Qualification & experience :

Junior Engineer (Telecom) : First class diploma in telecommunication/electronics engineering with 2 years experience in the concerned field.

(ii) A typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English OR 25 w.p.m. in Hindi

(iv) After appointment Candidates will be compulsorily required to learn bilingual typing in both Hindi and English with speed of 25/30 wpm in Hindi and English, respectively.

Perfusionist : (i) B.Sc. Degree in Medical Perfusion from a recognized Institute/University OR

Degree from a recognized University with certificate in Perfusion Technology (awarded by a recognized Institution/ Association/ Authority (such as Association of Thoracic and Cardio Vascular Surgeons of India) after minimum 01 year training in a center with CVTS Services. AND 01 year experience in clinical perfusion.
Technician (Radiology) : A. (i) 10 + 2 with Science subjects or equivalent from a recognized Board / University.
(ii) Diploma (2 years course) in Radiography Techniques from a recognized Institution.
(iii) 1 year experience as Radiographer. OR
B. B.Sc. (Hons.) (3 years course) in Radiography from a recognized University / Institution
Medical Lab Technologist : Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Science from a Govt. recognized university/ institution with two years relevant experience in a Laboratory attached with a hospital having minimum 100 beds.
Technician (Radiotherapy) : 1. 10+2 with Science subjects or equivalent from a recog. Board/ University.
2. Diploma (2 yrs. course) in Radiotherapy Techniques from a recog. Institution.

Sanitary Inspector Gr.I : 1. Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.

(ii) Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council, and (iii) one year experience in minimum fifty bedded registered hospital after acquiring the educational qualifications mentioned above. OR II (i) Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Board or Council. (ii) Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council. (iii) Two years of experience in minimum fifty bedded registered hospital after acquiring the educational qualifications mentioned at II (i) above. Age Limit: 30 years

General Instructions to the Candidates

1. Online mode of submission of application form shall be essential followed by submission of downloaded hard copy with all enclosures. 2. Applicants shall first register on the Recruitment & Assessment Cell portal on the BHU website, after which, they can fill up the prescribed electronic application form online. 3. Separate applications shall be submitted for different positions. 4. Digital passport size photograph and signature in JPEG format not exceeding 50 kb each in file size will be required for uploading while filling the online application. 5. Incomplete applications will not be considered and will be REJECTED. 6. While filling the online application, if the browser closes unexpectedly or if the candidate is logged out, the login information sent to the email to login again may be used. 7. In case of any technical problems faced while filling online application, please send an email to recruitment@bhu.ac.in . 8. There are several tabs in the application. After filling all tabs, the candidate can finally submit his/her application. Please note that no change can be made after final submission of application form. So before submission please ensure that all the entries made in the online application form are correct. 9. After successful submission, the candidates will be directed to the payment gateway for online payment of application fee, if applicable. 10. For drawing equivalence of pay level for applicants from institutions other than Govt. organizations, the gross monthly emoluments drawn by the applicant should not be less than the initial basic salary of concerned pay level. 11. Shortlisting criteria for the posts of Deputy Librarian and Assistant Librarian is attached as Annexure-I. 12. For Group ‘A’ positions, the University may conduct a written test for short-listing of candidates. Further 5 interaction/presentation may also be conducted, if required, for further short-listing. The candidates finally short-listed will be called for interview. 13. For Group ‘B’ positions, the University shall conduct a written test. Further, Skill test shall also be conducted for the candidates short-listed from the written test. 14. For the post of Nursing Officer (Male) only male candidate who fulfills the eligibility criteria may apply, similarly for the post of Nursing Officer (Female) only female candidate who fulfills the eligibility criteria may apply. However, in case of transgender candidates. They may apply against any of the post. 15. Short listed candidates for each post will be called for verification of the original documents. 16. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for the interview. 17. The University may verify the antecedents or documents submitted by a candidate at any time of appointment or during the tenure of the service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidate are found fake or the candidate has furnished any false information or has suppressed any information, then his/her service shall be terminated. 18. The University reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason. Any consequential vacancy arising at the time of selection may also be filled up from the available candidates. The University may, at its discretion, fill up any future vacancy out of available candidates. The number of posts is thus open to change. The University may also draw a panel out of the available candidates to fill up any future vacancy during the validity of the panel. The University may relax/review the qualification/ experience and age limit at its discretion at any stage in case of candidates with exceptional merit. 19. All the positions advertised may be filled through direct recruitment or through deputation at sole discretion of the University. In case of appointment on deputation basis, standard terms & condition of deputation of Government of India will be applied. 20. The application for appointment on deputation shall be forwarded by the employer along with the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs)/ACR for the preceding five years and Vigilance Clearance Certificate, duly certified by the Competent Authority. 21. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate. 22. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the University shall be final. 23. Applicants who are in employment should route their application through proper channel or should submit a "No Objection Certificate" from the employer prior to the interview/selection process, failing which they may not be considered further. 24. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. 25. No interim correspondence shall be entertained. 26. If a suitable candidate in the advertised category of specially-abled person is not available, then the post may be filled with other identified categories of specially-abled candidates available to the extent of the required number of their reserved posts. 27. Age relaxation and Concession:(i) Reservation, relaxations and concessions for SC/ST/OBC/PwBDs candidates will be applicable in accordance with reservation policy of the Govt. of India.(ii) Period spent on working against any post in the project/scheme or on contract/daily wage basis in BHU including broken period of service rendered as indicated above may also be taken into account for the purpose of age relaxation for appointment to the posts in Group-A & Group ‘B’ in regular establishment provided that one stretch of such service is for more than six months. (iii) No age bar for permanent employees of the BHU for Group-B posts only. (iv) Age relaxation to Ex-Servicemen shall be applicable as per GoI rules. 28. Subject: - Amendments in the Recruitment Regulations for the posts of Nursing Officer, Senior Nursing Officer, Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Nursing Superintendent and Chief Nursing Officer in the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation

In compliance of Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India OM No. AB-14017/61/2008-Estt. (RR) dated 13.10.2015, it is informed to all concerned that there is a proposal for amendments in the Recruitment Regulations for the posts of Nursing Officer, Senior Nursing Officer, Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Nursing Superintendent and Chief Nursing Officer in the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. Proposed drafts of Recruitment Regulations (ANNEXURE-I) of the posts are put up herewith on the official website of ESI Corporation i.e. www.esic.gov.in for seeking comments of all the stakeholders. Copies of the existing recruitment regulations of the posts are also annexed at (ANNEXURE-II), (ANNEXURE-III) and (ANNEXURE-IV) respectively. No. A-12011/19/2023-MED-VI In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sec on (1) of sec on 97, read with clause (xxi) of sub-sec on (2) and sub-sec on (2A) of the said sec on and sub-sec on (3) of sec on 17 of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948) and in supersession of four Recruitment Regula ons namely (i) the Employees’ State Insurance Corpora on (Nursing Officer, Senior Nursing Officer, Assistant Nursing Superintendent) Recruitment Regula ons, 2020, (ii) Employees’ State Insurance Corpora on (Deputy Nursing Superintendent) Recruitment Regula ons, 1996, (iii) Employees’ State Insurance Corpora on (Nursing Superintendent) Recruitment Regula ons, 1977 and (iv) Employees’ State Insurance Corpora on (Chief Nursing Officer) Recruitment Regula ons, 2005, except as respects things done or omi2ed to be done before such supersession, the Employees’ State Insurance Corpora on hereby makes the following regula ons regula ng the method of recruitment to the Nursing Cadre posts in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, namely:

1. Short title and commencement. ― (1) These regulations may be called the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (Nursing Cadre Posts) Recruitment Regulations, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Number of posts, classification, level in pay matrix or pay scale. ― The number of posts, their classification, level in the pay matrix or pay scale attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these regulations. 3. Method of recruitment, age- limit, qualifications, etc. ― The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule. 4. Disqualification. ― No person, ― (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having spouse living; or (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post: Provided that the Chairman of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and to the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this regulation. 5. Power to relax. ― Where the Director General of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so, he may, with the approval of the Chairman of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, after taking prior approval of the Central Government, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these regulations, with respect to any class or category of persons. 6. Savings. ― Nothing in these regulations shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time, in this regard.

A Postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD or MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto Or M.H.A. (Masters in Hospital Administration) or a Post Graduate Degree recognized as equivalent to M.H.A. by the Medical Council of India.
Experience: Ten years' experience in Hospital Administration in Hospitals after obtaining the P.G. Degree in a senior position, preferably in hospitals with 300 beds.
Nursing Superintendent : Officers of the State/Central Government of Statutory/Autonomous Bodies holding analogous posts. (Or) Deputy/Assistant Nursing Superintendent with 5 years of regular service in the Grade pay of Rs.5400/-

How to manage a patient with seizure being a Nurse

Being a Nurse Managing a patient with seizures involves several key steps to ensure their safety and proper care. Here's a general guide on managing a patient experiencing a seizure anywhere in the street, Bus, Temple, Hospital, Home etc:

Ensure Safety:

First and foremost, focus on keeping the person safe during the seizure. Clear the area of any sharp or hard objects that could cause injury. If the person is in a hazardous location (like near a road or water), carefully move them to a safer place if possible, without restraining them.

Stay Calm and Reassure:

As you are a Nurse, you know how to Stay calm to help reassure the person having the seizure. Speak calmly and gently to let them know that they are safe and not alone.

Loosen Tight Clothing:

If the person has tight clothing around their neck, loosen it to facilitate breathing.

Time the Seizure:

Note the time the seizure begins and how long it lasts. If the seizure lasts longer than five minutes or if it's the person's first seizure, being a Nurse call for emergency medical help immediately.

Protect the Head of the patient:

If the patient is on the ground, gently place something soft under their head to prevent injury. Avoid restraining their movements unless they are in danger of harming themselves.

Positioning:

Turn the person onto their side if possible to help keep their airway clear. This can also help prevent choking if there is saliva or vomit.

Do Not Restrain or Put Objects in Mouth:

Do not try to hold the person down or put anything in their mouth during a seizure. Contrary to popular belief, putting something in their mouth can cause injury to their teeth or airway.

Stay with the Person:

Stay with the person until the seizure ends naturally. After the seizure, stay with them and offer comfort and support as they regain consciousness.

Check for Medical Identification:

Look for any medical identification (bracelet, necklace, Chain,) that might provide information about the person's condition or emergency contact details.

Seek Medical Attention:

After the seizure, if it's the person's first seizure, if the seizure lasts longer than five minutes, or if the person is injured, seek immediate medical attention.

Follow-Up Care:

Ensure the person receives appropriate medical care and follow any instructions given by healthcare professionals for ongoing management or treatment of seizures. If you dont know about the person Just help him to Contact the family members

In Some states like Karnataka The Nurses were selected for the post of Staff Nurse/ Nursing officer on the basis of Marks Secured in GNM/ B.Sc Nursing Examination.

Earlier Before 2017 The Selection for the post of Government Staff Nurse to work in PHC's/ CHC's and District hospitals were carried out on the basis of Marks secured in the GNM/B.Sc Nursing and Marks of SSLC Examination. This was caused many candidates not to get selected for the post of Staff Nurse Because they might not have good score in SSLC/ Metric Exam.

Now the selection for some Government Hospitals/ Jayadeva Hospital like institutions are carried out on the basis of written/ CBT Examination Marks.
