É importante, portanto, sabermos como se faz o registro seguro e prático destas idéias, para que elas não “desapareçam no ar” e possam ser devidamente integradas, resultando na composição final completa. Sim, é verdade! Muitas idéias de composições (algumas muito boas) não vêm ao mundo simplesmente porque, ao serem geradas, não são registradas de forma alguma. Infelizmente, acabam se perdendo no esquecimento.<br />As idéias de composição musical acontecem quando você, por exemplo, está assistindo à televisão, ou está simplesmente por aí e de repente uma determinada conversa, comentário ou outro acontecimento qualquer sugerem um tema interessante para uma letra. O impulso criativo toma forma, as idéias não param e aí é preciso registrá-las. É bom que você ande sempre com um bloco de anotações, desses bem pequenos e baratos mesmo (fica até mais fácil de ser transportado). Nem pense duas vezes, anote nele todas as suas idéias de temas e letras para composições.<br />A inspiração pode vir na forma de uma pequena frase. Outras vezes, a idéia vem por meio de palavras desconexas, em seqüência. Mesmo que as frases ou as palavras não tenham sentido algum, o importante é que elas podem sugerir uma melodia (talvez seja essa a sua maior importância inicial), por isso devem ser anotadas. O contrário também pode ser verdadeiro, ou seja, uma melodia sugerir as palavras e frases mais adequadas. Não perca tempo, anote todas estas idéias antes que você as esqueça (algumas ficam em nossa cabeça por poucos segundos ou, no máximo, alguns minutos), sempre do modo mais fiel possível ao original. Estes pensamentos (aparentemente nenhuma relação entre si) depois de serem escritos no bloco de anotações, poderão ser posteriormente analisados por você para que haja um amadurecimento, de um modo mais amarrado e coeso. Isso porque nem sempre somos capazes de julgar as idéias criativas na hora que as concebemos. Às vezes é preciso um pouco de tempo para nosso cérebro processar aquela criação e reconhecer o seu valor, por isso a necessidade da anotação e da paciência.<br />Se você preferir, é possível guardar suas idéias em um gravador pequeno. Pode ser de microfita cassete ou – para os mais modernos – um gravador digital que armazene sons em um cartão de memória. Se o gravador for de microfita cassete identifique a fita, algo do tipo “idéias para letras” ou “idéias iniciais para letras de música”, para que você possa localizá-la facilmente. Se for gravador digital, você provavelmente vai passar a gravação para o seu computador e gravar em CD, aí você deve fazer a identificação nele também. É muito interessante que você leve o gravador para vários lugares, pelo menos quando estiver num período intenso de composição, já que nunca sabemos quando vamos ter uma boa idéia.<br />Já que estamos falando sobre gravadores, vamos falar um pouco sobre o registro de melodias, talvez a parte mais complexa referente ao registro de idéias para composição musical. O método oficial de registro de uma melodia é a partitura, na qual as notas e acidentes musicais são anotados por meio de sinais específicos, escritos na pauta musical. Sim, são aquelas “perninhas”, tracinhos e bolinhas pretas que para muitos é o mesmo que o idioma dos nossos conhecidos gregos. Felizmente, para o músico popular que não entende nada de partituras, tem um método mais prático que é a gravação da melodia direto no gravador. Neste método, você simplesmente canta ou assobia as notas (se preferir pode tocar no seu instrumento), da forma mais simples possível.<br />Essa melodia pode vir acompanhada de uma frase que não tem nada a ver, ou ela pode surgir associada a palavras soltas, ou não vir associada a nada (somente a melodia mesmo). Nos compositores com mais “estrada”, uma melodia pode aparecer associada a uma estrofe inteira (não se preocupem, com o tempo e insistência vocês conseguem!). O importante é que você grave tudo que considerar interessante, até um simples “tan ran ran” com três notas.<br />Não se esqueça que é possível que ninguém mais no mundo possa estar tendo a mesma idéia de letra ou melodia que você. Por isso, anote e grave tudo! Depois ouça bastante, critique e analise a pequena idéia que você teve. A melodia pode ter aparecido num tom muito alto para você cantar, aí você pode procurar o tom mais adequado para sua voz e para transmitir melhor a emoção que a música “pede”. Se a música que você quer fazer for mais acelerada, você pode aumentar um pouco o tom para cantar, para causar um efeito mais “quente”. A letra poderá ser alterada várias vezes para que fique completa, mas sempre a partir da idéia inicial que você precisou anotar.<br />Para compor, é preciso senso estético, autocrítica e percepção apurados. Essas habilidades podem ser construídas e desenvolvidas com o exercício constante. O simples registro de suas idéias iniciais de letras e melodias, associado a análises constantes do material e à prática da autocrítica, vão desenvolver a sua percepção musical e a sua sensibilidade. Conseqüentemente, sua antena artística vai melhorar. A importância destes registros de letras e melodias (seja em anotações ou em gravadores) é apenas inicial. Quando a música começar a ganhar corpo, esses registros podem ser dispensados. Sugerimos, apesar disso, que você sempre os guarde, pois eles serão verdadeiros documentos de sua história como compositor.
