<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>Tonight my Raleigh<strong><span style="color: #00bfbf;"> Techniques Club</span></strong> meets and this month's hostess, Kristin, requested that the club members use<strong><em> Mixed Bunch</em></strong> on one of the cards. I love this stamp set and coordinating <em>Blossom</em> Punch so created this card:</p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<div class="photo-wrap photo-xid-6a00e54facd5738833016762108487970b photo-full " id="photo-xid-6a00e54facd5738833016762108487970b" style="display: inline-block; width: 300px;"><a href="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd5738833016762108487970b-pi"><img alt="MixedBunch" border="0" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54facd5738833016762108487970b" src="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd5738833016762108487970b-800wi" title="MixedBunch" /></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p>Can you see how I used the <em>Adorning Accents Edgelit</em> and <em>Adorning Accents Embossing folder</em> too? This card uses a lot of products to create eye-catching elements. The result is guaranteed to delight.</p>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>Today I have a really fun video for you to watch. Stampin' Up! had a <em><strong>Stamp Space Makeover</strong></em> Contest for their demonstrators last year. At Convention this past summer Shelli Gardner, CEO and co-founder of Stampin' Up! announced the winner. She and her family recently traveled to the winner's home in Austin, Texas to makeover her stamping space and they video taped the experience!</p>
<p>Here's what they did:</p>
<p>
<object height="315" width="560">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_xE8iv_PJrQ?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0" />
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
<param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><embed allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/_xE8iv_PJrQ?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" />
</object>
</p>
<p>Take good notes and then have a look at your own stamping space. With just a little effort you, too, can end up with a beautiful, inviting and productive space.</p></div>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>The other day I saw a <em>Card Map</em> on a demonstrator art gallery and decided to give it a try. At first the map seemed quite simple:</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="photo-wrap photo-xid-6a00e54facd5738833016761d64e73970b photo-full " id="photo-xid-6a00e54facd5738833016761d64e73970b" style="display: inline-block; width: 116px;"><a href="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd5738833016761d64e73970b-pi"><img alt="Sketch122-001" border="0" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54facd5738833016761d64e73970b" src="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd5738833016761d64e73970b-800wi" title="Sketch122-001" /></a></div>
<p><br />But once I decided to use Calypso Coral as the card base and a piece of <strong><em>Sweet Shop</em></strong> designer series paper as the main layer, my plans became muddled. The Sweet Shop paper has quite a vivid pattern so I decided to keep the top layers simple. And then I got stuck. The top layer seemed so plain but it only took a few seconds until I decided that adding a <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Calypso Coral ribbon</span> (using FREE ribbon through Sale-a-bration!) would be the perfect, final touch.</p>
<p>Here's my final product:</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="photo-wrap photo-xid-6a00e54facd57388330168e6f230f6970c photo-full " id="photo-xid-6a00e54facd57388330168e6f230f6970c" style="display: inline-block; width: 300px;"><a href="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd57388330168e6f230f6970c-pi"><img alt="SweetShopBirthday" border="0" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54facd57388330168e6f230f6970c" src="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd57388330168e6f230f6970c-800wi" title="SweetShopBirthday" /></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p>Do you have designer series paper at home that also has a large or bright pattern? Try my map to see what you can create.</p>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>I am excited for my<strong><em> Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack</em></strong> today. I had fun planning the projects everyone is going to make. Classes give me a chance to offer something different and to use some stamp sets I haven't used yet or in a long while.</p>
<p>Here's a sneak peek at one of the cards my class attendees will make today. I used <em>Twitterpated designer series paper</em> and the brand new (and FREE with a $50 product order) <em>Outlined Occasions</em> stamp set. </p>
<p>
<div class="photo-wrap photo-xid-6a00e54facd57388330168e6a7cbbf970c photo-full " id="photo-xid-6a00e54facd57388330168e6a7cbbf970c" style="display: inline-block; width: 300px;"><a href="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd57388330168e6a7cbbf970c-pi"><img alt="OutlinedExpressions" border="0" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54facd57388330168e6a7cbbf970c" src="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd57388330168e6a7cbbf970c-800wi" title="OutlinedExpressions" /></a></div>
<br /><br /></p>
<p> Can you figure out how I made the "faux" bow for each present? Too cute, huh!</p>
<p>Keep an eye on my<a href="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/my_weblog/calendar-of-events.html" target="_blank" title="Stampin' Up! Classes"> Calendar of Events</a> for upcoming classes. I design my classes for busy stampers who prefer to have everything designed and cut for them to stamp and assemble the day of the class. And my Stamp-a-Stack classes provide you with several occasion cards to take you through a few months of celebrations.</p></div>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>I bet you haven't noticed the<em><strong> Kraft</strong></em> boxes in the Occasions mini catalog (page 40). I overlooked them myself until I started seeing some of them decorated which certainly caught my eye!</p>
<p>For one thing <em><strong>Kraft</strong></em> boxes are a great value - four for only $2.95. They are a nice size too: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/2, so each holds a nice quantity inside. And the neutral color is perfect for embellishments, designer series paper and other accessories. The boxes come ready to decorate and assemble and require no adhesive. And once assembled they are very sturdy and travel well. </p>
<p>This past weekend Gina hosted a Stampin' Up! party in her home and I decorated two Kraft boxes using different designer series paper (perfect for those scrap pieces you have laying around) and embellishments. One box I gave away as a door prize. Kristy seem quite delighted when she won this box, using the new <em>Mixed Bunch</em> stamp set and <em>Blossom</em> punch:</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="photo-wrap photo-xid-6a00e54facd57388330163007df7f2970d photo-full " id="photo-xid-6a00e54facd57388330163007df7f2970d" style="display: inline-block; width: 300px;"><a href="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd57388330163007df7f2970d-pi"><img alt="KraftBoxDoor Prize" border="0" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54facd57388330163007df7f2970d" src="http://www.nutzaboutstamping.com/.a/6a00e54facd57388330163007df7f2970d-800wi" title="Kraft Box Door Prize" /></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p>Inside I had created three 3x3 matching cards and envelopes using the same paper but each had a different phrase on the card front. </p>
<p>The second box I gave to Gina as a thank you for hosting her party. Inside Gina's box was a nice selection of ribbon pieces for her to use on her upcoming projects. Gina loves ribbon and we share an inside joke about how to use the least amount possible on our paper projects! It was fun to see Gina laugh when she opened her box to see the ribbon piled up inside.</p>
<p>If you and your friends love to craft - scrapbook, cards, 3D items and more - why not host your own party? <strong>Sale-a-bration</strong> is the perfect time as everyone can earn free product! Contact me for my open dates and we'll plan a fun event together. </p></div>
