This four year old Mexican Mutt ( multigenerational mixture of breeds found on the streets) is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Abandoned as a puppy, ANITA was taken in by a local Mexican shelter that presently contains over 100 other dogs and is a very scary place for some canines.

ANITA’s sweet, shy, kind nature allows her, unfortunately, to be bullied by the pack and she has never been able to fully adjust to an environment in which she is constantly afraid for her safety.

The decision, therefore, was made to fly her to Canada in search of a family who can provide ANITA with lots of love, attention and cuddles.

This girl adores puppies and would truly thrive in a household with another non aggressive dog or young canine. ANITA is the perfect example of a family companion for she gets along fabulously with people in general and is truly fond of children.

A Maltipoo(Maltese/Poodle) Bichon cross, this wee lad is neutered and current on all vaccinations.

RUBIN was originally discovered in a large urban area of Lebanon ( the country) lost and roaming the streets. Happily he was rescued and is now seeking a new family here in Canada.

Good with adults, children and other pets he is sweet, smart and a full blown car enthusiast.

Neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, this affectionate 20 month old puppy is a tiny bundle of energy and simply loves to play. Balls are a favourite toy (fetch is fun) but Gucci also enjoys snuggling, being petted and going for walks as often as possible.

Reactive to people and other dogs initially, Gucci needs to get to know strangers ( humans and canines) before he will accept them as part of his immediate surroundings and normal day to day interactions.

Cats are a work in progress for Gucci seems to feel that they are best when engaged in a rambunctious game of “hide & seek”. Whoops!! Interestingly enough Gucci does have a special cat friend who he meets, and greets happily, on his daily walks ( feline is on a harness). Go figure!!

This boy is beyond doubt a sweet and endearing canine whose best fit may be a quiet “adult only” household with no other pets where he can feel secure and at peace.

It took almost 6 weeks for this girl to settle in but with lots of patience, love and attention ROXY responded by establishing a trust and confidence in her foster mom that, by rights, deserved to be made permanent.

ROXY, gentle and shy, had a tough time surviving in the first few years of her life.

Originally a neighbourhood stray who a kind community member took pity on, her dwelling was comprised of an enclosed front porch area with food and water accessible but none of the comforts of home.

This Good Samaritan is moving, unfortunately, so we must find a permanent home for our ROXY.

Six years of age, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations, this affectionate feline thoroughly enjoys the company of other cats but definitely not that of dogs.

ROXY gets along fabulously with adults and, if the children in question are patient and calm, interacts well with youngsters.

We believe a retiree or senior couple who can shower ROXY with treats, toys and lots of attention would make a great match for this little girl who has endured so much already.

BEAR’s story should be a cautionary tale for families with pets.

Sadly her owner of many years passed away with no next of kin to care for BEAR and it looked like this girl would be handed over to municipal authorities who routinely euthanize senior pets.

Over 10 years of age and suffering from arthritis BEAR, in her “golden years”, was not considered worthy of the efforts necessary to re-home her. Tragic !! As it turned out, however, Oasis stepped in and found Bear a foster mom.

This girl is now safe and seeking a forever family. Spayed and current on all vaccinations, BEAR has been examined by the vet and declared ready to be adopted.

A senior citizen or retired couple with few stairs in their home and lots of love and attention to lavish on BEAR would, in our opinion, be her best match.

Discovered with his mother ( Gracie) and eight other infant siblings in an abandoned building in a rural community, this friendly, relaxed boy is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

KUNA loves the out-of-doors and would be the perfect canine companion for a family who enjoys walking, hiking and camping.

People of all ages are KUNA’S favourite buddies and he demonstrates this by the affection and attention he shows to one and all.

KUNA is good with other dogs but has not been tested with cats. He is a laid back, gentle fellow, however, so we do not suspect felines would present a problem. Our goal is to bring KUNA to Canada. Will you open your heart and home to this sociable, easygoing doggie?

Sadly this girl had a very tough start in life while residing with her owner in totally unsuitable conditions (flop/drug house) and was subjected to daily physical and psychological abuse.

Thankfully the man is now incarcerated and HOPE is busy learning how to socialize with other pets and people as any normal puppy would do.

Presently living with a foster family JAZZY is thriving and thoroughly enjoys running, wrestling and playing “tug of war” with the younger of the two canines companions with whom she spends her days.

Out-of-doors is a favourite hangout for JAZZY and exploring her back yard where she plays non stop fetch is a highlight of her day. JAZZY is a “cuddle bug” who is especially affectionate with her foster mom.

She gravitates to women and is still ( due to past history) somewhat wary and afraid of men. We believe JAZZY would be best suited for an “adult only” household with experienced dog owners who can continue to work with her to become the loving mature dog we know.

Thankfully she found refuge at a local dog shelter but life has not been easy for this sweet soul. Now two years of age, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations, BINDI developed an eye condition while still quite young and needed both a correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Unfortunately there were few veterinarian specialists qualified to help BINDI in Mexico so we believed the best option was to bring her to Canada. Mission accomplished when BINDI arrived in Toronto and was welcomed by a loving, attentive foster family.

BINDI gets along wonderfully with all humans, children included, but is best suited for youngsters 12 years of age and upwards. Cats are looked upon as play toys so a household devoid of felines is required.

BINDI loves to go for walks and delights in belly rubs, ear massages and sloppy kisses.

A sheer joy to be around, BINDI is affectionate and trusting and revels in the company of other dogs. This girl will surely steal your heart!!
