Happy first anniversary to Claire and James who were married a year
ago today in The Council House in Nottingham followed by a celebration
at The Canalhouse which is situated on the banks of the Nottingham &
Beeston Canal.

Claire and James met for their first date by the Left Lion, (Nottingham
folk will know what that means) so where would be more appropriate
than to choose The Council House as their wedding venue!

Their candlelit wedding features autumn leaves, a pub with a canal running through it;
bangers and mash and treacle toffee wedding favours.

I’ve been a wedding photographer at The Council House – the chief Register
Office in the City of Nottingham which presides over the Old Market Square – many times.
