If your child is between the age of 6 and 16, and keeps begging to learn how to surf, then he/she will love our Half-Day Summer Surf Camp. Our half-day surf camp provides an introduction to the fundamentals of surfing using our proven, five step surf skill progression method of instruction. Campers will learn balance techniques, paddling, the pop-up, how to catch waves and oceanography/water safety. The focus of camp will be catching waves and wave riding. Drop-off and pick-up are at South Mission Beach. Lunch is not provided.

Ocean Experience will be participating in the festivities of Fiesta Old Town tomorrow (5/5) and Sunday (5/6)! Thank you to everyone who came out this Saturday, January 28, 2012, to attend and support Ocean Beach Surf & Skate's 2nd Annual Skate for the Kids fundraiser! With the help of our amazing sponsors and parent volunteers, we were able to raise more than double the amount of money for OB Elementary than we raised last year!! The Second Annual Skate for the Kids fundraiser has been rescheduled for this Saturday, January 28, 2012! Although we were rained out last weekend, this Saturday's forecast calls for sunshine and warm temperatures, so it's bound to be an amazing day for our pro meet and greet, BBQ and raffle. Join Ocean Beach Surf & Skate and Ocean Beach Elementary at Robb Field from 11:00am to 3:00pm for some sweet skating, delicious food and fantastic raffle prizes. Remember, all proceeds are going to OB Elementary so this is a phenomenal opportunity to have fun and give back to the community. Join Ocean Beach Surf & Skate, premier skate and apparel companies and local skateboard pros to raise money for local school, Ocean Beach Elementary. On Saturday, January 21, 2012, from 11:00am to 3:00pm, OB Surf & Skate will host our 2nd Annual Skate for the Kids fundraiser at Robb Field Skate Park. This stellar event will feature a meet and greet with pro skateboarders, a tasty BBQ with food provided by Hodad's and a huge raffle with prizes from our sponsors and local businesses, Dizm, Syndrome, West, Electric, Jedidiah, Mostic, Sector 9, Tum Yeto, Vox, Shorty's, VAS, NHS, Hodad's, Blue Parrot, The Harp and more!

All proceeds raised from this event will be donated to Ocean Beach Elementary in an effort to counteract recent budget cuts and to bolster programs including music and art instruction, academic enrichment activities, family entertainment and student recognition events. In addition to monetary donations, event sponsors, local businesses and individuals have donated incredible prizes for the raffle such as skateboards, clothing, shoes, sunglasses, gift certificates and more.
