Participate in a "We support Stephenie Meyer" video. All you have to do is send a picture of yourself showing support to twilightthanks@gmail.com and put "VIDEO" in the subject line. Be creative with your show of support, but make sure it is a still photograph and not an actual video. We will take the photos and make them into a video that will later be posted on You Tube.

For those of you graphics people who want to do something, we have another idea. We are going to make a virtual quilt. Send a 200 X 200 support graphic to twilightthanks@gmail.com and we will work it into a virtual support quilt. Make sure you put "QUILT" in the subject line.

On Saturday Sept. 13, in honor of Bella’s birthday, wear a twilight themed t-shirt to show your love of the series. If you work or have other obligations that won’t allow you to wear a Twilight shirt, wear all black, white, and red to show your support.

All entries for the video or quilt must be submitted by Wednesday Sept. 3, 2008. You are certainly welcome to do one in each category, but that is by no means a requirement. Also please submit each item in a separate email as it will make our sorting go faster. I was just re-reading Stephenie Meyer's post on her website last night, and i noticed that she said that she won't be publishing the rest of Midnight Sun!I feel AWFUL!! But I guess this puts the fandom on rampage, unless you support her decision. I respect Stephenie Meyer as an author, i do not think this is the best choice for her to make, because [[i hate to mention Harry Potter]] But when whole copies of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince were published on the internet, J.K. Rowling didn't throw a fit and never write Harry Potter again, they encouraged people not to read it and then published the book anyway, it just disappoints me that she chose not to finish it. But i have chosen to support her, and show her that the fandom truly does love her! hopefully, eventually she may change her mind!

Twilight Coven Philippines is reporting that they will also get the Twilight movie on November 20th. Which we think (international fans correct us if we are wrong) would put the release roughly equal with the USA/Canada release once you take the international dateline into account.

To give an overview of release dates, that would now mean:

Just a few things about the new release Nov. 21st release date for Twilight:
1) I have no idea how this affects international release dates. I’m not exactly in the loop on those kinds of things. Hopefully that information will be available soon. I’ll see what I can find out…

2) I’m really, really sorry for any inconvenience the new schedule is causing people. I feel your pain. Let’s just say that my Thanksgiving plans are going through a major overhaul, too.

3) Looking on the bright side, this new release date means that Twilight will get to be on more screens–a lot more. That might mean a shorter drive for some people.

Twilight Chapters

As many of you may have noticed, i haven't been posting about each Twilight Chapter Lately. It's a lot of work to put one out, and all of us have read the books, including me. So it's not like i was reading them for the first time. The music on the page will stay, but i have decided to compile Playlists for each book. I think that because Breaking Dawn was in three parts, then there will be three playlists, but that will be the only book with more than one.

Just posting this to let you know! If you are interested in reading Chapter Reviews, then i suggest the Twilight Guy!
