Sweets: I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend.  Mom and I sure did! 

Louise: I’m not annoying!  But you’re still cute!

Sweets: Cute?  Hmph!  Studly is more like it.

Louise: Studly?  I don’t know about that???  U R 2 cute to be studly.

Sweets: Accept the truth!  S-T-U-D-L-Y!!!!

In this video you’ll hear Maggie (Schnoodle-creamy coloured dog) squeal her ass off.  I must mention that she is NOT hurt or in any pain.  This is just the way she greets visitors.  She gets extremely excited and squeals as though someone is standing on her paw or something.  This is her excited and I-can’t-believe-YOU-are-here squeal.

These are the puppies that were born after their mommy, Tashi, gave birth to them 12 days after being rescued from a puppy mill.  Just so you know, watching these little guys can be verrrry addictive.

The current show is a puppymill rescue Shih Tzu named Tashi and her 5 puppies, who were born 7/29/10 – twelve days after she arrived. Puppy #1, Kung – dark grey and white head, mostly white body, grey on rump. Boy.<br /> Puppy #2, Shang – black and white, spots on back run into two patches. Boy.<br /> Puppy #3, Chiao – black and white, 3 spots on back. Very small at birth. Girl.<br /> Puppy #4, Chih – gold and white, looks brown and white on camera. Teardrop on head. Boy. Puppy #5 Yu Li – brindle and white, largest at birth. Girl. The Shih Tzu breed originated in China. Most eastern music, including that of China, is based on a pentatonic scale. (Penta = five, tonic = tones.) The names of the notes in the pentatonic scale are Kung, Shang, Chiao, Chi, and Yu. You can hear the notes if you have access to a piano – play all 5 black keys in a row, starting with the group of three. Or you can sing them – the tones correspond to Do, Re, Mi, Sol, and La. I’ve read online that some people are trying to figure out how to calm down a hyper Shih Poo!!!  Sweets has never been that active, per se.  Even as a puppy he was very laid back.  As I type this he is back to laying on the same couch (as in the video) except on the opposite pillow.  Certain words or phrases give a little burst of excitement, but generally he pretty much lays around.  AND, he’s only 6 (just turned).  I can’t even imagine what he will be like at 12.  He’ll probably be comatosed or something.

It doesn’t bother me one bit though.  I still love him and his fuzzy butt to pieces.

P.S.  Look at the look in his eyes.  He Hates The Camera That Much!  Could he be any more enthused?  Poor Sweets, poor tortured Sweets.
