Paghahanda para sa Reunion

Ang magaganap na hayskul reunion sa Linggo, ika-25 ng Nobyembre 2012 ay naglalayong pagsama-samahin ang mga nagsipagtapos sa Olongapo City National High School noong 2002 at magbalik-tanaw sa mga kaganapan sampung taon na ang nakakaraan.

Halo-halo ang emosyon sa pag-attend sa reunion. Karamihan kasi sa atin, iba na ang itsura ngayon sa yearbook picture natin, pero ayos lang yun. Parte yan ng buhay. Nakakatawang isipin na may mga hindi ka makikilala sa reunion na dati mong kabarkada noong hayskul at ganun din naman sila sa iyo dahil nga sa laki ng pagbabago. Maaring feeling mo hindi ka pa successful gaya ng inaasahan mo, pero wag mo itong gawing batayan. Kasi, hindi lahat ng batchmates mo eh naging presidente ng malaking kumpanya, o ambassador sa ibang bansa. Marami rin ang nagsisimula pa lang. Maging proud ka sa accomplishment ng mga ka-batch mo, at i-share mo rin kung ano man ang narating mo.

Marami ang gusto ka lang makasama at makakwentuhan. Marami dyan gusto ipakita sa iyo ang picture ng mga anak nila, o ikwento ang mga experiences nila nung College. Nakakatawa ring isipin na kabatchmate mo pala yung dati mong katrabaho, o ang iyong "special someone" eh makikilala mo na 10 years after graduation.

Isang paalaala. Ang reunion ay hindi payabangan. Totoong may kuwentuhan sa mga na-achieve sa buhay, pero kahit sino, hindi gustong makasama ang mahahangin. Do not pretend to be someone you are not. Ipakilala mo ang sarili mo at ibahagi kung ano ang mahahalaga sa iyo at mas matatanggap ka ng mga kabatchmate mo. Maging realistic ka lang sa mga expectations mo.

Ang mga bagay na magandang dalhin sa reunion ay ang mga sumusunod: mga lumang pictures noong highschool, family pictures at camera. Magsuot ng kumportableng damit para maka-focus sa event.

Kapag umattend ka ng reunion, sinisigurado ko na isa ito sa mga i-te-treasure mong experience. Nostalgic in a way na makikita mo ulit ang mga pamilyar na mukha na kasama mo noon sa kulitan, tawanan at kalokohan. Isa rin itong paraan para magkaroon ng mga bagong kaibigan. Ang reunion ay isang masayang pagkakataon upang mag-reminisce, makibalita at makakilala ng bagong kaibigan. Isa lang ang requirement naming mga representatives sa lahat ng dadalo: Enjoy! :)

Based on the Facebook Invitation for the Event page and additional information from reps, we are still anticipating 100 more batchmates come November 25. For guests, we are anticipating the new OCNHS principal, Mr. Leo de Guzman and Mrs. Helen Aggabao, Mrs. Fe Porras and 15 of our advisers. The list also includes our sponsors namely:Councilor Tet Marzan, Gav Center, Bluehouse Management Consultancy, Subic.com and GotoPhilippines.com. We have yet to hear from our other sponsors.

Agenda 2: Turn-over of Donations

The finance team received P11,231.55 of donations from the following batchmates. Rodel Deville, Benson Castro, Xydie Mae Timbas-Castro, Michelle Guiang and Eugeric Cuevas.

We are still waiting for other sponsors to give their pledges before our event. On November 23, a list of sponsors will be presented on the blogsite and the batch page.

Agenda 3: Returned Printed Tshirts

Ordered last November 4 and November 11, 20 printed Batch Shirts are returned to their respective owners.

Agenda 4: Catering

A 75% downpayment for 200 pax catering was received by Mr. Alvin Lazaro, our caterer. A contract was signed by two of our finance representatives namely: Ms. Anielou Gelacio, our finance head, and Mr. Christopher John Asaro Jr., as well as the promotions head, Ms. Rossan Rubrico. A remaining balance of P5,500 will be paid on the event day.

Agenda 5: Events Team

Head of events team, Ms. Czerlene Razal, received P7000 to pay for the venue decorations as well as prizes for the games on our event.Venue preparation will be a 2-day event, November 24 afternoon and November 25 morning.

Agenda 6: Tables and Chairs

Tables and chairs were already ordered good for 200 persons. There is also a table for the guests, and for the registration.

Agenda 7: Registration

A step-by-step procedure on how to register for our event will be posted during the week. So keep posted.

Agenda 8: Election of officers

As part of the batch's project, the representatives are aiming for the batch to be registered under Security and Exchange Commission (SEC). There will be a presentation of vision and mission statements as well as an election of officers.

Q: Kelan ang reunion, anong oras at saan?
A: Sa November 25 Linggo 2PM hanggang 9PM sa OCNHS Bleachers.

Q: Tuloy ba ang Reunion kapag umulan?

A: Tuloy na tuloy. Covered Court na ang Bleachers.

Q: Saan at magkano ang tickets?
A: Sa mga wala pang tickets, meron sa Registration Desk sa entrance ng bleachers sa November 25. P300 ang bawat isa. Hanapin lamang si Roselle para maka-avail ng ticket.

Q: Pwede bang magsama?
A: Dinidiscourage namin ang pagsama ng hindi ka-batchmate. Kung hindi maiiwasan, lalo na ang mga anak, required rin pong bayaran ninyo sila ng ticket, sa parehong halaga, P300 bawat isa.

Q: May dress code ba?
A: Kung meron kang napagawang Batch shirt, mas maganda kung ito ang suotin mo. Kung wala casual attire lang po.

Q: Saan ako pwede umorder ng Tshirt?
A: Sa ngayon, itinigil po muna namin ang pagkuha ng order sa Tshirt. Kung gusto po talaga ninyong magpagawa, maaari po kayong pumunta sa Angel Touche sa City Square at hanapin si Richard Omania. Mayroon po siyang kopya ng template. Pero depende po sa mapag-uusapan ninyo kung magkano ang Tshirt. Iba na po ang presyo kumpara sa naunang naipost.

          10 taon mula ngayon, wala ka bang naalalang pinasulat sayo na essay about “Me, 10 years from now”? Kung meron ay nakakatuwa naman isipin. Natatandaan nyo pa ba kung ano ang isinulat ninyo? O kung hindi man essay ay meron bang portion ng highschool life mo na naisip mo na “Ganito na ako after 10 years”? Nangyari ba ang mga ito o hindi?
         “Highschool life ang pinakamasayang part ng isang kabataan.” Ito ang sinasabi ng lahat ng dumaan na ng highschool. Madaming memories, maraming friends, madaming first time, maraming gimmicks, maraming gala, maraming subjects, maraming tests, maraming projects, at marami ring gastos at kung anu-ano pa. Sa makatuwid marami ding techniques and strategies para malagpasan ang kung ano man ang kinakaharap. Nagbabalik na ba ang mga alala ninyo?
          Sa pagtitipon natin ngayon talagang inaasahan ang sabihan ng “Uy! long time no see" and kamustahan. Nandiyan din syempre ang walang humpay na pagre-reminisce ng mga alaala natin nung highschool. Kung ano ang mga happenings. Masaya man o malungkot. Nakakatuwa man o nakakainis. Mga embarassing moments, at mga achievements. Pati na ang kung saan-saan naggagala or tumatambay. Ang mga old time topics tiyak magugunita natin sa oras na ito.
          Di mawawala ang “San ka na ngayon nagwo-work?” “Kinasal ka na ba?” “Sino napangasawa mo?” “Ilan na ang anak mo?” “San sila nag-aaral?” at kung anu-ano pang tanong! Inaasahan na parang feeling mo nasa D Buzz ka or guest ka sa isang talk show na kelangan ang palitan ng tanong at sagot. Dapat naghanda ka talaga.
          Nakakatuwa naman na malaman na may mga schoolmates ka or classmates na nagkatuluyan! Mantakin mo sa OCNHS pala nila nameet ang mga soulmates nila!
Bigyan pansin naman natin ang mga narating nating mga batch 2002. Nakaka-kaba ba? At ang iba sa atin ay maaring nahihiya. Pero wag natin isipin ito. Just smile po dahil lahat po tayo ay paniguradong may narating!
Sa facebook pa lang grabeng informations na ang makakalap mo. Pagdating sa pictures, ang mga batch 2002 girls ay di magpapahuli sa kagandahan! Di rin naman papatalo ang mga handsome boys ng batch 2002! Alam nyo naman na kung sinu-sino sila.
          Mga dating estudyante. Mga simpleng bata. Mga simpleng kaibigan. Ngunit ngayon di natin dapat ikagulat bagkus ay dapat tayo maging proud na malaman na marami sa batch natin ang mga sumusunod: Managers, Supervisors, Leaders, Teachers, Engineers, Operators, Models, Businessmen, Police, Programmers, Consultants, Coordinators, Data Encoders and Nurses! Ang iba pa nga ay Vice President ng company, Geologist, Chemist, Internet Café Owners and Fashionshoppe owners! Ang iba pa nga ay nasa ibat-ibang panig ng mundo. Idagdag pa natin ang mga pinakadakilang propesyon sa buhay. Karamihan sa atin ay mga Hari at Reyna na ng tahanan. Kung meron man ako hindi nabanggit ay pasensya na dahil di ko na mababanggit lahat ng klase ng profession ang natamo n gating mg aka-batch mates. Dahil sobrang dami.
Akalain mong nasa iisang school tayo dati. Nagkikita-kita. nagtutulungan, nagkakabatian, nagkakatampuhan. Nag-iba-iba ang landas simula ng magtapos ng highschool. Pero sa kabila ng lahat ay di lumilimot sa lahat ng pinagdaanan, at hindi nililimot ang pagkakaibigan.
          Eh ang mga teachers natin kumusta naman? May balita ba kayo? Napapasyalan nyo ba sila para kumustahin or balitaan?
          10 years from now ano na kaya ulit tayo? Marahil ay madadagdagan pa uli ang mga topic na pag-uusapan. At marami na uli ang pagbabago sa estado ng buhay. Sa pagkikita-kita natin ngayon ay naway maging inspirasyon sa atin ang bawat isa. Ano man ang dumating sa mga susunod pang taon, naway malagpasan natin ang mga pagsubok at naway bawat isa sa atin ay patuloy na magtamo ng tunay na kaligayahan. God bless at hanggang sa muli.

September 8, 2012

I. Call to Order

Ms. Czerlene Razal called to order the regular meeting of the OCNHS Batch 2002 at 8:00 PM on September 8 in McDonald’s Magsaysay.

II. Roll Call

The following persons were present: Ms. Anielou Gelacio, Mr. Ronnel Pega, Ms. Rossan Rubrico, Mr. Wilfred Lee Portacio, Mr. Ramwel Ramos, Ms. Domalyn Lumanog, Ms. Le-an Mendoza, Mr. Angel Gaton, Mr. Juminyl Aga-ab and Mr. Christopher John Asaro.

III. Agenda

Agenda 1: Budget - It is still subject for approval from the finance committee. A list should be provided for the cost of the event on November 25, before the next meeting.

Agenda 2: Ticket prices - Dahil sa generous donation ni IDOL sa food and sa pagsagot ni KINDNESS sa half ng lights and sounds, we are only asking P200 per ticket. Please tell our dear batchmates na 1 ticket = 1 person.

Agenda 3: Sponsorship We are still looking for sponsors for our event. Ive already uploaded our sponsorship duly signed by our committee heads. You can already download it.

Agenda 4: Informing school - We have yet to hear from Rep Valiente, if the letter for Mam Cocina and Mam Aggabao pushed through. Nevertheless, I doubt we will be rejected. Just a heads up that we are working on it.

Agenda 5: Token for guests - Red wine for all non-paying guests such as sponsors, advisers, guest speaker, principal.

Agenda 6: Invitation letters to guests & sponsors. - The deadline for RSVP for sponsors will be a month before our event. Afterwards, we will be sending them invitation letters.

Agenda 7: Motorcade - As of Sept 8 we have 2 cars and 1 coaster joining our motorcade. Wala pa pong nagpapalista kung sinu-sino makakasama sa motorcade.

Agenda 8: Decors, Lights & Sound - We need to make the event simple yet not too drastic. Yet to receive quotes for lights and sound. Meron na rin pong sasagot ng half the payment for the lights and sound. As of skirting of tables and chairs, si Rep Juminyl na raw po ang bahala :)

Agenda 9: Program - Program's nearly finished. Drafted na po sya ni Rep Czerlene. We just need a name for our guest speaker and a list of people who would like to perform and its good.

Agenda 10: Photobooth - This will be our souvenir from the event. According to Rep Ramwel, there'll be a sponsor for this. Good news for all of our batchmates.

Agenda 11: Mardigras - Yes, tuloy po ang pagkakaroon natin ng booth sa Mardigras (Oct 25-27). Isa po ito sa next meeting agenda. Everyone who can help are welcome. Just contact Rep Domalyn for details.

Our next meeting will be on October 7, 2012 Sunday 10AM onwards. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

UuyY Pips! Ikaw nga…Malapit na ang Grand Reunion natin. Sampung taon na pala ang nakalipas parang kelan lang nuh? mga nene at totoy pa tayo tapos bigla ka mapapaisip ang tanda ko na pala hehehe…

HIGHSCHOOL LIFE ba kamo?! Sino ba naman ang hindi makakamiss dito? Dito kasi madami tayo natutunan, nainlove ng sobra, nabroken hearted, nakipag away, naging tamad, natutong uminom, magyosi,bumisyo at higit sa lahat dito din tayo nagkaroon ng mga totoong kaibigan na nakasama mo sa saya at lungkot ng buhay mo.

Dito din naalala natin ang mga teachers nating matatapang, yung mga teachers na kala mo mangangain. Yung mga teachers na nakiki-ride sa kalokohan natin. Parang student-teacher bonding. Yung mga teachers na nagtitinda sa atin ng pagkain tulad ng (puto at iba pa..uuyy,alam niyo yan!) at yung mga teachers na ginagaya natin ang pronunciation at action like (SUBstance at tumatalsik ang laway… ehemm!kilala niyo ba yun?naku,oo siya na nga tumpak yang nasa isip mo!hehehe). Andyan din yung teacher na dinadaya natin ang orasan para maaga tayo makauwi. Eh.. ang magbansag sa teacher nagawa niyo ba? Huh! Kami noon may teacher kami na ang tawag namin ay (BALANOY) hehehe ang hilig niya kasi ipproject sa amin yan…(ang sasama eh nuh… pero di mo daw nafeel ang high school kung hindi mo naranasan ito.. tama dba?

Balikan natin yung unang araw ng pasukan, dba ramdam natin ang excitement nun. Yung tipong gusto mo ulit makipagbidahan ng bagong gamit sa mga kaklase mo. Gusto mo ulit magpapampam, kwentuhan at tawanan sa kanila. Ang maranasan ang tensyon kapag may away sa loob ng klase o labas ng school. Gusto mo ulit agawin ang mga pagkain nila tuwing recess at makipagkopyahan sa kanila yung tipong sama- sama kayong papagalitan ng mga teacher. Ang mag-escape para magmovie marathon sa isang bahay o gumala sa marikit park at cosmic. Ang magkita- kita kayo tuwing weekend para gumawa ng project kahit wala naman talaga. Naalala niyo nung high school tayo sino sa atin ang nagsasabi ng ganito? Pengeng papel, yun bang, kapag nangailangan ng 1 fourth sheet of paper, pag merong may 1 whole, hahatiin na lang sa apat. Tas pag sinabi ni teacher na “okay number 1” may sisigaw na“teka mam ah, naghahati pa ay!”. At minsan, may hindi nakakamalay na magtetest pala,“hala, may quiz? pahingi daw papel!”…Samahan mo naman ako sa canteen. May ballpen ka pa? at yung pag meh nawawalang ballpen, may sisigaw na “TANGINA, MAMATAY NA ANG MAGULANG NUNG KUMUHA NG BALLPEN KO!!!” … Uwian na ba? Saan tayo mamaya? Eh…eto sino nakaexperienced nito: Dadagsain ka ng mga nakasahod na kamay kung may isang pad kang papel, ingayan, awayan, harutan, landian, PAHINGI NG POLBO, yung tipong papasok ng school tapos pagkarating sa school sasabihin mo kagad “Sino may assignment. Pakopya.” Miski yung 1^st honor kumokopya din. Oha hahahaha. Yung mga pagkakataong natutulog sa klase o kaya minsan kumakain ng patago habang nagtuturo si teacher hahaha...at xempre di mawawala yung mga lovers sa likod. (Ayy…maisingit ko nga lang din pala.. alam niyo ba 10 years na din ang lovers nating si Rossan at Wilfred…uuuYyy ang tibay congrats sis! Kasalan na lang invited kaming lahat ah? Hehehe)

HayYyzZz!eto I’m sure relate na relate kayo pips… assignment dito, report doon. Exam dito, project doon. Libro dito, computer doon. Ballpen dito, lapis doon. Papel dito, kwaderno doon. Minsan, parang di na ata ramdam ng mga teachers natin ang hirap ng ating pinapasan. Parang iniisip ata nila na para tayong makina; hindi nakakaramdam ng pagod.

Eh…paano nga ba tayo mag-aral noon? Noon highschool tayo, wala tayong pakielam kung may quiz tayo. Pwede pa naman mag-review bukas before quiz. Pwede pa naman bumawi sa periodical at may recitation pa naman hehehe….

Weeww… ang isa pang lagi nating inaabangan Pips tuwing sasapit ang December…ang CHRISTMAS BAZAAR.. Ang saya talaga nito promise.. yung pagpasok mo pa lang sa school meron ng mga nakabilog sa daanan at kapag nagtakbuhan na ang mga estudyante naku!alam na hulihan blues na kaya kailangang pumasok ka sa bilog na nakadrawing sa daanan dahil kung hindi kulong ang abot mo hehehe… may multa naman P5.00 makakalaya ka na…remember niyo pa ba yun? Eh yung blind date…ehemmm…. Mukhang marami ata nakakaalala dito (Kinikilig) hehehe… yung tipong naiblind date ka sa crush mo hayyzzz..ang saya naman nun (^_^)! Sayang ako di ko naexperienced eh ahehehe… napauwi ako bigla ng bahay dahil sa ginawa ni Lynt na iblind date kay ano… iiHh… nkakakaba kasi that time pero narealized ko ahmmf! Sayang pagkakataon na yun eh hehehe echos lang! Meron pa ngang kiss booth at marriage booth nun eh natry nio ba yun? May Disco pa nga san ka pa? oh dba? Sa OCNHS lang meron yan!

Lastly, of course highschool friends. Yung nabuong pagkakaibigan nung highschool? May mga names pa nga ang grupo eh dba? Tulad sa amin may (SIXPAC, YSHENAE, D’DREAM V, BUKAKA GIRLS etc.. yung isang grupo nakalimutan ko name yung grupo nila Mardoni..hay!sign of aging!) Ang friendship na yan hindi na mawawala yan. Oo, may ibang nawala kasi nasa ibang bansa sila pero still may contact pa rin tayo sakanila. At least once a month meron pa rin tayong get together. Wala na sigurong papantay sa mga kaibigan natin nung high school sa trust and love na binibigay natin sa isa’t isa. Yung tipong Ilang beses na nag-away away pero in the end nag-ba-bati bati pa rin. Never say die ang drama. One of the reason na rin siguro kasi sabay sabay tayong nag-grow up. Halos lahat ng first sama sama nating ginawa. Unang gala, inom, bar hopping, takas, trip at marami pang iba. Sila yung nakasama mo sa worst at good things na nangyari sa buhay mo. Kilalang kilala ka na nila, alam na nila kung kelan ka naiiyak, nasasaktan o masaya. Kumportable ka ng kasama sila. Eh, namiss ko tuloy bigla ang mga friends ko. Sa ibang chapter kasi ng buhay natin hindi mo alam kung sino nga ba yung totoo. Hindi lahat makakasama mo. Hindi lahat tanggap ka. Pero syempre may makikilala rin naman tayong mga bagong kaibigan. Hindi na nga lang katulad nung mga kaibigan natin sa highschool. May kasabihan nga tayo “Memories last forever, never do they die, Friends stick together and never really say Goodbye”.

HayYyy…Nakakamis noh? Yung mga ganyang moments. Ang highschool life ang pinakamasaya sa lahat kahit na maraming trials, maraming mahihirap na gawain, at maraming kaaway enjoy parin. Kung masyado mong sineryoso ang pag aaral mag sisisi ka.

Kaya Pips, sama ka na sa darating na Grand Reunion natin, mark your calendar na mag leave ka na agad..one day lang toh friend at tiyak na walang katumbas na sahod mo ang saya na makukuha mo once na nakita mo kami J Isang beses lang dadaan sa atin ang 1 dekada kaya join na!

May iba na nahihiya pumunta kasi pinangungunahan ng insecurity at paranoia. Yung iba sa atin, parang ayaw ummatend ng highskul reunion kasi sobrang malayo na ang narating ng iba nating classmates habang siya ay wala namang masyadong na accomplish.

Pips…"Reunion natin toh, hindi contest" kaya dumalo ka na. Masaya. You cannot make old friends. Sayang pag lumayo ka pa sa old friends mo. Just remain true to yourself. Many of them would be happy to see you. At malay mo, baka through them ay ma-bless ka. But no matter, be a blessing to them. Isa pa, reunions and homecomings are opportunities to meet up with your beloved and notorious teachers pwede nyong bweltahan yung mga nagpahirap sa inyo hehehe.. (echos!)

I’m sure pagpumunta ka ang una mong hahanapin sa high school reunion natin ay kung sino ang nag-asawa na, kung sino ang yumaman o pinalad sa trabaho, at kung sino-sino ang nagtabaan o nakalbo :) Makakausap mo ulit yung binigyan mo ng love letters, roses, at chocolates (uuuYyyy…) Maririnig mo na naman ang kwento ng mga classmates mong mahangin pa sa buhawi.. May mga nagsasabing ang mga may maipagmamalaki lang ang uma-attend sa school reunions. Maling mali ito Pips, kung naka attend ka ng Pre-Reunion natin naku ang saya kasi yung mga matagal mo ng hindi nakita ang laki na ng pinagbago and it’s for better… Ako nga eh, aakalain mo ba naman na si Vincent pa ngayon ang nagbabawal kina Arbyn at Ronald dahil sa sobrang kulit nila. Nakakatuwa lang na makita kayo ulit J. That time din, ang dami naming nakilalang bagong kaibigan na hanggang ngayon kasama pa din namin lalo na sa gimikan..hehehe (know niyo na kung sino kayo J)…

Pips, ang pera ay hindi sukatan ng tagumpay ng tao. Actually mas marami pa kayong alam kaysa sa nakasulat sa mga Transcript of Records. Mas marami pa kayong kayang gawin kaysa sa nakalista sa mga resume at mas mataas ang halaga n'yo kaysa sa presyong nakasulat sa payslip tuwing sweldo...kaya wag na po kayo magdalawang isip pa..attend na Pips J See you!

Agenda 1. Finalize Date and Venue: OCNHS Batch 2002 will have its 10th year reunion on Nov 25, 2012 (Sunday) from 1PM onwards at OCNHS Covered Court. A letter will be addressed to Mrs. Cocina and Mrs. Helen Aggabao for booking the venue. It was suggested that Mrs. Fe Porras, our previous level coordinator should be asked to be our batch adviser. A donation box will be available on the reception desk, which ALL proceeds will be given to OCNHS to pay for the utilities.

Agenda 2. Advertisement: Tarps will be posted before September 15 on selected locations. A 4x4 Tarp at the front of OCNHS, a 3x9 Tarp will be available for the whole month of October on Anonas Bridge, a 2x3 Tarp located near Jollibee Rotonda, a tarp located in front of Wesley and Columban and another tarp located in Sta Rita. Kindly encourage our batchmates to keep the word going about our reunion. It will also help if someone regularly advertises our batch reunion thru radio stations and cable tv ads.

Agenda 3. Budget: On estimated 150 attendees, where 10 are guests, at 250php pax for food, rough estimation for needed budget would be more than 85k. That will mean roughly 600 Php per head. We need to encourage people to donate aside ticket sales. Speaking of tickets we have an early bird sale. Tickets will be sold at 300 Php per head until September 30. Reps are required to pay 500 Php before September 15. If come September 30 and we have less than half of the funds, fund-raising activities will be conducted for the whole month of October.

Agenda 4. Sponsorships: Sponsorship from companies, in cash or in kind are all welcome. They could be invited on our event, or they can post tarps and have booths during our event. They can also join us at the motorcade.

Agenda 5. Motorcade: As of Aug 26, 2 cars will be joining the motorcade. Batchmates are asked to speak with their corresponding representatives if they would like to join. Route map and letters for OTMPS will be drafted. Riders are encouraged to join, but gas allowances are still on hold.

Agenda 6. Event: Events people will have a meeting on September 8 to finalize the event program. On the event itself a program booklet will be available per table and for the hosts. The event will be casual, no required dress code for non-reps although they are encouraged to wear batch shirts. Reps on the other hand are required to wear our golden yellow shirts. An events invitation will be up soon in FB.

Agenda 7. Entertainment: We dont have specific hosts yet. We are planning more of a comedy bar type or dj-english type. We are also on the process of hiring a band and band equipments. Will edit this post as soon as we have a definite yes. There will be a slideshow presentation, pictures from yearbooks and pictures submitted by our batchmates. A choir will sing the doxology and national anthem. Talents will also grace the stage to entertain us. As suggested, reps will have a presentation. How bout singing "On this day" at the last part of the program? Will talk more about this next meeting.

Agenda 8. Catering: There are 4 caterers who are giving quotes. A deadline is set on September 15 sa mga gusto pang humabol. A mobile bar is also suggested for mixed drinks.

Agenda 9. Invitations: Invitation letters are for non-paying guests such as our advisers, level coordinator, principal and sponsors. Hopefully FB ads, tarps and word-of-mouth are enough.

Agenda 10. Raffle: Yes, anyone who attends will have a chance to win. Though batchmates are required to be in the event to claim it. Good news because we already have prizes to be given away. 3pcs Flat Iron, 3pcs Rice Cooker, 1pc electric fan, 2pcs mobile phone. Still waiting for the list to grow.

Agenda 11. Giveaways: We would hire a photobooth. It will be located near the entrance. Before entering the event hall, pictures should be taken. There will 2 copies printed: one for the batchmate and another to be kept for memory book. There will also be a soft copy of the pictures to be uploaded in FB the following day and kept for future references. It was also suggested if we could employ a souvenir shop, where some percentage can be added to our batch fund.

Agenda 12. Reception Desk: There will be 5 people who will grace the front desk. Two for registration and gathering of bio info, 2 for on-site sale items and 1 for the photobooth station. Aside from 4 reps that will take care of the lights and sound, all reps are asked to be ushers and usherettes of the event.

Agenda 13. Security: As per security, we will ask Shaider and Company to aid us. If they decline, we would look for bouncers.

Agenda 14. Blogspot: We need feature article writers for our blogspot. Aside from that m deceased batchmates will be named in the memorials page and would be given a brief tribute on the event.

Agenda 15. Seating Arrangements: It was suggested to have a random seating arrangement. The reason is for sharing network with other batchmates, not only with your cliques, at the same time to break walls.

Agenda 16. Lights and Sounds: Will have to check at OCNHS if there are available spotlights, disco lights, amplifiers, etc. If not we would have to rent which will have a significant budget increase.

Agenda 17. Tickets: After designing and printing, 6 tickets will be given to each section for dissemination.

Next meeting will be on September 16 10AM. Venue: TBA.

Ito ba ang mukhang STRESSED!

Gaya ninyo tao rin naman kami. Hindi rin kami nakakalimot na maglaan ng oras para hanapin ang tinatawag nilang “kasiyahan” at “pahinga”. In other words, “unwinding moments”, walang bahid tokis ang sinasabi kong ito ha (paki-click ang link para sa iba pang pictures ng gig ng ating mga katropa).

Hay naku, bilang isang noob na writer, hindi ko naman pwedeng palagpasin ang pagkakataong ito. Kaya naman ito, kasama pa rin ako – sa hirap man yan o sa ginhawa ha. (sabay tawa ng malakas). Bakit ako natatawa, ewan ko ba?! Basta parang patay malisya ako sa kasiyahang ito pero ganoon pa man, tingnan nyo naman makatitig si rep Le-An P. Mendoza?!

Alam kong busy ka dahil sa iyong trabaho, pag-aaral o kaya sa iyong negosyo. Alam ko ring kulang ang oras mo pag-uwi mo ng bahay dahil sa ito’y nauubos sa pag-aasikaso sa iyong kapamilya, sa iyong anak, asawa o simpleng kamag-anakan lang. The discussion of the meeting are the following agendas;

Agenda 1. Venue: Wala pa ring napipili since we are still waiting for the quotes from Club V. Makakausap ko later iyong manager by then maipopost na po lahat ng quotes from different possible venues.

Agenda 2. Bank Account: We had a revision of the finance committee. The head will still be Rep Anielou Gelacio, siya po ang bahala sa books of accounting. The other members: Rep Christopher John Asaro, Rep Roselle Jeanne Moroni and Rep Mars Stenseth, will be our signatories for the account.

Agenda 3. Donations: The donations will be used for the grand reunion event itself. Pero during the event, meron po tayong donations box that we could use to help the school. If donations are enough to cover all expenses sa event, there is NO NEED for us to sell tickets from our fellow batchmates. We will be tallying all donations incurred before the next reps meeting. By then, we can estimate kung needed pa ba ang registration fee or not.

Agenda 4: Booking the venue: Target will be on the 1st week of September. We would have to pay half of the fee of the venue para mai-book na natin. The other 50% we'll have to pay maybe a week before the event itself.

Agenda 5: Promotions: There will be a tarpaulin posted in front of OCNHS and Anonas Bridge as soon as we decide on the venue. The contact persons will be Rep Le-An Pacheco Mendoza, Rep Romar Bantican and Rep Czerlene Relano Razal.

Agenda 6: Sponsorship: In addition to donations, we are also accepting sponsorship, not only from our batchmates but from other companies and businesses as well. Sponsors will have a place in tarps during the event as well as in our blog site.

Agenda 7 Tshirts: Sa mga batchmates nating gusto ng T-shirt, sisimulan na po nating magbenta. We are adding 50php for every T-shirt pandagdag sa batch fund. Additional 10php naman if they're the ones to provide the shirt. Will be posting prices and colors available soon.

The next meeting is schedule on August 26, 2012 (Sunday) 10AM. The agenda of the next meeting will be on ticket sales (if still needed), head counts of attendees, guest list, booking entertainment, caterers, decors, token or souvenirs, etc.
