Merril Lynch says electric cars have to look hot. That is in order to sell well. I agree, and would like to add that without good looks they will probably never do as they could. Designers need to put in their time to create a spectacular electric car.

Radio Shack went up today on news they will carry iphones. This folks is like a nerdy guy who tries to become max pop by dating a cheerleader. What Radio Shack should do is jump on the solar green energy band wagon. They should push green tech like wind power.

Well, gone is the chemist with his morter. At one time we use leeches to "cure". However, now we know that this does nothing positive. People need to realize that many modern treatments may in the future found to be of a quality that is less than optimal, even poor.

This was not my goal, to blame coal. However, new evidence points to massive extinction in permain was cause by coal. Talk about green house gases. Hot magma came in contact with seams of coal and produced massive amount of CO2.

Well, we could certainly use a few green jobs now. Unemployment rate is now an official 10.2% and rising. Instead of creating green jobs, our gov is all about health care. It seems they would rather talk about a carbon tax and greenhouse gas cap, rather than build new factories. What we need is to build windmills here, solar power stations, and of course geothermal power.

Global climate deal is at least a year away. Well, that is what europe say. The problem is that CO2 emmisions are increasing. Right now we are seeing massive amount of greenhouse gases in our air. A big potion of our greenhouse gases are from farms - mainly methane from manure. Folks, this is not very green.

Global warming is causing our world to change. Alaskan glaciers are melting. This loss of ice causes our earth to lose its refrigerator. The frozen north that use to be cover in snow, is now green. People, this is bad because we will soon have a much hotter drier world - one that is never cover in ice.

Downside to buying less stuff is that many stores are going going gone... Today, there are many Kmarts that will close after Christmas. This is because there is no recovery. In fact, today the dow was down near 250 points. This is good news for our environement, but people need jobs now.

Another weak quarter for Kodak as revenues fall and losses increase. At one time people did wonder about the chemicals from developing film. Well, now consumer photography division of Kodak reports few sales of film. The problem is solved by digital cameras.

People, those huge Hummers that were so max pop in 2005 are gone. People still have enough money to buy Big SUV trucks and fast race cars. However, many are now trading in gas guzzlers for cute compact cars. It is as if our world is finally waking up.

It is often said that you cannot be too thin or too rich. The trailer park is often the icon of poor, However the mark of the super success is a massive megamansion. However, it costs literally a fortune to heat and cool that huge monster.

Often we can save money, by simply having a smaller home. It cost less in taxes, less in maintenance, and reselling it is easier.

There is a motion filed with USDA against target. This is because the soy milk product orgain® it carries use to be organic, but now uses conventional soybeans. There is a very distinct possibility of confusion with such similar names. I see many big corporations are jumping on a green organic band wagon. Sadly, some are cutting corners.

Employee union agrees to pay cut due to budget shortfall. The story seems like a broken record. However, as we make less, we spend more money. That is why we are in trouble so. By borrowing against our houses we were able to live. However, a better solution is getting less stuff.

Soil loss

A very sad loss we have is of top soil. It is that thin dark red layer on top of the soil profile. Under the top soil is a yellow clay layer and beneath that a gravel layer. At the very bottom is the bed rock. Due to erosion we are losing topsoil and forced to farm the subsoil which is less productive. Every time it rains topsoil is lost via erosion, but using organic farming we can slow soil loss.

People our world is what we make it. Back in 40's we fought fo freedom. However, now we see a world run by giant companies. These monster megacorps rule our world. It is like reading a poor comix. Like one where Hitler wins WWII with help from Nordic aliens and he is taken aboard a flying saucer given technology and told to create a blond super race.

When does our corporate nightmare end, when do we get our planet back and create an ecotopia? We are taking our planet to the brink of ruin.

wind power = pros & cons

There are many wind power - pros & cons. The noise of a squeaky wind mill can keep people up at night. The loud sounds made by these metal monsters are more annoying than many realize. Instead of getting more loans and printing more green pieces of paper we need to spend less money. Sadly we we are doing is printing orangeback ten funny money. The old greenback has been replaced by candy color currency that looks as fake as all told.

Good news is that we have a lot less pollution. Bad news is a lot less jobs. As we downsize industry we decline as an empire. The decline of our american empire is that we did not create green jobs. All we do is tax to death very 'ol skool' dirty industry like coal, but we have no solar or wind power.

GE profit falls 45%

OK one of the biggest power generating companies is GE. They make giant wind turbines. A big player in green power; however, GE is in woe. It see profits falling as it scales back on more speculative green power. GE profits fell 45% that means this year it make approx half of last year. There is less money for green power.
