Dear Mr President,

Today, millions of Filipino’s cast their both in hoping for a better Philippines.

Today will mark another ruler of my beloved country.

I am pretty sure that you are aware of how hype this election was, of how many memes of friendship being cut because one person doesn’t know how to shut up his mouth. I believe this election is different mainly because too many voters were more conscious with their action. They are more aware that changes will only happen if it starts within ourselves.

Mr President, I won’t dilly dally with the things you already know, I want this to be my personal letter to you. You see, I am 25 right now, still single and an optimist pessimist bella right now. In 6 years, I will turn 31, hopefully with my own family, by that time I hope the Philippines is much a discipline nation. A place where I will not be afraid of syndicates possibly doing something wrong with the people around me. A place where I won’t be afraid if my sister will text me that she will go home late, or afraid that a close friend/family will be a victim or user of drugs. I hope that the Philippines will be much okay than what we are right now. I hope for a better Philippines.

I know it is difficult to meet everyone expectation, you will have received thousands of negativities but I hope that you will continue to unite the county and provide better opportunities to our siblings and kids.

The new year

You might probably think that I am crazy for saying Hi to a year that has changed 2 months ago, and maybe I am.

Someone in the church told me that the real new year starts on your birthday, so here i am.

I went to Quiapo church yesterday for confession, I wanted to start my new year right, and I feel that I badly need to do it to clean my conscience.

I was on the line when a mother and daughter fall in line after me, we were in an 'English Only' booth so the girl, aged 9 (i asked the mother) told her mother that it will be difficult for her since she needed to speak in English, that is not our mother tongue so I know the feeling. She was telling her mom the possibility of her messing up even if she knows the language,and then her mom told her this:

"Basta para kay God, kakayanin. Ang dali dali mo nga gumawa ng sins, to disobey us and be naughty pero sa pagsasabi ng sins mo sa english mahirap ka, kung kaya mo gumawa ng sins, kaya mo din magconfess"

(If it for god, its possible. It is easy for you to commit your since, disobeying us and be naughty yet it is difficult for you to speak your sins in Enlish, if you can commit a sin, you can also confess)

When her mom said that, it struck a chord in me, I re-realized again why I find it difficult to set a side a time to confess when it is not so difficult for me to commit a sin. I was standing there 2 people away from the confession room and thinking how great our God us, he speak to me at that moment and opened my heart for the activity that I will do.

The little girl is lucky, her parents know their faith and currently writing it to her habit and I love her mom, even if I don't know her because she is fulfilling her job to our savior.

I told myself that moment that if God will allow me to create my own family, I wanted to have that kind of moment, I wanted my future children to hold my hand and asking guidance on how to properly confess, to watch them taking their chance in confession and smiling after that. But for now, I promise myself to inspire my family and the people around me, that is one of the things I wanted to accomplish this new year :)

4D3N Cebu-Bohol Itinerary & Budget

Finally, after months of promises, I finally have the time to upload this.

Below is our 4D3N itinerary.

We were a group of 8, and none of us has been to Cebu but my best friend has been to Bohol and suggest to visit it instead of the Southern Cebu which will take 3 - 4 hours.

On our first day, we did a bit of amazing race and it wasn't that fun, when we reached our hostel in Bohol, my body was screaming of sleep & rest. We were up from 2 AM and while we have our wheeled luggage, it was exhausting to travel the Cebu City proper at noon.

Below was the breakdown of our cost.
The total budget, including airfare, but excluding the pasalubong: PHP 7060.00

Lesson Learned/Tips:

If you want to have a Cebu-Bohol trip, booked them both, its either your entry will be in Cebu & exit at Bohol or vice versa. This is to avoid the hassle of going back to the place you have been visited, and its time saver too.
If you have an early flight like us, take some rest first or ensure that you have somewhere to deposit/keep your luggage. It was a hassle to roam around the city with your baggage.
It takes at least 45 minutes from Cebu Airport to the City so prepare yourself for the travel (if you were like us that take the public transport) Just ask the guard where the direction where the cab is stationed.
If you will go to the Temple of Leah, Taoist Temple & Top, the only available mode of transportation is the motorcycle. I don't remember the place, but once you get there, numerous motorcycle riders will offer their service, HAGGLE! They started to offer us 150 each, one way until they settle for 150 each two way. Don't pay them immediately, pay them when you have reached your last destination and be clear with what you have agreed upon. Our riders told us that they can service us to TOP, we just need to add 20 pesos, so we thought its 20 two way, but when we were paying them, they said its 20 one way. We have cleared this before we went to TOP, but hola, their tune change, so stand your ground. I am sure not everyone is like them, but it's always good to be alert.
Don't go to TOP at noon, you will not appreciate the place. The best time to visit it is at night. Sayang yung 100 nyo kung di nyo ma-enjoy yung view.
When you are riding the ferry, they will ask you to check in the big luggages. The cost on Cebu Pier (25 per luggage) is different from Bohol Pier (50 each luggage)
For the Bohol Ferry, I suggest to check Ocean Jet, they have this Libre Balik promo, roundtrip for 800 php only, tax excluded, 969 php is the complete fare. Just contact them & check if they have the RT promo, they only have limited seats so make sure to check with them first.
It is chilly inside the Ferry, so be sure to have your jacket or anything that can help you fight the cold.

Are you still connected with God?

Have you known anyone nowadays that doesn't have a mobile phone?

I am guessing the answer is no, except for those who really can't afford it, but that is a miniscule percentage.

If we will look around us, you will notice that almost everyone has their own mobile devices, sometimes more. Gone are the days when letters are the cheapest way of communication.

Have you known anyone that doesn't use any messaging application?

I am guessing the answer is no as well. Be it on facebook, wechat, hangout, viber, kakao talk and other messaging app, one way or another, you have used it, your family and friends used it.

Have you tried not answering a text, personal or direct message? What is the reaction you got from the other line?

I am sure that you have received a litany of messages asking why are you not replying, or heard a couple of soft blows that almost everywhere there is a free internet, and it will only take few time to reply.

In these days, not answering someones call, or sending back any message is considered rude, or hurtful.

I remember one of the lessons I learned at work is, always communicate with the customers, an open communication will make the client feel at ease.

In a relationship, a constant communication is required, and a day of not communicating, will create a day of fighting.

You see, these days, we are in this phase where we all need to stay connected, to be socialized, to get informed; we are in this bubble of communication that not replying is a form of social rejection unless you have a very valid reason.

Looking at this, have we ever asked our self how about our relationship with God?

Is it as healthy as our mobile device signal?

Or as strong as our mobile internet connection?

Did we care for it the way we care for our mobile handset?

Did we ever try to open our line with him the way we ensure that our line is open for any message from family, friends and work?

Did we allot a small fraction of our time to talk to him, to thank him the same we allot a fraction of our time to make a group text, or login to our favorite social media site?

Did we try to reconnect our line with him the way we constantly reconnect with our mobile connection?

We are too clouded by these human longing to stay social that we forgot that above everything else, there is one connection that we need to be connected. No, I am not saying don't get connected or stop using the, but always remember that there is one relationship that we should cherish the way we do with our friends.

And that relationship is a relationship with our God, the creator and heavenly father, and his son, Jesus Christ.

And how will we stay connected with him?

The answer is simple.

A PRAYER.

Find a quiet place and pray with your heart's content.

Pray the same way you talk to your friends about your dreams and hardships.

Pray the same way you connect with your friend, sometimes short & concise, sometimes long and full of rambling.

Pray the same way you wanted to get connected, by listening and sharing your opinions.

Pray when you feel you feel worthy, and pray when your full of doubt,

Pray when you feel blessed and thankful, and pray when you feel down and full of insecurity.

And I promise you, a prayer a day will make you, and the one who truly loves you happy.

The AlDub Fever

Most probably you live under the rock if you haven't heard of AlDub Fever that has been taken our noontime (and twitter) by storm.

Kung sasabihin mo pa rin sa akin na: HINDI KO SILA KILALA! (with nanlalaking mata)

I'll probably tell you: REALLY teh? Di nga? Weeeh? Di ka Bitter?

At kung sasabihin mo pa rin sakin na kasi busy ka sa life mo at wala kang panahon sa Aldub na yan.

Eh di ikaw na busy! Ikaw na nagpapayaman at kami naman ay nagsasayang ng oras, Ikaw NA! IKAW NA TALAGA!!!! (Insert bitter laugh here) pero infairness sa kabusy-han mo, napuntahan mo ang hindi naman dapat pagbigyan ng oras na blog na ito kaysa mag-fb at twitter,

Kidding aside, hindi talaga ako mahilig sa local entertainment, my friends often told me to watch local entertainment once in a while kasi masyado na raw ako outdated, and that was the time when I told them about Sir Chief (or chef? see! isang taon na ata ang palabas na yun ng makilala ko sya at proud pa ako ah) Kaya ngayon, natatawa mga tao sa paligid ko kung gaano ako sumusubaybay sa love story ng AlDub.

Hindi ko napanood ang unang episode nila, pero kilala ko na si Maine dahil sa Dubsmash na pinanood ng officemate ko. Sabi ko pa nga nung una, "Kagandang babae, lukaret". At nagulat ako nung makita ko sya sa Eat Bulaga isang tanghali na himalang gising ako.

Nagsimula ako sumubaybay sa kanila nung napabrowse ako sa Eat Bulaga page at napanood ko yung episode nila, weeksary na ata yun. Hindi ako fan ni Alden, oo gwapo sya, (Aba, sino magsasabi panget si Alden isang malaking insecure hahahhaa) pero sa mga palabas nya sa 7 na napanood ko, hindi ko gusto yung mga character nya, at siguro hindi ko lang talaga sya tipo (WOW! nag-iinarte pa ako, kala mo kagandahan diba) pero, ngunit, subalit nung makita ko yung scene nila ni Maine, aba eh kinilig buong pagkatao ko, buto, laman, internal organs, lahat na 'teh! Ayun, naging isa ako sa libo libong nagtweet at nanonood sa tanghali (nagpapagising pa ako sa bahay ng All for Juan para lang makanood dahil pangabi ako) at pati sa facebook every night. Isa ako sa mga taong nagulat nung hinimatay sa si Yaya, nadisappoint nung di magkita nung nakaraang-raang Miyerkules, naiyak kay Alden nung Sabado at nakisaya rin sa hindi pagkatuloy ng kasal.

Nakakatuwa at nakakatawa rin sa tuwing nagbrowse ako sa social media dahil lumalabas ang pagka-creative ng mga tao, yung mga sign na on-break dahil Kalyeserye na, o yung mga umuuwi ng maaga para sumakto sa Kalyeserye, dun sa mga estudyante na nakikinood sa canteen at sa lahat ng patunay kung gaano nagclick ang segment na to.

Sa ilang linggo kong pagsubaybay, hindi iilang beses ko naisip na ano ba meron sa Kalyeserye at AlDub bakit andami nahuhumaling dito, at kahit yung mga kaibigan ko na hindi ko inaasahang nanonood eh fanatic din pala.

Sa ilang linggo na iyon, ito ang napansin kong mga rason.

Unscripted

Oo sa ngayon, partyly scripted na sya, pero nagsimula lahat ng ito nung nawala sa character nya si Maine dahil nasa monitor si Alden at nanonood sa kanya. Pag naiisip ko yung ngiti nya na yun, kinikilig pa rin ako kasi alam ko na totoo yun, hindi scripted, walang nagsabi sa kanya. At yung itsura ni Alden nung niloloko sila, nakakatuwa din, nahihiya sya na hindi mo maintindihan.

Up until now, the show remains the scripts to be shared by the Brgy creative staff to ensure that even the studio host wouldn't know what's going to happen. I really want to hug the staff because they were able to hold those 'real' moments really well. They know when to push everyone to their seat and pull to let the audience get hook and wait until the next episode.

Breath of fresh air

Connected to sa unang point ko, nasimula ang Kalyeserye na ito ng hindi inaasahan. I remember I read an article about AlDub and they say it's an accidental surprise even for them. Nasabi ko na, na hindi ako fan ng local entertainment, at ang isa sa major reason ko ay dahil napaka-predictable nito. May mamatay na malapit sa bida, may kikidnapin bandang dulo o gitna para humaba istorya, may nakipagpalit ng asawa, or nangaliwa. Paulit, ulit na lang at nakakasawa na (AT WALA AKONG INEEXEMPT NA NETWORK DUN!).

Itong accident story ng Kalyeserye is something new, something na iba pa nagagawa ng iba at hindi rin malamang magagawa agad dahil how can you make an accident happen???

Iba pa rin ang Eat Bulaga

I can't make a good title, except for this, so you guys know that I cannot be a creative writer >.<, EB has been running for 36 years now, and we all know that you cannot be constant and earn 36 years in a pickle word of show business just because of luck.

Hindi ko alam sino kumuha kay Maine, pero kung sino man sya, kudos to you dear. Maine dubsmash compilation is mainly from Kris Aquino, so I am wondering why she is in GMA but I do believe that things that are meant to happen will happen and maybe it is indeed faith that brought her to EB to have this entertaining segment.

I read two days ago that EB Think-tank is so deep, it bleeds oil (charing!), pero totoo naman na sa tagal nila sa noon-time show business, nothing beat them mainly because they have these long list of know-how and they know when to make something out of something.

Yung Wed na hindi sila nagkita, naiinis na ako kasi naiisip ko na baka gawin ng milking cow yung AlDub, at mawawala na yung interest ko kasi pinapapatagal nila masyado, pero that day naisip ko rin yung mga payo ni Lola about waiting for the right time and the instant noodle example. Nung thursday na yun, nanood ulit ako at mas natuwa ako kasi habang pinapatagal nila pagkikita ng dalawa, dumadami din yung lesson na sini-share ni Lola,

Eat Bulaga knows their social responsibility, minsan hindi halata pero dun sa mga programs nila gaya ng Plastic ni Juan and Scholarship, makikita mo na alam nila yung power na meron sila. At nakakatuwang isipin na while they are sharing the jokes in the most Pinoy ways, they are also sharing the lesson we often forgot. Natutuwa ako na pinataas nila yung moral value nang courtship and love. tayong Something that our networks, TV producer must learn from. (PLEASE make other valuables show, hindi po lahat iikot sa third party, or kidnapping or other things.)

Alden, Maine & Wally (and the Brgy Staff)

I don't think Kalyeserye will be this big if not for these 3.

Call if accidental fame or what, but it wouldn't be this college if Maine didn't have a real life crush with Alden. It wouldn't be super kilig if Alden is not so shy acting silly and awkward with Maine, and it wouldn't be this crazy if Wally is not that great being the story antagonist.

Hindi ko pinaliliit yung importance ng role nila Jose, Paulo, The Rogelio's, Riding in Tandem at lahat ng bumubuo sa Kalyeserye, pero syempre itong tatlo yung bida. Everyone got super kilig with Alden & Maine because their chemistry is undeniable naman talaga ^^ And this whole Kalyeserye have a life because of Lola Nidora's character.

Kudos to the Brgy staff aswell, grabe ang galing nyo. Ang hirap magexecute ng ganoon segment na live lahat, walang take two >.< (HANDS DOW

Pinoy Humor as its finest

One thing I forgot to mention in Point three is that I love how EB named their segment. it's witty and you cannot disguise the Pinoy Humor (hello word play and the jab of the negative things into funny things.

Nakuha ng Kalyeserye ito ng bongga, sila Rogelio, Rogelio, Rogelio, Rogelio pa lang nanakit na tiyan ko sa katatawa. Idagdag mo pa ang Riding in Tandem, ang official delivery boy ni Alden hahaha. Tapos is Frankie Arinoli pa. Word play, word play, simple lang pero in na in diba?

Nakakatuwa din na hindi sila nanlalait, they just present it as it is and make so much fun on the absurdity of it, one thing that we, pinoy love to do.

Simple

From the same article where I got the think-tank word, the author said that it is too simple. And I agree na ang AlDub kalyeserye ay sobrang simple, pero ito rin yung rason bakit sya click. Lahat nakakaunawa, normal na nangyayari sya at napansin ko na ang mga palabas na halos kapareha sa tunay na buhay ay mas madaling tangkalikin kaysa sa mga palabas na sobrang pinag-iisipan na hindi na makatotohanan.

Mahirap sabihin kung bakit talaga click ang AlDub, pero isa lang ang sigurado ako, bukas panonoorin ko sila dahil hindi na tutol si Lola ^^

Baka sa Sabado na ang tamang panahon! kaya mga ka #Aldub fanatics, tweet pa more! nood pa more ha! ^^

At sa mga di pa nanonood ng Kalyeserye, buhay nyo naman yan so tuloy lang hihihi. Basta kami kinikilig, pampabuhay sa tulog na puso hahahaha.

Bigbang MADE Concert

A few days after the Big Bang MADE Concert in Manila, I finally able to catch some coherent thoughts to post something though I still have the concert hangover.

I can’t find a word to describe what I feel when I see them again almost three years after, the fan girl in me is just screaming about how surreal everything is, and how lucky I am to be standing there and listening to them LIVE! Nothing beats hearing your favorite artist’s voices LIVE, it’s so raw and gave me chills.

We are seated on Lower Box, the same seat we had on the Alive Tour and I was disappointed on our seat because it seems far compare to the last concert and the stage doesn’t really live up to what I was expecting (I know it’s my fault for not researching more). I should have gotten the Row 206 to see them better, but I was in a mid-state of panic when I was buying out tickets because their LB tickets sells like hot cakes. But it was difficult to be in a negative state when you are in a concert watching your favorite band, so those thought disappear quickly as they came.

Compare to Alive tour, I am happy that they let the fans early, WAY EARLIER than the last time, I almost kissed the arena’s face by running fast to get in time to witness the ALIVE opening act, and I was on the line outside at 4:00 PM then. By 7:30, almost everyone was inside the arena and singing along with the M.A.D. music videos, which I am pretty sure made the boys happy.

They started the concert singing BANG BANG BANG, which is a really great concert/party song, I am actually excited to see this live because I can imagine how this will be at their concert, and it didn’t fail me. It really puts everyone into a very hype party mode. I did some research for their MADE set list so I am actually expecting some of the songs from their old albums such as Fantastic Baby (I fell in love with this song from their Alive concert), Blue, Bad Boy, Stupid Liar, Lies, and of course they sang all the songs from the M.A.D album. They can sing anything live and I will probably be a happy fangirl (yep, some blind love there).

For their solo stage, Seungri started it with Strong Baby & Let’s talk about love with GD and Taeyang. The Nyongtory feels is so strong there, especially when Seungri said “GD Pogi Pogi” (GD Handsome Handsome) while holding Ji’s face. I was screaming like a mad girl, heck everyone is screaming like it’s a mad house. Those two are super cute!

Then it was followed by Daesung’s Wings performance, and strip with the bias, he really has a magnificent voice. Those high notes are such a small thing for him. My friends and I was expecting him to descend from the ceiling, though we know it wouldn’t happen, no one can hurt by a simple wishful thinking :P. I feel bad while listening to him because I realized that 3 years after, he still sings Wings in live concert. I hope he will have another song soon.

TOP Doom Dada was played next, and all I did was thinking how good looking he is the whole time. I am not fond of Doom Dada, mainly because I find its concept scary and the tune is a bit scary, but it didn’t stop me from singing Doom Dada divi DA DA.

Then Taeyang sang Eyes Lips Nose, and for some time, I noticed that the venue is silent until the chorus, and I am pretty sure everyone feels like he is singing only for them. I feel goose bumps all over me while listening to him, his voice is really flawless.

Last was Jiyong and he sang Crooked in a pink & black suit! My best friend told me that if you can be that handsome in an orange hair (like chick that's being sold in the Fiesta’s) and in pink & black suit, nothing can make you look ugly, I can only nod. Heck, he is so good looking with mud all over him in RM, how can I assume he will not be good looking with anything????

They ended the solo performance with Jiyong and Taeyang singing Good Boy. I think by this point, my throat is screaming at me for shouting ‘I am a Good Boy’ as loud as I can.

I am not sure when the second talk sets start, but I just found myself swooning over them. They are interacting with us, and speaking in English, and bit of Filipino. I am not sure if it started with Taeyang or TOP because I was screaming and laughing and swooning that time.

Bingu TOP is really adorable!!! He is sending thumb hearts all over the place while doing a funny dance. That handsome face + cute gesture = a fangirl’s heart attack.

I was laughing so much because of Daesung, in the first talk set, he made everyone laugh by asking “Nakikita nyo ba ako?” (Can you see me?) While his bangs brushed down in front of his eyes, his MADE concept. He was asking everyone if we wanted to see his big eyes, and of course we said yes, then bows and abruptly stands upright so that his bangs flip away from his eyes. He gives us an open-mouthed smile while trying to make his eyes bigger. Seungri was teasing him and saying ‘Yes, so big’ in the background.

I think Daesung is on the roll that night, he was so funny. On the second talk set, he was in the middle of his speech when he said “You know..” I think he is in the middle of remembering what he is supposed to he saying, or composing what he will say in English, but the PH VIP shouted “WHAT!” And he said again “You know..” And PH VIP answered “WHAT?” And he ended it by saying “I don’t know!” While laughing so much. He keeps saying thank you and he loves us when Seungri asked him to show his love. He did his Japan famous chest dance with T.O.P while Seungri was laughing so hard in the side.

Seungri is such a flirt, he is a major bias ruiner!!!! Well, we all know how great he is in fan service. He did a Pabebe thing (current trend and slang for aegyo but it's annoying) with Giyomi, and I wonder that time if he can any be cuter because I swear I might die from excessive happiness because of him. He keeps shouting and laughing and it’s so nice hearing his laughter. I am not sure when but at one point he even said “Cute nyo po” and “Cute mo po”. He has been so talkative as always and he said “ This is awesome!!! Super super awesome!” And of course, we scream our lungs out. It was so funny when he said he want to live in Manila, Philippines, that he wanted to buy a house and live us and then Taeyang suddenly said “Thank you for ten years” and he was speechless. It was a super cute moment between Taeyang & Seungri, and super funny too! He was super pump up that he ate his English words (We cannot understand what he’ saying) and the only we can hear was either JUMP! Or Thank you, both are the endings of his sentences.

There is one thing that best describe GD, and it’s an adjective I heard from my friend. He is such a Diva, and it is not negative at all. He didn’t say so many things unlike their maknae and Taeyang but when he stood on the stage, you would look at him and can’t ignore his presence. You can feel the leader vibe with him and I swear I feel that I needed to keep quiet when it’s his turn to speak and making hand gestures to silence the crowd. At that moment, I can personally why he is their leader. He was speaking about their next release E and when the fans ask if they will sing it, he said to wait until next week. (Such a cute leader hehe!) It is so nice to see his confused face, he was in the middle of his talk about E and PH VIPS shouted “SAMPLE! SAMPLE! SAMPLE!”(A slang we used it when we requested to see a person's talent, short for example) that he speak in Korean to ask if any of the members know what we are asking. Seungri is such a sweetheart, after he explains what we are asking him immediately beat boxed the song Dope and the member start with a snippet of it :D

I don’t remember much of what Taeyang has said except when he joked with Seungri that they will leave him and his Thank you’s and when he sing “When I say Ma, you say NILA!” (I am so sorry Taeyang fans >.< Seungri, GD and Daesung really get my attention >.<).

The concert last for almost 3 hours, and as it always feels so short but our legs & throat feels sore at that moment. I am super happy to see them again after 3 years, and who knows when since their military duties clock are ticking.

At the end of the concert, I can’t help but compare The Alive Concert to MADE. This year's concert was full of personal touches, not that Alive doesn’t have it, but they communicate more here, they speak more, maybe we can attribute it to the fact that they know what they will see, they have an idea of PH VIP’s. I love how much interaction we got here. We got more fireworks and the stage is much better in terms of aesthetics than before, I seriously love those effects, but I was afraid as well because of the current fireworks incident with Bigbang. But I love the Alive T stage more because the boys can run freely. I read some PH VIPS post that they feel that Alive was more lively, and they seem crazier in there and I did agree with them and I can only pinpoint the stage as the culprit. The Alive Tour stage doesn’t have any stairs that can hinder their mobility, they need to ensure their safety first and foremost. If the stage is near as flat as the Alive, I am pretty sure the MADE concert will be much more amazing!

If there is another thing that I wished happened in this concert, I hoped they sang more of their old songs like A Fools Tear, Last Farewell, Heaven and other songs from the 2007. I was pretty surprised when they don’t sing Heaven. I became their fan late 2008, and I was immediately hooked with Lies, I love the Bigbang groove back then, and I still love them and I will forever love them until whenever, just like what the VIP’s line. I do love their new songs, it’s so catchy and no one can deny how great concert song they are, but I guess I just missed the old them so much. I hope I can save this year so I can see them in Korea next year (crossing fingers).

Though I do have my wishful moments as a fan, I really did enjoy this concert. They made me realized again why they are the top South Korean Idols, and why I love them so much. They really did set the bar high.

Before I end this ultra mega long post, I wanted to give cheers to Big Bang PH for all of their efforts, I really love the white ocean in If You and the Blue & Yellow lights for Blue. It was such an amazing sight! The banner is awesome as well ^^

Touchdown: Cebu & Bohol

This is a DIY/Amazing Race/Budget and Too-many-first trip.

I have never been in Cebu & Bohol, so planning and organizing trip have really racked my brain and it's the first out of town trip with my high school buddies + their boyfriends that involved an airplane, so I feel all the pressure to make this as smooth as possible, though no one really putting pressure on me (me being an over-thinker can really kill me one of these days)

This trip is supposed to be in Palawan, but you know how airline sales go in the Philippines, so we changed our target location and booked Cebu instead. While searching for the Tourist Spot in Cebu, we learned that the beaches are 3 hours away from the city so my best friend suggested to go in Bohol since she's been there instead of spending some time in South Cebu, and this trip was born.

It was a 4 days & 3 nights DIY trip last July17-20 (except in Bohol in which we have an amazing contact ^^). I have mentioned that it feels like an amazing race, and it is. Our bound for Cebu flight was scheduled at 6:00 AM so we need to leave our house at 3:00 AM, so sleep is nowhere in sight that day. For this whole trip, we sleep from one place & woke up in another.

My best friend, her boyfriend and I close our eyes when the airplane takes off, the last we heard was the plane was experiencing some turbulence and we woke up when the flight attendance were announcing that we have arrived at Cebu.

Our plan was to do some city sightseeing before we board the Bohol bound ferry. We act like locals so after lunch at SM Cebu, we went to Fort San Pedro via Jeepneys and walk towards the Magellan Cross (we have our luggage that time, so it's a bit of a hassle and the Cebu heat can compete with Manila).

After our must have tourist shot, we head to Pier 1 to wait for our Ferry Boat Schedule. I was worshipping their port because it saves us from heat (they are air conditioned!) and we have ample of time to rest from our busy itinerary.

We spent the 2nd day with water related activities, such as Dolphin's watching (too bad I don't have a pic for that, but we saw them!), snorkeling, swimming with Pawikans and visiting Virgin Island.

We did visit the bee farm and gained some knowledge about them, though what we have retained must be something our tour guide don't want to hear.

Trivia:

* Jollibee's butt & twirl dance is actually a dance used by the scout bees to teach the collector bees the direction of where to get their food.

* All workers are female bees

* They have a very systematic system.

What we have learned from the Bee Farm?

* Some of the our guys wanted to be a Drone Bee, imagine you will be lazy all your life and wait for the queen impregnation days. Who wouldn't want a job like that?

* I will never be a scout or collectors bee, I have issues with directions

* I long to be a queen bee! haha

Our 3rd day was spent on appreciating Bohol's gift. We went to see the Tarsier and took some pics with the famous Chocolate Hills. We even ate chichaworm, which tasted like dried shrimp shell. We ate at Loboc Cruise & Buffet and listen to their famous choir and took some post card shot at Blood Compact Shrine.

The day 3 ended with us boarding the ferry going back to Cebu. Once we were in Cebu, we immediately checkin at our pension house, went outside to look for food before we took our rest for that day.

Our day 4 start a bit late, we have left the pension house near 11 PM and check out our things (The pension house was so kind to let us leave our luggage there so we could roam around the city). We ate at the local eat all you can seafood restaurant, their food is really good at an affordable amount . After our lunch, we proceed on visiting Temple of Leah and Taoist temple. The only way to visit the Temple of Leah was to ride a motorcycle, and so we rent one. The ride going to the Temple is really good, we enjoyed it since you have the chance to see the whole city.

We went to the Taoist temple after and we took some wrong turn that resulted in long walk, then we had tried to walk again from the temple to our pension house that didn't end so well so we unanimously decide to ride a jeep before we all die from exhaustion.

We are a big group so we decided that some of us will go to Tabo-an market, while the rest will go straight to the airport with the rest of our baggage. After our pasalubong hunts, it slips on our mind that a taxi can only accommodate 4 passengers, so my best friend and I decided to get another cab and let her boyfriend, and our other 2 friends ride the cab.

The taxi hailing was a bit stressful since it's already rush hour, and I swear we looked like 2 crazy girls hailing while walking because we were running out of time. Our flight was schedule at 9:20 PM and it was past 7. We were really lucky that one man told us to walk straight ahead since there is a near by mall, and the taxi driver wasn't picky, he let us board the taxi and turn on the meter.

Once we were in the airport, we had been informed that our flight was delayed. We stayed 4 more hours at the airport, and get on the 2:00 AM flight.

I would say this is a successful trip, and we actually met our budget! :D

So I am pretty sure that we will have more trip in the future! ^^

Katatanong lang yan ng bago kong kaibigan.
Hindi ko sigurado kung may transcript ba ang mga conversion sa newly found friends, na after ng age, crushes at status, masasama ang tanong na yan.

Bakit nga ba ako single?
Hindi ko rin talaga alam, siguro kasi kung alam ko baka hindi ako single ngayon.
Hindi naman ako panget, as in pang horror movie panget, wala naman ako body odor, marunong naman ako mag-hold ng conversation, at marami akong kaibigan (Diba, pakapalan na ng face to). Pero hindi ko rin alam kung bakit maski manliligaw wala ako.

Sabi ng bestfriend ko, masyado daw kasi akong perfect girl friend (magkahiwalay yan ah), so in short, nasa friendzone ako. Pero minsan feeling ko niloloko lang ako ng bestfriend ko para di ako magdrama, at kumanta.

Sabi ng boyfriend nya, di daw kasi ako nagbibigay ng aura na okay akong ligawan (May aura pa lang ganoon, last year ko lang nalaman)

Sabi pa ng isa kong friend, destiny ko lang daw talagang maging taga-payo/taga-ayos ng gala ng barkada. (Eh diba ang selfish nila! Hahaha)

Hindi ko tuloy alam kung dapat ako mabother, or baka sakali lang talaga wala pa yung taong maglalakas ng loob na manligaw sakin at makisama sa mga nakakabaliw kong trip sa buhay. Siguro hindi pa binigay ni Papa God sa taong yun ung daan para makita nya ako. At naniniwala naman kasi ako, na hindi naman porke't wala kang love life pag nasa 20's ka na, malungkot na ang buhay mo. Eh ito nga ako, masaya at kontento naman. Pero minsan kainggit lang din hahaha. Hindi naman ako maglalaho pag wala akong love life ng 25 eh, so sa ngayon, sige gora lang. Enjoyin ang pagiging single, may purpose naman yun, gaya ng pagiging topic nya sa post ko today ^^

Three weeks ago, my classmate invited me to attend the Christian Life Program (CLP), the first part to be a member of Single's For Christ (SFC).

Three weeks since I decided to fully embrace this calling.
I am not that religious, and always fail to go to church every Sunday, but I know that I have this intimate relationship with Papa God.
I actually don't know when I slightly look at him sideways instead of pursuing the path of serving him, a promise I told myself I will do when I became an adult.

Three weeks have passed and today he makes me realize again that this is the way I should go, to serve him and work again with our intimacy.

I love the topic of our today's fellowship: What it means to be a Christian?
The speaker said so many wonderful things and these are what I remember the most
- God calls us not on our best moments but he calls us when we are at our worst
- God doesn't want you to feel the burden of your sins, that is why he already bears it. The only thing he wants is for you to serve, follow him and do your part.
- God wants us to love each other, to complete and not compete.
- And God has his own timing, he will provide you better just trust and have faith with him. Man's rejection is God's redirection.

The speaker encourages us to have that intimate personal relationship with God, in which you can open our heart to him. And today, till the rest of my day, I will work to have a continuous intimate relationship with him. I won't back out and hide my face, because I know he will still love me in my dirtiest, ugliest state.

For the past years, I always tell myself to post anything or do something with this.
I often look at other blogs and feel envy because they did it.
I wanted that too, and I read somewhere that for a hobby to stick, you need to do it for 30 days.
And starting today, I will start that challenge.

Christmas 2013

For the last 22 years I am celebrating the birthday of our dear savior.

I am happier and much thanful today for everything that I have.

I don't have all the things that I want, nor have the people that I like to meet.

I didn't do something so BIG this year, nor experience a once in a lifetime feat.

But I am thankful because I have the people who I need around me,

I am thankful because I received a gift that not many people experience, it may be not a solid second life but it is technically like that and for that I am truly glad.

I am thankful that he gives me the things that I need, not in the way I like them to be but in his own wonderful mysterious way.

There are so many things that I am still lacking as his child, but I am glad that this year he solidify all the foundations and let me realize that I am more than what I am thinking of.

I am glad, happy, thankful and feel so blessed that this Christmas I can't help but utter a sincere thanks to all the things he's been given to me and my family.

Happy Birthday Papa God :)

Opposite attracts.

I have finished reading The Hunger Games trilogy (Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mocking Jay) last Sunday. Actually I have read The Hunger Games but decided not to read the next book because the first one is a complete series as it is, and to avoid too much excitement over the next movie.
A weekend before I start reading the book, I watched the Catching Fire and it leaves me hanging and of course I am not the kind of person who doesn't like to be hanging for sometime, I decided to read the two books and broke my promise a year ago.

Honestly, I am so in love with Katniss and Peeta's that I really hate it that the Catching Fire was ended like that. I also believe that when a reader felt that something has ended when you finished reading a book, that means the book is really good and that is what I felt after reading Hunger Games. (I have felt it aswell when I read Harry Potter, The Perks Of Being a Wallflower, and some other great books too!)
I am still in the Hunger Games fan world that I can't help but think about it, and the lives that has been lost, the opportunity, the scenes, the heartbreaks and fears. It brings me so much emotions that I was really crying while reading >.<

I think I have three favorite lines/quotes from the whole series and it was top of this, which was on the last part.

What I need to survive is not Gale’s fire kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again and only Peeta can give me that.
So after when he whispers, “You love me. Real or not real?”
I tell him, “Real”

While reading it over and over again, I can't help by recalling the force of magnetism, which is the opposite attracts, and alike repel. Peeta and Katniss were so different, the one is so free and open, while the other wanted to always in control. Katniss and Gale are the alike poles, though they did not repel and there is a point in time, if maybe if the odds are in their favor, they end up being married though I really doubt that they will have any child.

I recall that saying and realized why Peeta is really the best for Katniss, and why normal people also falls for the person who are the opposite of them. Katniss is right that what she needs is her dandelion in the spring, that can give hope and promises. I am not actually sure of this, but maybe looking at someone with different perspective that you are can give you more life that looking at someone with the same feelings like you. Katniss is a dark character, same with Gale, and if you will put yourself into her shoes, it is scary to look in someone else eyes with your reflection. It's frightening, and she knows that what Gale's eyes will reflect, yes he love her, and she love him once upon a time when she didn't feel how it is to look into someone eyes with different view. It is comforting, refreshing, and something that gives you hope, a thing that makes us going.

It is nice to have Gale actually, someone so much like you but at the end of the day, we all have this feeling that you wanted to detach yourself from the reality, you wanted to escape in your own body and having someone so much like you is too much.

I really do love Peeta, the boy who could do everything for the love of his life and wish that I could meet someone like him. Someone who could bring me hope in the little but best possible ways. I love that Katniss choose him, that they are meant to be, and how fate turns to be.

I think I will still be in Hunger Games world for a month, and hopefully I can survive without crying my eyes out once I re-read the books, and some fan fictions.
And the movie also meet the right cast ^^ They are great and hilarious at the same time! :)

I hope the odds will be in our favor! :D

A day before my surgery, yes I am afraid but it lesser than the feeling that I feel so loved.
I might be crazy but I think one of the things that I realized with all of this is that I am really special to the people I treat special aswell.
Most of my friends expresses their fear, and wonder why I treat this lightly. I don't but I just realized that being afraid won't help me and I know that they are always with me, so what is there to be afraid to?
A little pain is nothing compared to the relieved I will have after this.

A book and wrong decision.

Nicholas Spark isn't my favorite author out there because he always makes me cry with all his creations, but I can't help reading and watching his works adaptation.
And being me, I read another book of him and again I was in for a heartbreak.
I can't help but crying while reading and sometimes this is the main reason why I don't want to read anything, I get so hooked and emotional that it felt my life has been affected.

Amanda and Dawson.
I hate it that they didn't pursue their second chance, but at the same this makes their love so pure and sacred. They were wrapped back to their teen-age self and it feels so ethereal I guess. I think that is one thing that love always gives, the feeling of never growing old, the feeling of you are always the best person you can be.

I feel so sad about Dawson because he's always on the sad part of life, some are because of his choices while most are because of what life given to him.

I can't blame Amanda for the choices she made, she's a mother and that change everything, I guess.

I love and hate this novel because it depicts what we are all going through, in some way of another. We make choices, we live with that choice.

There are two quotations that stuck with me actually,

“Life was messy. Always had been and always would be and that was just the way it was, so why bother complaining? You either did something about it or you didn’t, and then you lived with the choice you made.”

“I gave you the best of me, he'd told her once, and with every beat of her son's heart, she knew he'd exactly done that.

The Love Lesson

For the last years, I think there is something so amusing with the push and pull relationship, even the friend zone type of romance. I always think that it is cute watching a couple, acting like a couple, without even being a couple, weird and confusing right?

I always think that they just needed a little more time, and a little more push and they will be the cutest couple ever.

I think that it is nice to see a nice guy watching over to this girl, until he have enough courage to confess. Or a girl waiting for the confession.

I found everything so cute and endearing that I sometimes fool myself that, that kind of relationship is okay.

Until recently, when reality pulls you in and you realized that the push and pull, and friend zone are a coward relationship. The two people held on to their feelings assuming that they have all the time when in fact they don't. These people trapped themselves in believing that maybe the other one have a special feeling too, but you don't know because you never asked and you just pacify yourself with that thought; because deep within you, you are just afraid of rejection. Not realizing the prolonging this agony, is much bitter than the rejection itself.

Sudden Death

A tragic incident happened last week Friday(sept 6), our barangay captain was shot inside the barangay hall.
He was declared as dead after an hour from the time he was sent to the hospital.
The news was so sudden that I don't believe my sister when she told me, my mom talked to him an hour before that tragic event.

I am not close with him, but my family is.
I am actually grateful towards him because of all the help he provided.
And hearing this event happen brought fear and sadness to me.

I don't like death, though I have overcome my fear towards it and accepted that it will come one day, I still prefer not to think too much on this or else I wouldn't able to sleep peacefully and cry until my eyes hurts.

Yesterday, I went to his last wake where the family created a small program to remember him.
I didn't see the presentation because I went in late but I had a chance to listen to his family members' speeches. I think that it's good that I didn't watch it since I am pretty sure I will bawl and cry.
While listening to them, there is one thing that I observed and feel, the bitterness is so thick and sharp that it can slice you; and I cannot blame them.
As I sit there, I can understand why they are saying things like that. It is difficult to admit death, what more if it is accidental and so tragic like this. I know it's not good to compare but it is easier to accept if that person is old or sick, you can justify that it is natural and you want them to be free from this burden. But a sudden tragic death like someone shot your family member in an ordinary day, and the case is not yet close, that is something than can give anyone an ill feeling that no one wanted to feel.

Today is his burial day.
I didn't went with my parent and youngest sibling, along with people in our barangay in sending him off.
Our community is so silent right now because almost everyone went, and I think this is a great indication that his constituents respect and adore him.

I do wish that the criminals would be caught immediately and justice shall be served.
And I do hope that this is the last time.

What does the MillionPeopleMarch mean?

Today is National Heroes Day, a very appropriate day for the Filipino to gather and let our voices be heard.
I joined the event, though I am alone I never felt like one while standing and roaming around the Luneta Park listening to different groups discussion, and observing them.

While standing there, I proved these two things to myself.

The Social Media is very powerful, and the march proved that we, normal Filipino citizen who spend hours sharing our ideas and selfies on social media is walking our talk and standing on our decisions and opinions about abolishing that stinky Pork Barrel. This march proved everyone that the people on social media is serious about fighting this long-history of pork barrel corruption and the government should take this seriously.
Filipino loves it country, and this movement to cleanse the system is one proof of that. I often heard that other country said that we lack nationalism, and I am proud to say that you are wrong, we do love it and this proves our passion to change the corrupt government. The lack of nationalism is an effect of the lack of trust that the Filipino's have to our government.

I have to admit that I don't really trust rallies or anything like this because I do know that masses can be paid. Those political rallies before where they shout and carry large signs, half of the people there are paid a hundred or two just to shout, so i don't they have credibilities but I don't blame the peole who got paid there because for them, it is a job and a mean for them to fed their families.

Standing their and looking at families, group of friends, students and different organizations makes me feel the unity of the people in full sincerity. I am not paid to go there, wear white and listen but I went because I know in some way I am making a difference, and the people whom I meet also feels like that.

I didn't finished the whole rally, and went home early because I needed to ran some errands, but I also felt proud when they said that the park is litter-free after the event. I am happy because it also shows the normal people accountability and it is different from the normal news of litter-everywhere (because of the paid rallies >.<)

I feel happy and proud that I joined this, and I keep supporting the change the we wanted to see not only because I am a tax-payer (but that played a big part) but I also wanted to see a better place for my sister and the future Filipino's.

So at the end of my day, what does this march means?

I think aside from cleansing the government, and serve us what we deserve (because the money is ours in the first place), this march means that everyone is united to make the right change and a wake up call to the government who promises to obey it's bosses command. It means that the silence and patience we give to them has reached it's limit and today, we demand to seek the truth and received what we deserved.

I didnt finished the event but I spent so much time on social media and wanted to share my opinions on some popular question/reactions:

Do I want President Aquino to resign? Why?

- No. If he will resign, who will take his position? Another corrupt government official, I am tired with that process, let's end it please. I do actually love that this will be cleanse under the Aquino government because it do came from his own mouth that we are his boss, we will fight the corruption, we will make sure that those who do wrong things will be punished and I am waiting for him to stand on his slogan 'Daan na matuwid'. I do think that the worse thing it can happen to a person is bite back what he had said, and the public will knows it.

What can I say to those who wanted the Snap Election?

- Dear countrymen, we are in a democratic country, and mostly the people who are shouting this are the same people who put him into this position. And again, if we will have a snap election, who will take his seat? Does that person will really support our cause? I don't think so. Let's just asked the government to do what they had promised.

What can I say to Aggabao statement "PDAF is not for them. It is for the class, the dirt poor"

- We do know that, and that is not the reason why we went to Luneta. We go there because we wanted the stinky pork barrel to be scrapped and ensure that the taxes we pay goes directly to the social services that is intended to our countrymen who needs it most. I don't think he understand the feeling of seeing your payslip get deducted for thousands of your hard-earned money and watched on media that these money didnt help your countrymen but let the people in the government buy mansions and high-end cars. As a tax payer, we demand to know where our money goes, and that is a normal thing. Actually on a normal transactions, you get a receipt of what you pay for. Don't talk if you will only dig your own grave.

What can I say about Lacierda?

- Shut up please :) You're not helping your administration, you're just making things blow out of proportion. Many times people have said, pick the right words because if you messed it up, and your crowd is a very sensitive and intellectual people, they will pry you for what you said. Enough pacifying us please, we have our own mind and we do undertand what you mean, the problem here is that you don't understand what we mean :D

What can I say about the Legislative branch who keep insisting that only those who misused it should be banned to use the pork barrel system, and we should not generalized.

- Well, dear law makers, there are three brances of the Philippine Government, The Executive, The Legislative and The Judiciary. Each is a separate entity to ensure accountability. Your work is to create law for the people, update it to ensure we are protected. It doesnt included on your job role to think how you will help on funding the projects because your role is to make laws. There are so many outdated law on our constitution, and what are you doing? Sitting there and talking with different people? Arent you guys ashamed? We an ordinary people, who pay taxes, goes to work everyday, and spent more than 8 hours on our offices. We work and make improvement everyday to the people whom we worked with, while you seating there getting money from us, isnt that unfair?

Dear Noynoy,

Ngayon ay ginugunita natin ang kamatayan ng iyong bayaning ama, hindi pa ako buhay noong mga panahong iyon pero humahanga ako sa katapangan at pagmamahal nya sa bayan. Hindi kita binoto noong eleksyon dahil hindi ko naman makita ang iyong kwalipikasyon bukod sa anak ka ni Ninoy. Marami sigurong magtatanong sa akin bakit ko nasabi yun, sino nga ba naman ako, ano ang alam ko. Pero marunong naman akong umintindi, at ang desisyon ko sa pagboto ay nakadepende sa kung ano ang nabasa ko tungkol sa mga nagawa ng mga kandidato bago pa sila magpasa ng COC. Oo, isa ako sa mga taong nagtataka bakit andami pa din sa ating mamayan ang hindi natuto sa mga nangyari sa nakaraan pero sabi nga nila, bigyan ka natin ng benefit of the doubt, baka nga naman may mga pagbabago kaming makikita at mararanasan sa administrasyon mo.

Noong unang SONA mo noong 2010, ang natatandaan kong tinalakay mo ang badyet ng bansa at sinabi mong malaki sa atin ang nawala at kung saan saang tanggapan ito nawala. Sabi mo pa nga

"Sa administrasyon po natin, walang kota-kota, walang tongpats, ang pera ng taumbayan ay gagastusin para sa taumbayan lamang."

Ikaw din ang nagsabi na pananagutin natin ang corrupt sa gobyerno, dahil and administrasyon mo ay nasa daang matuwid at kami ang boss mo.

Ilang linggo ko nang sinusubaybayan ang mga ulat tungkol sa Pork Barrel Scam, kung san napupunta ang buwis ng mga ordinaryong mamayan na katulad ko. Isa sa mga mga kiniinisan ko sa nakalipas na linggo ay noong ikompara mo pa ang Fertilizer Fund Scam sa Pork Barrel issue ngayon. Sa mga nakalipas na taon na nasa katungkulan ka, lagi ko na lamang naririnig na malaki ang nawala noong nakaraan administrasyon, minana mo lamang ang lahat ng ito (problema) sa nakaraang administrasyon, puro na lang nakaraang administrasyon. Hindi pa pwedeng ang marining naman namin ay, ganito ang gagawin natin, wag na nating tingnan ang nakaraan at baguhin natin ang kasalukuyan. Pero hindi, puro paninisi na lamang, paano tayo uunlad kung lagi na lang ang maririnig namin sayo ay paninira o pagdedepensa na lahat ng ito ay dahil sa nakaraang administrasyon?

Kahit naman mas maliit din ang nawawala sa gobyerno, hindi naman piso or limang piso ang pinag-uusapan natin, milyong piso na galing sa bulsa at pinaghirapan ng mga ordinaryong mamayan na katulad ko at sa paningin namin, hindi maliit ang tawag doon. Milyong piso na pinakinabangan ng iilang tao na nasa administrasyon mo, milyong piso na pinagpawisan, pinagpaguran ng milyon milyong ordinaryong Pilipino para itulong sana sa iba ring Pilipino.

Hindi ko alam kung naiintindihan mo bakit madaming katulad ko ang naglalabas ng sama ng loob sa mga social media at nais na mapakulong ang mga taong dapat na maparusahan. Hindi rin ako sigurado kung naranasan mo ang mga pinagdadaanan ng libo-libong mamayan para lamang kumita ng pera pangtustos sa pangangailangan ng pamilya nila. Madaming OFW ang iniiwan ang pamilya para lamang kumita ng pera, madaming tao ang nagtitiyaga sa pang-gabing trabaho para lamang kumita ng mas malaki, madaming tao ang sinusugod ang baha at ulan makapasok lamang, o kaya naman ay hindi ini-inda ang sakit ng katawan. Buwan buwan, nagababayad kami ng buwis mula sa mga pinaghirapan namin kasi gusto rin namin na umasenso ang bansang kinalalagyan namin, gusto namin makatulong kahit na minsan kulang na din ang aming sahod para sa arawaraw naming pangangailangan. Tapos ganito ang makikita at malaman namin? Ang lahat ng pinag-hihirapan namin, pinambibili ng mansyon, kotseng at pinang-gagala lang sa ibang bansa ng mga taong kahit kailan ay hindi naman naghirap para sa perang iyon.

Sabi mo diba na kami ang boss mo, at ito ang pagkakataon natin na magkaroon ng daang matuwin. Kung talagang may paninindigan ka, at totoo ka sa iyong hangarin na tulungan ang bansa, sana maparusahan ang mga taong katulad ni Janet Lim, at siya na rin mismo, kahit sino pa sila. Sana ipakita mo sa amin, kahit sa kahuli-hulihang sentimo kung saan napunta ang buwis namin, wag kang mag-alala madaling gumawa ng oras para tingnan at basahin lahat ng iyon. Kung maari nga, tanggalin mo na ang Pork Barrel sa mga Senador at Kongresista, diba ang trabaho nila ay gumawa ng batas? Bakit hindi na lang doon ang pagtuunan nila ng pansin, at hayaan ang mga lokal na namumuno ang tumulong sa mga nasasakupan nila? Sa dami ng mga batas na dapat nilang baguhin, pagtibayin at gawin wala na silang panahon na hawakan ang ganyang kalaking pondo, o nagtatrabaho nga ba talaga sila? May mga paraan naman siguro para masigurado na ang buwis namin ay napupunta kung saan talaga nararapat. Hindi naman siguro ganoon kahirap ang hiling namin dahil nais lang namin makita ang sinasabi mong tuwid na landas.

Kung kami nga ang boss mo, sana makita namin na pinagsisilbihan mo nga kami at hindi mo pinagtatakpan ang mga tao sa administrasyon mo.

Kami ang nawawalan, kaya sana kami ang mas isipin mo.

Marami ka na nga rin sigurong nagawa na hindi ko pinag-tutuunan ng pansin.
May mga nabago ka nga siguro na magiging maganda sa atin.

Pero hindi ba't mas magana siguro kung masasagot mo din ang tanong ng lahat patungkol sa pork barrel at mapaparusahan talaga ang mga dapat maparusahan?

Hanggang dito na lamang ang liham na ito. Marahil ay hindi mo ito mababasa dahil sa dami ng mga katulad ko na gusto kang kausapin, pero malay natin.

While listening to the whole playlist, I wonder when am I that I didn't know about this and realized that I've been busy listening to foreign songs >.<

I feel so sad at that thought actually because I do love OPM, and I think no one can beat anything that you grew up with, we are all subjective here ^^. I admit that for the past years, I've been hooked by a foreign artist and I am a Korean-pop fangirl but on the contrary half of my playlist is still OPM but non of them are recent. Aside from these songs, the recent one came from Himig Handog which is months ago.

Though I learned about PhilPop this late, I do admire them because they are encouraging us, Filipino's to submit an original composition and let the nation hear it. I think if our music industry will produce these kind of songs, and our radio station will play this (and not those trashy rap that shouldn't be played because they convey wrong messages to the kids), the younger generation will appreciate the OPM music more.

This actually promotes Nationalism ^^

Reasons to watch My Husband's Lover

My best friend and I were having this random conversation about My Husbands Lover of GMA Channel 7 when I decided to post some reason why it is worth it your evening.

1. The story is plain in simple.
Vincent is a closet gay who has an affair with his former flame (Eric) while being married to Lally. There are no other complications that our usual telenovela has, and I do hope that they wouldn't add so many palabok just to extend the story.

2. It depicts reality.
Though our sociaty is more acceptable to the people on third gender, we cannot deny that the social stigma on this issue is still existing. There are still parents who cannot accept that their son, or only son is not the person they wants to have, thus making it hard for the child to admit without feeling so ashame and burdensome and sometimes leads them to hide what they trully are. This thing happen, I know some people who's undetected by the gaydar because they have master the art of pretention, and you wouldn't know it unless they tell you.

3. Everyone is a great actor (Yes, I am talking about Lally, Vincent and Eric).
I don't know who was Tom Rodriguez until I watched this drama, I don't think Karla is a great actress too based from her previous drama's, though I always like Dennis, I also wonder if he can portray his role very well. After watching it, I realized how great they are. Yes, Dennis and Tom convinced me that they are gay, and I really want to give Karla that godd**n water when she was bawling on the hospital.

4. The lines are awesome! (Winner!)
Gay linggo are always funny, witty and so colorful, that is why I do love everytime Eric and his best friend have their conversation, which is full of fairies and rainbows :P

My siblings and I were watching a local program that features various topics, from animals, to food, to social issues etc.
I am not a socially responsible person, nor someone who would go all out on the street to fight for someone's right but I always share my two cents on the topic that caught my attention.

One of the program topic is about a guy who couldn't accept that his little brother because he is gay. As if being gay is a big sin. I came from a catholic family, I do consider myself as a believer of him, but I am not closed minded.

I don't like it that the older brother treat his younger brother as if he was sick. There is nothing wrong for being gay. They are amazing creatures, to be honest they are self-sufficient, funny but more often that not left lonely.

Why people treat the third sex as if they are not the same kind of people that the heterosexual is composed of? They are living things as well, they breathe, they have their own rights and opinion and they have feelings too. Why some people have this set of crazy and inhumane standards? I often wondered why there are peoples who still thinks they are superior because they are not gays, for me they are a bunch of closed minded people who are so unsure of themselves.

I've heard it often, and yes I do agree. Being gay is not a choice, they are born like that, and there is nothing wrong with it.

And if you were asking me what will I feel if a person so close to me suddenly say he's gay, I would be shocked of course (especially if s/he is a good actor), but I would celebrate it because atleast one person finally have the courage to admit in this cruel world who he is, and I would let him feel that atleast one person is happy that he is happy :)

So for those people who will say its a sin, I don't think Papa God is that closed minded as you are :P and you are him to judge if its a sin or not, you could be morally right based on your standards, but they are also human according to the every person's right on each country's constituition so keep your close minded thoughts inside your skull while we are having the greatest time of our life in pink tutu's and ribbons!

Songs I wanted to listen if I walked on the aisle

Most of the girls dreamed to walk the aisle in one day, in white wedding dress holding a beautiful bouquet and looking at the man she decided to take forever with waiting at the end of the aisle in his dashing suit and gorgeous smile.

Her journey to her new life and forever after will be accompanied by the songs they both love or very precious to them, which makes the whole ceremony magical.

I know each one of us have this mental list of what to play when that time come. This is a secret, I never imagined myself in a wedding gown walking down the aisle but I can't help thinking that these songs will be perfect if ever one day (a) I finally realize that I wanted to get married (b) someone help me realize that I wanted the option a, (c) my friends bugs me for wedding songs :)

What is secret of long lasting relationship?

It is another Sunday evening when my best friend and I were discussing random stuff when we came across this topic. She’s in a four year relationship and still going strong, while I on the other hand is the group resident proud single member and advocate the women power J

Our answer is actually connected, she said that both of you should have the same topak or in much understandable term, you should be in the same wave length of understanding. She doesn't mean you think alike, or be in the same kind, but it's more about how you can understand each other’s thought and action.

My answer is simple, it’s all about in the communication.

I think it is connected because most of the time, you cannot communicate well with someone who cannot see your point of view, and misunderstanding often causes of mis-communication. We maybe too young to said this word, and I may be too inexperience but we don’t need much wisdom to understand simple things and we think that relationship is pretty simple, only if you are not to complicated to deal with it.

But this questions have different answers, you, what do you think is the secret?
