Congrats and welcome to the wonderful world of Trucking!The next full episode will be the start of a new sponsor for the show. I will announce who it is then. Just want to wait till everything is final. I’m really excited about this sponsor. It’s a great service and a great product.Starting this Friday I will be releasing mix tape episodes on the off weeks of the full show. These will only be music episodes and the only talk will be in the promos. If I run across any comedy bits from the old show that dont throw the F-bomb in every couple of seconds I will include those as well. I did find an old id in an old hard drive. I will attach it to the end of this episode. It is not censored so consider this your warning. It drops the F-bomb in it and I havent bleeped it out yet. The other day I was doing some distro hopping the other day and it dawned on me that I have 6 computers in the house now. Holy cow, 6! Just a little over 3 months ago I had 1 working pc in the house. The wifes laptop. Well thanks to a couple of friends that were just going to throw away some stuff I now have all these pc’s running Linux and they run great. I didnt change any hardware except for some RAM on what is now the bands computer.
I tell you that to tell this. Dont just throw away your old pc’s. Donate them even if they “dont work”. If they dont work give them to your local pc repair tech. Donate it your local school. Put Linux on it and put it on freelinuxbox.org. Donate it to a friend in need, donate it to Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity. You never know how much difference in someones life. Remember one man’s trash is another’s treasure.

Wow I am tired. I’m recording this on Sunday, my band had a show last night and I just ain’t as young as I used to be. Playin with these young kids on this high energy metal is rough on an old man like me. We played with 4 bands at Blackened Moon in Lansing, MI. I got a couple of CDs from 2 of them and we’ll be hearing from them on the show today. They are Eph Eye and Kill Whitey. The other bands were very good but didn’t have CDs yet. I do want to give a very special shout out to the guys from 6 Seconds to Oblivion. They played last in the line up and were there the entire night! Way to support your fellow brothers and sisters in local music. That makes it tough to show up early and play last and still throw down one of the best sets of the show. You guys rock!

We recorded the show(our set) and I will be giving it a listen this week. If it sounds good I will throw it into the feed for you to give a listen.
