A causa da doença não é bem esclarecida, mas ela parece estar intimamente ligada ao alto consumo de alimentos calóricos e ricos em gordura. A doença hepática crônica, como a esteatose, resulta em importante impacto nutricional já que o fígado é responsável por inúmeras vias bioquímicas na produção, modificação e utilização de carboidratos, lipídios, proteínas e alguns micronutrientes. Se não for controlada, a degeneração do tecido hepático pode evoluir até a cirrose, em que há perda significativa da função hepática.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify" class="txtconteudo" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

A editora da publicação, Franca Sozzani, é conhecida por fazer campanha contra esses sites e por apoiar associações de combate aos distúrbios alimentares. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

O objetivo é ser lindo, magro e perfeito. Esta busca pela perfeição pode tornar-se uma obsessão, podendo levar a distorções da imagem corporal, gerando transtornos psíquicos, físicos, sociais e alimentares.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Curiosamente, muitas pessoas acham que podem explicar a diferença, mas não sabem. E você? Pense em algumas ocasiões passadas, quando você comeu bem, talvez em algum restaurante ou celebração em família. Imagino que você já tenha tido pensamentos como: Eu ainda estou com fome. Acho que vou repetir. Estou com fome de doce. Se isso já aconteceu, você confundiu fome e vontade de comer. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;MONITORANDO SUA FOME&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Como você sabe que está com fome de verdade? Pense em três situações recentes nas quais tenha ocorrido o seguinte: &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Você ficou sem comer por muito tempo (por mais de 4 horas) e se sentiu bastante faminto. Aquela sensação de vazio, freqüentemente acompanhada de ruídos no estômago, era fome.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Você comeu uma boa refeição e ainda quer comer mais. Isso era vontade.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Você sentiu uma urgência muito forte de comer, que veio acompanhada de tensão e de uma desagradável sensação na boca, garganta e corpo. Isso era desejo.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A maioria das pessoas que faz dieta para emagrecer tem dificuldade em distinguir a fome verdadeira da vontade e do desejo incontrolável de comer.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Para aprender a diferenciar melhor essas sensações, escolha um dia para observar o que você sente antes, durante e depois de comer.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Antes de se sentar para fazer cada refeição ou lanche, observe as sensações em seu estômago.&lt;br /&gt;

· É nove vezes mais freqüente em mulheres do que em homens. Na equipe, normalmente, essa proporção é de 12:1 &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
· normalmente inicia-se na adolescência, com um pensamento fixo: estou gordo(a). Em pouco tempo a vida se resume a fazer dietas, em como burlar as refeições, tristeza e isolamento social. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
· Perturbação na forma de vivenciar o peso ou a forma do corpo, ou negação do baixo peso corporal atual;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A anorexia pode ser do &lt;b&gt;tipo &lt;b&gt;Restritivo&lt;/b&gt; &lt;/b&gt;(comem muito pouco ou não come nada) ou do &lt;b&gt;tipo Purgativo&lt;/b&gt; (além de comer pouco, quando comem, vomitam). &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Os ácidos graxos ômega-3, encontrados em alguns tipos de peixes,&amp;nbsp;têm demonstrado benefícios em várias áreas da saúde e nutrição, tais como contribuir para a prevenção de doenças mentais e retardar algumas das deficiências associadas com o envelhecimento. Comer atum, sardinha, salmão e outros peixes de água fria parece proteger as pessoas contra as artérias obstruídas. Os ácidos graxos ômega-3 podem também baixar os níveis de triglicerídeos, um tipo de gordura frequentemente encontrado na corrente sanguínea. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Agora, uma equipe de investigação liderada por Richard J. Deckelbaum, diretor do Instituto de Colômbia (USA) para a nutrição Humana, constatou que uma alimentação rica em óleo de peixe pode impedir a acumulação de gordura na aorta, a principal artéria que sai do coração. As ações benéficas do óleo de peixe que bloqueia o colesterol acumulado nas artérias são ainda encontradas em alta ingestão de gordura. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;O estudo foi realizado em três populações separadas de ratos: uma população foi alimentada com uma dieta equilibrada, outra foi alimentada com uma dieta semelhante à “dieta ocidental" rica em gorduras saturadas, e a terceira população que foi alimentada com uma dieta rica em ácidos graxos ômega -3. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Investigadores do Laboratório Dr. Deckelbaum, incluindo Chuchun Liz Chang, um Doutor que estuda ciências nutricionais e biologia metabólica, descobriram que os ácidos graxos contidos no óleo de peixe inibem nitidamente a entrada de colesterol "mau", ou LDL, nas artérias.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Descobriram que este fato está relacionado com a capacidade desses ácidos graxos diminuírem acentuadamente a lipoproteína lipase, uma molécula que retém o LDL na parede arterial. Esta descoberta provavelmente irá revelar-se muito importante como um novo mecanismo que ajuda a explicar os benefícios dos ácidos graxos ômega-3 sobre a saúde cardíaca.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Apesar da morte ter acontecido no final do mês passado, a notícia só se tornou pública na Europa nesta quinta-feira.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;As causas da morte não foram reveladas, mas Isabelle tinha a saúde debilitada pela anorexia há muitos anos. Em 2007, ela havia posado para o italiano Oliviero Toscani, nua, em estado semi-cadavérico, sob o slogan “Não à anorexia”. Na época, a modelo de 1,62 metro de altura, alegou ter perdido 30,8 quilos. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Ela sofria da doença desde os 13 anos. Segundo sua tutora de longa data, Daniele Dubreuil-Prevot, disse à imprensa britânica, a enfermidade veio em consequência de uma infância difícil.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

:: Procure diminuir quantidade de comida ao invés de só substituir por lights e diets. Estes produtos também contêm calorias. &lt;br /&gt;

:: Alimentos naturais são geralmente mais baratos que os industrializados e também são mais saudáveis. &lt;br /&gt;
