We were asked to design our client's new construction home which is part of the Ritz-Carlton Residences' couplex in Roslyn, New York. This interior design project reflects our signature modern coastal, Hamptons style for this North Shore water view home.

It was an amazing project where we worked on all rooms from start to finish from wall treatments to furnishings and adding complimentary home decor. We hope we are lucky enough to work on more of these residences which have a gorgeous blueprint. In the meantime, please enjoy our project images in our video. 

Cafe Bark is a new dog/pet and owner cafe in New York City. Approved as one of the first Cafe's for dogs to sit with their owners indoors, this cafe is making waves and causing a huge buzz in New York. But it all started with an idea and our designs that started the dream to what Cafe Bark is today.

We loved designing this Hampton Style Cabana Pool House for our client on the North Shore of Long Island, NY. It was a fun interior decorating project and new gourmet kitchen installation. 

We included fun photo wall art accents with clean crisp white seating and our favorite and cozy wicker chair. Little touches of clam shell lamps make it feel connected to the beaches in the area and are fun. 

There are many great decor pieces throughout the cabana and outside where we featured a large dining table for entertaining. 

When you have a client with amazing taste, you come out with amazing and exciting design results.

Our Old Westbury, NY clients had a large wine collection from their favorite places around the world and so we were thrilled to take on the task of designing them a wine cellar and home wine bar for them to enjoy daily and when they entertain their friends.

Our Center Moriches, Long Island, New York modern coastal home is decorated with subtle modern coastal touches like the stroke of the paint brush in the wall art in blues and grays.

The choice of wall sconces is a showstopper piece for the dining room since it carries in the natural wood element in its nickel coating.

We especially love them with outdoor patio furnishings, but once the summer has passed here in the Hamptons, we would suggest brining them in and gracing a quiet corner of the room which can use a little green in the design.

One thing a keen eye will notice in most design schemes, is a pair or trio of different sized or heights of similar or different vases. This is a design tip!

By adding two, three vases together on a console table, a shelf or even a side table, you'll draw the eye upwards in the room, filling the space and completing a fabulous look.

Most commonly, designers use similar vases, but in different heights and maybe variant shapes. Think of a happy couple. A taller person compliments a smaller statured person. The same goes for vases. You can add a third smaller child sized vase too, to bring even more depth to the design. 

What about mini or bud vases?

If you're going mini, a set of similar heights with various shapes would be a great addition to a room, though it will only fill the flat space, not drawing a persons' eye upwards like a tall floor lamp would do. 

There are endless ways to use vases in a room design, but when starting with an empty canvas, why not start with what you love first and then add on or take away from there. 

Another tip: Less is more!
