I remember hearing this when the pair played Ministry of Sound a couple of weeks ago and Pete Tong had the "first play" of 'Easy' on his Friday night show on BBC Radio 1.

At least in the UK, the release is being handled by Ministry of Sound, although Anjunabeats are releasing it in certain territories as well.

I would embed a rip but Anjunabeats have been taking them down so it's available on the BBC website for the next five days. Tracks starts at exactly 22 minutes in.

Calvin Harris left the best til last on 18 Months

I love the deep house vibes on this track. While I think as an album '18 Months' became a bit too formulaic in the end, 'Thinking About You' really shows what Harris is all about. Ayar Marar's vocals are as subtle as her general billing for the album since she's the only singer on the album who isn't a well known popstar with countless top 10 hits to her name. The production is also quite subtle, with an understated synth lead which for me is what Harris is best at.

I Could Be The One (Nicktim)

What an absolute train-wreck. Having waiting for the best part of a year for the release of this record, it looks like we might finally get it but not after some drastic changes.

Firstly, it was known officially as 'Nicktim' and both Berg and Romero have been playing it in their sets, often with the acapella from Justice's 'D.A.N.C.E.'. Pete Tong played it on his BBC Radio 1 show back in February, with the tracklisting stating it would come out on Laidback Luke's Mixmash label. Then at some point in the past couple of months, vocals were added and 'Nicktim' became 'Stranger'. The vocal mix was premiered on episode 008 of Avicii's Levels podcast which was released Sunday.

Following so far? Good, but there's one last twist. Avicii's management, At Night, got in touch with Beat My Day yesterday to tell them that in fact 'Stranger' was now 'I Could Be The One (Nicktim)'.

All that needs to happen now is for the track to be released. Still no news officially on the label despite the indication of a Mixmash release or a confirmed release date. The wait continues.

Wolfgang Gartner - Love & War (preview)

Wolfgang Gartner, having only yesterday released his 'Casual Encounters of the 3rd Kind' EP, is showcasing more new material.

Youngman will be getting in a bus for his US Love & War tour this September and October and in a trailer video has shared the track of the same name.

He also revealed in an interview with Fuse that was published on Friday that he will be putting out a five track EP, either in September and October, which makes it a safe bet that 'Love & War' will be on it.

Calvin Harris' next single is called 'Sweet Nothing' and features Florence from Florence + the Machine

'We'll Be Coming Back' is only just getting released but Calvin Harris has already announced the next single from his forthcoming album.

'Sweet Nothing' was announced in the latest issue of Q magazine which comes out next week where Harris revealed in an interview that two other artists turned down the chance to record 'We Found Love', which turned into lead single for Rihanna's latest album.

The new single features the haunting vocals of Florence Welch from Florence + the Machine, who are set to have a third week at the summit of the UK Single Chart due to the popularity of Calvin's remix of 'Spectrum (Say My Name)'.

Calvin Harris as yet untitled third studio album, is due to for release on 29th October while 'We'll Be Coming Back' which features Example is out in the UK this Sunday.

Zedd's Spectrum EP set for 31st July release, includes remixes, acoustic version and Nicky Romero collaboration

Zedd today officially announced the release of the EP for his current single, 'Spectrum', which features the vocals of singer/songwriter Matthew Koma. It is set for a release on Tuesday 31st July 2012 on Interscope, with remixes from Armin Van Buuren, A-Trak, Arty, Monsta and Deniz Koyu. Zedd recently posted the remixes from Armin Van Buuren and Arty onto his YouTube channel, included below:

In a rather unpublicised manner, Feed Me provided Annie Nightingale a mix for her show on BBC Radio 1 on Friday night/Saturday morning depending on which way you look at it. What he included were a whole load of unreleased songs, including his current live intro track, 'Little Cat Steps'.

Feed Me is "getting closer" to finishing an album, which presumably will feature many of these tracks. The usual tracklisting, embedded audio and download link are included below.

Example's as-yet-untitled 4th album is to be released 18th November

Example's 4th studio album will be his third in as many years as yesterday he confirmed on Twitter it will be released this year on 18th November.

The follow up to 'Playing in the Shadows' will continue to his current trend to work with dance producers, having recorded with Laidback Luke, Feed Me, Dillion Francis, Kill The Noise, Benga, Tommy Trash and Alvin Risk among others.

Two new solo tracks which Example performed on his recent UK arena tour were 'Where Did The Sun Go?' (produced by Alvin Risk) and 'Come Taste The Rainbow' which are likely to be included on the album. One of Example's forthcoming singles has been remixed by Brighton-based producer Burns.

With all the pieces put together, expect an announcement from Ministry of Sound imminently regarding the first single and the album.

Deadmau5 and Gerard Way's collaboration, Professional Griefers, is set for 2nd September release

It looks like that 'Professional Griefers' will finally see an official release after almost a year-and-a-half wait. After playing a rough vocal version in a set back in August 2011, teasing some re-recorded vocals in December and then shooting a video in LA in May, deadmau5 replied to a Tumblr question indicating that September is when it will be released.

In the week of the release of 'The Veldt EP', it comes as welcome news as deadmau5 has hilariously hit headlines again for stating his opinions on various topics; however it has in fact brought some intelligent debate among the blogosphere despite the backlash from various figures.

On a related note, deadmau5 appeared on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show last Friday evening for his '15 Minutes of Fame' segment where he revealed that his next album is still in the pipeline, with his management recently emailing him a possible tracklisting consisting of 12 songs.

Swedish House Mafia invite Example to open for them at Milton Keynes Bowl, invite accepted

In what looks like to be the final act announced for the show, Swedish House Mafia 'invited' Example to play their event at Milton Keynes Bowl next month this morning through this invitation:

Example (who naturally accepted) is the "special guest" and will open the show from 2pm on Saturday 14th July, followed by, but not necessarily in this order, Calvin Harris, Madeon, Alesso and Pete Tong before the three Swedes take to the stage for their landmark set. At the last count 40,000 tickets had been sold for the event, meaning around 20,000 or so are left so if this addition has convinced you to attend then make your way onto the website of your favourite ticket provider.

Zane Lowe earlier this evening on BBC Radio 1 had the pleasure the first play of Calvin Harris' next single which features none other than Example.

'We'll Be Coming Back' is ~~expected to be released in June~~ released 29th July. Calvin Harris' third studio album (which still doesn't have a name) is pencilled in for release on 23rd July 2012 (obviously not now).

Madeon announces new single 'Finale', set for July release

After taking everyone by storm with debut single 'Icarus' and playing sets in America at Ultra Music Festival, Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival New York, Madeon is preparing for the release of his next single, 'Finale'.

In a Facebook post, he told fans to expect "something different" and will be uploading a video teaser on Thursday, just as he did for 'Icarus'. The track is the second in a series of four which were originally intended for an EP but he decided to split them up, which seems an obvious but clever move to create more buzz about each.

According to the latest edition of NME, the song will be coming out in July, so expect more release details soon.

Knife Party's Rage Valley EP "coming very soon", watch their UKF 3rd birthday set

The end of April has obviously come and gone and yet Knife Party's 'Rage Valley' EP is still nowhere to be seen. Rob and Gareth have been updating everyone on Twitter that it has been delayed slightly, but that delay shouldn't be too long. A press release today confirmed the EP is "coming very soon".

In the meantime, here's the full video stream of Knife Party's set last month at UKF's 3rd birthday celebrations at Proud2, London, which features all four tracks from 'Rage Valley' plus a host of other originals and remixes.
