OH WHAT A STEAL!

Focused on the sky...

2014-06-30T10:15:00.000-07:00

Kailyn's Poem (age 7)

My eye is focused on the sky,
I really want to fly!
I don't think i should try.
Oh, but i really want to fly!
I will buy a kite
So i can fly it at night!
Now i have a kite,
That is just right!
Oh, how i really want to fly.

Don't you wish you could fly too?? I used to always look up at the clouds as a kid and wish that I could sit on a cloud and just roam around the sky.

What did you imagine as a kid?

Comment below. I would love to hear your stories!

The FIRE TRUCK is old enough...

2014-06-26T22:14:00.005-07:00

I told Avery to take her fire truck out of the bathroom yesterday and here is how our conversation went.

Me " Avery please take your fire truck out of the bathroom, so it doesn't get yucky"

Avery "no, it not Yucky!".

Me"Avery, now! you need to take the fire truck out of the bathroom".

Avery"No!, I love him!".

Me" I know you love your fire truck, but you need to take it to the play room now".

Avery " no, He's old enough".

Who won this argument?? lol

Avery has loved this fire truck since she was old enough to sit on it...and will ride it all around the house. she is too funny!

Maybe she will be a fire woman some day!

Hi!

It feels so good to be back, but I honestly didn't know where to start because my last post was way back in 2012.

When I wrote last, my third child was only 3 months old. Now she is 2 1/2!

so.. After brainstorming, i realized that the most important thing that I wanted to share with you was about how my life has changed tremendously. I have lost nearly 67 lbs since my 3rd child was born. I am finally down to a healthy weight, and the best part is, that I feel so GREAT!

Along with my gym workouts, our family has decided to eat healthier and put better foods in our bodies. Since this change has taken place, we all have felt so wonderful.

learning to give our kids all the servings of fruits and vegetables that they are supposed to have has become a huge challenge. Our lives are so busy. We cannot seem to consume 6 servings of fruits and vegetables every single day!

**GIVEAWAY** read below for a chance to win!

We have taken Juice Plus for awhile now, and it has changed our thinking process for the better. We are no longer desiring fast foods(although, we are not perfect) , and the kids love it! this is just an addition to our growing family! LOL

Do you want to feel better about your body? Do you want to eat healthier foods? Do you want to help your kids avoid getting sick all the time?

If you answered yes to these questions , you ARE ready for a change!

trust me, I was skeptical for awhile, but my heart wanted my kids to have a better life as they grow older. I decided to take the chance. How could it hurt to be healthy?? It can't... you just have to step your foot down and say YES!

for more information about JUICE PLUS, please go to my website

davidc.juiceplus.com

**For a chance to win 1 bottle of JUICE PLUS , write a comment on how you are going to be healthy this summer, and become a subscriber!** That's it!!

Giveaway ends July 5th @11:59pm+**

LIFE WITH 3!

2012-04-19T12:42:00.000-07:00

Yes, now I am officially a mother of 3 kids ages 5 and under!. Sometimes I am in disbelief until I wake up for the day and enter the world of Chaos. My husband was out of town for a few days and I texted him at 8: 45pm one night. " one child is asleep, one child is screaming, and one child keeps getting out of bed with numerous excuses to stay up and I only have one leg shaved!". Haha! . Oh, and I think my baby is a genius. She knows when I am about to eat. She knows when I lay my head down for a nice relaxing sleep when everyone else is asleep. She knows when I put on a really cute outfit for her to spit up all over. Although rare, when I put something nice on, I get a nice explosion from her pants, because I was really careful to make sure that she didn't spit up on my really nice shirt!

I know some moms out there can relate and laugh along with me, because I tried crying once and it really made my day miserable. So I decided from now on to enjoy and laugh when the day seems like your going to check yourself into a mental hospital! j/k. I would never!

BY the way, all this being said, I wouldn't have changed a thing. I love all 3 of them. My 5 year old is such a good helper. My 3 year old son, is quite the challenge, but he is so smart and lovable! My little 3 month old daughter is the sweetest ever! Even when in the middle of the night she screams, and I whisper to her in a deep voice" Shh you're going to wake your brother and sister up". She smiles at me, and thinks its quite funny. I told you she is a genius! LOL.

The one piece of advice I will take from so many older moms out there that have kids that are all grown up. " Enjoy it, because the time flys so fast and before you know it, they want to be out of the house and on their own". So that advice I will take and ENJOY!

p.s. The picture is of the roly poly playground, that my kids have. Life is a playground, full of slips and slides!

Thanks for reading and if you have any advice, please comment. I would love to hear!

THANKFUL WITH ALL MY HEART!

2011-11-23T08:37:00.000-08:00

Happy thanksgiving to you all! In whatever circumstance you in , remember to be thankful for all the wonderful blessings that Our heavenly Father has given us.

I thought this poem was beautifully said:

Thanksgiving Prayer
Heavenly Father, on Thanksgiving Day
We bow our hearts to You and pray.
We give You thanks for all You've done
Especially for the gift of Jesus, Your Son.
For beauty in nature, Your glory we see
For joy and health, friends and family,
For daily provision, Your mercy and care
These are the blessings You graciously share.
So today we offer this response of praise
With a promise to follow You all of our days.
--Mary Fairchild

It is officially Pumpkin Season!

My favorite place is Tanaka Farms in Irvine, CA. You can park and Pick your own pumpkins for free! ( you do have to pay for the pumpkin). They also have "pick your own veggies" during this time of the year. Their onions are fantastic!

We are also planning a trip to Oak Glen for "Apple Picking" season. I always have a childhood memory of picking apples. It was so fun! I want to carry on that tradition with my kids. Riley's farm also has "home school days". If you are interested, go to their website : http://www.rileysfarm.com/.

Forest Kindergarten: Children ages 3-6 are invited to play and learn in the wilderness parks, beaches and organic farms of Orange County with seasoned instructions on Mondays, beginning September 19 from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. at O'Neill Regional Park, 30892 Trabuco Canyon Rd., Trabuco Canyon. 16 weeks. (double check on this before going). This is something I have not done before, but I am interested in trying it out.

Acorn Day at O’Neill Regional ParkThe free event will take place Sunday, October 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

ONE BUSY MAMA!! WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 12TH FREEBIES AND GIVEAWAY!

2011-09-12T16:19:00.000-07:00

WOW! It has been so long since I have updated my blog. Since the month of September started it has been extremely busy between kailyn officially starting school, birthdays, swim lessons, and doctor visits. I won't mention our house, because it seems that is the last thing that is getting done around here! I have to say I am so proud of my daughter for keeping her room clean. It has been spectacular for about 3 weeks now. It is almost an "obsession" for her right now. (hope it lasts a long, long time) LOL. The kids play room is the cleanest room in the house. Unbelievable! Well I guess I can't complain too much for being busy. It is giving me quite a challenge, and I love it. I love teaching Kailyn. She loves to do "homework" as she calls it.

Well I was trying to update my blog every day, but that isn't happening, so I will try my best to at least update it weekly.

Happy Fall! by the way.. My favorite time of the year :)

IT ALWAYS PUZZLES ME THAT PEOPLE LOOK AT THIS "WARNING" SIGN AND THEN IGNORE IT, GO PAST IT AND TRY TO SWIM NEAR THE ROCKS ANYWAY. OK, THEY ARE ENTERING AT THEIR RISK, BUT THEY ARE ALSO ENTERING AT THE LIFE GUARD'S RISK WHO IS RISKING HIS LIFE FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S STUPIDITY. I WATCHED THE LIFE GUARD RUN OVER THERE AT LEAST 5 TIMES TO WARN PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FROM THE ROCKS TO SWIM... IT WAS SUPER HIGH TIDE YESTERDAY AT THE BEACH. I GUESS THIS IS WHY WE ALWAYS HEAR OF IT ON THE NEWS THAT SOMEONE WAS KNOCKED OVER AND SWEPTED INTO THE OCEAN.
