do this, God is looking for a people who can wholeheartedly repeat the following pledge. (This is a God-version of the 4-H pledge.)

I pledge my HEAD to better thinking, taking on the mind of Christ (under the headship of God). My HEART to greater loyalty, to the people and Kingdom of God. My HANDS to larger service, so all can see Jesus in Me. So that I may bring HEALING to my church, my community, my country, and my world.

One pattern of unity God will use in this time will be that demonstrated by the International Association of Healing Rooms. A pattern of unity where a passion for God and a love of God is more important than what denomination a person is part of. A unity that believes in and releases God’s supernatural Power to the world.

A number of people in the Pacific Northwest who are already part of the Healing Room ministries will find themselves called to this greater unity. Other people will find themselves called as well. Anyone who wants to align his or her heart with the heart of God is welcome. Anyone who is willing to humble themselves and submit to God’s authority will see the light of God shine throughout their community—spreading to their country and to the entire world!

When this happens, God will take the Columbia Basin—a Bowl “cut without human hands”—and fill it to overflowing with His Power and His Glory. (The phrase “cut without human hands” comes from Daniel 2:45.) Then we will truly begin to celebrate the final harvest.

Resisting Ambitious Strongholds.

In our last School of Higher Learning gathering on March 18, 2012. In that meeting reference was made to the spirit of David appearing in the government of this nation, and also to Daniel. I pointed out the fact that Daniel had a vision to describe and interpret the dream of Nebuchadnezzar.

My emphasis was on “visions” because I believe this is one of the strategic ways that God is going to infiltrate the government of this nation. It is happening right now. The reason I felt compelled to bring this to your attention now is because I just received another public email from Kim Clement which read, “I feel like I am standing like Daniel praying for the nation.” Kim then gives a brief excerpt about a vision he had. Of course it caught my attention. I have always found the prophetic ministry very fascinating. Not just because of my own personal love for it, but because it is so diverse. It’s like a spiritual Baskin-Robbins ice cream parlor: the flavors are many.

Yesterday, March 22, 2012, I was in this intense place of the spirit when all of a sudden I saw a portion of a news headline that read, “Two dead: Kabar…” and I was suddenly interrupted by a loud noise, which after becoming fully aware, turned out to be the office phone. I was certain I had turned it off. Normally I am able to block these things out, but this was not the case this time. As you can probably imagine, I was very upset not being able to read the complete news headline. I thought, “Kabar?” I have never heard of such a word. So, I did what any other spiritual individual would do in a moment like this, I went to the second all-knowing; Google.

Turns out that “kabar” could be one of three things:

A fighting knife issued to USA Marine Corps soldiers from 1942. It is also a colloquial nickname for the American 1219C2 USMC fighting knife. It could be a Turkish tribal confederation who lived in the vicinity of Poltava in the 9^th century. They consisted of three Khazar tribes who rebelled against Khazar Khaganate sometime in the 9^th century. Lastly, it could be a new type of grape which came into production in Hungary in 2006.

Given the fact that the headline began with “Two dead”, I doubt that it was a grape, unless they were very bad grapes. Please don’t let my humor minimize the weightiness of what I saw. It’s just that a partial vision like this, outside of a greater revelation, is in the same neighborhood of only seeing the first three letters of a license plate. Nonetheless, I have a strong sense that the symbol of “kabar” is nothing short of a spirit of death. Yes, I know it appears that we have a name for every spirit out there, but I assure you this is worthy of your attention. This is a call to stand against this spirit of death, this spirit of Kabar, which is nothing less than a political spirit trying to undermine the government of God in this nation.

Of course I will continue to lean into the Lord for the full meaning of what I saw. However, make no mistake; there is indeed an intense override that is pressing to reveal itself in this nation. As I write this I find myself in this odd place of serious humor. I was just hearing the lyrics of “Who let the dogs out.” Honestly, that’s not my song of choice. Yet, it somehow depicts the hour we are in. The dogs from hell have been loosed and they are determined to do their worst damage. However, there’s no need to fear, “Wonder Dog” is here. Hell’s best day will still be put asunder by the wonder of heaven on earth.

I am now seeing that what has happened is already done. In other words, the damage has already been done, it just hasn’t appeared yet. Nonetheless, what the enemy has already done behind the scenes, behind the governmental veil of this nation, has already been defeated. In the end, no weapon formed against the people of God will prosper. Therefore, let me encourage you that no matter what transpires over the coming days, keep your eyes on the intended goal of heaven on earth. Because of faithful and enduring people like you, the kingdom of God is becoming more and more apparent everyday. Now the spirit of Daniel is quickly emerging. I know you understand that I am not referring to the literal person of Daniel, but the realm of prophetic vision that was operating in his life. This is one of the many keys of heaven that God is using to set this nation and others on their intended course.

My Power Is In Portland

This city is a pivotal place of power says the Lord. A hinge on the door of revival. A foothold into the higher places of My glory. Many will pass through her and be saved. Portland is positioned for an open Heaven. Like the shepherds in the field by night, so will they be in this place of visitation. In the fields by night. I will set a precedence in Portland. Nations will look to her and be glad. A city upon a hill that cannot be hid.

I have positioned Portland says the Lord. A crossroads of My glory and power. Portland is a pinnacle of My presence. A Jerusalem, a Judah. In it you will hear My voice. From her streets you will find the treasures out of darkness that hold the secrets to the future. In her you will discover keys of revival and restoration, stored up for generations and generations. Prepare yourself O Portland for the former and latter rain. I am going to pour out on Portland, I am going to pour out on Portland.

In this hour I will break down the barriers that have separated church and state, church and street. I will force the issue of outreach and evangelism in this place. I will move the fire and water until My church follows. I will blow upon Portland's surplus until she obeys by command to go. I will close the doors of opportunity if she does not hear My voice, "Whom shall we send? Who will go for us?"

Portland is a spiritual power source. The enemy is trying to tap into it and steal the hidden treasure. Do not allow another generation to be lost Portland. Do not allow another day of visitation to set. Seize the moment Portland! Seize the day of the Lord! This is My appointed time, the day of your salvation is at hand. The day of My sovereign plan. Behold I stand at the door and knock Portland, behold I stand at the door and knock.

Do not overlook the youth, for in them you will find My heart. In their heart you will find My heart. Phenomena's amongst the youth are about to take place. Market place prophets in Portland, prophesying, preparing, the way of the Lord. Youth in the hi-ways and bi-ways of Portland with power and position possessing the land. Portland it is time to possess. How long will you be slack to go in and possess the land that I have promised your forefathers? Portland, I have promised the heathen as you inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth as your possession. Stir yourself O daughter, stir yourself.

I stand to the East and I knock. Then to the West and I knock. Now at the North I knock. In the South I will visit as well. In the South East I will come with a whirlwind and a fire. To the west I will throw down the walls that have divided. To the North I will come in like a flood washing away the debris of division. I am coming says the Lord! I am coming with My presence and power to Portland! The day that they have looked for afar off has come! The day of their visitation is here!

The Spirit of Samuel

Scripture reference: 1 Sam. Ch 1-4

The days of Eli are passing and the light of heaven has already begun to shine on the days of a Samuel & David generation.

Some prophets will weep, for the old order is passing away to make room for a new day birthed in the heart of God. The Spirit of Samuel has been birthed in the Hannah – like travail of intercession. This travail has been misunderstood by some but the result is the birthing of a new generation – so young, yet born with ears to hear the voice of God.

The Samuel anointing brings correction & balance to the church. Eli’s sons have ruled long enough. What was hidden in darkness will be brought to light and there will be no hiding from the spirit of God.

The order of Eli will fall backward as the righteousness of God leaps forward.

The neck of Eli will be broken – The Lord will sever the power of the rule of the intellect in favor of the rule of the heart within His Church.

The Samuels are ready. They were nurtured in the Holy Place of God’s presence. They have walked side by side with Eli, but they are not of the spirit of Eli. The Spirit of Samuel will arise within the hearts of many and they will govern in the power and authority of the Lord. The Samuel anointing will mature to become a father’s anointing and it will bring healing to the land.

When the Lord first spoke this word to my heart, I felt as if we were in the beginning stages of the release of a Samuel generation. In the first chapters of First Samuel, Hannah, whose name means favored (from the Hebrew root: to implore), is a picture of the today’s intercessors. Like Hannah, our intercessors have been misunderstood and even rebuked in their prayers (“Eli thought she was drunk 1:14). But through perseverance and in spite of mocking (1:7) the intercessors have birthed a new generation with a pure heart that follows after God. And just like Hannah brought a robe for Samuel year after year (2:19), today’s intercessors have been covering a generation with prayers and watching them grow.

Samuel grew up in the House of the Lord under the supervision of Eli the High Priest. Although, Samuel grew under Eli, he is not of the spirit of Eli. Eli had two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, whom the Bible calls “sons of Belial” (2:12). They were evil beyond description and filled with greed and lust. They corrupted God’s holy priesthood and treated the holy things of God with contempt. Eli was too weak of backbone to stop his son’s sinful ways and God sent a prophet to ask him, “Why do you honor your sons more than me?” (2:29)

Eli and his sons are a picture of the modern American church. Just as Eli was fat and weak and dim of vision (3:2) In the same way we have fattened ourselves with the blessings of God, using what was meant to bless others for ourselves. Meanwhile, the widow, the orphan and the poor are forgotten. Enriched by our greed we have lost humility and have become proud – to proud to listen to God or to follow Him. We favor our own human wisdom and intellect and justify our sins. The name Hopni comes from the Hebrew word for “fists,” and the name Phinehas comes from the root words “hiss of a serpent.” This describes well the quarrelling, bickering, gossiping, whispering, and malice seen within the church walls. And to our shame, the secret sins of the church are now broadcast on the evening news and on the covers of the newspapers. How many church congregations have been split and crippled by scandal.

But God says, “The sons of Eli have ruled long enough!!!”

Through the mouth of two prophets, including Samuel, God spoke judgment upon the house of Eli. And on the same day, the Ark of God was lost, the sons of Eli were slain, and Eli himself when he heard the news fell backward, (4:18) broke his neck, and died. The way Eli died, paints a picture for us of what the heart of God is in our day. God wants nothing of the spirit of Eli and his sons to be passed to the next generation. The old order has fallen backward (it will not be carried forward). The neck is the division between the head and the heart. God is severing the “head” that has ruled His church for too long in favor of the ‘heart”. The head symbolizes the intellect of man, our human wisdom, man’s plans, and man’s ways and traditions. The heart symbolizes relationship with God, intimacy with Abba Father, and one who’s own heart responds to the heart of God.

The Lord said, “I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind.” (2:35)

God chose Samuel. The Bible says, “Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord.” (2:21) He grew up beside Eli, but he had a different heart and spirit. In our day God is raising up a generation who’s heart yearns for the true presence of God; a generation with ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. God has called a generation of young men and women who hate sin and hypocrisy and who want to follow God with passion and obedience.

God is not passing the baton of the old order to this Samuel generation. What God is doing today in this generation is birthed from His heart and will be a marked contrast to “business as usual” Christianity. Many in the church will mourn the passing of Eli, and will even try to resurrect the old ways, for that is all they have ever known. For a season Eli and Samuel will dwell in the same house side by side. But soon Samuel will emerge to his calling. When this Samuel anointing has matured, it will bring the Father’s heart and healing to the church and to the land. The widow, the orphan, and the poor will no longer be forgotten.

Today, I feel we are farther along in the release of the Samuel generation than we were 5 years ago when this prophetic word was first given. Today, the picture I get in my heart is a picture of Samuel standing in a doorway with one foot on the threshold and hands on both lintels of the door. Samuel is looking to the horizon and a new day is dawning. Soon he will step out of the house of Eli and walk forward to his destiny as a prophetic generation. God will be the guide of this generation, but they will need godly mentors. They are throwing off the robe of Hannah they have now outgrown, to replace it with a mantle of anointing from God. This mantle still fits too big on their shoulders, the Samuels will need mentors, godly men & women who know the heart of God. These mentors will need to lay aside the traditions and methods of the old order. We must not mold this new generation after ourselves! Instead, we are to come beside them to encourage and support. We will ask, “What are you hearing from God?” And our response to the answer will always be the same: Say to the Lord, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.”

On the day the Samuels go forth, the praying Hannah’s will say as Hannah of old: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies for I delight in your deliverance…those who were hungry, hunger no more…He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.” (2:1-10)

Keep praying for the Samuels. And if one happens to cross your path, come beside him or her to mentor and encourage as Barnabas mentored Paul. Send the Samuels out with prayer and financial support and whey they return, bind up their wounds, love them, and send them out again.

Seven Arrows in Chelan

Introduction:

There are huge mineral and precious metal deposits in the State of Montana. Montana is an untamed land that is an earthly picture of Heaven. Montana is a little piece of Heaven on earth. There are earthly and Heavenly deposits of wealth and treasures in this beautiful and wild State of Montana.

Montana means "Mountain" or "Mountainous".

It is known as the "Big Sky" State.

Also known as the "Treasure State".

The state Motto is "Oro y plata" meaning Gold & Silver.

Montana is the 4th Largest state and 44th most populous.

From these Heavenly storehouses found resident in the wilds of Montana, the Lord is releasing His Arrows toward the West. Many are seeking targets in Central Washington in the towns of Wenatchee, Yakima, Vantage, and Chelan.

God will release 7 Arrows from Montana/Heaven into the land in and around Chelan and Manson, Washington. These Arrows will "Anchor" Heavenly Portals and Agendas to the land, connecting Heaven to earth and earth to Heaven.

The Seven Arrows are:

1. A Golden Arrow - sets the "gold standard" against which all things are measured.

~ There is a standard - set in Heaven - that will become the standard of earth.

~ There is uncompromising accuracy with Heaven's Gold Standard.

~ We will begin to value things as God values them.

~ A little goes a long way!

2. A Silver Arrow - sets the tone for Redemption and brings the Resonance of Heaven.

~ There is a color to Redemption.

~ You see your reflection in the color of redemption.

~ Redemption has a sound and a range of frequencies that are tuned to redemption.

~ Redemption's frequencies resound and reverberate in Heaven.

3. A Diamond Arrow - is the Father's Arrow - characterized by:

~ clarity of Being

~ purity of Love

~ the strength of strengths

~ brilliance beyond bright

~ many facets in a vast array of Color

~ refraction of Light

~ dispersion of Energy

This represents the "God Connection".

4. A Ruby Arrow - is the Son's Arrow - characterized by:

~ saving Power

~ relational Dynamite

~ exceptional Beauty

~ absolute Grace

~ wondrous Connectivity

~ frightening Wisdom

~ irresistible Light

~ unbounded Love

This represents the "Son or Christ (Anointed) Connection".

5. A Sapphire Arrow - is the Spirit's Arrow - characterized by:

~ unlimited Capacity

~ spectacular Presence

~ extraordinary Revelation

~ disarming Comfort

~ brutally honest Truth

~ deep Mystery

~ penetrating Power

~ luminous Love

This represents the "Spirit Connection".

6. A Broken Arrow - is the Arrow of Broken Humanity and represents the wonder of the Salvation of mankind through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ.

This represents the "Human Connection".

7. A Sensible Arrow - is a Mysterious Arrow - It may have to do with the term "sensible-horizon" which is an astronomy term meaning "the small circle of the celestial sphere whose plane is tangent to the earth at the position of a given observer, or the plane of such a circle (sensible horizon)." It may also refer to an Arrow that will open a portal to Heavenly realms where our senses, which are golden in the spirit, are highly tuned and activated. God seems to be interested in calibrating our spirits to be aligned with His design and purpose. This Sensible Arrow is going to enable us to be rooted in the heavenly places.

This represents the "Kingdom Connection".

About the Arrows

The SOUNDS of these arrows are going to tune the atmosphere to the sounds of heaven.

~ Each Arrow has a specific set of Sounds associated with it.

~ There is a Sound of each Arrow when it is Released from the Bow.

~ There is a Sound of each Arrow in Flight.

~ There is a Sound of each Arrow as it Strikes the Land.

~ There is a Sound of each Arrow that it releases in the Land.

~ Each of these Sounds is different - but related to the others of that Arrow.

~ The Sounds of the Arrows, when heard together, form a Symphony or Song.

~ This becomes the Song of Chelan.

The PLACES pierced by these arrows will anchor heavenly portals to the land.

~ Arrows will fall in different places.

~ The places, when viewed together, form a pattern that represents something

Heavenly

~ We are allowed to be active in interacting with Heavenly portals.

~ Learn to Ask lots of Questions. Inquiry is a good habit to form when dealing with

the supernatural realms in Heavenly places.

The FEATHERS guiding these arrows come from heavenly living creatures.

~ There are creatures in Heaven just like there are creatures in the earth.

~ Not all of these "feathers" look like bird feathers.

~ Each "feather" is unique and has a specific purpose.

~ Much of the understanding of this revelation Falls under the category of things God

has created for His pleasure and our delight.

~ Don't get so focused on precise definitions and loose sight of the Beauty Realm.

The SOUND of the bow string releasing the arrows will establish a sound in heaven that will connect heaven to earth.

~ This Sound carries a Violence with it.

~ It has Creative and Destructive Power to Create space for foundations.

~ This Sound will be felt as Shakings.

2012 the Year of Divine Alignment

As I have been praying to the Lord about the New Year, the Spirit of the Lord began to speak to me many things concerning 2012. One major point that I will share at this time has to do with “Divine Alignment.” This is a “Grass Roots Prophecy,” meaning it is on a personal level for the Individual that will powerfully affect their lives and then will blossom into impacting the world around them. 2012 will be a powerful and fulfilling year for the believer. Much to look forward to.

1. 2012 is a Turning Point Year for Many

Many started the “Turning Point” in 2011 with a “Change of Thinking.” True repentance that brings desired results always begins with a change of thinking, and then it must be accompanied with a “Daily Resolve,” that is a determination in ones heart to change. This must be “followed with a course of action.” God wants us to line up with the very center of His will so we can have the Fullness of the Promises. Grace and Mercy is available to all who desire to Turn.

2. 2012 is a Year of Divine Alignment

The “Heavens Declare the Glory of God;” in 2012 there will be a Heavenly Alignment in the center of our Galaxy. But greater than this, is there will also be a “Divine Alignment” for the Believers in 2012. The Purpose of this Alignment is to bring the Believers into the “Very Center of God’s will for their lives.” This may be why the Church, or the Believer has not yet experienced the greater success that they desire, because they may be a little off center; and God also has a Timing for all things. But this is a Year where the Believers who are asking God to bring them into the very center of His will for their lives, will be positioned for greatness as they are “Divinely Aligned.” We will hit the Mark as we pray for Divine Alignment; Divine Alignment is so the “Believers can Declare the Glory of God.”

3. 2012 is a Year of the “Spoken Word” in Action and Power

All things were created by the Spoken Word of God. Because of the Divine Alignment, the Spoken Words of the Sons and Daughters of God will be released in greater power and authority. Kingdom of God Authority will be greater in and through the lives of the Believers, because they will have “Spoken Power” to make Declarations that will see God’s Power manifest. Many will be amazed by the power of the Spoken Word flowing through them. Heroes of the Faith will rise out of obscurity and shine for the Glory of God.

A finely tuned and aligned instrument resonates with sound. An orchestra that is finely tuned and aligned brings forth a beautiful harmony. Divine Alignment in the church will see a greater release of harmony, unity, and power, as the Glory of God will fill the house and cover the earth. 2 chr.5:13,14 There are some words that, once spoken, set the wheels of destiny in motion, and there are also some actions that speak volumes. This is the life of the one who is Divinely Aligned in 2012! As Children of God we will speak words and make declarations that will affect destiny, open doors, and see God’s power bring salvations, healings and restorations.

4. 2012 is a Year of Increase and Acceleration

Believers will be “Aligned for Greatness” in 2012. As they are they will find themselves in the Right Place, at the Right Time, with the Right Attitude, and this will result in Increase and Harvest, Radical Recovery, and Rapid Resource. God will restore losses and take His people to a new level in 2012.

Fear not children of God, but rather rejoice, for the Lord is with you, and the time of Divine Align is here and the Lord your God is Aligning you in this hour that you would shine for His Glory, “For the Knowledge of My Glory, says the Lord, shall cover the earth through you.”

Heavenly Father, I pray for each one who reads this prophecy, that You will show Your great mercy to them and give them grace and power to “Divinely Align” with You. We know that your Son Jesus paid a great price for our salvation. We are so thankful to be cleansed by the Blood of Jesus and made Joint-Heirs. We want to be in the Very Center of Your Will. We want to bring glory to You. We Love You Father so much.

ACPE Word of the Lord for 2012

The Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders met in late November to seek a word of the Lord for the coming year, as they have since 1999. Due to world-wide shaking, this was probably the most sobering council gathering to date. Many prophets around the world believe that the United States must make a major shift toward reformation in 2012 and that it will be a "do-or-die" year for the country to be re-established on the course of becoming the "city set on a hill" envisioned by our Founders.

Twelve in scripture represents government. This presidential election cycle will determine where we stand as a nation. The United States has already lost a measure of its greatness but, without a shift, will lose even more in the coming days. In the Word for 2011, we felt it would either be a "tipping point year" or the year of the "perfect storm". Internationally, this seems to have been very accurate, as it was quite literally the perfect storm for Japan, much to our sorrow.

However, there was a sense that 2011's shaking was nothing like we'll see in the coming world-wide shaking. In the coming season, the whole Body of Christ must find her voice and authority in the nations of the earth and learn to "occupy" until He comes. The Council does not believe, however, that the end of the world will come in 2012, as some predict.

Shaking

There was a sense that Hebrews 12:27-29 was pertinent, as well as Revelation 12:10-12.

27 Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire. Heb 12:27-29 NKJV

Remember, our reality is that we live in a kingdom that cannot be shaken. We must hold fast to the unshakable one. What do we have in our lives that cannot be shaken" Find out. Those things that have shifted in this past season of purging and pruning will take us to a new and higher place in our lives and faith.

"10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time." Rev 12:10-12 NKJV

There is a coming shift where the Body of Christ will rise up as the "ekklesia" or legislative authority. Many pastors will throw off the bondages of political correctness and find their voice. Preachers will thunder from the pulpits and not compromise scripture. This will cause many politicians to realize that they have gone too far by standing in the place of the "accuser of the brethren" and the fear of the Lord will fall upon many.

This ekklesial shift will, for a time, cause the enemies' wrath towards believers, but they will find they have gone too far. The pastors of the United States and Europe will become the mouth pieces for both an awakening and a reformation. A new generation of Wesleys and Wilberforces will stand together and once again call for the church to rise as a moral authority.

This is an Acts chapter four season, where the enemy will persecute, but the church will counter in prayer like in days of old. Signs and wonders will break out and many will be saved. Religious systems will fall and what remains will be God"s remnant. We must hold our positions without wavering.

Counter-attacks against reformers will be fierce, as Satan fights back with great wrath. This will happen in the media, but those who attack will find themselves under fire as God takes up the battle. Out of this will arise the ekklesia as a shining light that cannot be shaken!

Do not be intimidated by these attacks and you will win. The church will find her voice. The liberal media will particularly come against those who are pro-life and pro-biblical defense of marriage. Hate crimes will be tolerated and called acts of justice.

First, a holiness movement will come to the church and sin will not be tolerated. Those who will not repent will be exposed, because the Lord will remove those who are in sexual sin and pornography from His pulpits.

Economies Will Shake

Several additional scriptures were given that point to global economic shaking.

"34 You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth." Dan 2:34-35 NKJV

This will be the time when God"s kingdom will become that which fills the whole earth. The ekklesia will be the mountain that fills the whole earth. It was not given to us what this all means, but we had a surety that He has a plan. As the mountains crumble, God has prepared His people in banking, economics, education and governments who will have the answers. Even the military will change its systems.

Europe is going to shake, shake, shake. The EU, who felt they could leave God out of their government and even imprison pastors for preaching the gospel, is going to be dealt with by God, Himself. In the midst of the shaking, God is going to awaken the church as never before seen in history. Other nations such as Russia and parts of Asia will shake as well. In some nations, dictators will topple who have seemingly had such a deep hold on their nations that they have been considered immovable.

Many nations will experience rioting in the midst of the economic shakings. God will use this season to uproot the anti-Christ spirit, as many who were formerly favorable to "isms", such as Islam, will see it for what it truly is and turn to Christ. Turkey and Egypt will try to intimidate Israel. Again, the Lord spoke to us that we must stand with Israel.

Egypt will have its own Isaiah 19 season as God awakens the church in the squeeze and a great move of God will prevail in the end, even though for a season it will seem like the devil has the upper hand.

Even the United Nations will be shaken in this hour as never before and its agenda against Israel will be revealed.

Things are going to "crack open" financially. There will be a shaking of economic systems across the face of the earth. However, during this time, God will raise up his Josephs who have been prepared for this hour. The Lord was clear to us that we were not to get into fear.

We asked how to prepare and He said that we must have "crisis preparedness". This, we felt, meant that it was good to have some sort of provision, such as one would have in the event of an earthquake or some other disaster. While storing some amount of provisions was felt wise, there was a caution against hoarding motivated by fear.

"10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, 11 'Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, 'Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess.'" Josh 1:10-11 NKJV

There were three important things to remember in this season:

1. Face your fears.
2. Prepare provisions
3. Realize that the Kingdom of Heaven cannot be shaken.

Israel will continue prospering in the midst of this shaking and many will go there for advice about how to establish their banking systems. Israel is in an Isaiah 60 season.

Shut the Door

It was sensed from Isaiah 22:15-22 that God wants His church "shut the door" to those who will try to stand in the highest offices of the nations who do not have a father"s heart for the people. Dramatic shifts will take place in election cycles. Some politicians are in the balance and will either vote righteously or go into a deep darkness.

In the United States elections, God is going to "blow away" the covering of some people and reveal the truly righteous and conservative. We are calling for a year of prayer and fasting for the nation. The United States has one year to shift or be seriously shaken.

Three Mountains of Influence

"25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem when they had fulfilled their ministry, and they also took with them John whose surname was Mark." Acts 12:25 NKJV

"1 Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." 3 Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away." Acts 13:1-3 NKJV

It is a new season for the prophets and the teachers to function together. The teaching gift and a strong foundation in the word of God must team up to keep deception out of the church. We need to recognize those who are in the office of the teacher and "set them in" just like we do the other ministry gifts.

This is especially important this year as the three most important mountains this year will be the church/religion, the family, and the government. God told us that He is bringing families back together and that we should place a focus on them. He is going to heal and restore family relations.

Also, the local church, functioning as the ekklesia of God will change nations in a greater way than we have seen in America since revolutionary days, when pastors went to war for freedom. The spirit of religion will be exposed in the places where it has operated with political correctness.

As the above scripture shows, with Barnabus, Saul and Mark, this is a time of God connecting the generations for ministry. It is a season of mentoring. The Elijah's and Elisha's will stand together. Mantles will shift, as from Moses to Joshua and from the John the Baptist's who have been preparing the way for a new Jesus People generation.

We will see a new missions move where many will hear the call of God to go to the ends of the earth in a measure that we have not seen since the Student Volunteer Movement with J.R. Mott. Many new women will arise in leadership as God raises up a great company of women. It's a Psalm 68:11 season: "The Lord giveth the word: the women that publish the tidings are a great host."

A rising movement of compassion ministries who will fight human trafficking will give the church a voice in society as never before. A plumb line from heaven will drop against sex traffickers. Revelations will come out, even about the involvement of top political leaders who are in sexual sin and it will shock the world. (Note: subsequent to our meeting, a world-wide exposure of sex trafficking made the news)

The Year of the House

"12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13 And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'" 14 Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them." Matt 21:12-14 NKJV

This is the year of the house. The family represents the house as well as the church. The ekklesia will become the house of prayer for all nations. This will purge those who have not shifted away from all political correctness. We will be able to see where the true wheat is and where the tares have grown up alongside. This is in God"s purpose so we will be able to see on what side people are standing. We must even be willing to sacrifice our not-for-profit status to speak the truth.

Pride will be revealed and a new humility will come to Christian leaders. The result will be that those willing to become a house of prayer will see great signs and wonders. Mass deliverance will break out and many will be supernaturally set free of deep bondages. There will be another Jesus People movement.

We received the word that the Lord wants a "prayer saturated church" and that He wants the whole church to pray - not just a select few. This word led us to see that God wants us to pray that the prayer movement in the United States would be restored. He reminded us of our prayer history:

1980's - A great move of God with an emphasis in the local church of early morning prayer and of praying the Lord's Prayer.
1990's - The prayer movement became mainly para-church and much was accomplished through initiatives such as AD2000 and Praying Through the Window. This opened many nations for the gospel as they had never been opened before. Also, Dr. Bill Bright led a movement of fasting and prayer.
2000's - God raised up the house of prayer movement on campuses. This will continue and escalate, but prayer is going to return to local churches in a measure that we have not seen, until the whole church is praying. The zeal for His house of prayer is going to return. (John 2:17)

Children and Youth

"42 And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. 43 When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And Joseph and His mother did not know it; 44 but supposing Him to have been in the company, they went a day's journey, and sought Him among their relatives and acquaintances. 45 So when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him. 46 Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. 48 So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, "Son, why have you done this to us" Look, your father and I have sought You anxiously." 49 And He said to them, "Why did you seek me" Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business"" Luke 2:42-49 NKJV

Even the children and youth will be affected by this coming prayer movement. Awakenings of both children and youth will sweep the earth. Jesus was twelve when he astounded the wise. There will be a generation of children and youth, especially the "tweens" who will arise in this hour like at no other time.

The prophetic promise to Jesus of Psalm 110:3 will be manifest, "Your people shall be volunteers in the day of your power. In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of your youth."

Lou Engle puts it this way, "In the dark hours before dawn, the youth begin to collect. The ground that was dry before now sparkles as far as the eye can see. It is the enemies' worst nightmare to go to sleep, only to awake the next morning surrounded by an army that materialized out of thin air! What had been an empty field is now filled with soldiers whose weapons glint in the sunrise. Literally overnight, an army of devoted young people is going to arise out of this present darkness. This vast youth army is already mobilizing. Invisible now - Invincible later."

Cindy Jacobs adds, "This is God's breaker-of-the-dawn army! Fresh troops for the battle, burning with holiness and fiery with passion for the Lord! They are beautiful in holiness, and have the anointing to throw off the shackles of abortion, poverty, pornography, and sexual sins of all kinds, including homosexuality."

"Extreme holiness will be the order of the day. Counter-culture warriors who love God more than sleeping in, who give up the thrill of entertainment because they are enamored with the beauty of holiness. There is nothing more beautiful than holiness. The seduction of the world cannot hold a candle to it. It is lovely beyond description. No poet can use human words to describe its essence. They have fallen in love with the Lord Jesus Christ and He is beautiful beyond description."

Your Transfer Has Begun!

A couple of nights ago the weather news in our area caught my attention. They said, “The high in our region would climb into the 60’s” which is a bit odd for this time of the year, to say the least. That is Fahrenheit to those who are Celsius. The newscast went on to make humor about the inability to predict just what kind of weather was going to be next. I was reminded of our meeting at New Sound Church in Mountlake Terrace, WA. On 11-11-11.

The Lord said, “The seasons at the end of this year 2011, and the coming year 2012, would become unpredictable.” He went on to say, “This will be a sign to you that the power of prediction is being transferred from the hands of the world into the hands of the people in My kingdom.” I have also seen the lack of prediction in the political world as well, especially when it comes to the next republican presidential candidate. All of the political analysts seem to have their opinion, but no one dares to predict the outcome.

Therefore, God is waving the flag of “prediction” toward the people of God. He is saying, “This is your opportunity to seize the power of prediction concerning My intentions in the earth. Your transfer has begun” I believe this power of transfer has always been available to whosoever will. However, few still dare to take the leap of faith, away from personal opinions, into the voice of the Spirit. Nonetheless, the power of transfer for this nation has already begun.

In 2012, one of my personal goals in life is to work myself further out of being a prophet to the people in the church, and become a prophet on behalf the people, in the kingdom of God. In other words, I want to be a prophet that speaks the word of the Lord from the midst of His people, to the world. This means, until the emphasis of prophecy to the people in the church becomes less; prophecy in the world will never reach its maximum potential. I pray you can hear this. In 2012, I will walk and live as a prophet greater than any other time in my ministry. However, it will be quite different than it has ever been before. This is the year for great and unusual exploits.

One of the ways to ensure that the body of Christ rises to the occasion in 2012 is to enable them to walk in a new field of prophetic utterance, beyond previous comprehension. In this year, it is imperative for the people of God to realize their fullest potential in the kingdom of God. God has given you a voice, His voice. As long as you view the voice of this prophet [any prophet] being greater than your voice, then you will always live beneath your destined purpose to become the voice of God in the earth.

This is not to say that we are not to respect those who have prophetically run the race before us in the Spirit of the Lord. In fact, showing great respect toward those who have laid down their life for the advancement of the kingdom of God is a necessary ingredient for the humility of God to take resident in our own life and generations to come. Which by the way, will be the enabling force that breaks the barrier of gifting alone, leading you into a realm of having your being in Him. I am not implying this realm has not already been given to us through the power of Jesus Christ; however, accessibility into this realm is still a very challenging factor in the body of Christ.

For some time now I have known that God is going to open unique doors in 2012. I have had a deep longing to prophetically release the word of the Lord in the market places. While the present platform at MTI has served as a unique place to equip, encourage, and speak into the nations, a tremendous desire to enter into cities and nations across the world has become a challenging force in my spirit.

A quick summary:

It will be imperative to be anchored in hope (Rom. 15:13), and not allow the enemy to steal our hope, no matter what.
Wisdom is returning to the American Church; She has returned to take over the Father's business. Knowledge + experience = wisdom; knowledge + wisdom = understanding. Wisdom is coming to bring new levels of understanding of the times. This understanding will enable us to know the right decisions to make and people will follow us.
Remnants are coming forth to be guides for the entire body of Christ; to show us what the Father requires. One thing He requires is love.
Your place in heaven depends on how much you learned to love. The only foundation that will stand is the one built on love.
It is a time for repentance; repenting for putting things, people, and even circumstances higher than God. We must spend more time loving the Lord than working for Him.
Lets learn to love Him and work alongside Him, because the Harvest is coming.

Elvin Gladney: City Gatekeepers.

This is a video of Elvin Gladney speaking to pastors, on the topic of the City Church. In this case, Elvin, from Seattle, is speaking to the city church of Portland.

This is an extremely powerful prophetic word, but it's different enough that it requires some introduction. Elvin is declaring a Kingdom view of the Church in a region; it's a remarkable change from how the church works now.

If you're a leader, a mentor, an influencer in the Body of Christ in your region, listen with a mind to learn from a mature apostle. Let's live, let's work for the Kingdom of God in the region, more than (not instead of) the local congregations.

If you're an intercessor, please pray for the leaders, the influencers in your region, that the Church in your region will grab ahold of the vision for the Kingdom of God in their community, more than (not instead of) the local congregations.

Something is happening in the Portland area. God is stirring something in Portland, targeting Portland. Pray for the move of God in Portland. Pray for the City Church in Portland, and in your own community.

Open Doors Lead to New Rooms

John is a Northwesterner, and has a beautiful description of the transition we're now experiencing, here in the Northwest. -ed.

Delta Doors

It has been 22 months [at the time this was written] since the Lord visited me with the strong message about "Delta" and "Doors." You may have noticed Paul Keith Davis' newsletter for August 2011 that was titled A Day of Open Doors. I find much encouragement through the revelations and writings of Paul Keith and I've noticed others have had "door" revelations in the past year. Still, my spirit has not been entirely at peace about this "door" message.

Passing through doors in the spiritual realm does not produce a change in circumstances without first producing a change within us. Doors represent transition. Transition is movement and movement often produces insecurity as we move from one balanced step to the next. In transition we often first pass through our expectations of what we think the change should look like. As the nature of change is to change us, the first thing often required is our expectation of what change should look like.

Let's go back [several] weeks to the pivotal time of Rosh Hashanah. There was much spoken of and prophesied about this season: earthquakes, huge changes in church as we know it, etc...

Two Things to Understand

Some prophetic words have a Kingdom (spiritual) realization but their manifestation on this plane is delayed.

For example, I believe there has been a significant change in "how America does Church." That change presently is the Kingdom realm – the spiritual realm – and may not be visible and demonstrated until a cataclysmic event sets it off. The stage has been set, but to say the change has occurred would be like inviting thousands of people to a concert a week before the musicians arrive.

The other thing to understand is the limitations of our linear, Greek-style of thinking.

As American Christians we are hard-wired to believe that events occur in a rational sequence. B follows A, four follows three, and any change in the Spirit is simply an extension of where we have already been. We seem to equate spiritual progress with job promotions. But to do this is prophesying from our tip-toes and can lead to dangerous speculation. Where we are presently is not someplace the Body has been before, nor it is a mere extension of where we were. The Lord's idea of progress is not the same as ours.

Open Doors Lead to New Rooms

Imagine a large, beautiful house. You have dwelt in this house for a long time. Your favorite room has become your "living" room. You know how the light enters the windows during certain times of the day and seasons of the year. You have a favorite chair or couch on which to rest and you've decorated the walls with symbols of desires, values and memories. We have a particular room like this. It contains our wood stove, a brick chimney and wood box, a handmade bookshelf with a few hundred books, one La-Z-Boy chair, a couch, and rocking chair. On the walls are a number of pelts – bobcat, wolf, coyote and badger – a buffalo skull, a European mount of a whitetail buck, an L. A. Huffman print of South Sunday Creek, a framed Ezra Riley book cover, two framed Wally Badgett cartoons, and chaps and spurs hanging in a corner.

It is a comfortable room and very Western. It reflects who "we" are, or more precisely, who I am. Imagine as you sit in your comfortable room that you suddenly notice a door you'd not seen before. Curiously, you rise from your comfort, crack the door open, and peer inside. The new room is dimly lit, so you enter to take a better look and the door closes behind you.

The door is stuck hard, but not locked. If you truly want to return to comfort it's possible, but an inner compass settles and centers you. You look about the new room. To your senses, there is not much here to like. The room seems very bare and the shades on the windows are drawn, making the room almost dark. But you do notice the floor is hardwood and the ceiling seems higher than normal.

The room and its atmosphere is very clean as if prepared beforehand, but you desire more air and light. You pull the curtains back and open a window. There is a view before you that you've not quite seen before. It's your yard, your place, but from a different angle. The light and fresh air brings a warmth to the room and you see that the floor is even more beautiful than you'd thought. It glistens in the sunlight.

What this room lacks is a personal touch. The foundation and atmosphere reflects His handiwork, but the walls are bare. You must personalize this room with your sanctified values, dreams, desires, and memories before it is fully yours to occupy. But there is no rush to do this.

And the room is strangely silent. If you put your ear to the wall you would faintly hear prophetic voices describing "new seasons" and "new doors" coming from the room you'd just left but the voices now seem dim and hollow. They don't speak to you now.

The room needs music. But not any music. Not yesterday's music. It needs a music from within that you've never heard. The new room calls for a new response. You sense you have arrived at a deeper level and somewhere here is a new sound of worship. Something more fulfilling, more piercing and authoritative, yet, softer and sweeter than any sound you've known. As the sound grows in you it seems tangible, like a cloud of energy hungering for release. It is so large and so enlarging that you wonder if you can birth it and still live.

You are impressed to sit, relax and wait. Busyness alone won't enhance this room, in fact, mere busyness would degrade its atmosphere. This is a room where patience is embraced and where patience embraces in return. Peace is here. Its presence is close. You sit in the new room not knowing what comes next and not caring. We are impressed to simply sit on the floor. Relax and wait. Busyness won't change this room.

We must sit, wait, and allow our eyes to become accustomed to new light. This is where we are in the present season of new, open doors.

Assorted Northwest Prophecies

I ran into an online gathering recently, where a group of prophetic folks were prophesying blind over the various regions. ("Blind": They were prophesying without knowing what region they were prophesying to until later.) This happened without my noticing it, and at the same time that God was speaking to me to look to the "no name" prophetic voices instead of just the "name brand" prophets. I love it when God's word is fulfilled so quickly.

Here's what they saw as they prophesied over the Pacific Northwest as a region.

You shall be called "White as snow". You will get a new name "White as snow".
Beloved, I am going to give you a new heart. Your love for me is strong and your zeal for my name is great. Yet there are many amongst you who do not know me and there are many amongst you who have let go, who have dropped their desire for me (Picture of a hand holding the mooring rope of a boat, which just opens its fingers and drops the rope). My heart yearns for them. I love them too much to let them wander off into the abyss. Bring them back to the fold. I am going to give you a new love for the lost. Wash their feet, heal their wounds, offer comfort to the lost and food to the hungry. Your love for the lost will extend beyond your boundaries.
It has looked like a mess. like God has forgotten..or did not anwser prayer..but the Lord has been putting things in God's order..it was stirred up and looked bad..but there is healing in the stirred up waters. That is when God is working the most to put things in order..to bring healing to the land.. Don't look at what you see..look through spiritual eyes and see my healing taking place and putting things in my order.
The voice of influence reaching those in high places. Transformation from earthly minded limits to Holy Spirit empowered potential.

The group also prophesied over Portland, Oregon as well. This also was blind:

Hear my voice says the Lord..I am calling out to you..It is a time to awaken..a time to wake up and rise up...a time to hear me calling out to you. I am saying Awaken and hear my voice.! Behold I stand at the door and knock and if ...any man hears me and opens the door ..I will come in and sup with him.!
It is time to take a step of faith and estbalish the new wells of my salvation. The Lord is pleased that you have opened the wells that were once covered over (you worked hard at this) - but these waters are now "still". HE will direct you to the new wells - in fact, you won't have to labour over it - tap the surface and the "fizzy" water will spring forth.
Genesis...wow! You are birthing. So much promise and hope. A place of much faith! You have many leaders coming forth to lay great foundations. Very apostolic in nature. God has called you to go where others have not gone and he has given your area many promises. I keep hearing patriarchs. We ...know that Abraham went forth without question, Isaac was the promised son that was birthed from faith after years of waiting... There have been some Ishmaels that have been come forth that attempted to hinder god's progress, but this will not stop the blessings of god. Though they will need to be dealt. This will come through repentance. You have also wrestled with god just as Jacob has. You know your identity now. You know who you are and what god desires for this area. There has also been a season of Joseph... The church turned against it's own. Those that were called of god were locked away and hidden. Now the king is calling you forth. You will be needed greatly in this hour as you will have the answers to the famines. God is unlocking the strategies and giving your area wisdom in the days ahead.

Also spoken (again, blind) to some places within Portland, which I am interpreting as part of the heart of God for Portland:

There will be a shift in the spiritual atmosphere, a spiritual rain and tongues of fire. Renewing the churches.
Religious control, huge potential - the tools for great and powerful blessing are all there but stifled by a Religious spirit. One majoy dominating religious 'authority'. Once this is broken you will receive an outpouring of God's endless love, healing, miraculous signs.
It's not something you are aware of. You've accepted the practices for so long that it seems normal, usual. There is a pocket of people who are starting to see with spiritual discernment. Continue to pray for spiritual discernment. Pray for your spiriutual leaders, do not feel bitterness towards them.
In this new season I will pour out my blessings upon you..You will see the blessing bring new life to your land. Some areas were dead..will come to life, some areas were lacking..will have abundance,...some areas were neglected..w...ill be tended too. In this new season..there will be a blessing upon you and it will bring change to you..the blessing will cause things to be put into my order and change will come.!!
A land full of buried springs, of lost wells of oil, dripping with your destined inheritance... it will spring forth out of the earth again to cause justice to reign once more in the land...I will rain down my blessing, and console you, O lost and weary land, once blessed with plenty, bewildered by the lack of peace in the land, watch as once again I will be your provider, and listen, and as you hear the lion roar once again from zion, and watch, as rivers of living water flood the land once more....all my promises are waiting to be revealled.... be still and know that I am I am..
The church has a call for influence on the political and social realms to deliver communities from wrong mindsets, policies and leaders that do not follow Christ. Small things can have global impact when anointed and directed by God. Do not be afraid little flock, the son is arising with healing and deliverance for the people, keep calling forth that which is to come; the Kingdom of heaven on earth. Matthew, the taxman turned disciple, changed from an earthly economy to a heavenly one.
This book begins with the roots of Jewish heritage down through the generations. It ends with the commission to disciple all nations to the end of the age. Re-open the ancient wells. Bring the past mantles into the present.
We proclaim transition – into a new day for the church in this area, supernatural economy, a change of favour towards God’s people. Mission and influence extended to other nations.

They also spoke to Longview, WA (across the Columbia River from Porland, OR), again blind:

You will speak truth to many. I am calling you to speak truth and cause things to change all around you. As you speak truth you will cause the atmosphere to change..you will cause circumstances to change and things will happen. You will send conviction to many hearts that will repent and come to me. Speak truth and do not back down from it. Your truth will cause many things to happen for my Kingdom..like bringing in many souls, which is my joy.!! Speak truth and fill my Kingdom.!!
The Christian heritage of saints gone before is not buried, prayers of past generations are still active, the stand up and fight in the name of the Lord because what God has done can be done again. At the same time remember that revival is not about repeats as in Elisha doubling the Elijah mantle, but that there are new untried foods for the body of Christ, beware of those who say God does not do anything new. God has a recipe, a blend of the former anointings appearing in new clothes, part of the same Holy Spirit. He comes for a new generation, what has work for the old times, is not the perfect will of God or his strategy for now.

They also spoke to the Tumwater/Olympia, Washington area, again blind:

You have been going through trials and tribulations but know you are birthing in my will says the Lord. The trials and tribulations will make you stronger and more dependent upon me says the Lord. I am is with you and bringing you through. I will make you to shine again.
Coming out of the place of where you came from,you are not in bondage anymore. God is giving you gold, silver, jewels.blessed are you going out to the promises of God. God has a land flowing with milk and honey for you,no more giants in the land. For the Lord your God is with you.

My Vision of the Lord Jesus Christ

Editor's Note: This is an older word, and one that does not specifically address the Northwest region (though the content has application to us in the Northwest as much as anyone else). A few days ago, at a gathering of prophetic folks in the Northwest, Holy Spirit brought this half-century-old word back to mind. Consider this an old word being renewed in the Spirit, and being spoken specifically to us in the Northwest.

On the morning of July 25, 1961, at 2:30, I received a vision from the Lord, that has entirely revolutionized my whole life and ministry. It seemed as though I had hardly gone to sleep, when this vision came before me, not once, but three times. Oh, wonder of wonders when again on July 27 this vision appeared. In each instance, the details were identical.

Suddenly in the vision, I was standing with the full view of the whole world before me. From out of the heavens came great thundering and lightning. Accompanied with the phenomena, came a voice, a great voice, for it was the voice of God.

My face was turned toward the North. With a great flash of lightning covering the entire earth, I looked down and beheld a massive form that appeared like a huge Giant. I was amazed as I saw the Giant cover the earth. Its feet seemed to reach to the North Pole, and its head extended to the South Pole. The arms were dramatically spread from sea to sea. Again with another great flash, I saw that this Giant was alive, and yet strange to say, struggling to life. I said, "Oh Lord, what does this mean?"

This massive being was covered with debris and seemed to be fettered. As I viewed this being, it began to quiver, then almost go into convulsive gestures. As this took place I saw thousands of strange creatures. Every time the Giant would quiver, they would withdraw. However when it ceased to move they would return. I was definitely made to know what these creatures were. They were instruments that had bound the body of Christ through the ages.

Suddenly the right hand of the Giant came up. I heard a loud voice like a roar of thunder from heaven. Then his left hand was raised, and as I looked, I saw its hands extend into the very heavens. Then very slowly, the Giant began to rise, and with the giant hands, began to cleanse the debris from off its body. I saw it rise to its feet, with hands outstretched to heaven. So great that its hands were in the heavens, while one foot was in the sea, the other was on the earth. I trembled uncontrollably, never before seeing such a sight.

Presently, the sky was filled with clouds, heavy clouds, but lo they turned silver, until from the very silver clouds there came liquid drops of light and power on the form of the Giant. I watched intently, I saw the Giant melt to the earth itself, as though it was being poured out from heaven itself. The form had seemed to dissolve and now in its place I saw millions of people. I cried to the Lord, "What is the meaning of this?" A voice so clear and vibrant said plainly, "I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army, which I sent among you."

As I listened to the voice and watched the multitude of people, from the clouds came great drops, like liquid light, this majestic heavenly substance made everyone it touched lose their identity, and their identification was JESUS. I saw no barriers, no denominations, nor sects, but the transcendent glory of heaven that rested upon these people compelled them to lift their hands in praise and adoration.

I watched to see who this company was worshiping. At that point, I saw a great white figure come out of the clouds, pointing His finger to one and then another. It seemed that He was giving directions, for as He would point, they would go, some to the east, some to the west, and in each direction. I could see them marching through cities, towns and villages, come through deserts, forests and jungles. God is going to have a perfect Church. He is going to have a people that are so endued with power that it will not be an exposition of self, but it will be Christ in them, the hope of glory. I saw these people pass through the fire, unburned, cross rivers as though there was no water there, they crossed oceans with ease, escaped persecution as though a hand transported them from their surroundings.

In spite of wild beasts roaring, being attacked by men with swords and weapons of war, nothing seemed to hinder them. They moved over mountains, and down through valleys, they moved like the hart skipping upon the hills. Their faces shone with the countenance of Victors, they were conquerors.

I hesitate to tell this part of the Vision, because it was with great trembling, I received this portion of the revelation. I saw the man, clothed in white, point with a scepter in his hand. Again there was pouring forth from His hand this that I call "liquid power." As soon as it would touch the person, he would have his hands bathed and dripping in the same heavenly substance. Upon receiving this anointing they would walk into Hospitals, through the streets, into the Institutions, and on and on, marching throughout the length and the breadth of the land. I could hear them saying, "According to my Word, be thou make whole." As the liquid power flowed from their hands, each one they touched was instantly healed and made whole.

I saw people transported in the Spirit from nation to nation. I saw them going to Siberia, to Africa, to Canada, and to the ends of the earth. I saw them literally lifted up and placed by the Spirit in the respective countries.

Then I heard a voice, not a thundering voice this time but a voice that was low and beautiful as the murmuring of the waters. This tender voice said, "My little children. I have given unto thee my treasures. You are mine, you belong to me. I have loved thee with an everlasting love. Now my power shall be IN YOU. The gifts that I have given unto thee shall be made manifest to a lost and dying world. I am going to restore to thee all." These people arose in the power of this great commission. I saw them cross oceans, go through fire, face persecution, and lifted by the Spirit and transported to many places. They were being placed where God wanted them, they were being put in the places where God was going to visit His people. They were prepared and already equipped.

I realized that this whole panorama picture was the demonstration of the Kingdom of God through those who follow Him. I continued to see a stream of people marching, healed, blind eyes opened, deaf ears unstopped, literally millions receiving the power of this great manifestation. It seemed so "Fluid" in its operation. There was no exaltation of a man, simple words were constantly repeated, simple but profound, "ACCORDING TO MY WORD, BE THOU MADE WHOLE."

As I watched, it seemed as though days formed into weeks, until months and years seemed to slip away, and in the midst of those who received the fullness of God's visitation, there were also those who withdrew. I could see the anguish of their faces, the price was too steep, retaining of the identification meant too much to them. They refused to march, and eventually slumped away. The price was more than they could bear, they eventually slipped out into the darkness of the night.

To speak of the following instances leaves me weak with the glory and power of the tremendous finale. The days, months and years seemed to slip by as I beheld the celestial scene. Nevertheless, it all happened in a short time, possibly just a few seconds, who can tell? No tongue could adequately tell the glory and the splendor of the formation of this angelic host. In a moment, just a twinkling of an eye, the graves of the saints had become as a plowed field and the saints from all ages, from the seas, the mountains, the deserts, from every imaginable place, gave up her dead, and rose in power and majesty, to be absorbed into the great Giant. No debris covered this great being now, it was clothed in heaven's majesty, glorious shining garments, so brilliant that it would make a million diamonds look dull.

Everyone was in a state of perfection. Again I heard a great thunder, and I turned to behold the most repelling sight human eye can witness. From the heavens above, poured forth the vials of wrath, and wrath of God. It seemed that the wrath and justice of God were wrung out as drops of unspeakable anguish and suffering. The Christ rejecting peoples of the earth had their cup filled.

Once again my attention was drawn to this glorious body, as I heard again the voice, even as thunder crying, "BEHOLD THE BRIDEGROOM COMETH. GO YE OUT TO MEET HIM. For He is the Lord of glory. Lift up your heads oh ye gates, be lifted up ye everlasting doors, and the King of Glory shall come in." Then as though the great Maestro of heaven had given the sign, a mighty volume of harmonies, heaven's harmonies pealed forth like music born on the wings of a heavenly dove. The music was clear, vibrant, rich and resonant, it was heaven's music, the song of souls set free. They were singing a new song, and what I thought to be accompaniment, now became clearer, stronger, it was the voice of the Bride, many voices but one voice singing the Song of Moses and the Lamb.

As I listened, I suddenly became weak, and yet even the weakness was my strength, for I had been in the presence of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. I was filled with an unspeakable surge of the Spirit to go tell all nations, press the battle to the front line trenches of the lost and dying world.

Folks, the Kingdom is here. The very power and Spirit of the Kingdom of God no possessed me, I knew it was the revelation of the King in all His Kingly authority. I could see that the Lord was showing me that the Kingdom of God was coming into view. This was the revelation of the Kingdom of God coming to man. The very spirit and power of the Kingdom so gripped me, I felt like one caught away to the third heaven. Daniel saw the everlasting Kingdom, no power in the world will be able to destroy this Kingdom. Once again, I saw this body now being lifted into the heavens. At this point I awoke. The vision repeated in the same manner three times again. Each time perfect in detail. From that moment to this, these words have rung through my soul, HE'S COMING SOON!

At the 60^th Anniversary Celebration of the Latter Rain Revival

Monday February 11^th, 2008 at St. Luke’s, Seattle

I was born and raised here in Seattle. I’ve been watching a lot of changes in Seattle. I’ve always had a heart for the city. When you’ve been born and raised here and with a lot of new people, it has not been quite the same. Jim (Watt) was asked a question about the barriers and the blocks to the City Church (and it’s something that Jim & Marie have talked to me about)... something we’ve prayed about… wondered about… speculated… but tonight, if you’d stand with me…

Seattle has a destiny. God chose that destiny… Seattle didn’t! Many five-fold leaders have come from other regions to speak to the destiny of Seattle… but it’s different when people that are here speak it… It’s OK for others to come in and say what they’re going to say but they don’t live here and eat here… sleep here… work here… go through the day to day things… whereas most of us here I believe are…

But for those of you here tonight, if we will collectively unify corporately and make some declarations, I think things will happen…

One of the first things I want to declare – you see there has to be and there has begun already – a fundamental shift in the foundation of churches. This is a very difficult task because what it means is that there has to be (according to Jim Watt, my papa, I call him) a willingness of the agendas of man to be laid down for the agenda of God.

So Lord, we declare tonight over Seattle and the Pacific North West and the Cascadia Region (including Spokane, Vancouver, BC, Portland, Seattle/Tacoma, and Victoria, BC) that You are raising and have raised up a people who will embrace Your agenda and release their agenda to You. And Lord, we believe tonight as we declare this thing… we’re going to pray (like the man said) there’s a great mountain that needs to be conquered in Seattle. And so, Lord, like Caleb said, “Give me this mountain!”

Where the giants live… Lord, there are giant circumstances in the way of a city church but we’re going to declare tonight -- Lord, give us this mountain… our heritage and our destiny… our inheritance. The revival is tied to occupying the mountain… So Lord, tonight we declare over this place that the mountain shall be ours! Because it is not a work of man but a work of the living God… We make that declaration tonight!

Lord, we also declare and we thank You even now that this very night has been a key to a transformation of the people who have been here. Lord, there were people who were here last night and people who are here tonight not just by circumstance but by divine appointment. Therefore, Lord, all of us are going to be catalysts… as intercessors… as prayer warriors…and as prophetic ministers to pray in what Your agenda is… until there is revelation, through worship, in every church that would bring Your Church together.

So Lord, tonight we also declare a fundamental shift in worship all over the Cascadia Region. Angels would begin to fill every worship house. Your Spirit would fall on every worship leader. And the Holy Spirit would take full control. And where man’s plans have come to plan an event, they will be released to the plans of Heaven. Lord, we declare that tonight… that You would take over the meeting… You would take over Sunday morning… You would take over Sunday night… and that people would be enveloped with Your presence as the worship goes forth…

And Lord, we also declare (as Marie also said it) revelation would come as the angels and the Holy Spirit descend on houses of worship all over this city… all over the North West… revelation would come (just like it did on Jim).You spoke those words to him… 64 years ago! Before it ever started to come to pass and You told him he would be part of something… Lord, You said to Seattle, “You’re going to be part of something!”

As a matter of fact, it was prophesied that the revival coming out of Seattle would get the world’s attention… and that we would be a prototype city for all the other port cities around the nation… Lord, we also declare this thing to be true! We’re going to take the prophetic words and we’re going to declare them and we’re going to pray them until they begin to come to pass! And so Lord, develop Your prototype! Use us, Lord! Start in us tonight! Transform us tonight! Give us revelation tonight! Let us be houses of worship… every one of us – individually! Set us free!

And Lord, in every church that’s represented here… we would go and we would be a catalyst in that church for change and reformation. We declare that tonight! Wherever we go… whatever body we belong to... as we worship You… You will honor it, Lord, and begin to come into that house… and You will bring revelation and understanding… and people will begin to move towards Your will, Your purposes, and Your agenda… and we thank You this very night for the shift… the shift… the shift… not only in the Heavens but in the natural… that we are about to see!

And Lord, we declare Seattle a Jesus-City! We declare Seattle a Kingdom City! We declare Seattle will have a city presbytery. You have spoken it, Lord, and it shall come to pass! In Yeshua’s Name. In the Name of Jesus! Amen.

At the close of the two day celebration of the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the Latter Rain Revival, host Father John Roddam felt led to have apostle and prophet Elvin Gladney come forward. Elders present formed a Presbytery and ministered to Elvin with the laying on of hands and prophecy. Then Brother John asked him to prophetically make proclamations over Seattleand the Pacific North West. This is that proclamation.

Arise and Shine

I am very encouraged with the news of God’s increasing kingdom in the midst of shaking times of the nations. In a time of blowing winds, storms, droughts, and melting heat God is moving in a powerful way. We are the princes and princesses of God’s kingdom who fix our eyes upon our righteous King! When the world is blinded by the blowing winds and doesn’t know what to believe, we believe in the One who loves us. In a time of raging storms and the actions of men are those of preserving self, we are being empowered for acts of love and are being anointed to sow more seeds for the multiplication of nobility. In a time of drought and the thoughts of men are inspired to make hasty decisions affecting the generations to come we are growing in the imaginations of our hearts to know the strategies for the life of the generations to come. In a time of melting heat when men lose their focus and they become people of stammering speech, we take on the life giving influence of God’s testimony to the unfolding generations of tomorrow. We are a source of God’s inheritance in the earth!

The center of the universe is not hinged upon a revelation of mankind. A revelation of how good God is and how much He loves us is pivotal for knowing the basis of all life! God is good and He loves us! This is the core of life! The core of religion chooses to see a vision of bad people who need a Savior. The core of life is that although people are bound to sin and deception, God is good and He really loves us! We are in a grassroots revolution of God’s love!

I am stirred by the Prophet Isaiah’s words:

Isaiah 60:1-3 “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.” “For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.” “Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”

I believe that these words are prophetically relevant for this moment and hour for the church in the nations. We are in a grassroots revolution and Christ is calling His body to arise with the testimony of light!

I recall a vision that I had three years ago while in England. I saw a woman standing on a horse in a field. She appeared to be standing with a horse under her. The vision was vague as to whether the horse suspended the woman’s feet or she was standing on the ground with the horse beneath her. The wind was blowing violently. The horse was making sudden moves of its head backward as the wind blew and the woman would turn her head in like fashion as the horse turned its head. The nostrils of the horse were flared and emotional expressions of human reaction could be seen in the horse’s facial features. As I recall the vision I could see the emotions of human strength in the face of the horse and the strength of muscle in its neck. Each sudden turn of the horse’s head caused a sudden turn of the woman in the same sideways to backward motion. This happened four times repeatedly. I thought to see the color of the horse and tried to focus on the horse, but the vision would not allow me to focus on the horse or its color. What I thought to be of importance was not the focus of the vision. Then I saw the woman face the winds head on and she stood tall upon the horse and the horse dissolved beneath her as she stood. The woman’s head was no longer turning for she was fully facing the wind as it blew. I could see that the woman was rising in a glorious posture with a firm stand upon the ground. The woman’s face became radiant and her hair was long and waving like golden wheat. It streamed backward as the wind blew and looked to flow with the wind like waves. Her body and the appearance of her face became radiant, like the sun. The brightness of the light didn’t allow me to make out any features of her body, but her face was clear in complexion and she had a focus of anticipation and expectation in the expression of her eyes. I could now see that the field was a field of wheat and it too showed rhythmic patterns of waving in the wind, but there was no sense of despair. The field looked endless in every direction around the woman. There was only a sense of great glory, peace, and even destiny. I heard the Lord say, “If my church will call what the world calls ‘winds of change’ – ‘WINDS OF DESTINY’ – her finest hour is at hand. She will rise up as the life-giving womb of God in the earth and there will be a great harvest and her glory will be awesome!”

We are the body of Christ and it is time that we rise up with the Holy Spirit of life! We are the life-giving womb of God in the earth and the treasures of heaven are being birthed in a grassroots revolution of love among the nations of the earth. We are being empowered by One Lord, One Faith, One Submersion, One God and Father, One God Above All, One God Through All, and One God In All (Eph. 4:4-6). This is the testimony of the manifested nobility of Christ. A King rules righteously and it is time for princes to rule justly in the earth (Isa. 32:1-4). If we fix our eyes upon the King we will not turn our heads when the winds blow, or the storms come, or the drought is in the land, or the heat is melting the hearts of men. We must be the people who know that God is good and He really loves humanity! When men are crying out because things are bad and they need a Savior, we must be the womb of God that reveals that God is good and He really loves them! This is a grassroots revolution of love!

Who are we as the body of Christ? We are a spiritual house for a spiritual priesthood and we are anointed to make spiritual sacrifices to God. These are sacrifices of love to the one who loves us. Our empowerment is not based upon a command to love Him, but upon a revelation of how much He loves us (Heb. 5:12-14; 6:1-3; 1 Pet. 2:9-13).

We receive our life through a revelation of His love. Our future is secure because the procreative area of our body wears the belt of truth. The belt of truth is not a measure of good and evil, it is a revelation of God’s love. He is good and He loves us! We have been granted repentance from dead works, because we are a chosen race of born again creations and we are alive to God in Christ. We are being empowered for works of life through the evidence of faith. We wear a breastplate of righteousness and our actions of acts of love from our hearts. We have faith toward God. We are a royal priesthood offering sacrifices of faith toward the One who loves us!

We have the testimony of life through a submersion in God’s life-giving Spirit. Our feet drip with an anointing that testifies of the good news of our peace with God. Though we walk upon this earth, we live in the house of God in His heavenly realities of life and there is no gap between Him and us. We are continually experiencing a change of culture and lifestyle by a submersion in Christ. We are holy nation in Christ!

We have been given the authority of life through a submission one to another in Him. We move forward beyond the opposition of every fiery distraction with a shield of faith as God’s ministers of life with the giving of life through the laying on of hands of the corporate body of Christ. We have been given the life-giving authority of being God’s own special people as ministers of life to the world in which we live!

We have the power of life through the manifested evidence of His presence. We wear a helmet of salvation and we know that there is no God above our God. We stand in the power of the resurrection of the dead and have the victory of life in all things. We are a people of praise and are no longer bound to the testimony of days ending in darkness for we live in the in the increasing Day of light!

We have the communion of life through His eternal Sprit made known in His body. We have been given the eternal judgment of eternal life. We were not a people, but now we are the people of God. The testimony of a love for God and a love for people is a life expression in our mouths as a sword of the Spirit revealing the community and communion of the sanctified ones in Christ. We are bringing the community of heaven to the communities of the earth through the life-giving expressions of Christ in us!

We have the inevitable increase and perfection of life in Christ. The awe of God is empowering to pray in the Spirit. The power of perfections is being granted to us through the evidence of prayer and we will know one God in men as a people who have fully obtained the mercy of God!

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.”

Five "Hot Pockets" in the Nation

This is a transcribed word of the Lord prophesied at PMI Glory Institute in Chicago, Illinois on February 13, 2011:

I hear the voice of the Lord! I'm telling you, I hear the sound of rain. I'm seeing rain in the desert. I'm seeing rain where it never rained! I'm hearing the sound of Heaven. I'm hearing the majesty of the King, and I hear Him saying, "Grace! Grace I will pour out unto you. Grace I will give you. Oh Church, rise up in grace. The throne of grace is open to you."

I see the waters filled with diamonds. I see a flood of the walls of Heaven. I see the breath of the Ruah of God. I hear the sound of exhale from Heaven. There's an exhaling coming from Heaven. And God will say to His people, "My Son is sufficient for you. My Son is sufficient for you." I hear the Son. I see the Son looking at His Father. He's saying, "These are the children of the Most High. What shall We do to bless them this day?" The Father smiles... He exhales!

I see flames, I see arrows, and I see frames... many frames. Like picture frames. People are about to get visions. For where there's been no vision, the people perish. "But I am about to say to the seer that has not seen, 'You will start to see with a new vision.' I'm about to say to the speaker who has not spoken, 'You are about to speak with new dimensions of authority.'"

"I Laid Down My Life For You, But You Must Pick Up My Life"

I was awakened this morning, and I was taken up above the earth. I was in this atmosphere where there was a crust on the atmosphere. I heard the Lord say, "Look into this." As I looked into the crust I saw a blister and it burst. I saw what really did not compute to my own understanding. I saw dollar signs come out. I saw houses come out. I saw people come out with rags on.

There's a blistering about to happen over the nation. The ceiling has been burst. The debt has been burst. "And I say to you, oh Church, it's the finances of the Church that will save the nations. For upon the visitation of your gift that you give unto Heaven, that will be the release of grace I send to the below. The blister is not pretty, but those who have given will be taken care of, and those who have must take care of those who have not. For I am calling My Church, I am calling My people to be givers like never before. I love you so much," says the Lord, "that I came into this earth, dispatched from My Father. I laid My life down for you. But you must pick up My life, Church. You must pick up My essence, My being, My Presence.

"Where is the promise that you gave unto Me? says the Lord. "Where's that promise you gave unto Me?" says the Lord. "I cannot be threatened by your promises. For many times your promises have been in vain.... out of your own will and out of your own imagination. But I tell you a greater glory is coming, and when it comes your promises that you give to Me will be the promises that I have released to you. For I am wiping away the backsliding." Come on, somebody! "I am wiping away the fear. I am wiping away the word 'no,' and I am giving you yes, yes, yes, yes!"

Five Pockets in the Nation from Hollywood to New York

There are five pockets in the nation. Their pockets are deep. Their pockets run deep into the earth. They are firmly rooted in this earth. But I tell you, their heads are in the clouds. These five pockets – one pocket is Hollywood. I tell you, Hollywood has its head in the clouds, living in the imagination of God. So Lord, we break the perversion off the imagination. We break the perversion off the imagination and we release the truth of God in Hollywood.

There's another pocket, pocket two, that's in New York. There's a group of people that are in New York that have been praying to see My glory. So Lord, we speak to New York, and we ask You, God, to release the truth in New York. Where is the witness in this house?

There's another pocket, pocket three, and it's in Georgia. The state of Georgia is carrying a deep pocket. There are signs, wonders and miracles in Georgia. People will start flocking to Georgia, and it's going to move over into Alabama. It's going to go into Tennessee, and it's going to go... Oh, thank You, Jesus, it's going into South Carolina, hallelujah! It's coming up through Ohio, it's coming into Indiana, and it's going through Kentucky, and it's coming into Illinois. Chicago will be a place where God's glory will be made manifest! God will move from the region of Chicago! That is a pocket! Chicago, you are a pocket – pocket four!

There's another pocket, pocket five, in the upper west coast. Its face is toward Canada, and its feet are toward America. I am saying to you from this region there will be a great revival! It'll be birthed from this region! All hail King Jesus! Go west, young man; go west, young woman! I'm telling you, God is raising up a band of people from the northwest area of North America, and there is going to be another pocket of revival where miracles, signs and wonders, miraculous healings and many are raised from the dead!

And the Lord said, "I'm going to teach you how to laugh at the Lord's enemy when he comes up in your face! You're going to laugh at the Lord's enemy when he comes in your face, and your laugh will be the flood I will raise against his house." Ha! Ha! Ha! I see the flame of Yah. I see this flame, and it's filled with the color purple and the color blue. I'm about to release into this assembly a spirit of revelation. There will be a destiny! You will begin to revelate in your sleep, you will begin to revelate on the TV, you will revelate on the computer, you will revelate talking. All of a sudden you will say, "I don't know where that came from," and you will know that it came from God because it is glory! It is God's Word.

A Spirit of Revival is Coming, But It's Not What We're Accustomed To

I see a spirit of revival, but it's not the revival we're accustomed to. I see many diving back into the Scriptures. I see revelation – revelation coming forth from the Scripture. I see a whole new wave of glory coming. I hear Him say, "I'm about to unfold another mystery. I'm about to give you another key to the Kingdom. I'm about to give you an audience with the Majesty."

I see a lion. He is huge. I hear the Lord telling me that he's 20 stories high, and he's walking across the land. He's been in Egypt. He's been roaring in Egypt, and he's walking into Israel; he's getting ready to walk into Israel, and he's going to raise his face to the sky. He's going to roar! He's going to roar in Israel! The line that has been drawn by the Blood of Emmanuel's veins between the United States and Israel will not be broken.

"But if a nation of people, not the land, will humble themselves and pray, I will give you the land, I will change the land, and I will change the atmosphere, because the framework is coming in." Come on, somebody! The framework is coming in! The framework is coming in!

The Great Tsunami: A Spiritual Tsunami is Coming!

This word is not from the Pacific Northwest, and it is not specifically addressed. But we in the Northwest have been hearing God speak about tsunamis for some time. This is consistent, even confirming, to the previous words that we've received.

Rick's application is particularly appropriate: "One of the most important things that we can do to be positioned to catch the wave that is coming is to come to know the gifts and ministries of the Spirit that we are called to walk in, and begin to walk in them. We cannot accomplish what we must in these times without every part of the Body doing its part." -Editor

In 1987 I had a two-and-a-half-day prophetic experience in which I was shown a panorama of coming events that I wrote about in my book titled, The Harvest. Most of what I saw coming has now taken place, but the biggest event of all, the harvest that was at the end of the age, has not. It is now approaching.

Jesus said, "The harvest is the end of the age" (see Matthew 13:39). This will be the greatest ingathering of new Believers in history, greater than all the previous ones combined. In my vision, this came in two great waves. The first wave was the largest up until this time, but it was only the ingathering of those who were called to be the laborers in the coming even much greater one.

This first wave began shortly after I was given this vision and lasted for almost twenty years. During that time more people came to Christ around the world than had come to Him in all of history up until that time. Some estimates were that an average of almost four hundred thousand people a day were coming to Christ during its peak. There were countries where people were being born again faster than they were being born. Hundreds of millions came to Christ in Africa, South and Central America, and Asia.

Though this wave hardly seemed to touch North America and Europe, they provided many of the evangelists and workers for the other great revivals around the world, and their time is coming. I then saw a period of relative calm before the greatest of all moves of God began. We are near the end of that time and are about to be hit by a wave of revival like the earth has never seen before.

The Magnitude of the Harvest

When a tsunami is traveling across the oceans, it is barely a discernable ripple in the water, but when it approaches land, it begins to rise fast, sometimes to a height of several hundred feet. In minutes, a calm sea can rise up and sweep away everything in its path. Even though it may seem that we are in a spiritual calm now, a spiritual tsunami is coming, and we must prepare for it.

The biggest problem virtually every church will be facing is how to handle explosive growth. In the vision, I saw small churches of less than a hundred people adding a thousand new members a week at times. Of course, this happened on the Day of Pentecost, and then there were other days in which thousands came to Christ in a day. Even with a dozen apostles personally trained by the Lord, there was stress caused by this. Pressure points gave birth to new ministries such as the deacon. The infrastructure of church life that this produced is still the model that works, and we need to return to its effective simplicity to handle what is coming.

I saw churches that grew so large that they started renting football and soccer stadiums in which to hold their services. At times, hundreds of thousands would gather in parks and huge outdoor meetings just to hear Bible teachers to pray and to worship. Not only were whole cities coming to Christ, but also entire nations were coming so that the state itself became like a large church.

A few years ago I decided to watch the news for several hours a day for a week to determine what percentage of stories could be considered good news. During that time I did not see one good news story. They were all about problems, crises, disasters, and suffering. This was during the time of some of our greatest economic prosperity. Now it's worse. However, change is coming. When this next wave hits, the news around the world is going to be dominated by good news.

We will see events like hundreds of thousands of people gathering spontaneously for prayer and worship, becoming the biggest news stories of the day. News teams will be following apostolic teams and evangelists like they do politicians and business leaders now. Much more is happening now than most are aware of, or that is making the news, but when the Lord "suddenly comes into His temple," it will be the news, and the whole world will be aware of it.

There will be individual newscasts from secular networks that will cause more to come to Christ than Christian networks have in their entire existence. This is not to negate what has been accomplished by Christian networks but rather to stress the impact that this revival will have. We will go through a period when the news of the great things God is doing will crowd out just about all other news around the world.

Both the Welsh and the Azusa Street Revivals made front-page news around the world repeatedly for nearly two years. That was just a foretaste, a seed being planted for what is to come. The coming move of God will in some ways be a composite of many of the great moves of the past, but in one basic way it will be different—this will not just be a move of God, but it will be God moving.

This is not just semantics, because every true move of God is at least initiated by God, but He will bless many things He will not inhabit. His manifest presence will be so great in what is coming that people will not chase after individual truths, or acts of God, but they will be after the Lord Himself. He will be the conversation, not just what He does. This is a move that will lift up Jesus. When He is lifted up, all will be drawn to Him, not just to doctrines, projects, or missions, but to Him.

Doctrine certainly has its place, and there is a great need for sound Biblical doctrine to be imparted to all new Believers, and for all other Believers to build stronger foundations on His truth. There is a need for projects and missions that are His will, but "the main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing," and the Main Thing is Jesus. The true apostolic Gospel was Jesus: "They preached Jesus and the resurrection from the dead." Jesus will again be the Message, and it will be what He is doing that gets the attention.

What is coming is the return to the apostolic Gospel. The Way is a Person. Truth is a Person, and if we don't know that Person as our Life, then we don't really know the Way or the Truth either. He is coming to take His rightful place in His Church. When He does, the Church will be profoundly changed. When Jesus becomes our desire as He should be, the Church will become the ultimate society on the earth that multitudes will be streaming to. There is no greater adventure than the true Christian life, and there is nothing more boring than religion. Religion is about to be displaced by the true Christian life, and the great adventure will supplant institutional religion.

Catch the Wave

We are coming to the most exciting times in history, but this is also a warning. If we are not prepared for what is coming, we will be victims of it. This coming worldwide revival will also be one of the biggest challenges ever. Moves of God are often referred to as waves in history because a wave is an accurate metaphor. For a surfer, there are few things as thrilling as catching "the big one." However, if you're casually strolling in the surf and the big one catches you by surprise, you will likely eat a lot of sand and drink a lot of salt water. Revivals can do the same thing to churches and ministries that are not prepared for them.

Riding a wave is not possible unless you are positioned right to catch it. To catch a wave, you must discern where it is going to break. Then you must position yourself in the right place. Then you have to begin moving in the right direction when it comes. Though it may seem that everything is quiet right now, we need to be getting prepared for what is coming by getting into position and be ready to move in the right direction as it comes.

The most important thing that we can do to get into the right position is to recover and strengthen our first love—Jesus. We all signed up for Him, not just good teachings, or a better way to live, though we do get those too. There is nothing on earth more contagious than a person who is getting closer to the Lord. Those "who have been with Jesus" are going to start standing out as never before. We only have true spiritual authority to the degree that we are abiding in the King, and the leaders of what is coming will be those who are the closest to the Lord.

What is coming will be far too big for any human leadership or strategy to control. Only the Captain of the hosts can lead this one, and He will. It is not just hearing the words of the Lord as much as it is hearing the Word Himself. The main strategy for what is to come will be to know His voice and to obey Him. He will be giving personal direction to His people. This is why we are told in Acts 2:17-18 that "in the last days" when He pours out His Spirit, the result is dreams, visions, and prophecy upon the old and young, male and female, which obviously includes everyone. This is because we are going to need this kind of guidance for what is to come, and He is going to give it to us as He always has for those who would seek Him.

The coming move of God will be the greatest challenge we've ever faced but also will be the greatest time of our lives. These are the times that even the prophets of old desired to see. The Lord has saved His best wine for last, and many who are reading this will witness the greatest move of God of all time.

It is right to appreciate the honor of living in these times, but it is also right to treat it as the great responsibility that it is. To whom much is given much will be required, and this will be a time when much work must be done. Even so, when we are yoked with the Lord, we will find rest and refreshment in our labors as we are told in Matthew 11:28-30:

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light."

You do not put on a yoke to go to bed but rather to do work. However, there is no greater rest and refreshment for our souls that we could ever find than being yoked with the Lord in His work. There is no job or profession we could ever have in this life more fulfilling than doing what He created us to do before the foundation of the world. This will be life on a level more exciting and fulfilling than most have ever known. Even so, knowing and abiding in the rest of the Lord will be crucial for all during this time. As much work as there will be to do with so many coming to the faith, we must not fall to human striving. Striving is counterproductive in the work in the true work of the Kingdom.

He Is Supernatural

We were created to have fellowship with God Who is Spirit. Because of this, there is a deep yearning for the spiritual, the supernatural, in every human being. Many cover it up, but we can never be truly fulfilled or at peace without this spiritual fellowship with God. As Jesus stated in John 4:23-24:

"But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

The Apostle Paul said that if we are at home in the body, or in the natural, we are absent from the Lord (see II Corinthians 5:6-9). We should be more at home in the spiritual realm than we are the natural because the "new creation" is born of the Spirit. This too is going to become a reality in what is coming. Then extraordinary miracles become common, and even the "greater works," such as speaking to mountains and having them plucked up and moved, will be done to prove that the Word of God is true.

The true Christian life is a supernatural life, and this will be a reality in what is coming. However, that we will be seeing such miracles also means that we will be living in times when we will need those miracles. Everyone will be in either continuous awe and wonder at the great things the Lord is doing, or in continuous terror at what is happening in the world. The Apostle Paul said in Acts 14:22, "Through many tribulations we must enter the Kingdom of God." This is true personally and for the whole world. In every trial there is a door to the Kingdom, and in the ultimate trial of the whole earth, the whole earth will enter the Kingdom.

The good thing is that the tribulation will not last, but the Kingdom will. For those who are staying close to the Lord, they will hardly know that they are passing through tribulations. In a prophetic experience, I was once caught up and found myself standing in front of a radar screen on a warship, with the Lord Himself standing next to me. There was a blip on the screen coming straight at us, so I called for the ship to turn 90 degrees. The ship turned, but the blip on the screen remained right in front and coming closer. I called for the ship to turn again, with the same results. I then braced for the impact, but the blip went away and nothing happened. I then asked the Lord what had happened. He said the blip on the radar screen was the great time of trouble. He said that it was coming and there was no way to avoid it, but if we stayed close to Him, we wouldn't even feel it.

For those who are walking in their purpose, even the great tribulation will be a minor event. There will be far more attention on what Christ is doing than on what the antichrist is doing. As we read in Isaiah 60, at the very time when darkness is covering the earth, and deep darkness the people, the Lord's glory will be rising on His people. Then, as we see in verse three, the nations will come to the glory. The light wins! We do need to know the devil's schemes, but true security comes from knowing what Christ is doing, and uniting with Him in His purposes.

As we read in Daniel 2, at the same time all of the kingdoms of men are collapsing and becoming like dust, the Kingdom of God is growing, and it will keep growing until it fills the earth. Those who are obeying His command to seek first His Kingdom (see Matthew 6:33) will experience never-ending increase. Those who are seeking first the things of this world will experience increasing troubles. Every coming year this distinction will become more pronounced. It is time to put the Kingdom first, above anything else that we are pursuing.

One of the most important things that we can do to be positioned to catch the wave that is coming is to come to know the gifts and ministries of the Spirit that we are called to walk in, and begin to walk in them. The Ephesians 4 mandate of all true New Testament ministry is to equip others to do the work of the ministry, not just do it ourselves. Those who do not obey this mandate will soon disappear from leadership in the church, and those who train and equip their people will be the future leaders of the Body of Christ. These are the ones who are not burying the talents they've been entrusted with but are investing and multiplying them. We cannot accomplish what we must in these times without every part of the Body doing its part.

Summary

For the last five years I have been shown many difficulties and hardships that will be coming, and to date, they have proven to be accurate. Not many wanted to hear or believe what we had to say, and I have to admit that it has not been much fun having so many hard words. Even so, all of these trials have doors to the Kingdom that we must now walk through. Those who did hear the warning and prepared accordingly have done very well. The prepared will prosper in any situation. One of the most important preparations we can make for these times is simplicity of life.

Gaining or losing natural resources is not nearly as important in these times as being in the right place, equipped for our purpose. To lose everything we own is not nearly as important compared to missing the greatest of all spiritual opportunities that is coming. The most valuable thing we can accomplish in this life is to hear those greatest of words on the Judgment Day: "Well done good and faithful servant" (see Matthew 25:23). There is not a human being who would not gladly trade all that they accomplished to hear those words on that day. This is also what we must live for now. Those who do will be the happiest of all people, and that joy will not go away forever.

COVENANT: SEATTLE PRESBYTERY – JUNE 1971

Editor’s comment: This covenant was made in 1971 by a group of Seattle pastors under the leadership of Dennis Bennett of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, a group composed of 30 North American traveling 5-fold ministries, with a core group of 8 local pastors. It took them a full week to work this out, but after serious discussion, it was accepted and signed both by the 30 delegates, and later by many other pastors in the Seattle-Tacoma Metroplex.

God used this covenant, as a starting point for creating a city church, to great effect in the Kingdom. Many of us believe that God is eager for us to lay aside our “distinctives” and form regional fellowships, regional communities of faith, composed of many congregations, and believers without congregations.

I present this example as a testimony of how it was done once. There is more historical information here.

1. We whose names are signed below believe that God has set us as leaders within the body of Christ in our area. We will respect the others whose names are signed below. (A: 1 Corinthians 12:12-28; Psalm 133.)

2. If at any time we have any criticism or complaint against any of the others, we will take the steps prescribed in Matthew 18:15-17 to retain the fellowship of our brothers: first, go to the person alone; second, if necessary, go to him with two or more witnesses; third, if necessary, bring the matter before the whole group. Thereafter, we will abide by any decision reached by the whole group. (B: Exodus 23:1; Leviticus 19:16; Psalm 15:3; Proverbs 6:16, 19; 20:19; 26:20; James 3:l-10).

3. If another person brings to us any criticism or complaint against any of those whose names are signed below, we will direct that person to take the steps prescribed in Matthew 18:15-17. If the situation requires, we will be willing to go with that person as a witness. We will not entertain any criticism or compliant against any of the others whose names are signed below, except in the presence of the one against whom the criticism or complaint is made. (B: above).

4. We will also respect all other leaders within the body of Christ in our area, upon two conditions: first, that we recognize their lives and ministries as being morally and ethically sound (C: 1 Timothy 1:3-4; 2 Timothy 2:19-22; Titus 2:7-8); second, that they show due respect for the scriptures (D: John 14:23-24; 2 Timothy 3:16-4:2; 1 John 2:4-5) the Lord Jesus Christ (E: John 5:22-23; 10:7-9; 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 3:11; 8:6; Ephesians 1:20-23; Colossians 1L18; 1 John 4:2-3); the Holy Spirit (F: John 14:16-17, 26; 16:13-14; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11); and the body of Christ (G: Matthew 18:17; 1 Timothy 3:14-15; 1 Corinthians 3:16-17; 5:12-6:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13; Hebrews 13:7, 17, 24) in our area.

5. We will likewise respect any ministries whom God may from time to time direct to our area for the up-building of his body in our area, provided that they fulfill the two conditions stated in paragraph 4 above. (H: Matthew 10:40-41; Acts 11:22-24; 15:32-33; 18:27; 1 Corinthians 4:17; 16:10; Philippians 2:19-29; 3 John 5-8).

6. If at any time we have reason to believe that persons are seeking to minister or exercise influence within the body of Christ in our area, who do not fulfill the conditions stated in paragraph 4, we will not give our endorsement or support to their ministries or other activities, and we will notify accordingly the other leaders whose names are signed below, as well as any members of the body of Christ in our area who look to us for spiritual leadership. (I: Matthew 7:15-23; Galatians 1:8-9; 2 Timothy 3:6-9; Titus 1:9-11; 3:9-11; 2 Peter 2; 1 John 4:1-6; 2 John 7-11).

7. We agree that any one of us will no longer be recognized as a member of this group, if at any time:

(1) He voluntarily withdraws from this covenant;

(2) He moves to a place of residence outside our area;

(3) After fair and careful examination by the group it is decided that he no longer fulfils the conditions stated in paragraph 4.

8. New leaders may at any time be added to this group, or former leaders reinstated, provided that they fulfill the conditions stated in paragraph 4, and that they voluntarily and sincerely accept the commitments contained in this covenant.

(NOTE: The above principles can easily be adapted for a local congregation, especially where they apply. It would be hoped that local pastors would recognize the discipline of their various local churches, and stand by a brother pastor or leader when discipline has been applied.
