Several friends was asking me on how to wash the stain off from their le pliage bags. Here are useful information that I found:

1.Remove any stains with soap and water and a cloth or brush on the canvas part. Do not wet the leather trims. Use a Longchamp colorless cream on leather trimmings. - source from Longchamp

2.Toss it in the washing machine every end of summer and wash it on 30 degrees with the wool program and don't use dryer so that it doesn't wrinkle and it still looks new. - Purse Forum

3. I have used baby wipes to clean my Longchamp with success. -Purse Forum

If you are a label lover this store beats vintage shops; it sells secondhand top designerwear for reasonable prices. The majority of the stock is in a good condition. Plus the items are not simply ‘just’ a designer style; they are either a beautiful piece or have interesting details. There was a lot of choice and plenty of great finds to be had. A Mulberry purse for £40, Vivienne Westwood top for £30, Bebe silk dress for £40. On average there is a large range in prices, but on a recent visit there were some great finds in the bargain bin. Men’s upstairs and women’s downstairs.

It carries brands that you rarely find in secondhand shops such as Louis Vuitton, as well as top designer brands such as Valentino, Armani and Yves Saint Laurent. You can find vintage Chanel skirts for £99, this year’s Fendi Spybags for £599, down from £1,200. They have a wide selection of bags but not many shoes or other accessories. You could probably find the odd good bargain on the vintage items as they are mostly in good condition but do still expect to be paying through the nose for newer items. They offer you 50 per cent of sale price.

How does this sound so far?

1. Well as you can see that I’d given you direct links to some of my favourite brands and if you want you can go to the website, choose your favourite designs and either you purchase it online or you can have me to do the shopping for you at the outlets.

Yes, I do charge for my service and delivery. It is either charge per item if you are looking at only 1 item or a percentage of a minimum total items above £50.

ONLINE-SHOPPING VS TRADITIONAL SHOPPING

I spoke to a few friends recently and found out that they have been shopping online for their clothes, lingerie and handbags. Is it cheaper? Is it reliable? Well in terms of costs, time and privacy (i.e. they get to choose funky and kinky stuffs without being noticed by people) it is worth shopping online. It is just several clicks away and you get to see the items that you wanted in less than an hour compared to several hours shop hopping.

But then again, they normally go for trustworthy brands such as La Senza, Radley, Dorothy Perkins, Monsoon and the lists go on.

In fact I read an article today stating

“The scientists found that by far the largest environmental cost of traditional shopping is a consumer driving his or her own car to a store. (They assumed that the average person drives about 14 miles round-trip per shopping outing, and buys about three different items on one trip.)

Much of the energy expenditure for e-commerce also goes towards last-mile delivery. But a UPS truck delivering dozens of packages along its daily route uses a less energy per package, on average. That’s where e-commerce really shines.”

That shows that online-shopping is perhaps something that we all should consider before stepping out of the house.

However, we all should also take note on the delivery costs.Take note or be careful on our credit card and personal information before purchasing make sure we read the privacy policy and other terms and conditions carefully.
