Cha Time - Eton Centris

Cha Time at Eton Centris opens at around 10am, so it was a challenge when we arrived early to buy my daughter's shoes at Center of Gravity (CoG) - a skate shop also located at Eton. My daughter, like me, is also a milk tea enthusiast and since the CoG opens at 11, we decided to have some tea at Cha Time.

My daughter had her usual milk tea with pearl and I had taro milk tea, yum! yum! yum! I love Cha Time's taro coz you can actually taste and eat chunks of taro in your milk tea. It is such a refreshing treat if you haven't tried it yet, then perhaps you'd like a try, more so for taro lovers, I'm sure you would love the taro chunks, makes you feel like you're eating taro and not just drinking a "flavored" tea...

Cha Time is more on the expensive side when it comes to milk tea's reaching into the hundred peso mark unlike other milk tea places that's around the 75 peso mark only but it is indeed well worth it..

The store has other branches, there's one in most SM malls, North, Manila for one, I also discovered one in Trinoma aside from the one at Eton Centris. You might want to venture a visit one of these days when you're craving for a delicious milk tea treat

Mister Kabab - West Avenue

My hubby always loved shawarma, kebabs, hummus and even felafel and one of the best places we've been that gives the most authentic taste (according to my hubby that is) is Mister Kabab...

The place at West Avenue isn't air conditioned but the ceiling fan provides enough cool to allow the place to not be hot and it in an era where air conditioning is almost a must for a place to be called "classy", Mister Kebab West Ave is a welcome change from the norm and the food is absolutely delicious.

Whenever we are craving for shawarma or just a cool yogurt drink then we hop on over to Mister Kebab and enjoy an authentic dish at a reasonable price. I'm not sure if Mister Kebab is franchising but aside from their place at West Avenue, we also discovered one located at UP-Ayala Technohub, so far I only know these two Mister Kebab branches but if they franchised, then I'm sure more will turn up sooner or later.

Banapple Katipunan

Finally, we had a chance to eat at Banapple.

We went to my friend in Makati yesterday and having only ate a sandwich for breakfast, I was quite hungry come noon time and we were still traveling the metro manila traffic, but fortunately it was a slow day for Banaple and when we passed them at Katipunan Ave, we saw that there were only a few cars parked in front, and we said, "wow! this is our chance!"

Everytime we try to drop by at this "restaurant" it was always full and I don't like waiting (sorry :)) so we generally don't stop but perhaps because it was a Monday and it was still early, the place isn't quite packed.

We were surprised to find a good selection. They had chicken, pork and beef, an assortment of desserts and drinks and surprisingly, it wasn't very expensive. We pegged the orders to be at least over 200 pesos each but it wasn't, a little under it actually :P We ordered the chicken breast parmigiano and baby back ribs (both are quite yummy) I ordered the house blend tea and well my hubby just always goes for a soda :) We also got a choco-nut cheesecake, which I absolutely adore, it's not too sweet and the choconut delivered just the right amount of sweetness to it...

As I said we were pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious and the portions were quite hefty. I mean, you will get your fill of the food for sure, we'd like to call it "american servings" coz they have a large serving and for the price you're paying for it and the taste, well, in Filipino term "SULIT!"

I would love to come back to Banapple to try all the other scrumptious looking delights I saw on the menu, but I do hope that they will be able to expand the place to accommodate more people :P I think that's the only downside, the place is a bit small for the lot of people wanting to try them out.

If you know me, then you know I love to eat.

So let me share with you my food adventures. I will post here everytime we eat out, I will tell you if it's good to eat at certain places and I will let you know if the food is worth is or if the service is worth it.
overall I am to let people know about food places that you can visit for some good old fun and good food as well..
