And when looking for a job is high on the daily priority list, mobile apps just make that task faster and simpler.

Glassdoor, a career and jobs community site, launched a study on the behavior of mobile job seekers. Here's what they found:

Twitter Ramps Up Security With Two-Step Verification

Why? Because they're always hackable with the right software. That's why Google and Facebook implemented security similar to that of online banking last year -- separate steps to validate you are who you say you are. Twitter is a bit late to the game, but has just taken an important step in protecting the security of its users by adopting a two-step verification process option as well.

Results from a Pew Research Center study released today indicate that teenagers are more subdued in when it comes to enthusiasm about Facebook, preferring instead to express themselves on Twitter and Instagram. Why?

The top reasons were too many adults on the site (70% of the 800 teens surveyed said they were friends with their parents) and too much overall "drama".

The news came after several days of rumors, and as frantic anti-Yahoo pledges began appearing on Tumblr blogs. "This is ours, and Yahoo cannot take it" and "Don't let the Yahoo nightmare come true!" were common messages reblogged by Tumblr users this past week.

After the news became public this morning, users have taken on a more somber attitude of defeat: "Tumblr will never be the same", "So long to the Tumblr was we know it. It’s been real."

The new Maps has been built completely from the ground up, so the drastic new look and functionality may take users by surprise. But the main focus of the overhaul is 100% personalization for the person using the tool. Here's what you can expect...

Lumia 925: Sleek, Lightweight, and the Best Windows Phone Yet

The product is a major step up from the Lumia 920, not so much due to huge performance or feature upgrades, but its slimmed-down exterior and overall look.

The Lumia 925 stands out with a sleeker, more durable aluminum frame, replacing the 920's clunky polycarbonate shell. And the weight difference is noticable -- the Lumia 925 weighs in at 4.9 ounces compared to its predecessor tipping the scale at 6.7-ounces.

And its going to get even more valuable thanks to its new iOS app (also available on Android).

With these new mobile apps, users can search for influential people or hot brands, as well as products they are interested in. Following brands/people turns the app into a Pulse-style grid, allowing users to scroll through pictures and quickly find cool items to follow.

Though intriguing at the time, we did not go into too much detail about the project itself, as it appeared that the best printable gun could not fire without breaking into pieces. Well, Defense Distributed has come out with a fully working Printed Pistol and the debate has suddenly changed. The pistol is of high enough quality that it can fire multiple rounds and serve for home defense.
