The video has over 1.5 million views on Youtube, and it’s no wonder why. Unsuspecting wedding guests wait for the wedding party to enter, presumably to something traditional like “Pachelbel’s Canon,” when suddenly “Forever” starts booming from the church speakers and the wedding party turns the walk down the aisle into a dance party.

You may wonder how they’ll keep your attention for the 5 minutes that the song runs, but don’t fret. It’s worth watching every second, especially as the bride and groom appear and finally make their way to the alter.

I must admit, I (we) did not create a wedding budget. Our basic philosophy since we got engaged has been to pretty much get married and honeymoon as cheaply as possible in the most affordable way.

So when we booked our photographer last month it wasn’t just because they’ll do a great job, which they will, but because by doing so we were able to secure a 50% discount on our package. And when I started piecing my wedding wardrobe together yesterday by purchasing a fancy new pair of wingtips, it wasn’t because I have an affinity for dress shoes — I wear a beat-up pair of New Balances nearly every single day — it was because I was able to get them ($168 retail) for $70 off.

It’s all about looking good while acting cheap. –Timothy R. Schulte
