While I was back home in Cumbria, me and some of my family had a day out at the Lake District (Cumbria) thought some of you might like to see some of the shots we took.

It was very windy and raining day but you can't deny the scenery is still worth admiring... I will include my outfit even though I was not exactly dressed in my usual style so much, it was a little more practical ;)

Hello Hello Hello!! Hope your are fantastically well!

You don't need to know this but I am THRILLED at the moment as I'm sitting watching Short Circuit... I certainly hope you have all seen this film, if not watch it! ;)

Anyway my Mother was a bit jolly with her camera on nights out over Christmas and she has just shared all the pictures with me... so of course I thought I'd share them all with you guys :)

I realize it's well over Xmas now, so posting pictures of me and the family out drinking over the holidays is not that appropriate but still, I thought it might be nice to share a couple of my outfits (from what you can see of them) and hey just reflect back to what a wonderful time you all had!

Don't you just love Christmas...

Having had a hectic month juggling my intern at Topshop head office with my other (paying) job too it's been so nice to come home and have some time to just have some fun :)

For those who don't know my home town in Carlisle, in Cumbria. So yesterday me and some of my family went for a lovely day out at the lake district, the weather was wild and wet but didn't dampen our spirits, I got some blog photo's to put up which I will put up ASAP.... just as soon as my uncle.... aka the photographer edits the pictures and sends them on to me :)

Having been struggling to find the time to post recently due to working on my Final Major Project at College, in between my job.... I am pleasantly surprised that I have managed to put together, not one.... but two posts tonight :)

I do feel a bit like a school girl again (only a lot older!!) but I do love this look, makes me feel quite sophisticated actually. Firstly I would like to take a minute to genuinely thank you guys for baring with me throughout, the fact that people are still viewing my blog, (even though quite frankly my commitment to it is shite at the moment!) is outstanding, and for me touching.....OK so I'm not the gooey type so that was hard for me! But I mean it. It's not that I don't care about my blog because I really do, it's just finding the time! But things will get better... BELIEVE ME :)

So on with the important stuff hey! OK so before I hit the sack I wanted to share with you two sources of absolute craving essentials for me... We have LF Store beauts that I'm dying to get my hands on, for this (only now starting to get chilly) winter there is some lovely lovely knits here, I love the textures, colours and mixing with amazing jewelry pieces.

The Alexis designs are, me being me and feeling nostalgic for the sun and beach, that heavenly part of my life again. It probably feels a bit odd me showing you these incredible designs and perfectly stunning shoots, at this time of year in England... but I know your going to feel this with me :)

Oh how I've missed you!! Seems a lifetime since my last post... I'm afraid to say I am just so busy with my studies and my job, and also trying to sort out a future career. Really contacting people hard to try and find me some work experience and internships etc.

Anyway what I will try to do is make more regular posts on college work, so you can see the kind of things I'm up to. For instance in my print lesson we have been designing ideas to go onto scarfs that we will be selling in a shop (hopefully!!) this is quite exciting so when these really start to get going I will do some posts regarding that.

I got stopped in the street the other day by streetbooth take a look at their site to see the fashion of the streets around London. It is just a new site so I think it's just warming up.

Funny they caught me on a day I felt so tired and cold when I got up that I just wanted to go to college with my hair scrapped back, in my lose baggy jumper and my leather look leggings.

Hello again my lovelies.....

As I'm sat here watching the Xfactor, full of a cold that seems to be taking over me :( I thought I'd take comfort in my blog.....

my blog that even though I don't have many followers or viewers, and I can't post up gorgeous outfit posts of me dripping in Prada or Jimmy Choo shoes singing to my feet (you get what I mean)

I'm proud of, because it's mine and it's about me, and my life and all the things I love and make me smile,

and this for me is just the beginning. For me it's kind of airing my progress, my adventure as I grow and develop more and more

So here is an outfit post of what I was wearing today, it's a bit unusual and some of you probably won't agree with it, as I've clashed my natural bohemian style of feathers and maxi's with an Adidas Originals jacket.

But I love this jacket, it has a lot of memories for me, traveling in Hong Kong, and well, style is what and who you are. It's NOT a rule, for me it's about experimenting,

and as long as it's staying true to yourself and your personality, then you can't go wrong really :)

I was in my element on Sunday, when I met my work colleagues at work for a work night of booze and entertainment. Never did I expect it to be as memorable and lovely as it was.

As far as me and the rest of my colleagues were aware we were just meeting for a bbq and drinks.

However our boss had a little surprise planned all along.

She had arranged for us to go on a boat trip! It was a lovely summers evening and we started the boat trip, at a very convenient hour. The river was calm and peaceful, with the sunsetting on our way back. I couldn't have wished for anything else at that point. We drank cocktails, enjoyed each others company and just took in the beautiful surroundings and peacefulness of the water.

For those of you who don't know, I work in a (quite posh) hotel in a part called Marlow which is situated in Buckinghamshire. The surroundings here are gorgeous and as you will see from the images, the people that live in Marlow have a generous amount of money and treasure some lovely homes. Anyway I'll let the images speak for themselves.

Last week my beautiful, kind and caring Mother came to visit me down south... (ya kna being born and bread from up noorrth) We had such a lovely week together, drinking cocktails and wine (a bit too often) chatting and generally just having a relaxed time together. On the Wednesday we took ourselves into London for a day out and then on the evening we went to my work for some drinking poo's with the posh people and watched the sun set by the river.... So peaceful xx

Through the day I wore:

Topshop skirt and shirt. Warehouse fringe belt (£7 in the sale!!) Riverisland bag and sandals. Topman feather necklace. Accessorize silver necklace.

Then we hit the shops.

Me trying on this awesome two length dress from Topshop. I love the femininity and soft delicate flow of this material. Could capture some real amazing blog posts with this with the right styling and a professional camera!

And of course, hit Forever 21. After attending the Launch party, how could I not?!

Sooo I've been terrible for keeping up to date with my blog (terrible considering I have only just set it up!!)
Anyway I was lucky enough to attend the super duper fun Forever 21 launch party in The old sorting office London. (with great thanks to the lovely Sandra from 5inch and up blog, for making me her +1) Celebrating in style the opening of their new store on

London's Oxford Street.
I was pleasantly surprised and pleased at the organising of the event.

Enjoying nosh from the meat wagon,
Prosecco cocktails, Limited Edition Diet Coke Collection by Karl Lagerfeld. A giant carousel, teepee bars, and of course a 3D hologram fashion show, which was AAAAAAA mazing!! More highlights for me was circus preformers, such as hula hoop girls and dancing rollerskaters.
The delightful, little bundle of fun Bip Ling was doing her thing on the decks. And we also enjoyed a rather long wait for the popular WAH nails, getting these done seemed a very buzzing treat, so I had to join the club! :)

So needless to it was a fun filled, amazingly entertaining night!
I have to apologise for the poor quality pictures as all I had with me was my phone to capture the event :(
