&amp;nbsp; "Our study clearly shows that a higher score of intelligence in adults quarantine causes better results in tests for back, legs, hands and for balance," says Rikke Hodal Meincke , PhD student at the Centre for Ageing and Health at the University of Copenhagen.&lt;br /&gt;

Finally, 3.7% of participants who had a score of higher intelligence, showed more balance.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp; "One of the reasons that could explain this connection between the intelligence of men in their forties and their physical performance is that men with higher intelligence score better understand and interpret health information. They therefore adopt healthier lifestyle by making eg more regular physical exercise. This activity can be considered as a mechanism to explain the link between intelligence and physical performance ", concluded Rikke Hodal Meincke.&lt;br /&gt;
