YouTube Upload Not Working with Mac OS X Snow Leopard

Ran into an odd problem. I tried uploading a video from my Mac to YouTube. This is the first time I've tried to do this since upgrading the Mac to Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6). The problem is that YouTube doesn't even let me see the dialog box to upload a file from the Mac. You can see what the problem looks like in the screenshot above. This happens with both Firefox and Safari on the Mac.

I was able to upload a video file from a Windows 7 computer and Firefox without any problems.

Sorry if your recent comment to a blog item was deleted

My apologies if your comment to a recent (within the last week) blog item was deleted. This blog is based on Drupal. And, its Akismet add-on stopped working months ago. I've been manually approving valid comments and deleting spam. But, the task was so onerous this weekend that I ended up deleting everything (hundreds of comment spam).

If anyone knows of a good way to migrate nearly a thousand blog items out of Drupal and into, say, WordPress, please let me know.

Is XMind Worth Looking at as a FreeMind Mind Mapping Allternative?

The XMind mind mapping service an free Open Source (so they claim) app for Windows and Mac OS X (Linux too) looks interesting. But, I dislike the idea of being required to sign up for a "free" XMind ID just to try the app. I've been a reasonably happy FreeMind user for a while now and have been using it more regularly recently. But, I wonder if it is worth the time and effort to take a closer look at XMind.

Any comments from someone who has use XMind?

VisualSVN Server Standard Edition: Free/Easy Subversion Installer for Windows

Subversion is a widely used version control application that is very powerful but can be a little tricky to configure properly. My experience with it has been on Linux servers. I suspect installing it for Microsoft Windows is a bit tricker since installing and configuring Apache's httpd web server might be a bit trickier there too (I haven't installed Apache httpd under Windows in a couple of years). VisualSVN provides a free installer that installs and configures both Apache httpd and their VisualSVN Server...
