Maximus was dumped three years ago in an Oshawa alley. He, his mother and his two siblings were sealed in a box and obviously left to meet their fate. Luckily he was rescued and found shelter and love with a local family.

Divorce and the subsequent fall-out has necessitated, however, that Max be re-homed.

Max is a sweet but shy chap. Accustomed to living with other animals, Max is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Our hope is for a quiet, stable environment in which to place this gentle little fellow.

Smidgen’s present owner is devastated by having to give up this lovely little lady due to a change in family circumstances.

At four years of age, Smidgen has been in the same household since she was a tiny kitten and will take a bit of time to adjust to her new surroundings.

Up-to-date on her vaccinations, and declared 100% healthy by the vet, we recommend a quiet home for this feline who is quite shy and not accustomed to living with other animals. It is thought that she would be most comfortable with a senior couple or perhaps in a residence inhabited by a single person.

Kiara and Nala are siblings. At one year of age they are both spayed and up-to-date on their vaccinations.

Nala

It is our hope that they can stay together for they are best of friends and complement each other very well.

Nala is friendly, loving and very independent. She rules her world and is willing to fit into yours (on her own terms of course!).

Kiara, on the other hand, is a social butterfly and extremely affectionate.

Unfortunately their present owner can no longer accommodate them and thus these beautiful little ladies are looking for a new, forever home. Can you help?

Marlee is our Egyptian princess. This eighteen month old feline is incredibly elegant and surprisingly composed. Marlee was abandoned in an apartment when the tenant moved out and it was sheer luck that another inhabitant of the building was willing to alert Oasis to her plight.

Up-to-date on all of her shots, Marlee is friendly, affectionate, very sociable and a joy to be around. She gets along well with the other cats in her foster home and even enjoys the bunnies as they bound around their play area.

We suspect that Marlee will do well in whatever home environment eventually becomes hers for this attractive feline has shown a surprising ability to adapt.

Jordan, nine months of age and up-to-date on her vaccinations, was abandoned in an apartment by a tenant who obviously considered her to be disposable.

Luckily, a good samaritan who lived in the same building called Oasis and we were happy to place her in a nurturing foster home until a permanent placement could be made.

Jordan does well with other animals in her immediate environment and is friendly and playful although a bit shy. She has lots of energy and it is hoped that a quiet household with lots of stimulation will be her eventual destination.

Good neighbors are as valuable in some cases as close friends and Lucky’s owner has been the beneficiary of just such a pair of individuals. Confined to hospital, she is no longer able to care for this lovely little cat and the “wheels have been put in motion” by folks who live close by to find a new forever home for Lucky.

At five years of age, spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations, this attractive, friendly Persian Mix is not accustomed to living with other animals and we do believe would be best suited for a single pet household.

To the best of our knowledge Lucky has also not had any interaction with children although there is no reason to think that she might not be very happy with youngsters in her new home depending on their age.

Mystique, at 10 months of age, is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Although never mistreated, she did not have much human interaction in her first few months and is therefore quite shy and fearful when presented with people, situations or other animals with which she is not acquainted.

Thankfully she is presently in a wonderful foster home with lots of attention and will, no doubt, quickly shed her inhibitions.

She is a gentle little soul and would make a perfect companion for a senior citizen or retired couple.

Harpie, at seven years of age, is finally free of the cycle of pregnancies that have been her lot for many years.

Far too friendly to be a barn cat, the folks who owned the rural property on which she resided sheltered her over the winter with her last batch of kittens  (Houdini, Mystery and Mystique) in a small structure. They then approached Oasis for help in finding good homes for this little group of four.

Harpie has been to the vet, brought up-to-date on her shots and spayed. She definitely meets the criteria of a lap cat for she is truly affectionate and very friendly. This little gal would fit into most any household and deserves to find a forever home whose inhabitants will love and care for her as a cherished member of their family.

Gabby is a very special ten year old male cat that spent many years living in a hoarder’s home but has now been in his present foster placement for an extended period of time. He is thriving but needs the security of a forever home.

Up-to-date on his vaccinations and neutered, Gabby is a very compassionate little creature and interacts well with other felines. He is affectionate, social and friendly and would blossom if chosen by a couple or family that were willing to open their hearts and their home to him. Love and attention, in abundance, is all this gentle cat needs to make his coming years the best they can be.
