Is Google+ a Failure?

Failure of Google+ probably... But rise of Window Phone 7 I don't thinks so. Windows Phone 7 Is a new comer same as Google+. Google+ needs to beat facebook for the social networking so it still has a chance to succeed with the help of Google's Android, Google Voice and Gmail (which probably all user will automatically have google+).
For Windows Phone 7, it needs to fights its place from iOS and Android. It's already been a tight battle between iOS and Android that it already knock out Symbian and Blackbery from their former positions. Windows Phone 7 is still in its early stage still missing basic features like copy and paste on the other hand iOS and Android is Already taking a big byte out of Windows 7 OS from the tablet market. Window Phone was known to suck on their Office Apps thats why 3rd party apps are always much better, and they are now available on Android and iOS devices.
So rise of Windows Phone 7 I don't think so, maybe in 2 years if Android and iOS bump into some kind of trouble.

Gadgets to Help or to Stress

Gadgets are created make life easier but with overwhelming new gadgets sprouting like mushroom instead of helping its the one giving us stress.

When you logout from work, you still have your cellphone, therefore the boss still can call you anytime. Most cellphone now a days can read e-mails so therefore you will be obligated to be updated. If you left your phone to get away from work, SMS and voice mail will be left for you.

Aren't gadgets suppose to help us make our life easier? But is that whats happening? Try going away for a week without any gadgets (cellphone, computer, tablets etc.) and see how you feel.

Wolf killer

Story: How to Kill a Wolf (Eskimo Style) Up in the arctic circle there is tribe of Eskimo's who have learned to set a very simple yet effective trap for wolves. First they sharpen a knife razor sharp. Then they dip it in the blood of a seal they have killed. (you see seals are fairly easy to trap but wolves are very dangerous). After dipping the knife in blood they set it outside in the cold so the blood freezes on the knife. After if freezes (a matter of minutes) they dip it again into the seal blood and again take it out an let the blood freeze. Layer after layer they make a blood popsicle.

When they are done, the knife's blade is hidden inside just like a popsicle stick. Now they take the knife out into the wilderness where they think a wolf might be. There the bury the handle of the knife in the snow leaving the blood popsicle standing up and they leave. Now after a while a wolf will come along guided by his sense of smell and find the "bloodsicle". He will being licking it, enjoying every taste. Over and over he licks the knife and soon his tongue is so cold he cannot feel it any longer. It's numb. But his taste for blood is growing and he is not getting as much as he wants -you see, popsicles are slow eating. Finally his licking exposes the razor sharp edge of the knife. It cuts into his tongue again and again but he does not even notice for his tongue can no longer feel anything. The wolfs own blood now flows from his cut tongue. The wolf is thrilled, blood is now more plentiful and he continues to lick more and more. Soon he notices something is wrong, he is getting weaker not stronger. Since he knows blood as food he increases his efforts to feed on the ever increasing flow of blood. His last thoughts are of how good the now warm blood tastes. Within minutes he licks his last and collapse next to the now fully exposed knife. Here the Eskimo knows he will find the wolfs body the next morning.

I have heard the story above a couple of times but it is just now I have realized where to apply it.

There is a quesation on the semminar "How to manage your boos?" and it goese like this, the first step to know how to mannage your boss is to identify what kind of animal is he/she. A beaver, a hard worker that prepare and establish things for tomorrow. A lion, has the power and command to lead. An eagle, has a great vand realiable vission etc etc... finaly a wolf that is greedy, always huggry to snatch on smaller animals, stills credit but lazy to work.

Kill the wolf by giving it what it wants, credits, power and let it just sit by and relax. It may take a while but certainly time will come it will be noticed by every body but him that he is worthless to the company and that will put an end to him.

If The Cat is Not Around

They always say that if the cat is not around the mice will play. It is true that most of the time when the boss is not around everybody slacks-off. But don't forget sometimes it is also true that if the cat is not around there is another cat.

If the boss is not around there is another boss that would take over or an acting boss or someone feeling like a boss.

The Early Bird Catches the Early Worm

They say the early bird catches the early worm to inspire people to be on time. It sound that there is a reward to be on time, but that is not always the case. It may sounds that there is a reward because it is right that the early bird catches the early worm not unless you are the worm. If you have a business then it may apply that if you open up early then the possibility that you make more sale than those who open later than you because to have tapped in the early buyers-in this case you are the bird. But there are cases that you the worm and I think I don't need to mention it just think back and I bet you'll find a good example that happened to you.

Only The Paranoid Survives

They say only the paranoid survives, sometime true sometimes not. It depend on the situation, you can see happy go lucky but still doing well.

To be paranoid is sometimes good and sometime bad. Just have the right. But ho level of paranoia into your life and you'll do well. But how much is enough? Enough to keep you safe but not too much the it gets into your way.

Motivation

What would happen if somebody is over motivated? It will also lead to destruction, don't forget that we have our limitation. "You'll never know how high you can fly until you spread you wings" they say, but how about if your a penguin? So you must know your self before you jump or dive in.
