BABY ON BOARD STICKER now available for garbage babies

Before i saw this i thought its only in Amman where people through babies in to a garbage after china off course . but no they also do that in Italy.
This is an amazing campaign by the advertising agency JWT Milan, Italy for AMICI DEI BAMBINI In Italy.
They used the same classic sticker we use on cars when we have a baby “BABY ON BOARD” and added this message to it:
In Italy abandoned children are more than you think

and then they stick it on garbage around Italy.
The reason of this campaign is to point out this dramatic issue and encourage donation for the organization behind this campaign.
It’s really an Amazing idea …
They can use it actually in Amman … why not?

WARNING: NOT FOR SEX MAGAZINES

Before a few weeks, I stopped by Reem shawerma and i found an old religious man selling CD’s in front of the restaurant. I took a look on the CD’s and most of them were copies for some religious shows from TV or some scientific educational programs in the Islamic way.
on the other side there were CD’s for Design or programing softwares, I looked there and a CD for Adobe inDesign CS3 caught my eyes so i thought why not to take it.
and then i took a closer look at the CD cover and found the fallowing text written in Arabic:
Do not use these softwares except for things that satisfy god or for things that are permissible in Islam. and avoid the sin and the consequences that comes from it.

Actually after i read that, I started thinking not to buy it. but then i bought it only to blog about it, coz i find it funny and ironic.
I mean whats this? are you trying to tell me not to use it for designing sex magazines?
even in Saudi Arabia i didn’t see something like that…

First of all you are selling a copy of a software that costs around $700 for 2 JD’, second you are talking about sins while you are doing it according to Islam “or what other religious ppl says” by selling these copies.

I think religious people in Jordan are going mad these days.

Pink Floyd & Tawjihi

The night of Tawjihi results i wrote a post about Tawjihi coz i was somehow pissed off from everybody who were searching about the results before they publish it.
Today I checked my analytics report and found that my visitors graph jumped really high because of this word.

The top keyword that brings me visitors from search engines to my blog is pink floyd which is a post i wrote in 2005. But somehow till now it brings me visitors everyday.
and now after i wrote about Tawjihi this keyword became number 2 after Pink floyd in one day.

apparently my post became the result number one in google search when you search about tawjihi results 2008

Oh my god! don’t tell me this is a real commercial!!
It’s really horrible …
I just found it while searching for an old TV commercial we used to make fun of at school which says “برجع بطلع” …
it was so funny …

But this commercial is unbelievable who is the hell is the advertising agency who did that? This would definitely win the worlds worst TV commercial ever. and its not even old, It’s 2007.
what a shame …

For some reason I still remember the words of this commercial till now, once i say imagine in Arabic i continue with the rest… I think we used to make fun of it a lot in my school in Saudi Arabia.

I don’t know if they were showing this ad here in Jordan at that time …
