So, apparently, a 100kilometer ridge, called Heart Mountain, around the border of Montana and Wyoming, once moved. It moved about 100 kilometers. Really. 50 million years ago some odd confluence of lava, vertical cracks, water beneath the ridge, sort of shoved the whole thing sideways. For 100 kilometers. What a trip.Huh.
