Here's a Christmas card idea, inspired by another Stampin' Up! demonstrator, that is elegant and beautiful! I just received the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder and so used it, along with the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder to create the card:

Stamp Set: Christmas Punch (hostess stamp set)

Card stock: Real Red (4 ¼ x 11", 5 ½ x 4 ¼"), Whisper White (4 x 5 ¼", scraps)

Ink: Real Red Classic pad and marker

Fresh Cuts Photo Wallet

Here's a fun project to create that's also quick and easy. It's a photo wallet - guaranteed to WOW your friends and family. My Anything but a Card Club met last night and created this project.

Here's the outside of the wallet:

I kept the bottom flap closed so you could see where the photos would be placed on each flap inside the wallet. You can also add photos to other parts if desired.

Here's a list of the ingredients in case you want to make one for a gift:

Photo Wallet

Stamp set: Fresh Cuts

Card stock: Basic Gray (4 ¼ x 11”, scraps), Rose Red (8 x 1 ½”, 8 x 2 1/5”, scraps), Whisper White (9 pieces 3 ¾ x 2 ¼” and scraps)

Ink: Versamark, Basic Gray, Rose Red

Accessories: Large Oval punch, Scallop Oval punch, Photo Corners punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Score Basic Gray card stock at 1 ½”, 2”, 5” and 8”.

I have made a few of these wallets for different purposes and changed the colors and stamp sets used. I have also made the wallet using designer series paper and loved that look too! Dazzling Ornaments

I just LOVE ornament cards. Believe it or not, the card above was created from the stamp set called Pumpkin Patch. It can be used for so much more than Pumpkins! The sparkle and dazzle (hard to see in the photo) are easily added with our 2-way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Leadership and Stampin' Up!

I am having such a great day today ! This morning I registered for Stampin' Up!s Leadership conference which takes place in January of each year. This conference is just one way Stampin' Up! supports demonstrators who have developed a team and need some leadership training to help each and every member, from hobby demos to business builders. I have attended Leadership for the past four years and learned so many creative new ideas for both the business side and the creative side of being a demonstrator.

Last year the conference was in Orlando, Florida and if that wasn't fun enough, Stampin' Up! rented Universal Studio's Island of Adventure theme park just for us to play the night away - free rides, free caricature drawings, buffets along the streets and a band for dancing. This year, the conference is in Phoenix, Arizona and it is still a secret what our special evening event will be. Here are some clues:

A Little Birdie Told Me

Tonight after I completed two project ideas for my Anything but a Card Club this Friday, I just sat and messed around with My Digital Studio. I had seen a card map challenge on a Stampin' Up! demonstrator only group and the map appealed to me. Here it is:

I have spent a lot of time designing and creating Christmas cards in the past few weeks so tonight I deliberately decided to play with A Little Birdie Told Me and some designer series paper. My Digital Studio is so quick and easy to play with; I love the design aspect to the program.

My Digital Studio

I am excited to share with you that I am officially certified through Stampin' Up! to teach you all about My Digital Studio! I have taken several online video trainings and a test following each training to learn about the different aspects of this fabulous program. And each day I see a new possibility to help make your crafting and gift making so much easier. One of the requirements of my training program was to submit a card for publication and my card arrived just a few days after I submitted it to our printing company. I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the card and the colors of the ink. Even my son, who is my resident art critic, fingered the card and was surprised to see that the images were not stamped, they were printed. "Cool!" were his exact words.

There are so many stamp sets, punches, accessories and embellishments to choose from in this program that I had the hardest time designing my layout - I was like a kid in a candy shop! There are several different sizes of cards too but I decided for now to create the most common size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4".

Here's the card I created and printed. Because I had it printed on white card stock and the background of my blog is also white, you are going to have to imagine the card shape below:

I also added two flowers in the inside of the front of the card and a word image on the inside left.

Sundays with Sizzix – Lattice Card

Stampin' Up!s BIGZ Lattice die makes such beautiful cards and this is one die that should be on everyone's wish list for Christmas! One of my team members bought this die recently and loaned it to me to play with this weekend. And of course I had to share it with you too.

Lattice Card

Stamp Set: Short & Sweet #115160

Card stock: Whisper White (4 ¼ x 5 ½), Bashful Blue (4" square and scraps), Night of Navy (4" square)

Marker: Night of Navy

Accessories: Big Shot, BIGZ Lattice Die #115958, standard cutting plates, 2-Way Glue pen, Snail Adhesive, Word Window Punch, Soft Subtle brads

As I mention in my video tutorial, you can use the left-over pieces to make additional cards. Here's a bonus card idea - I added a 4 x 4" piece of Whisper White under the Night of Navy piece to make the Lattice "pop".

Nursery Necessities Card

Yes, this is quite the change from my usual Holiday or Halloween projects but I had a baby shower to attend this past week and wanted to share my card with you. The card was created using Nursery Necessities, the cutest baby stamp set EVER! You won't be able to see it in the photo but I added dots of the 2-way Glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the stars and on the boat flag to add a wow factor.

Card stock: Pretty in Pink, Perfect Plum, Whisper White

Ink: Pretty in Pink and Perfect Plum marker, Perfect Plum Classic ink pad

Accessories: Pretty in Pink striped ribbon, Scallop edge punch, Mini glue dots, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, 2-way Glue pen

This layout can easily be switched up with Night of Navy and Bashful Blue, along with Bashful Blue striped ribbon to create a baby boy card.
