Day 148/366

Nurarihyon no Mago is about a "normal" boy who just happens to have demon blood in him. When that blood awakens he becomes the leader of a demon group!

Plain boring all black for boys, although apparently they have white shirts under those black jackets and wear blue ties. Girls... oi... stupid tan school sweaters... Some girls wear a nice thin red bow tie that overlaps onto the sweater which kinda looks cute but still ends up ugly in my opinion. It's like they knew it was icky and tried hard to make it look alright... At least that's what I like to believe... I do however like the blue skirts with the very thin trim along the bottom. It makes them stand out while the rest of the outfit is hideous.

Overall: I'll skip these ones as a whole but I'd totally wear that skirt.

My face trying to watch this show...

Green Green is a gross show about girls and boys in the woods or something... I dunno, I dropped this show... Seriously though it's about an all boys school that wants to go co-ed!

Simple but pretty ugly uniforms here. Both genders wear a white shirt where it seems they can wear whatever they want under it. On the left sleeve there is a pretty icky in your face school crest. Girls are the only ones that seem to wear ties and they can be black or red and both have 2 tan stripes at the bottom which is kinda neat I suppose. Girls also have the choice of what colour skirt they can wear being shit green or plain black which matches the black pants that the boys wear.

Overall: No way.

Kuttsukiboshi is about 2 girls who end up falling in love and one girl just happens to have telekinesis powers.

Plain white shirts with black skirts. Some girls like to wear the ugly tan sweater vest and the very cute red bow tie which almost makes the vest tolerable... Almost...

Overall: Mehhhhh. Very sexual girls though!

Gon 01

Normally something like this is a warning to dinosaurs.

Gon's first encounter when he lands.

Gon flies through the sky one day and makes all the jungle animals his bitch!

Jack and Ussu fight ALL THE TIME!

Gon headbutts Ussu.

Gon makes Ussu his bitch! Jack stares at them.

LAND FISH!

Not sure why Gon got into one of the fish... But this way he ends up making Jack his bitch!

This introductory episode, Gon focuses on making Ussu the Bear his bitch because Ussu asked for it! After Gon succeeds in doing this he turns his attention to Jack the Wolf because he's always fighting with Ussu to be king of the jungle. So Gon not only makes Ussu his bitch, he also makes Jack his bitch too! Why? Because dinosaurs are the TRUE king of the jungle that's WHY!!!

I enjoyed that Gon got INSIDE a fish to finish off Jack. It made no sense but it was highly amusing.

Don't piss off the little tough guy!

In the end all Gon really wants to do with everyone is eat and sleep. All that bitch making just sorta happens when he shows up because Gon is a kick ass dinosaur and all must bow to DINOSAURS! Eating is what Gon loves to do the most and I can see why. All that running around he ends up doing takes a lot of energy that his little body surely needs and what better way to keep his stamina up than to nomnom ALL THE TIME! Getting the right amount of sleep helps with this too I'm sure. Maybe that's why I sleep so much too...

Everyone's pretty buddy buddy after a good fish meal together.

I really enjoyed this first episode even if hardly anything happened. Watching Gon and all the other jungle animals bounce around doing their thing was quite entertaining. It has a nice clean too to it too since it's CG. The OP for Gon is darn catchy too. I mean it's CLEARLY made for children and all but I still love it to bits. The ED is pretty cute too as it has all those animals in the background as Gon walks on like they do in a lot of other anime ED themes... I suppose that could be a post on its own too, but I'm sure someone else has already said a thing or 2 about this phenomenon.

Apparently no one in the manga talks. (I can't wait to get my hands on this manga btw) But they made it so only Gon doesn't talk in the anime but all the other animals do. I like that they made them talk because while yes Gon is still very much a kiddy show it doesn't feel THAT kiddy because of the talking... Maybe that's just me though and my biased opinions. Manga is easier to get away with no talking than anime in my opinion since it adds an atmosphere that is unique to manga.

Nichijou is about a bunch of randomness.

Like the plaid pink skirt oddly enough since it matches the in your face pink bow they wear as well. I wish the jackets weren't tan though... I don't know what other colour would make it better but I think I'm just sick and tired of TAN. The other girl uniform we see is a simple blue sailor suit with a rather cute tie. Not the same kind of tie we normally see with a sailor suit so, I like!

Boys get to wear their same old all black uniform. In the picture below the boy is wearing a "tie" that only he wears though.

Overall: Ummmm sure I guess...

Del Power X is a silly show about a girl who has a pretty strange but awesome family.

Typical on all fronts... Nothing to see here... Although the show is pretty entertaining in that "haha it's old" kind of way.

I'LL FIGHT YOU!

Escaflowne is about a girl who gets sucked into another world.

Wooo... Typical sailor suit... wooooo.... At least it's brown and tan instead of plain white and blue. Same big red bow though. I do like the pockets on each side of the jacket. I like how the boy uniforms match perfectly too. We don't see the gym uniforms a lot but when we do either gender can wear a red or white t-shirt and same goes for the shorts. Maybe pink in the case of girls for the shorts though.

Overall: Meh

Today, I have a sad announcement to make.

Transfer students leaving could be sad I suppose. I've never personally had that experience since I didn't really go to any schools that would attract those kind of students. Maybe in my high school but I didn't get too close to people there anyway. In my elementary school I remember being friends with some Russian girl and she ended up leaving due to her being the daughter of the Russian Embassy dude. I honestly don't remember too much about how I felt about it back then though...

The prince Ngvangida is going back home. He speaks of how everyone has been so nice to him. But he still has his rich ways coming through since he thinks everyone lives in small houses and dresses poorly. Culture differences and class differences are always quite interesting to me. How each view the other can be quite amusing.

As it turns out at the end of the episode Ngvangida will be staying in Japan since his family has fled his country. Their pink diamonds have apparently run dry and the family is in ruin... Crappy episode is crappy... What was the debate again?!

Ghost Hunt is about a girl who just happens to become a helper of people that deal with the supernatural.

Yet again another as simple as it gets sailor uniform. Love her thigh highs though There are some girls in this show that wear some ugly school sweaters too but those weren't worth me trying to get a photo of since they are ugly as sin anyway.

Overall: Another pass.
