Eine haftungsrechtlich korrekte Geburtsklinik hat Mindestanforderungen, die weniger mit den Gynökologen und Hebammen zu tun haben, sondern vielmehr mit einer permanenten OP-Bereitschaft. Diese Kosten (ca. 1.000.000 € pro Jahr und Geburtskilink) will keiner Tragen. Husum und Niebüll wird es bald ebenso treffen, und unsere Landtagsabgeordneten, wie Herr Andreas Tietze (im Gesundheitsausschuss des Landes) wissen das auch schon lange.

Unser eigenes Land (durch seine Anwälte im Prozess um den Erhalt der Geburtshilfe auf Sylt) sagt übrigens dazu:

Insofern ist auch zu bedenken, dass diese Situation letztlich
Ergebnis der eigenen und damit auch selbst zu verantwortenden Entscheidung ist, auf einer Insel zu leben.

Dem ist wenig hinzu zu fügen. Sinn würde nur noch mac hen, wenn wir nordfriesischen Inseln die Unabhängigkeit anstreben würden. Den wir könnten das alles problemlos bezahlen, z.B: aus der Grunderwerbsteuer, die das Land auf den Inseln jährlich im 8-stelligen Millionenbereich abgreift. Auch könnte man sich weigern, dem Kreis auch nur noch einen Euro Kreisumlage zu bezahlen, wenn sie nicht die Geburtshilfe auf ALLEN Nordfriesischen Inseln sicherstellt.

Für solche Schritte fehlt es den Verantwortlichen aber an den nötigen ....
