This week, Now Conspiring saw a double feature and we tell you everything we thought of Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Sam, Maria and Jenny talk about their thoughts on Baby Driver and its incredible style and rich soundtrack. We gushed too much about this movie, but we’d still love to hear your thoughts on it in the comment section.

Later on, Adonis Gonzalez joins us to discuss his favorite superhero. Warning: more gushing happens and a whole lot of hazing.

Things become a little confusing and upsetting when we discuss the upcoming sequel to Jumanji. With the latest trailer released, we rant about the changes and wonder how many more sequels will ruin our childhoods.

This week we get together to discuss some classic movies we have been meaning to watch for a long time. Sam gives his opinion of Casablanca, Maria crossed off Psycho from her list and Bridget finally saw Pulp Fiction. Some were impressed by these films. Some were not. Can you guess who?
We also bring back a shorter version of Bridget’s Science corner, where Bridget discusses six new science facts discovered this year.

By the end we were faced with the most difficult Kiss Marry Kill ever. Friendships ended as consequence.

Guess the Disney Song! - Now Conspiring

We have a full house on this week’s episode. RAK (aka Khan) and Jenny Pan join the podcast along with Maria’s best friend, Evie. After lengthy introductions and many fun tangents, we go around the table to talk about what we have read or watched in the past few weeks. This is quickly followed by Evie saying very embarrassing things about Maria that can never be unheard.

Later on, we play Guess the Disney Song! Where Jenny is overconfident, Sam is confused by everyone’s hardwired knowledge of Disney and a lot of yelling from everybody involved.

When we can’t decide what to talk about, we end up talking about everything. In this week’s episode we are joined by the lovely Jenny Pan to talk about the latest movie trailers and to question the violence rate in Pulp Fiction (Sam doesn’t think it’s that violent. Shocker).

We also review the latest Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why, and the new live action manga adaptation, Ghost in the Shell. But it doesn’t stop there. Jenny expresses some delayed frustrations about the live action Beauty and the Beast and it snowballs into a full on rant.

What's New on Netflix?
