Data Entry Career in India

An ideal data entry resume should focus on typing speed, accuracy and level of command over languages. And most importantly your mentioned information must match your real abilities and skill-set. Also mention the software you have already used in your data entry operations, like MS Word, excel, or any other software. Normally average typing speed requirement is 25-30wpm (word per minute). If your speed exceeds that you can mention it clearly. In India minimum requirement of a data entry operator is HSC. But sometimes employers look for graduate candidates to make sure they have good command over English language.

Data entry operator job can be permanent or contractual in nature. But it all depends on your performance. On many occasions good performing contract-based employees get upgraded to permanent position within 3 to 6 months. They come directly under the payroll of the company.

Now a day the scope of a data entry operator has tremendously increased. But you need to be a good learner. Keep upgrading your software knowledge (MS office package, Google Docs, Page maker, even designing software like Photoshop and corel draw etc.), language command (read, write and speak)and speed/ accuracy level.

Career as a data entry operator is all about learning and excelling your abilities.

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities involve working with the application and design teams to effectively model the business requirements into target applications: Design and code all aspects of a solution based on the Microsoft .NET platform using best practices and common patterns, including database, component layers, user interfaces, web services and integration patterns;
Responsible for research, planning, estimating, designing and ensuring customization and integrations components are designed to meet the business needs;
Develop technical architecture and design documents for specific project initiatives;
Must be able to lead technical development process and perform application architecture, design and code level reviews in addition to daily coding/development responsibilities;
Research, design code, test and debug software applications to include SQL database operations;
Understands complex business and technical requirements and translates those requirements into a system/solution architecture;
Develop appropriate analysis deliverables and maintain traceability; develop quality code that meets project and department standards;
Experience with MS Team Foundation Server/Team Edition and Share point Server
Familiarity with the Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience with mentoring mid-level developers

Should independently manage development of high quality software in .NET platform
Design and Implement high performance multi-tier Web applications
