Descidas e subidas com angulos de 35 graus de inclinação, passagem por valas em condição de "Pendulo" onde o carro fica apenas apoiado em 2 rodas opostas. Passagem por poços de lama, agua com mais de 1m de profundidade e passagem por pontes de troncos. O projeto surgiu porque os mapas fornecidos pela Garmin, no Brasil, eram de baixa qualidade. Só recentemente (2006) surgiu o City Select Brasil, mesmo assim com cobertura ainda muito limitada, relativamente caro, e vendido somente em cartão de memória. Os &lt;/span&gt;&lt;em style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;basemaps&lt;/em&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;, que vêm pré-instalados nos receptores GPS, não têm detalhes internos das cidades; somente uma parte das rodovias federais e estaduais aparece nos mesmos; e há muitos problemas de precisão nos traçados e posicionamento.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt; Os mapas do Projeto são mantidos por &lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;voluntários&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt; e são distribuídos &lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;gratuitamente&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt; no site &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" class="wiki_link_ext" href="http://www.tracksource.org.br/" rel="nofollow"&gt;tracksoure.org.br&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt; (na seção de Downloads) onde não é necessário cadastro ou registro.
