Druid challenge mode gear. I think there’s a graphical error in the file for the green one. Can we say shiney gold abs? Anyway not liking this quite as much as I did Tier 13 for druids.

Again I think my favorite here is the Blue set. The shoulders appear to have the heads of femurs on them. Overall I liked them.

Mail sets

These are listed as reputation sets for some reason.

My favorite is the red coloration.

The yellow one looks really nice as well. No idea yet which will be the Int mail and which will be the Agi mail.

Plate sets

I’ve got one plate wearer at 85 & another at 82. For Set 1 I’m really liking the gold look, very bright & shiney. Not sure that it will work for my DK, but possibly awesome on my paladin. But overall I enjoy this set.

Set 2 I’m still deciding on. Much more sinister looking.

I enjoy the green & red, but the purple looks like it works very well for a DK.

So I’m not in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandera Beta yet, but I’ve been keeping up with the armor sets that have been coming out. I must say I’m enjoying several aspects of the designs of the new sets.

Cloth sets

I love the helm with this set. Very simple yet works incredibly well with the theme. My first love was the White one.

But then I fell for the red one.

But then again the Blue one is growing on me.

Leather sets

The one is my main & my main alt’s concern (rogue + boomkin/resto druid) so I have much love & interest in these sets.

Leather 1 to me comes across as very blah. It does have a stylized Shogun Helm, but then again I’m not a big fan of that. I really disliked the Light set & also didn’t care for the Red set. However the Brown & Dark were the least offensive to my personal style & there’s very little difference here between sets so I’m just posting screenshots of the ones I liked best.

Leather set 2 was the one I was really looking forward to.

It’s got an interesting look with the single shoulder plate.

The helm I don’t really care for but it will be hidden for Book.

The hardest part may be choosing a color to wear. I want it all!

But I must say that I adore the Indigo.

Some of the new visuals from Mists of Pandera beta.

I might use Glyph of Stars instead of Moonkin form. I’ve liked the gameplay of moonkin, but always hated being a huge bird.
Glyph of the Stag so you can use it to carry someone else. Fun.
Glyph of the Orca… Yay better looking aquatic form…. Oh the choices I’m going to have to make with my druid.
Hurricane is looking wicked.
Faerie Swarm is looking wicked, however I’m not feral.
Glyph of the Treant. Trees get to be trees again.
You’re going to need sunglasses for Divine Shield’s animation.

Hmmm. Inscription will be able to make staffs & off hand items.

Alchemy: will be able to make Potion of Plunder to allow you to get more treasure when killing mobs. Also looks like 2 quest items will be available for the profession. Got you standard Alchemist’s potion that doesn’t disappear. Not seeing the Alchemy trinket yet.

Cooking: Many fun looking recipes including the prerequisite Pandaren Banquet.

Engineering: Cogwheels are back! Also updated helms. Scopes since there aren’t hunter staff enchants and a few guns. Also the prerequisite Engi trinket.

Mining: new ore, Ghost Iron, Manticyte, Trilliam

Cloth: Windwool

Elementals: Spirit of Autumn, Spirit of Spring, Spirit of Summer, Spirit of Winter, Spirit of the Season, Spirit of Harmony

Skinning: Tanji Leather & Magnificent Hide

Enchanting: Etheral Shard (Blue), Greater Mysterious Essence, Sha Crystal, Spirit Dust. Looks like just step ups from the enchants you see today.

Guild Perks: I’m not liking loosing “Have Group, Will Travel,” but I understand why they did it. They have one to reduce Transmog & Void Storage costs. I’m liking the thought of a flight point speed increase. Really liking the Time Off thought though I’m not sure if you gain rested XP faster or if it’s you get more of it. Increased chance of profession skill gain (yay!)

Darkmoon Faire: new pet & an achievement to slay the rabbit. Interesting…

Gear from Heroics is iLevel 463, Normal dungeons are 425-450. Quest rewards 372-429

Mounts: a Kite String…. Very Interesting….

This got me thinking…. what would I like to see added/changed in future expansions. I’m not a super rich player. I honestly might have 30k gold.

I really like the buy orders idea. Granted I could see how many idiots would list wanting to buy 1000 Inferno Rubies at 5gold each (They currently run about 300gold each on my server’s AH). But if I see someone’s wanting 20 Twilight Jasmine at a decent price I might be tempted to dust off my Herbalists & go farm some up.
Buy orders could also be great for those green items for Transmog sets while browsing through blogs I see random item X that is a green random world drop from level 50-60 mobs. Great, either I can go farm like mad on low level mobs or watch the AH like a hawk hoping some clothie didn’t DE my pretty green leather item into dust. I could post a 100 gold bounty on a buy order & hope random clothie or plate wearer sees my buy request for pretty green leather transmog item & is more tempted to fill my buy order rather than turn it into dust.
Mounts as a gold sink. While this is in the game already as the Chopper & Vial of the Sands (I’m still thanking my Secret Santa for that one) & the mammoth mount with a vendor (I’m still too cheap to go buy that one), I’m thinking the really nice one would be a carriage. See Gilneas starting zone, you could put 5 players on a carriage & bring your whole party along.
Bank space as a gold sink. Granted there’s void storage, but seriously more bank space is something I could try to create gold for.

I like the idea of keeping a base armor & just upgrading the stat slots. However this armor isn’t modifiable, but I loved the look of it.

Been playing around with Star Wars: The Old Republic. So I thought I’d share a few impressions.

I like how smooth the questing is with the dialogue options.
Story has been interesting to me which is good.
I’m leaving off the option for Lightside/Darkside points & just picking the option I feel like. I’ll probably be neutral, but I’m okay with that.
I’m mostly playing with a friend so it seems like I’ll have a ton of social points.

Tried this. It’s a farmville esque building clone game that wants to to spend real money for virtual goods. Overall I didn’t like it.
