Could not resist making another quilt like this. Thanks to Keely for the loan of her quilt for the photo. She was just that much faster. If you happen to pop into the shop in the next couple of days, can see it on display. I am making this quilt for Rachel as a Christmas present. There was just one catch, she had to cut out the quilt fabrics. Nothin' better than having a 'sous quilter' in the family.

<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">Too Cool! Lunches for back to school.  <br />

<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">Mom did NOT make me these for lunch.</span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">  With that time just around the corner, <br /></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">I am left to make lunches {sigh} again. </span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">To be honest, as a Mom that was the best</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;"> part of Summer Holidays..no brown</span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;"> bagging it.   In actuality my Mom was pretty <br /></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">good at the lunch department.  </span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">Remember 'ants on a log'?  She would also cut our</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;"> apples in pretty patterns </span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">when you opened it a star burst pattern would appear.  <br /></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">Unfortunately for my </span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">kids I am lacking the inspiration for great lunches.   I 'try' to <br /></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">supply the necessary </span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">food groups.  The youngest whines she 'will not eat that!'  <br /></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">I make her take it anyways.</span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;"> I would not want the teachers to question my parenting <br /></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">skills. I know she does not eat </span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">it.  She brings it back home!  Who brings it back?  <br />

<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;">Back in the days we traded</span><span style="color: #8b8b8b; font-family: Lucida Grande;"> or <span style="font-size: 13px; font-family: Lucida Grande;">shh!..</span> threw it in the trash.</span></p></div>
